Jenny was so thoughtful in how she approached my pain— I was a bit of a tough case to crack, but she approached my shifting pain from many different directions (both literally and figuratively) until I was nearly good as new! Also, everyone working seemed to genuinely enjoy being there, from Tiana at the front desk to the fitness coaches to the other physical therapists. I would recommend Experience Momentum to anyone needing physical therapy!

I let a back injury rot for a couple years before I went to experience momentum in mill creek. I couldn't bend over (and for a swimmer who does flip turns, this really stunk). I started in April and I followed the advice given, though to be honest - I didn't always understand. I worked almost exclusively with Maya dos Santos and she was kind and knowledgeable. She was flexible with every mood and discomfort I had. She answered every pestering question I came up with. She cared about my progress. When I graduated in September, she helped me craft a plan that fit my lifestyle and goals that could maintain the results without a significant time sync. It's october now and I live and swim with no trace of my prior pain. Forever thanks Maya!

I’ve been seeing Dan off and on since 2021, and I can’t recommend him enough. I’ve even followed him through practice changes because the quality of care he provides is outstanding. He’s thorough, attentive, and makes sure I’m not just feeling better, but truly back to 100%. Over the years, he’s earned my full trust, I always know I’m in good hands with him.

I had a great experience at Experience Momentum. Everyone was professional, kind, and welcoming. Maya helped me so much with my shoulder and neck — she explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and made a big difference. Highly recommend!

I have had the absolute best time at Experience Momentum and couldn't recommend them more! I went in originally for a shoulder injury, with a sedentary lifestyle, and no idea how to even get started working with weights and have now graduated physical therapy not just healed but strong, knowledgable about how to work with weights and all sort of exercises I can do on my own in the gym, and most importantly feeling empowered. Dan has done so much more for me than just to heal my injury, though he absolutely did that too, and I couldn't be more grateful to him and the whole team at EM. You can tell Dan is not just extremely experienced and excellent at what he does, but that he is passionate about it also and more importantly really cares about his clients and helping them to improve overall health and achieve goals. You can just tell when Dan's asking how your feeling, what's been challenging for you lately and how your week has been overall that he isn't just checking off boxes he is really asking and listening he cares about your answers and tailors the plans for that day on the spot as needed to be sure any challenges or concerns are addressed and you always feel heard and cared for, I seriously couldn't recommend him more. I have to shout out Jane as well who has been a huge part of not just my recovery, but my knowledge, strength and passion for the gym as well. She was not only great at teaching me new exercises, helping me maintain excellent form throughout and helping me push myself the appropriate amount but she actually made exercise and working hard feel fun. We laughed through many of our routines together and I began really looking forward to exercising with and seeing her each week (and I have never looked forward to exercising in my life). Everyone at the gym made me feel welcomed and at home every time I came in, I had great laughs and conversations with Jenny and Peter always brings the energy and the best tunes. Overall I simply can't say enough great things about Dan, Jane and everyone at EM my experience has been incredible and life changing and I would recommend anyone needing PT or just a great gym routine to check them out, I am sure you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend Experience Momentum in MillCreek! Dan and Jenny fixed my bum shoulder in as little as a few weeks after a year of PT elsewhere that just wasn’t hitting what I needed. I needed more/different and functional vs the tried routine of basic movement. I will never go anywhere else for PT because I trust their knowledge and the “why” behind it. I hurt my neck in the Spartan. Two visits to Dan later I’m feeling pretty great ;he’s like magic! Props to a great overall experience. If you like results you need to go here asap!

I attend fitness classes at Experience Momentum Mill Creek location. They offer a variety of formats for different fitness interests/goals. **Strength training for Endurance Athletes is FANTASTIC for runners/bikers/hikers** and may be offered again at Mill Creek location pending enough interest... It is currently provided at Lynnwood.

The instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging. The space is clean and uncluttered. What is especially important to me, as someone who is sensitive to loud and distorted sounds, the acoustics in the Mill Creek location are well-managed; you can hear the instructors clearly, and the music is motivating (Peter makes the best playlists!!) but not distracting.

Experience Momentum really has the best PT services. I've tried other places with previous injuries, but since finding Experience Momentum about 10 years ago, I haven't been anywhere else. Most recently, I was having back and hip issues, and after referral to PT, Jenny was able to identify and guide me through the process of reducing the inflammation and strengthening the muscles needed to recover. Working with Jenny and Jane was a great experience. You can tell they really care about their patients. They asked questions, listened, and adapted as I progressed. Thanks to Tiana for the scheduling help and warm greetings too.

Best place ever!!

I tore my meniscus last year and after my surgery was told by my surgeon that this is the best spot to go to in the area, and boy was she right. Everyone that works here is great at what they do.

Jenny does such an incredible job teaching and explaining things to her clients. She constantly pushed me the exact ways I needed during my recovery and kept me informed through every step about WHY we were doing what we did.

Tiana has the patience of a Saint, and she consistently worked with me to make sure the scheduling was taken care of and my LNI claim was good.

Dan is a wizard. Working with Dan during the recovery was excellent, the way he’s able to expand on the recovery process and work with people is amazing.

Sarah was incredible to work with, she constantly kept me moving and engaged during my sessions. When I would come in a little tired she would always bring the energy for me!

Hilary was great to meet towards the end of my recovery as well! She did a great job in jumping straight into things with me and not missing a beat during my time working with her.

I will miss this place, but I’m so glad I got to meet and work with everyone here. If you need anything, this is the spot to go.

I found Experience Momentum after doing several months of rehab at a different physical therapy practice for a knee injury and not seeing any results or improvement.

Dr. Jenny's easygoing demeanor was so warm and welcoming, I immediately felt at ease. She was able to quickly triage and diagnose multiple underlying mobility issues that attributed to my knee injury, and set me on a correction course for recovery, which only ended up taking a couple weeks.

Dr. Jenny's expertise in sports medicine and cheerful optimism truly set her apart from previous specialists I had visited at other practices, and ultimately attributed to a quick recovery back to 100%.

I can't recommend this place enough. Every aspect of my experience was above and beyond my expectations.

Edit: Also wanted to give a special shout-out to Dr. Dan - The Master of Squat. His strength and conditioning coaching has had a tremendous impact on both my form and confidence during lifts. He provided custom lift coaching tailored to my specific body anatomy. I will be using the lessons learned from him for the rest of my life.

Experience Momentum is fabulous! My 15-year old daughter needed PT for a high school soccer injury. The therapy we have received has been phenomenal! Everyone who works there is phenomenal! The energy in the business is positive, welcoming and encouraging.

Both the gym and therapy areas are always clean and organized.

If you needed a sign about where to go for your PT or fitness training, this is it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been going to Experience Momentum-Mill Creek for almost 1-1/2 years for fitness classes, personal training and physical therapy.
I love this place!
It’s a smaller crossfit-style gym with mostly free weights, resistance bands, air bikes and rowers. The staff is very knowledgeable and the business is very clean, inclusive and friendly for all. Coaches are accommodating if you have limitations, and will suggest alternate exercises if you are unable to follow the class plan.
Highly recommend for people who do not like the usual fitness gyms.

I started seeing Jenny and Dan when months of Chiropractic wasn't resolving my low back and hip issues. It didn't matter who I saw that day, they were both instrumental in making me feel better and figuring out how to get me back to my normal life of being active and lifting weights. They always took the time to listen and ask me the right questions to get us towards the proper care needed. Not only did they get me feeling better, but I looked forward to seeing them weekly. I also appreciated their approach, it was doable with a once a week visit to see them in person + home exercises that fit into my busy schedule with work travel and kids. I would recommend anyone to see them and Experience Momentum if you are in need of PT!

