About the Club

Henry's Gymnasium is the BEST new gym in Capitol Hill, Seattle.

We disrupted the traditional gym model to give modern gym goers what they want… affordable and accessible fitness luxury.

Henry’s DNA is to disrupt the current gym offerings found in Seattle. A new breed of gym designed around a new type of user, one who values a luxurious gym experience, but at an affordable price.

A hybrid gym that isn’t just a place to exercise, but a somewhere to socialize, relax, and play. We marry a gym, nightclub, and museum to create a one-of-a-kind gym to get fit, focus on recovery, celebrate, and create community.

I wish I had toured the gym. I signed up online for a tour and received a phone call 5 minutes later from a very nice person. They explained to me that the only way to receive discount pricing was to sign up during the tour. I expressed that this was the first gym that I wanted to tour and they recommended that I save them for the last and even told me the names of other gyms in the area to try first. I am a resident of 20 years in the area who was ready for a change from using my home gym. I am glad they called me as it confirmed using my home gym is best for me. I will not continue my search for gyms in the area as this confirmed inquiries come with an emotional cost.
Review Edit 12/1/25: I received a call today from Jaea, we both had a laugh when she said (paraphrased) I wrote the most positive one star review, and thanked me for my positivity. She reached out to see if I’d be willing to give the conversation a second chance. I am thankful that I said yes. An hour and a half later we had the most lovely conversation sitting in a beautiful comfortable area with great music in the background. Her excitement radiated as she asked if I would be interested in her showing me all the favorite things that she just loves about the gym. Her passion was really beautiful and inspiring to see. It is quite obvious why she is the assistant general manager. I’m not familiar with gyms or the gym culture. So I can’t speak to how they work as far as inquiries about pricing, tours, etc.. but what I can say is; I’m glad I gave her the opportunity to give me a tour in person and we both shared our personal stories. We found inspiration in both. I’m not updating my review just for her, the GM (who I briefly met), or the owner. I will say, though I will separately give the owner a six star review for the aesthetics of the entire facility! I’m raising the review based on how she responded to my humanity, allowing me to see the beauty of hers and why she is so very passionate about Henry’s Gymnasium. So yes, it is posh, it is completely different than the other gyms, but it is a place that does inspire not only inclusivity, but just an overall want and feeling to get your body moving. So I am changing from a one star to four. I think she was originally trying to encourage me to take a look at the other gyms in the area, to understand what makes theirs different from all of the others. Because now that I’ve seen and felt the experience of being in their establishment I believe I will be joining. I have a feeling after a few weeks of working out, I might have to update again, because I can see a five star in the very near future.

This is an awesome gym. They have specialty equipment from Germany that targets muscle groups so it’s great for people that want more variety. They also have everything for a good standard lift. The recovery suite in the back is like a spa with the red light bed, sauna, and ice box. The staff are also incredible and kind, definitely my go to gym when I’m in Seattle

The vibe is amazing and the place always feels clean and comfortable. The equipment is top tier and the amenities like the sauna, red light therapy and the massage area make recovery feel like a treat.

The staff here deserves a big shoutout. Max, Jada, Ari and Wayne are always so friendly and ready to help with anything. They really go out of their way to make sure everyone has a good experience. Honestly, this is one of the best gyms I have ever been to. Totally recommend it💯

Took a fitness class here with Julia and she was such an amazing instructor! She was very detailed in explaining each workout and led the class with such enthusiasm :) she even did the workouts with us. I’ve been a member at Henry’s previously to use the facilities (which has every workout machine u would want and need btw) but taking a fitness class here was such a nice change of pace! Will be back for more!

What an experience! Not only an incredible atmosphere, but also incredible staff. Everyone was super helpful and kind on my first visit. I absolutely love the interior design to this place and the quality of the equipment holds its own. I was able to take a personal training class with Julia who was absolutely incredible. Such an intimate class size that created a space for one on one work and true attention to detail. I will definitely be referring my friends to this gym! :)

When looking for my new home gym, what I was looking for was cleanliness, not having my gym too crowded and a friendly staff. This gym checked off all my boxes and of course the aesthetic is cool! The staff cares a lot about our experience as members here and it truly shows! Keep up the good work Wayne, Jada, Ari, and Matt! :)

