I’ve been training at Eastlake Barbell for just over a year and it’s been such a great experience. Justin is a great trainer! He takes the time to understand your individual goals and builds programs that really push you while keeping things fun. Since joining, I’ve gotten stronger and have noticed I don't have the same early-season fatigue when skiing and hiking. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a supportive, goal-oriented gym community!

I have been coming to this gym since 2016.
I’m not a “workout“ type of person, but my naturopath insisted I do something physical. So, since this gym was only a few blocks away, I decided to give it a try. And I’ve stayed. The kindness of the trainers and the attention to my particular likes and dislikes has been immeasurable. Plus, I’ve been through so many surgeries and each one has been incredibly supported by this gym. The new leadership is astounding. Communication and giving the space a much needed refresh has been terrific. I still have never become one of those people that “likes to work out“, But I can at least tolerated it now and have developed amazing friendships and support, and it’s a real non-threatening, community feel, especially for those of you that get intimidated by gyms.

This gym has created a serious problem for me. I have had to buy all new clothes because I have gained 30 pound of muscle! But seriously, I love this gym. Justin is a great trainer and his strength training programming has been a revelation for me. I am 35 years old and can honestly say that I've never felt physically stronger. I feel like I have finally learned how to work out the right way.
I also want to mention that Justin tailors programming individually based on fitness goals, so no matter what you want to get out of the experience, you'll get results.

I’ve been going to EBC for about 6 months now and really enjoy the structure and support from Justin. EBC can design workout programs that are tailored to your goals, needs, lifestyle etc while also being in community with other members. I appreciate Justin’s support even when life gets busy for me and I am in and out of the gym. I love having a lifting gym close by in the Eastlake neighborhood. Definitely recommend!

We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Justin. My wife and I wanted a rigorous but still fun workout experience, and Justin definitely holds us accountable and pushes us, while also making sure we have fun, listening to our needs, and adjusting as needed. We genuinely look forward to every workout with him — and yes, many weeks, we do leave darn sore!
If you're in search of a great trainer with a strong focus on technique and an ability to make sure you get a great workout in each session, look no further. This was a first gym experience for both of us, and Justin has made us feel super comfortable as we get familiar with everything. We highly recommend Justin and Eastlake Barbell Club!

As a former collegiate athlete that has trained at numerous world class facilities, I can confidently say that Eastlake Barbell Club is an excellent gym. The equipment and space is top tier, the community is welcoming for anyone/everyone (whether you’re just getting into fitness or are an experienced athlete looking for tailored training), and Justin is a superb trainer. Workouts are tailored to each person’s individual needs and the semi-private format makes the gym more accessible without the unattainable cost of private training in the area. I recommend this gym to anyone and feel so lucky to have found it myself!

Justin is such an incredible trainer! I came to him looking to change things up and worked with him to identify my goals and he helped make a workout AND meal plan for me to lose weight and to achieve my athletic goals! Going to Eastlake barbell club is always great vibes and I know that I’ll be getting a great workout that moves me closer to my goals!
I think they also do classes which is cool!
