Tried to get a racket strung here and was originally told it would take 1-2 days. A week and 3 visits later, it still wasn't done and I was given the run around each time. Disappointing experience.

The coaches are pretty good but the other workers are kinda stuck up and snootyand some of the people who play there aren't very nice either

Very good facility, with excellent courts. Six courts have an excellent surface, and excellent lighting, and the lights fire upwards, not down in your eyes. Ceiling is a pretty good height with minimal obstructions. Back curtains are in great shape and have a few feet of space behind them. Viewing area is elevated, carpeted, with a few tables and chairs, cushioned benches, and TV monitors for each court. Pro shop has a small selection of grips and strings, etc. Bathrooms are clean, but not very large - just enough room for a small bench and small area to change in. It would be great if they had a small shower. Nets were a little beat up on multiple courts, with holes near the top, no big deal.

Coach Michael is honestly one of the best coaches I’ve seen in all my sporting life. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Facility is excellent and always in top shape.

We have a young player and came to GTC (Galbraith Tennis Center) in Tacoma on 03/05 for greenball circuit match. During one of the matches, it was still 30:40, the judge said the it was game. My child, 10 year old girl, stood up to the judge claiming it was not game yet but the judge just rudely ignored her fair and square complain. Later my husband appealed to Josh Pinyerd, the tournament director in GTC, yet the cold response we got was the game was over and over is over. My daughter is very disappointed.

Instead of promoting good values to the young tennis players and build values to their own image, the GTC tennis center and the tournament director showed ignorance to the very important sports value of fairness and honesty.

I urge usta not to let them hold any usta tennis match play in the future. I don’t think GTC and Josh Pinyerd are qualified!

It’s a beautiful tennis facility but it does not end there. I was visiting from out of town and I dropped in on 3 classes for adult drill and skills. The level of tennis and organization of the classes were excellent and the instructors as well as players were welcoming and friendly. If you live in this area you are lucky to have access to this place , if you are visiting definitely drop in to play, they have loaner rackets for you if you didn’t bring yours.

Great staff. Nice & new facility. Their drills and lesson are very good. Coaches are great and good players gather. I got to play with great level of players at drills and it was great experience.

Great new tennis facility. They have 6 indoor courts. Very well done. No expense was spared on the surface. Nicole, the manager, is a pleasure to work with. Definitely a needed addition to the Tacoma tennis seen.
