Delridge strength is a super supportive and welcoming strength training environment. The coaches care about working with people where they are and building them up to be the best they can be. I highly recommend giving them a try if you are looking to start strength training.

The community being built at Delridge Strength is like none other I have seen before! As a woman, it has been hard to find a gym/lifting community that is welcoming, and safe, and helps me reach beyond what I thought I was capable of.
Coach Michelle is a fantastic person and human overall who meets every member where they are at and tailors coaching to each member's specific goals.
The coaches and members at DS have helped me exceed my expectations and instilled confidence in me that I did not even know I needed.
Joining Delridge Strength is not a decision you will regret.

Working out is just part of the reason I enjoy going to Delridge Strength several times a week; the real reason is to socialize with the awesome staff and other members! The atmosphere is approachable, fun, shameless and energetic while also being extremely clean, accessible and STACKED with the latest and greatest in fitness equipment. I’m so thankful for the mini community I’ve found thanks to Sonia, Michelle and team. See ya this week 😊

I love this place! I was looking for a safe and open gym experience for someone in a larger body. I have been blown away by the comfort and support at this gym not only by the coaches but by the fellow gym goers. If you're on the fence do yourself a favor and check this place out. I always walk out feeling empowered and excited for my next class. I'd give 10 stars if could!

I cannot speak more highly of Delridge Strength and Coach Michelle. I have been on my weight loss and strength building journey for over a year. I joined the gym several months ago with a specific strength goal I wanted to hit, but told the gym owner that I did not think it would be possible for me to obtain (as I could not obtain that goal when I was younger). In a matter of 4 months, I not only hit my goal but surpassed it.

The gym is a very inclusive experience with kind, helpful participants. Coach Michelle is a pleasure to work with and knows her stuff. The gym setup itself is perfect for moving weights as well as cardio.

I would highly recommend this gym to anyone regardless of age, experience, or any other factors.

As someone who has been the skinny weak guy his whole life, I've had a long history of going to gyms and quickly burning out/losing drive due to frustration. The community here at DelStr is welcoming and supportive. Coach Michelle has been great about giving positive feedback and answering questions on form, technique, and how to achieve my goals. I feel confident and encouraged everytime I go and this is the reason why I haven't burned out this time or given up.

I can't say enough good things about this place. First and foremost it's the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. You'll see a wide variety of people with different backgrounds, levels of experience, and fitness goals. It's come as you are and work as hard as you want to/are able to. And there's plenty of different types of equipment to mix things up. Whether you work out on your own or join a class, you won't be bored.

Coach Michelle's thoughtful approach to Strength and Conditioning is excellent, her background, experience and guidance has allowed me to make more progress in a year than I have had in the previous 5.
The friendly environment and gym culture is also very important to me.
Coach Michelle makes me feel welcome and provides a safe, positive setting to meet my goals, whether it is to focus on the right movements while dealing with an injury or to be challenged to create a new better version of myself.

I've been a member of CAA for some time now and I am very excited that the strength and conditioning area has expanded to become Delridge Strength. The coaches (Michelle and Sonia) at Delridge Fitness excel at personalization, tailoring workouts to suit individual needs and goals. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced athlete, they meet you where you are on your fitness journey.

The gym itself boasts an impressive selection of equipment and ample space, making every workout session efficient and enjoyable. From cardio machines to free weights, the variety caters to diverse workout preferences.

However, what truly sets Delridge Fitness apart is its incredible community. The camaraderie among members is palpable, fostering a supportive and motivating atmosphere. Whether you're sweating through a challenging circuit or celebrating a personal milestone, you're surrounded by like-minded individuals who inspire and uplift.

I highly recommend Delridge Fitness to anyone seeking to elevate their fitness journey and become part of an incredible community.

To really review Delridge Strength, you have to know a little bit about me and my journey. Like many 30 somethings, I’ve struggled with prioritizing my physical health with the demand of more and more adult responsibilities, despite being pretty active in my teens/20s and lifting regularly. I was not looking forward to getting into the gym again, and my first few days really crystallized how far my physical/cardiovascular health had fallen - father time kicks in the door on us all :’). So - in September of 2022, when I decided it was time to get back in shape, I was initially concerned about how my body would perform over time and to be honest, a little intimidated about starting over at a new gym. I've been coming weekly since then, and it’s now April 2024, and I’m in the best shape of my life.

How? Well, let’s get to the good stuff. In my 15 years of training (competitive power lifting, basketball, jiu-jitsu, etc.), I have not found a gym like Delridge Strength (and its sister facility - Combat Arts Academy). Coach Michelle is a true expert of her craft and has been (and continues to be) an excellent partner in helping me improve my strength, conditioning, and mobility. Her diverse background and expertise in PT, coaching, and training combat athletes (as well as competing herself) really shines through in how she coaches. I opt for the group classes and I can share that the workouts are thoughtfully designed, are part of larger programs (not just a flavor of the day), and challenge your body in different ways to not only build physical strength, and cardiovascular conditioning, but to improve muscle memory. This is really beneficial in case you ever find yourself in a compromised situation (think catching yourself before you fall). Best of all, Michelle and the rest of the coaching staff (Sonia, Joe, etc.) are just incredibly supportive and aware of everyone’s individual journeys and has fostered a culture of support that is incredibly difficult to find.

So, ask yourself what you’re looking for and what you’re trying to accomplish. Stuck in a rut? Nursing an injury and want to get back to your pre-injury form? Just trying to get back into shape? Well, you found the right place - this is the one.

Coach Michelle at Delridge Strength does a fantastic job meeting people where they're at. Before I started lifting I had no idea about proper form, how to pay attention to my body, etc. Training at DelStr taught me all of those things. In addition, they are really intentional about making the space super inclusive for everyone, and friendly for all body types. Can't recommend it highly enough.

As someone who spent most of my athletic career avoiding lifting I was intimidated joining a gym to learn how to lift. Coach Michelle quickly dispelled that anxiety with an approach that is both technical and encouraging. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a positive, effective program for strength and conditioning!