I have used Experience Momentum twice now for physical therapy for various injuries. All staff is incredible and always nice and remember your name. Tiana at the front desk is lovely. Working with Jenny and Dan for PT made the work not only fun and enjoyable, but completely manageable. They set me up for success in unmatched ways, to include personal video instructions for at-home exercises. I thought I would for sure need surgery to recover from a torn labrum but I was able to get back to regular range of motion and regular activity with only the help of PT. I wouldnt have been able to achieve that without Experience Momentum and all the PT’so was able to work with.

Experience Momentum at Mill Creek is a great place for CrossFit classes or to be seen by a Physical Therapist. The facility is nicely laid out has lots of light and also has showers and you're always greeted with a smile.
Stephanie my main coach who is also a Physical Therapist has always guided me along in a quiet way but still holding me accountable so I improve, making sure your form is correct and you build strength.
I've also taken other classes from Kyle, Gale and Dan each has their own coaching style but every one of them will help you get the work done.
I was having shoulder pain and Dan helped me get movement back into that shoulder in a short time with his focused exercise approach. If you want results for overall health consider Experiance Momentum you will be glad you did.

What can I say about Exp. Mont.? They are the best! Our first family experience was 10 years ago. Since then all four family members have greatly benefitted from the excellent PT treatment received at Exp. Mont. Two children post-op ACL repair therapy and a husband with rotator cuff issues. Finally it was my turn thanks to a stretched/partly torn ACL and a known torn meniscus. This is when I met Dr. Stephanie Magnin at the Lynnwood Clinic,
Stephanie is definitely an expert in her chosen field. She is through, understanding, patient, attentive, encouraging, supportive, kind and a great communicator. She modified my exercises as needed and helped me understand the role my body in my rehab process. I have been able to downhill ski the last 2 years with a 3rd season on the horizon all without surgery!
I also experienced a shoulder injury. I requested to work with Stephanie since I was impressed with her knowledge and effective approach to my knee treatment. Another successful experience was had.
Now I am receiving pelvic floor treatment and luckily Stephanie is trained in this area (1 of 2 therapist). I was excited to receive this news and to learn Stephanie is the GM at the Mill Creek branch! A great choice by Exp Mont.
Due to our family experiences at Exp Mont. and definitely due to my own personal experience I am a strong believer and advocate for PT.
I highly recommend Exp.Mont. and Dr Stephanie Magnin!

The BEST gym around. Stephanie, Kyle, Gale, Kaitlyn, and Dan are all great coaches who help you achieve your fitness goals. Each coach is very observant and focuses on form rather than speed. All the equipment is top of the line! The workouts are great and put together well whether that’s CrossFit, bootcamp, mobility, etc. If you’re looking for an amazing gym with an amazing community then EM is the spot.

EM has changed my life. I went from fit to mush due to a herniated disc injury. The EM team hired Dan earlier this year and he is a top tier PT! I have been to PT for my back a couple of times but after working with him I am finally able to manage pain and get moving again on my own. Dan is an incredible listener, offers unique and fun exercises, focuses on personal goals, and best of all, discusses internal struggles that prevented me from achieving fitness goals. The entire EM team is fantastic and I highly recommend for classes, PT, massage, nutrition - you name it!

I am an endurance athlete with a history of knee issues that would prevent me from accomplishing my goals. This year I took up the challenge of my first 100-mile race, in mountainous terrain. Dan Crusoe has supported me every step of the way by tending to any issues that arose, defining a set of customized exercises to strengthen me and address the specific course challenges. As I progressed, he continuously reassessed and refined the treatment plan as needed. Within several months and through a mix of in-office physical therapy and home exercises, I was able to eliminate any pain while adhering to my training schedule and ramping up the weekly mileage. I reached the race ready to accomplish my plans, pain-free and with a strong base - and successfully completed it!

