Lisa is amazing. I’m down 40 pounds and I didn’t want to lose momentum but I injured my finger to where I couldn’t bend it. 3 stitches and basically turned it into hamburger. I came to her desperate for ideas to keep my finger safe but not lose my momentum.

This girl took me through exercises that taught me so much more mind to muscle control and I’m so grateful for her!

I’ve been going to this gym since 2023, and I’ve always thought that this gym had excellent staff until quite recently. Whoever the young lady is who has recently started working here, not sure if it is her first job, is very unprofessional. I’ve noticed each time I come to work out she is either following around and giggling with whatever group of men or boys are present and not doing her job, or just allows random men or boys to be behind the desk as if they are employed here when they are not. They do not acknowledge your presence when behind the desk whatsoever so this isn’t a good look because they are sitting where an employee should be when they are not and being disrespectful. Whoever this young lady is needs more training on being professional at work because she spends her entire shift flirting with the males at this gym and treating it like school when it is her job.

I actually enjoy this gym, it's clean and the staff are very enjoyable to talk with. The only thing that I had an issue with is that my favorite trainer doesn't work there anymore which I understand but his workouts really motivated me and pushed me to my limits. Other than that I have gotten my other veteran battle buddies to come in as well. I hope this gym sticks around and doesn't close up like other gyms have.

I've been going here since 2017 and the owner has continued to improve it and bring in new equipment. On top of that while most gyms shut down they remained open in 2020 when I needed it the most and I'll never forget it.

Graham Fitness is a great gym that offers affordable memberships. The owner Mike has created a positive and uplifting environment to workout in. The gym is well kept and clean. The trainers are very knowledgeable get amazing results with all of the clients they work with. I highly recommend this gym.

This is a pretty decent gym. For the size of the gym they managed to squeeze a little bit of everything into the space they are working with and not have crowding become an issue even during times when it's fairly busy. They do get a crowd of teenagers in there at nite, sometimes you mite have to wait a bit longer because some of them get sidetracked on there phones 🤣. But for the most part they are all regulars and serious about their workouts. For me the little wait times are no big deal. Once you get on a piece of equipment it is yours, I like that, I've never been rushed or pressured over the amount of time I take, And I've always been able to find something to do if my next go to was unavailable.

The only problems I've had at this gym are.
#1. The digital scale hasn't worked for months. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk and she said she would pass it on to management but nothing has been done about it. For me this is a quick fix the scale that they have there only cost around 20 bucks. You could get one nicer than that for the same price at Costco. Not sure why they still have it out being fully aware that it doesn't work. Also they have a metal stand on scale, this scale has seen better days. It only cost a little bit of money to have those things serviced and working properly, so it would be nice if the two free scales that they have their were working and up to standards.
#2. There is only a couple bathrooms. So you might end up waiting to use the restroom.
#3. Ventilation, that is air going out , and fresh air coming in. This gym is relatively small square footage wise , and would not take an excessively expensive intake outtake ventilation system to keep the air fresh inside the gym at all times.It can get pretty ripe in there. A couple of times the smell was so intense I skipped my workout. I mentioned it to the girls behind the counter, just suggesting maybe open the doors and let some fresh air in for a few minutes, Maybe she didn't believe me because she was used to the smell and couldn't smell it like I did but she decided to leave the doors closed, so I finished my workout as fast as I could and got out of there.
This gym has 3,000 Plus members paying dues monthly. There should be enough money to keep equipment functioning properly, and for proper ventilation. I will continue to use this gym because for me one star or five star doesn't really matter because it's a gym not a restaurant, I'm not eating there I'm just working out. But I wanted to give an honest review for the management so they can I have some honest feedback from their patrons, and also for anybody thinking about getting a membership. I hope everybody can benefit from my review.

Update. 4 months later and the digital scale still has not been replaced. It either does not work or it reads out your way incorrectly..
I've heard people say that they stay at this gym because this guy stayed open during the pandemic. I have a suspicion that he didn't do this for the benefit of his customers he did this because he needed to keep bringing in money. He must be hurting pretty bad to not have enough money to replace a scale so it makes sense that he would have to stay open when he was told not to. I only have a few more months left on my membership and I will be going to another gym after that.

Lots of machines, friendly staff at a very reasonable $ but it is older, and a smaller space for all the equipment jammed in it, sometimes machines can sit out of order for a bit and it could use better ventilation to keep
the air fresher. They have child care on-site and they're a pretty family friendly business. They used to be affiliated with fitness 19 but I'm not sure why that partnership ended. At times there are crowds around some machines socializing and That can get a little frustrating.