When I first moved to Seattle I was looking for a new gym to join. I have a background in small, community based gyms like CrossFit or weightlifting training clubs but wanted to join a gym where I could do my own focused programming. I was delighted to learn that although Henry's is a 'larger' gym, there is still a strong sense of community and the staff are super friendly and try to remember and greet each member. During my sign up and afterwards, I have always felt personally valued as a member.
Highlights:
- Besides that, the lifting equipment and weight machines are top notch. There is an impressive number of open barbell stations downstairs which is rare for many gyms.
- I don't always love listening to music on headphones while training cause it gets sweaty and gross but at Henry's I don't have to! The music is always pumping in electronic/dance/high intensity vibes which is awesome to work out to.
- For the price, even at the highest tier (I pay around $200 per month), the amenities at Henry's are incredible compared to other gyms. They have 2 private saunas with cold therapy, 1 public sauna and 1 red light therapy as well as a massage chair. If you are looking for a gym with a full end to end workout --> recovery experience, look no further.
- Going to the gym can be tough. It can be unmotivating and hard and boring sometimes. But Henry's night club/art deco/mid century/chiq decor makes going to the gym much more of an experience and a lot less grey and drab corporate big box feeling. I looked it up and it actually used to be an old car manufacturing building way back when. Pretty cool!
- Speaking of atmosphere, I actually love that there are no giant blaring tvs around. Keeps you focused on your workout.
- If you are like me, and you hate Seattle parking, you will be pleased to know that they do have a paid parking lot available for just $25/month. A dedicated parking spot right next to my gym? Yes, please!
-
Low lights:
Of course, as a new gym and any business, Henry's has room for improvements, but I feel confident that as they grow they will shift dynamically in response to client needs.
In order to be candid in my review, I will mention just a few of my initial observations of opportunities for improvement:
1. The space is large, but not massive, so there will always be some space constraints for more equipment. That being said, I have rarely struggled to find space for what I need.
2. I feel like the climate control could be slightly better for a gym. I joined during the fall, so it hasn't been terrible but I wonder what it will be like in the hotter months of summer. I personally prefer a cooler space for working out in, but there are endless towels provided to wipe sweat :D
3. The cardio equipment, while functional, is dated. They could use a few more bikes, rowers, and assault bikes to add to their arsenal. Maybe even a Jacob's ladder machine?

Even besides these few areas for improvements, I whole heartedly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a fun community minded modern gym experience!

A couple months ago, I moved to Seattle from NYC—hungry for grounding, safety, community, & places that promote a life of wellness. As an Asian femme lesbian, walking into fitness spaces can oftentimes feel intimidating and unsafe. But, Henry's is a true refuge in the world of gyms—a sanctuary where I feel seen, empowered, & safe to show up as a my best, truest, queer self <3 I love Henry's, esp. the truly warm, supportive staff (e.g., Jada, Ari, Wayne, etc.). I def encourage you to experience Henry's for yourself!

From the moment you walk in, you feel the care in every detail: complimentary clean towels, consistently spotless facilities, inspiring murals + affirming quotes, luxurious violet velvet curtains, moody + neon-lit design, & techno/bass-heavy music that makes the whole space feel like a queer underground rave (in the best way).

The gym is spread across 3 spacious, thoughtfully designed floors, and the equipment is top-of-the-line + ergonomic. It never feels overcrowded or performative.

One of my favorite parts of Henry's is the Recovery Suite, which has become a central part of my weekly wellness ritual. I rotate between the frost locker, Finnish + infrared saunas, red light therapy, and the massage chair. Every session leaves me feeling more deeply restored, relaxed, and reconnected to my body <3

And I have to shout out Julia, my personal trainer! Working with her in 1:1 sessions has been so transformative. She's incredibly knowledgable, affirming, & intentional in her approach. She helped me create a personalized strength training plan that aligns with my menstrual cycle, & she continues to adapt the plan as we learn more about my body's rhythms, strengths, & areas for growth. I've never felt more informed, empowered, or supported in a fitness journey. If you're considering personal training, I highly recommend working with her!

