We love Goldfish Swim School! We’ve only ever heard great things about them before they opened up the Mill Creek location so when they announced that a new location was coming, we signed up immediately and have been members since their opening in summer 2024. My son has been going since he was 3 and he has made great progress from his weekly lessons at Goldfish. The instructors are amazing with children, the facility is clean and beautiful with beach vibes, and communication is easy. I also like it that you can reschedule a class if needed. Some places don’t allow this at all, so this flexibility is a huge plus for me as I would hate to lose out on a paid lesson if my kid is sick. We’ll be coming here for a while! So glad to have them in the Mill Creek area!

My 9-year-old had no swimming experience before, and now, after 6 months, she can swim at least 20 feet! We signed up for two lessons per week in Glider 1. The staff are nice and friendly, and I really like how easy it is to request an excused absence and schedule a makeup class. The only downside is that there are only 12 makeup classes allowed per year. If a family signs up for more than one lesson per week, can that number be multiplied? For example, if one lesson per week allows 12 makeup classes, would two lessons per week allow 24 makeup classes? That way, I wouldn’t have to worry about reaching the makeup limit when signing up for more weekly classes.

Love this school- big shout out to Emma and Fatima who are always so great. They are so good at keeping the kids hyped up and excited to learn. The facilities are fantastic, the teachers do an excellent job, and the confidence and preparedness they've taught has ensured my child's ability to swim safely. Everyone there has been helpful and kind and I'm so glad we chose this swim school!

The facility is wonderful. The staff is so great with kids. The classes are very helpful. I really want to suggest that they all parents to limit guests who come. Seating is very limited and when families are bringing four people each it can be very hard to sit anywhere near your kids.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at this goldfish swim school! From day one, the customer service has been excellent, always polite, professional, and welcoming. We’re always greeted with a smile, and the facility is clean, well-maintained, and clearly run with care.
In just two months, my daughter has learned so much and grown more confident in the water, all thanks to her amazing instructor, Ms. Bella H. She is professional, patient, and always brings such positive energy to every class. My daughter absolutely adores her and is constantly talking about how much she loves swim class!

They ring a bell and clap when someone graduates to the next level. This is fine and all but they should offer a class / time blocking that parents with sensory sensitive children can book. My son is scared to go back due to the bell and when we brought it up they just said that’s thier SOP.

They reccomenned ear plugs but of course didn’t have any.

Rebuttal - person who responded said they had earplugs, they did not in fact have any ear plugs on hand when we asked and said we were SOL. They mentioned a quieter time, we come it at 4pm right when they open, would love to see what other times are quieter other than RIGHT WHEN THEY OPEN, aka the FIRST CLASS.

We’ve been with Goldfish Swim School Mill Creek since they opened last summer, and it’s been a fantastic experience. The staff are always encouraging. They go above and beyond to make sure the kids are having fun while also making real progress. I’ve seen multiple times where instructors thoughtfully adjusted the class (without affecting other students learning ) to give my daughter extra practice on areas she needed to improve—rather than just sticking rigidly to the class plan. My daughter absolutely loves Goldfish, and so do we!

We like the relatively warmer water here at the pool. Quite a few female instructors are available for girls. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Most importantly, all of them have locked doors option and thus privacy is protected. I like the overall environment and encourage others who care for modesty in kids learning space.

I had some confusion in regards to lessons remaining and package purchased. Genesis, the assistant manager was very professional and didn't lose smile on her face throughout a lengthy conversation. Also other assistant manager Sean, has been always thorough and helpful for any questions I had for Zion. Zion went from glider 2-pro2 here, learned tons and will be joining a competitive swim team this summer. Thanks to all goldfish instructors! I will surely be back with my youngest Max in 6 months to start another swim journey 😀

My girls LOVE Goldfish, Mill Creek! The staff, the facility, the amenities are wonderful! They look forward to swimming every week. My little one just moved from Mini classes to Junior 1 and struggled quite a bit her first class but the lifeguards and swim instructors were fabulous with her and let her lead the way! I would highly recommend signing your kids up here if you live in the Mill Creek/Everett/Bothell/Snohomish area. We make the drive from Snohomish with zero regrets!

We love Goldfish Swim School-Mill Creek! Our daughter has been attending lessons every Wednesday for almost a year now and we are so happy. We tried other places in the past and did not like how other age groups were there and that it just wasn’t a dedicated children’s swim school. At Goldfish, they are really centered around families and that is what we love most about it. They also just added family swim which has been my husbands favorite! We missed mini lessons with our daughter when she was a baby so we use family swim as an opportunity for my husband and daughter to bond together and share their love of swimming together! Goldfish Mill Creek is a great place for little ones to learn! Even when they rotate teachers sometimes, all of them are very patient and go above and beyond to convince the kids to get into the water and learned. The team at Goldfish Mill Creek are truly amazing! From the moment I walked in, it was clear that everyone is genuinely happy to work there, and their positive energy is contagious. I want to give an exclusive shoutout to ALEX – he is wonderful!

Tonight, I arrived at closing time because my daughter had lost an item that is very dear to me. Not only did they allow me to come in, but they also went above and beyond to help me find it. It turned out the item had fallen into the pool, and although Alex initially tried to fish it out, he didn’t stop there. He proactively changed back into his swimming suit and jumped in to retrieve it for me!

