I was upsold on a $49 starter kit that included three weeks of unlimited classes and a beginner workshop. When I signed up, I mentioned I had a trip coming up, and the staff member assured me that my three-week period wouldn’t begin until I booked my first class.
However, after returning and finally having time to book, I discovered that my starter kit had already begun on the day I purchased it. I reached out via text and email to get clarification, but I haven’t received any response for over a week.

There were some miscommunications, the account would be deactivated if I didn't use it for 60 days and now I can restart ! Thank you for the follow up :)

I took an intro class with Patty and was very impressed with the space. I’m a high ceiling lover! The bathroom was a little interesting to get to, but the snacks and amazing vibes of staff and students made up for it! For a hot natured gal I need to be in front of the fan next time since it can get a little warm during class. All in all I would come back!

I love Flight Room, and especially the Ballard location! In particular, I wanted to give a shout-out to Alexandra for being a wonderful teacher. She works you hard, but keeps things super fun, and every time I've had a question after class she's given me really valuable feedback and recommendations. I just love her classes!

I love flight room! The variety of locations, classes and teachers with very different styles has always allowed me to find a perfect fit no matter what season I am in in my personal life and fitness journey. They have always been considerate and offer great deals at various points of the year.

Such an amazing community and studios. They have a variety of classes, from barre to dance and flow. Very convenient locations and schedules. I would suggest to plan to arrive around 10 min early to pick your hammock and adjust it with no rush. <3

Flight Room Seattle has really shifted not only my body but also my mind over the last 4 months. After a series of injuries resulted in becoming guarded and immobile Flight Room Seattle has helped me gain both the confidence, strength, and mental fortitude to live on the edge of my body between where I think I can go and to the reality of how far I can go. The instructors are kind, patient, and playful. All the studios are unique and have their nuances- explore and find which one calls to you.
I hope you open your mind to give it a chance because it truly is remarkable.

I started going to Flight Room earlier this year and absolutely love it. A very positive community with wonderful teachers and really fun classes for all levels. I recommend it to all my friends. The Ballard location is great because there’s a parking lot in front of the studio (although the spaces are teeny tiny!).

My 1 star review is the result of Grace R. terrible customer service skills. My friend and I were in town on a work trip and was SUPER excited to try a Zen Flight: Level 1 class. Unfortunately, we were unable to due to tardiness by 2 minutes due to improper signage.
I understand upon booking it says allot extra time for uncontrollable factors such as traffic, parking, etc. However, what this business can control is having their ‘Flight Room’ sign illuminated! This location shares the building space with at least 4 other business, all of which had well lit signs that I’m sure helps their paying customers locate them. After struggling to locate Flight Room in the dark, we were two minute late and met with a locked door.
My friend and I were in the common area feeling really disappointed that we were late. Seeing she was teaching 1 other student, we were hoping that we would eventually get Grace’s attention, whispering amongst our self discussing a plan of action. After about 12 minutes, Grace walks over to the door and very rudely says “The building is hollow so we can hear you and it’s very distracting.” Here I would like to reiterate that there was only 1 student in the class that we would be joining.
We expressed that we paid for the class asking if we were able to come in. She said there is a strict no late policy. This led me to ask “Is it possible for us to reschedule?” Again, very rudely she says “I’m the only one here, I’m teaching a class so there isn’t anything I can do for you. You can try emailing and potentially reschedule and avoid a late fee.” At that point my friend and I just walked away because clearly Grace did not feel zen and was unable to communicate with customers effectively.
If there are strict rules around tardiness, this business should invest in getting better signage and/or provide descriptions on how to locate the establishment along with the policy. Grace should also seek out how to develop her customer service skills as she was very rude and not welcoming or apologetic.

This is a really sad review for me to write. I have gone here for a year and a half, and recently got an email about my behavior in class, namely the fact that I cried and it disrupted the other students. I was confused and hurt because 1. I don’t want to cry during a fitness class, it’s not a choice I consciously make. I expend a ton of effort to hide any tears. and 2. I’m shocked that others saw a person crying and complained to the studio about it. I asked to discuss the matter so we could find some common ground and move forward with mutual safety and understanding, but was denied. Furthermore, I was told I take too many breaks during class and check my phone too much. I have type one diabetes and Hashimoto’s disease, which means that I have to step out to take breaks and also I use technology to check my blood sugar during class. They claim to structure classes so people can do movements and go at a pace that is safe for them, but I am not able to safely take care of my chronic illnesses during class. I would have liked to have more discussion about this before departing. I asked about potential solutions and didn’t even receive any feedback about that, only that they want me to keep coming to classes. This studio doesn’t embody the spirit of yoga. I am crushed.
Edit: I would be happy to show the full conversation to any inquiring minds. This place has indelibly damaged my relationship with group fitness classes.