When I first joined Henry’s, I was a little nervous because it seemed really expensive for a gym membership, but after going for a little over a month, I have to say it’s definitely worth the price. They have all kinds of equipment, great recovery options, and the staff are awesome and always super welcoming. To top it off, the vibe of the gym itself is actually just immaculate. It's got to be one of the coolest places to workout in the area.
My only complaint is that I wish their member guest pass policy were a little more lenient, but as far as finding the right gym for my routine goes, I’m so glad I found this place.

I was astonished with the gym environment when I was getting in.
Shase took his time to get to know me and presenting all they were offering for me, Cale was there involved to clarify any concern. Jess took care of me since the beginning. I consider her a very good trainer. She took real time with me. The atmosphere out there reminds me that I am still young.

Julia is seriously the best! I’ve been going to her group workouts and also did a 1:1 session with her, and she’s been so patient and educational — especially since I’m still pretty new to weight lifting. She explains everything in a way that actually makes sense and helps you feel confident with your form.

She pays attention to the little details, makes sure you’re doing things safely, and somehow still keeps the energy up the whole time. I always leave her classes feeling stronger and like I actually learned something new.

Highly recommend her if you want someone who actually cares and makes working out feel fun and empowering, also she is just a baddie tryna help me become one too!!

The reason why I am giving it a 5 star is the new and some old staff in the capitol hill location. As a member, they do try to go out of their way to make you feel welcome and listen to their needs within the limits of what the owner allows them to.

I also do love the machines and the trainers there. (June is awesome)

The place has improved since it opened up. I wish their reputation can continue to improve and be more in harmony with queer capitol hill neighborhood values.

Henry’s Gymnasium is easily one of the best gyms I’ve ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the equipment is top-notch and spotless, and the overall atmosphere is unmatched. I love this gym. It’s so hard to find good gyms these days. I went there for my second time yesterday and the gym has all the equipment I could ever need plus I tried to recovery options and it’s wonderful!! Having your own personal spa and cold room are unmatched. The staff is the sweetest ever, if I lived closer I would get a membership in a heartbeat.

Overall, my main regret is that I was convinced to upgrade to the membership with perks. Totally not worth it. Stick with the basic package. The main system I upgraded for isn’t even available at the Capitol Hill location, and the others are either booked or close early.

Secondly, I was one of the very first people to join with the promise of getting the lowest possible rate. In reality, I live just two blocks away and still receive better promotional offers in the mail all the time. So there was no real advantage to signing up early — just marketing.

Third, the opening hours are disappointing. A 6 am start and 10 pm close isn’t competitive, and neither is the 6 pm weekend close. I keep my $50 LA Fitness membership because I often end up driving there on weekends at 6 pm — or even on weekdays around 9 pm — since I wouldn’t have enough time to finish a full workout at Henry’s.

The machines themselves are excellent, but my fitness app doesn’t recognize them since they’re very niche, which makes tracking progress difficult.

Staff: 10 out of 5 stars. Seriously — they’re fantastic. Friendly, helpful, and always supportive.

In summary: not a bad gym at all, but make sure you get a good price (it’s always on promo), skip any upgrade, and be okay with the limited hours. Do that, and it could easily be a 4- or 5-star experience.

I had a great time touring and starting my membership at Henry’s gymnasium. The equipment is very advanced (pendulum squat, standing abductor, vertical leg press). The facility is incredibly clean and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice aesthetic, and welcoming club :)

My original experience when signing up was not the greatest, however, there has been significant personnel changes, which has brought a new and fresh energy to the gym. I love the environment and it helps me to feel energized when working out. The front desk staff is friendly and informative. I go 4 to 5 times a week and there has only been a handful of times where I do struggle to find a bench or a piece of equipment. This is just something that I adapt too. It would be nice if there were more adjustable benches since there are only two, and if somebody is using both, you are no longer able to perform some activities. Where the flat benches tend to never get used. The other thing I would recommend is having free weights someplace upstairs, with a couple benches, because if you need to do super sets using dumbbells, you have to go up and down the stairs or elevator to access them, which does not help with being efficient in your workout. I’ve seen a drastic difference in how the gym’s ran. I like the people, cleanliness and I enjoy the fact that it’s a hip modern vibe. I’d recommend checking it out.