What makes this physical therapy place so awesome? I have been to two other physical therapy facilities in the past for the same issue and never really felt as if my problem had ever been resolved.
Taylor's has terrific people skills and very intuitive detective skills which makes her a cut above the rest of therapists. She knows what questions to ask and how to tweak exercises in order to get the maximum benefit desired. I would not hesitate to recommend her facility in a heartbeat! For me, it was worth the extra drive(30 min) ! Thank you Taylor!!

I'm 50+ on a journey to improve my physical health and new to crossfit. The trainers have been great! They provide helpful modifications for people who aren't able to do some of the more challenging exercises. I
leave feeling like I got a good workout, appreciate that they have their eyes on proper form, too. The flexibility & mobility class was SO nice. We got into some muscles that needed a little extra, and the stretches felt awesome. Can't say enough good things about Coach Haley!

There are so many options out there for fitness goals, and I know I made the absolute best choice in joining Experience Momentum. The GM, Taylor, is incredible and genuinely cares about each and every member she works with. I was referred to EM for PT due to a shoulder injury few years ago, I've been a huge fan since. Their PT team is really invested in helping you achieve your goals. Their approach to care is very positive, acknowledging that you got injured doing what you enjoy doing and targeting the care to help you get back to your hobby safely and more prepared to prevent further injuries.
Having the Crossfit gym together with Physical Therapy make the experience way better since both sides understand the other one. Many of the coaches are PTs and can use their deep knowledge to scale (up/down) the workouts according to individual needs, goals and/or recovery plans.
Personally, there have been many times in which I express some physical discomfort to my coach and they take a look at my form and give me the exact adjustment I need to make. Once I adjust, the next lift not only removes the discomfort, it also makes the lift easier and safer.

All in all, it's been a great experience in and out, great coaching, great PT, excellent environment for new and experienced athletes.

I’ve been going here 13 months and love it. I always wanted to try cross fit, but never did and had all sorts of good excuses. Walked in one day and spoke to coach Jim and Mike and decided to give it a whirl.

Classes are small and allow a lot of 1:1 attention which is great. They help me with my form and technique which is really important. Doing weights with ugly technique is no bueno.. In addition there’s great camaraderie with other in the class. New folks and super experienced folks cheer each other on alike, so you do t have to be worried about fitting in regardless of your abilities.

If you’re here reading reviews, give it a try, you won’t regret it!

Updating as I've also joined as a member of Conflux! The coaches are awesome and love that they listen to feedback, really love the weekly focus on Strength training and the assistance to achieve our goals. When you pay premium for Crossfit Training, you should expect premium service/coaching and at Conflux, I am always their focus as are each and every member. There is no one-size-fits-all for training, and these Coaches do a great job at making sure we each get a workout that we can achieve without pain or pressure. Thanks Mike & Jim for helping us all reach our goals!

For over 6 months, I've had pain shooting through my upper right arm after a Crossfit Injury. Sleeping was difficult with the pain, waking up was even tougher - over 5 Chiropractic Appointments and numerous sports massages - nothing helped well, except for perhaps that day or 24 hours at the most. I remembered that Mike and Jim had opened Conflux and having worked with them through successful Crossfit Mobility sessions - I gave them a call. It was easy to an appointment with Dr. Mike B online, and after my initial session - I was moving my arm once again, the pain was nearly gone, I slept through the night, After a couple of follow-ups and doing the prescribed exercises - my arm is nearly back to normal and I can once again lift over my head. In addition to what I initially came for - Dr Mike showed me how to improve my movements so that I can avoid the injury in the future. I highly encourage anyone in the Fitness industry to add Conflux to their regular maintenance and replace Chiropracters with them (I can never give up massages!). The team at Conflux are professional, the therapy rooms are clean and modern - and overall just amazing support in my journey back to Fitness.

I've had back issues for years and when my lower back went out recently, my friend had suggested I see Mike here. I had gone to urgent care first, but was not taken seriously- the doctor there made me feel bad and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. I wish I had just seen Mike and avoided the horrible bedside manner at urgent care. Mike did a very thorough exam and listened to me.