They pissed me off. They're a gym that tries to get as much of ur money as possible. I've had a membership here for almost 2 yrs and trained maybe a maximum of 10 times. I stopped going here but kept paying. Eventually the card on file got shutdown. Instead of canceling the membership, like most gyms, they started adding late fees and whatnot and threatening to put me on collections. I've had many gym memberships over the yrs and never had this before. They make it difficult for u to cancel ur membership on purpose. U have to come in and sign a form in person. And on top of that it's a small gym. Barely any equipment

I would not recommend Graham Fitness to anyone who values their dignity and peace of mind. I had a horrible encounter with one of their employees, who publicly humiliated me in front of everyone and played it off like she did nothing wrong. She mocked me for telling her to leave me alone and stop harassing me. I felt unsafe and uncomfortable at this gym, and I decided to cancel my membership immediately. The management did not seem to care about my complaint or apologize for the employee’s behavior. They also have poor customer service, as I was hardly ever greeted even when there was staff at the front desk. The only good thing about this gym is the equipment, but that is not enough to make up for the terrible treatment I received. Graham Fitness is a disgrace to the fitness industry and should be avoided at all costs.

This place is great for the price of their monthly membership and also have affordable childcare while you workout.

Only downfall is the space is very small, and if you want to do any circuits or not wait for equipment go at off times when it’s not busy. Also most of the equipment is older, but again great prices for the memberships.

Also kids can workout at the age of 12 , so that is nice for families.

Update:Graham Fitness addressed the situation. I do enjoy working out in this gym. I have never had any other issues. I have adjusted my review as I believe my concern was handled well. Original post:Tried to get my daughter a week free pass they offer. They asked if she was going to join and I said no. They would not give her the pass and offered a day pass at $13. No discount for me being a member. I have been a member for two plus years. What gym doesn't let you bring a guest on occasion. I guess I'm in the market for a new gym.

Hands down the most garbage gym in the area, majority of its regulars are quite rude and the other time it’s filled with ego lifting high schoolers. The worst part is how scammy it is. I'm not complaining about the space, but if you go anytime around 5 PM it's insanely packed and hard to find equipment. I never go at that time, so choose your time wisely.

Other than that, would definitely recommend! It has a good "I want to work harder" atmosphere about it if that's what you're looking for, unlike some of the big brand gyms.

Went to this gym a couple years ago and had to terminate my contract when I moved to Shelton. Fast forward to today and they've sent me to collections stating I never ended my membership. For over a year they called me and sent me letters with deals to sign back up. I gave them my new address when I terminated my membership in writing which is where they sent all the letters. It appears they’ve hit hard times and I would not recommend doing business with them.

I love this gym! We have been coming here since we moved here in fall of 2019. The workers are friendly and helpful. I love the fact it’s smaller but still has a wide arrangement of equipment. Those trainers are pretty bomb too!

This is an awesome gym! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and keep the place very clean (even the bathroom is always spotless!) my kids love the kids room and actually hate to leave haha the new machines are awesome and for the most part, all the members wipe down their machines when they’re done. I love being a member here!

Definitely a smaller gym, but I have been attending since 2007, and it is a great atmosphere. The trainers are all great people, and the place is spotless. Mike the owner is a great guy, and he just got done replacing nearly every machine in the entire gym. This is a great place to work out. Not an LA fitness, but you also arent paying LA fitness prices and dealing with LA fitness people.

Great rate and great hours. Plenty of equipment. I go early in the morning and have never had an issue finding free equipment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Olivia is an amazing trainer listening to your goals developing a work out plan that works for you and your limitations. All the patrons have been polite and courteous. I have not felt uncomfortable working out by myself.

Workers are nice great. Very small place no extras. To cancel membership it's ridiculous.They can't postmark a date and you have to go in personally. If you go in any earlier than the exact date of your contract they'll charge you $50 cancellation fee even if you haven't been going for over 9 months and they can see that on the computer but you've been paying your monthly dues. Staff should be more accommodating and allowed me to sign the cancellation notice even if it didn't take effect untill8 days from when I went in. I purposely even called them prior to me driving out of my way cuz I no longer live in the city. They definitely should work on their cancellation procedures and sign up procedure even adding if its just a fax would go a long way.