There were also two other employees who were incredibly friendly and helpful, though I didn’t catch their names. Their kindness and team spirit made the entire experience even more memorable.

I am truly in awe of Alex’s kindness and the wonderful service from the entire team. This level of care is something you don’t come across every day. Goldfish Mill Creek has gained a lifelong fan.

We started bringing our 20 month old here recently because we wanted him to get more socialized and he loves the water. If he learns from it, wonderful. If not, he’s still enjoying his time and getting exposed to other kids.

The staff is wonderful and supportive. They are so sweet to our Benji and make us feel welcomed each time.

We greatly appreciate their cancellation policy that gives credits if missing a day. It’s cold and flu season and we can’t seem to beat it but knowing we can come back when he is well gives us some relief.

Also, someone else complained of their staff being young. I really don’t think that matters as long as they’re trained and they seem to be very invested in the kids wellbeing and that’s what matters.

Our children love going to Goldfish! Our daughter was still very scared of the water at 8 years old before starting swim lesson this fall. She now loves the water and has progressed well. Our son has moved up to the third level over the last 4 months and he loves it. The staff and instructors are so professional and energetic. We love the structure and order of the classes and the parent talks at the end of each class. The ribbons and prizes are an extra motivating factor for the kids. We highly recommend this place.

I like that this location is new and most of the things are clean. However, the classes itself and teachers could be so much better for the price they charge. My daughter is 4 years old and every time on her class, they change teachers and have “new students” they don’t want go in the water and then the other kids need to just watch and not swim while the teacher needs to convince the new student to go in the water. This cycle is repeats every weekend, and it’s ridiculous to me. For the price we pay and not teaching the students properly. They should have one open lane for “new students “ just so they can adapt in the water or with the new teacher/class and etc. Also, most of times there is no shampoo/soap in the bathrooms. And the most annoying thing for me, it’s the windows that are always dirty and we cannot take pictures or videos properly. I see often the front desk with 3-4 people talking or browsing on their phones. Why they don’t just come and clean first thing in the morning or during breaks? This is so important for parents to have those kids’s memories. I hope someone from management can read this feedback and make improvements. Thanks

This place is a scam. You are essentially paying high schoolers to babysit your kid in a pool for 30 minutes at a time. The instruction is not focused on development because the business has a vested interest in keeping you coming back every week. My child was in the “program” for several months of classes and she learned almost nothing, apart from some confidence in putting her head in the water, which is some progress I suppose.

30 minutes for 4 kids to share one instructor is too short for my kids to make any meaningful improvements. You are paying for 30 minute lessons every week and you don’t even get the full 30 minutes, more like 25 minutes. It’s not worth the investment, spend your money elsewhere.

For a brand new facility I expected it to be cleaner and nearly spotless. Showers have clumps of hair on the floor. This isn’t the cheapest place, I expected better. they also have poor customer service. It’s rare that someone picks up the phone or even returns your voicemail. Even through email they are not helpful whatsoever. Will probably return to lessons at lynnwood pool. No drowning prevention classes for infants which was also disappointing from a specialized corporation

I wish I could say better about Goldfish, but honestly my expectations haven’t been met. We signed our infant up for classes and have been customers for almost a year now (at another location but moved here since it’s more convenient). We thought the classes would teach Infant Safety but I do not feel confident after all this time that our daughter would know what to do if she fell into a pool. The teachers, all high schoolers, aren’t well-trained to give you tips on what to do beyond any basic instruction. I know not everyone is a swimmer but I would prefer swim instructors who actually have swim background/experience like at the lynnwood rec center since their instructors aren’t knowledgeable or well-trained to teach The Mini 1 and Mini 2 classes are exactly the same except the babies are older. We expected that they would be at least slightly different or more advanced but sadly that’s not the case. While the makeup class policy is decent (if you let them know in advance you can get a credit for another class), it’s really hard and a bit unreasonable to bring an INFANT to swim class EVERY week.

Goldfish Swim School in Mill Creek is seriously top notch! Their front desk staff is always super friendly and helpful. The instructors are so great interacting with the little ones. Lifeguards are constantly scanning the pool. The deck supervisors are so attentive when my little one didn’t want to get in the water and Toby even sat with her for the majority of her class so she would feel comfortable. All the instructors are great and I highly recommended Goldfish to others!

Both of my kids go to Goldfish and they love it. Focused, attentive, capable instructors with lots of lifeguards and support staff. Honestly, this is the type of swimming lessons I've been waiting for! We've tried other lessons, but the water was usually a bit chilly, the class sizes a bit large, and the changing rooms a struggle. Goldfish has addressed all of that. The water is super warm, the class sizes are small, and there are tons of large family changing rooms and other amenities that make the showering/changing process very easy. I have two kiddos in lessons together, and one is an eager swimmer while the other is quite fearful. The instructors do a great job of giving each of them the unique attention they need and being patient/encouraging. The kids like the little prizes they have from time to time, and they even gave my kiddo a birthday ribbon when they recognized (without any involvement on our part) that his birthday was in a few days. I think the price is very reasonable given all the benefits. The location is convenient as well with lots of parking and places to walk to afterwards for a treat/snack. Totally recommend!