I felt better instantly after his care, he had a good attitude and I felt comfortable. Where's the 6th star?! PT clinic AND CrossFit gym in the same building is incredible.

I am proud to call Mill Creek CrossFit my home gym. A great community, nice clean space, 2 bathrooms with showers, plenty of equipment, and coaches who are experts of movement which gives them the ability to scale or change ANY movement or workout to an individuals needs. Whether being new to CrossFit, seasoned/salty vet, coming back from an injury or some other form of setback, Jim and Mike can help you get the fitness you're after.

I have no shortage of good things to say about Conflux. Having Conflux Rehab at the same place is exponentially helpful. As someone who likes to resolve potential issues BEFORE they become injuries (I like to call it PREhab) I've been seen by both Dr. Jim and Dr. Mike on many occasions. Their knowledge base, critical thinking, and ability to get to the root of the real issue, are all astounding. They have a real passion for helping people who want to get better, and it shows. Jim Shepherd is a true master at what he does. Jim's knowledge of the human body is astounding. Jim has helped me heal a lifelong neck instability with simple exercises that I do at home. He has treated me for hip pain and with his recommendations for movements for me to do at home, I am back to regular exercise. Jim is compassionate. There is no judgement. You do not feel that you have to be a super star athlete when you go to his clinic, which is beautiful, by the way. He always has such helpful insights to what is going on with my anatomy. As a woman, 60 years of age, my fitness goal is to stay as strong as possible while dealing with some issues stemming from osteoporosis and fibromyalgia. Jim is helping me address these issues so that I can continue to do yoga, go running, enjoy medium difficult hikes this summer and just enjoy being physical and working out to stay strong. I am very grateful to have found Jim Shepherd to guide me through some difficult issues. After seeing multiple physical therapists, and even an orthopedic surgeon, about my constant knees pain...I was blessed to find Jim Shepherd!

After a very comprehensive and thorough evaluation followed by a few informative sessions, Jim referred me to the perfect surgeon who performed minor surgery on both my knees to help correct my non-ideal anatomy after I had been told by the first surgeon that I should just give up all the activities I love! As an avid endurance athlete who thought I needed to spend hours a week in the gym to stay fit, he was able to educate me on the advantages of short intense workouts that are actually easier on my knees and would get me better results.

I have now been doing CrossFit for 4 years. In that time I have had two babies and worked out until a couple of days before both their births. I am in the best shape of maybe my entire life. I have gone to Jim about postpartum wrist and hip issues. And now he is helping my prepare for a 4 day hiking adventure in Italy this summer!

He is so knowledgeable, but more than anything, he is so very passionate about the human body and how it works. You will not find a more dedicated physical therapist! Thank you Jim Shepherd!

Dr. Mike has helped me through multiple back injuries and through knee pain recently and has always been professional and accommodating to my needs and has given me alternative movements when I was unable to perform the recommended movement. This is the best place in mill creek if you are looking for a Crossfit gym and/or physical therapy.

The first thing you notice when you walk in is the attention to detail. I've been Crossfitting for 5+ years and like to visit new gyms when I am traveling from Denver or visiting family & friends. Conflux is one of the diamonds in the rough.

The space is clean and has great equipment. I was immediately welcomed by Jim, one of the owners, who is also a knowledgeable PT and skilled Crossfit coach. Jim gave me some personal tips for my lifting; insightful feedback that I appreciate. He's got a long background in rehabbing Crossfit athletes and years of experience helping people live a healthy, active life!

The workout out was solid, Jim even tweaked it a little for what I was looking for. I could imagine him appropriately scaling the workout movements for newcomers or athletes with injury. The gym has a cool customizable layout with a couple of rigs and lots of floor space. It even has two bathrooms with showers!

Mill Creek Crossfit has everything you look for in a good gym. If I was living in the PNW, I would gladly call it home base, but I look forward to returning soon!