This was the only flight room location I hadn’t been to yet and I’m not sure why I waited so long! I appreciate the smaller class sizes at this location, and the parking lot is really convenient. Great instructors too, but that’s a given for Flight Room!

Im colocated yogi. Instructor was solid except for calling Taylor Swift our lord and savior. Not sure when the hammocks were last cleaned, they did not smell fresh... Wanted to pay cash to avoid spam. Told e-payment only and to contact info@. Now, Flight Yoga spams me every 1-2 days with junk. Blocking hasnt worked. I sent message to info@ 3 times and never received a response. Wont be back.
To response. Emails sent Dec 7, 11 and 12. Yep, my first email applauded instructor and was repeated in review. Can you please stop spamming me?

I wanted to challenge myself and took hard classes.I loved Oksana teaching .I have been loyal to come every Saturday and Sunday Taking back to back classes. I came to take areal shortly after I was in a accident that left my legs and pelvic broken.I have done alot of self healing thru you and blog about how much the studio means to me.I feel the instructors in some advanced classes were.not completely clear about challenges ahead. If you are looking to do areal do not come here as the instructors dont like to come and show you how to do certain moves correctly so as not to hurt yourself.I found this difficult.Patty was very hard to fallow.I found myself constantly looking to see what position she was in. I suggestq 1on 1 classes. This was not offered at ballard studio. I also want to share that Morgan wanted to do chotagraphy with the class. Not what i signed up for.It took the flight out of flight room.We were not doing much areal. So disappoint

My happy place! Very clean studio with a good amount of hammocks for free movement, complimentary snacks, water and even hair elastics (a small but such a thoughtful thing!) Many thanks to all the amazing teachers! There is no words to express how fun, challenging, but yet satisfying all the classes are! You will see progress, build strength, flexibility and enjoy every moment in the studio. Classes for all levels and needs. One more prof they are awesome: I have another studio membership for another activity, but ended up moving from drop off classes to monthly and then to 3-month unlimited membership - Jen just knows how to promote and sell good product :) Their respect of people’s time and health mirrors in no-late and cancellation policies (please keep this in mind, reed them carefully - I personally like the policies, but some people may wish for more flexible ways) Tons of other offerings for members such as photo sessions, retreats, series. Check out all their locations to pick the one you like best.

I adore flight room! I followed Alexandra here from another local gym and it's been a great decision! Her classes are so fun (incredibly difficult some days but fun) and she's very funny. I've taken a couple classes with other instructors as well and always had an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

When I think of Flight Room, I think "variety". There is a great group of instructors, each with their own ways of teaching the many, many different uses of the hammocks. I never get bored with the classes, and they are always adding new things to try. I love the support from the people who are there to teach and learn. I started with a Groupon over two years ago and quickly transitioned to annual membership. There are a variety of options available to take classes, and a variety of locations too. If you are looking for something new to engage your mind, body and spirit, Flight Room may be the place for you.

I ADORE the Flight Room. I came in with no experience and was very nervous about trying aerial yoga. All of the instructors are so encouraging, patient, and fun. They helped me build my skills and confidence, inspiring me to try more and believing in me when I didn't believe in myself. Huge shout-outs to Alexandra (always my biggest cheerleader and endless source of support ), Oksana, and Julianne. The entire Flight Crew is wonderful. I highly recommend aerial yoga at Flight Room - it helped me get creative, get active, build community, all while having an amazing time!

Really love going here! I get bored or irritated with most exercise classes but I keep wanting to come back and do more. Alexandra’s a great instructor for building strength, getting your energy up, and laughing. Julianne is amazing at breaking down the basics that make challenging moves or poses less intimidating. Oksana is great at managing providing challenges while also reminding you to care for your body within those challenges. Love going to y’all’s classes and the unique take y’all provide!

Wonderful way to exercise while having fun! The in-person studio has been great about keeping to COVID standards, and I can't rave enough about their online options! They have some free trials, so go ahead and give it a go. I love how many classes they offer, from fitness on the mat, to dance and flow in the hammocks. I thought I would just take a few classes and move on to the next interesting thing, but I am hooked for life now and have a hammock hanging in my home so I can take the online classes.