This place is Great, I usually go in the Morning not so many people there, Mike the Owner/Mangier is also great, helpful with Diet tips and sometimes exercise tips, I went for about 6 months a couple years ago and now waiting for Black Friday to sign up again, The Staff seems knowledgeable and I plan to sign up for some coaching this time too, I tried one of the big ones in between times and felt like a Rat on a wheel.

Pretty basic gym, could use another squat rack but I've yet to see anyone squat, so maybe not. It's got everything you'd need to get started. Environment is a lot more motivating than anytime fitness or LA fitness in my opinion. I've seen very few people sit and play on their phones. That's a big plus for me.

Graham Fitness is your basic gym, with no frills; however, it is always clean and the staff is friendly. Some equipment could be replaced/updated, but they have plenty of variety there for all your workout and fitness needs. Membership fees are very affordable for even the tightly-budgeted. While here, I don't feel judged or like I'm working out in the "meat-market" scene, as can be true of other big-name facilities. I enjoy coming here and would recommend.

So before when i thought this gym was amazing i was going at 7:30. I had to start going later. So i realized the trainers just have attitudes, they dont care and the hour im there you Will only see them walk in and sit in the office. Im there for an hour and not one trainer to be seen. If you go anytime after 12 the entire environment changes. There is about 3 groups of guys that will just stare at you and if you have head phones in they will make in appropriate comments. I only know because my boyfriend over heard them make a comment about me. The days i have to go later i just dont go. Again the trainers just dont care. The only reason they have 2 stars is because the one trainer that is there is amazing and some of the older people (that go in the morning) are so sweet. In other words in if you dont care and the environment doesnt matter then this is a great gym.

I can’t stand the trainers at this place. The gym owner/manager and his buddies walk around this gym like they are gods gift to the gym gods. They are pathetic. I have seen them take over an area to do their workouts even if other members are already using that area/equipment. My job allows me to workout with real personal trainers/strength coaches 5 days a week each morning. I would come to this place if I missed a morning workout or to do a second workout in the evening. Just because they have an online personal trainer certificate doesn’t mean they understand the first thing about stength trainng and overall fitness strategies. Don’t waste your time at this place, its way overrated and very crowded.

I wanted to sign up for the black Friday deal today (I like to support the small businesses if possible). The two salespeople I talked to today explained the black Friday deal was not under a contract. Even the flyer they gave me said nothing about a contract. When Mike, the manager, called me back to go over payment and paperwork he pulled a bait & switch and changed it to require a contract. I didn't sign up and don't know if I want to support a company that will not honor what their sales people tell you. Terrible customer service and he belittled me as a potential customer. I don't even want to think about the hoops I'd have to jump through if I had to cancel this service.

UPDATE: my MALE friend called in and complained and the owner/manager Mike called him back. After telling him he should be ashamed of not honoring his salespeople's deals he finally gave in and said he didn't want to give me the deal because of my "attitude" .. ? ...I was way nicer and kinder but firm on what I was told than my MALE friend was. I'll let u make the connection. We Will see when I go in on Monday to fill out the paperwork.. I'll update then!😳

I love this gym and highly recommend this to anyone who hates the globo gyms and is dedicated to fitness. It's a wonderful place friendly staff and enough equipment and weights for all levels of fitness. I gave 4 stars because there's always room for improvement. 2 suggestions. 1. Rent out the vacant room next to yours and move cardio there. 2. A sauna. Love this gym. Great price. And great vibes!

My husband and I love this gym. We're thrilled with the amount of equipment we get to use. Everything is in good shape and the facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and will always answer questions at any time. The people who attend this gym are wonderful as well! We have met the nicest people. It's great to be around so many types of people of different ages and sizes. I've never felt self conscious there. I've already gained more stamina and muscles in just four months than working out at our old gym for years. Plus we're paying a lot less in monthly fees.

I really like this gym. Have been a member for over a year. Lockers for your stuff and a good-sized area to do your floor workout and stretching. Good variety of equipment. They do have steppers but I wish they had a Stairmaster ( which is my only complaint). Don't care about no showers there as I would never use them anyway. I only live a couple miles away. All in all a good gym at a reasonable price.

Loved this gym then it went threw management stuff and went down hill. We didn't attend the gym for a few month due to family issues and hadn't paid (yes our fault I know) however called to set up a day to catch back up and we had an agreement and they went and pulled the money over a week before then forgot to pull a month from that and didn't even contact me, then the next month just took it out on their own very unprofessional. Used to love coming here but the atmosphere has changed so much. Bummed for sure.