A really great gym. I started here about two months ago with all of the new gym goer anxiety, but the very friendly and helpful staff alleviated any of my worries upon my first visit. My trainer, June, has been a big help in further reinforcing my confidence in the gym. She challenges me to push myself in this new environment while also giving me the encouragement I need to make it through the workout.
The facilities are always clean and equipment in good repair. Fresh towels for working out, shower and sauna. Both the equipment and the amenities are usually free when I go to the gym, which helps me make the most of my time spent there. I really enjoy the aesthetic of the gym as well, the lighting and the decor adding to the experience of working out.

I've been going to Henry's for a little over a month and have been enjoying the experience, even as someone who dreads going to the gym.

Pros:
- Great personal training. Austin is the best! He's very supportive, balances pushing vs. resting very well, keeps a contagious positive attitude and works hard to teach and enforce proper form without feeling like a drill instructor.
- Very nice facilities with a swanky and modern design, clean environment, friendly staff. It's co-ed, non-toxic and very inclusive. The amenities like the infrared sauna, frost locker and cryo massage chair are amazing motivations to get to the gym, too.

Cons:
- Definitely catch a deal when you can because full price is pricey. Consider using a friend's guest pass to help get the best deal (if you sign up on the spot).

Overall, I'm very happy to call this my gym.

We recently moved into the Cap Hill area and wanted to find a gym that was walking distance. It came highly recommended to us by a few friends. We decided to check out Henry's during their 4th of July promotion, and decided to sign up after taking a tour with Wayne, the GM.

Absolutely love the facility itself, especially the variety of equipment. The staff is incredibly engaging and they genuinely enjoy hearing our feedback about the facility, the equipment, and show a genuine interest in how our workouts go when we stop in. They're always willing to answer questions about the equipment, and they never hesitate to take time out to show us how to use something new or unfamiliar to us.

More often than not, we find ourselves engaging in casual conversation with the staff and it really helps in making us feel at home in our new gym. If you're looking for something unique in the Cap Hill area, I highly recommend checking them out!

I’ve been going to Henry’s in Capitol Hill for a couple of months now, and absolutely love it. The variety and quality of equipment, access to facilities like the sauna and hydromassage chair, and above all the staff, all make going to Henry’s an exceptional gym experience!

The facility itself is super high quality and there’s very few members so the gym is not very busy. The lifting equipment is top tier and has most of what you might be looking for.

Some Concerns:
The turf area for core/functional workouts is the size of a large rug, which compared to the other location which is much smaller is pretty annoying. They do have a larger section that would be great but it is closed off and has been closed off since the gym opened in December last year for “classes” which were suppose to be offered in the new year and have just started in July. The changerooms are different than most gyms, there’s just one room that you can go into to change and there’s 2 showers that are shared with everyone at the gym. Iv’e also dealt with some problems related to the managers keeping promises when signing up that were not upheld. Nothing was put in writing which was probably my fault but because of that they didn’t follow up on their promises. They have multiple different membership options which is great, however, you have to choose one and stick to it. It would be nice to have the option to try and pay for the top tier option for a month to see how you like it.

I recently joined and had an awesome experience right from the start. Matty gave me a thorough tour and explained all the perks of the facility—super knowledgeable and easy to work with. I also signed up for personal training to get reacquainted with the gym, and Masen has been incredible. He’s smart, supportive, and genuinely helpful. I even decided to renew my sessions with him!

The building itself is a beautifully converted warehouse—unique, stylish, and impeccably clean. The equipment is brand new, the music and decor create great vibes, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and motivating.

If you’re on the fence, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won’t regret it!

Henry's is such a unique experience. Form and function both playfully engage in a space that is designed to be inclusive from the bottom up.

The facilities are well maintained and the gym equipment is always in excellent condition. In addition, I absolutely love the Gym80 pieces the facility has invested in and am looking forward to more of these machines showing up in the future.

The staff is also top notch. Friendly, informative and passionate about what they do. Trust me: The GM is passionate about the space both as someone who uses it himself but also how his members experience the space and equipment. I'm often asked how the equipment is working for my workouts and what kind of workouts I'm tackling for the day - not for "simple conversation", but an earnest look at ways to continually improve the space.

If you're on the fence about it: go tour the space and check it out. The monthly dues are well worth the value you get.

Henry’s Gym is on a whole different level! The design and atmosphere are absolutely jaw-dropping—unlike anything I’ve seen at a typical gym. I’ve been coming to Henry’s since they opened in 2024 and have had an amazing experience. The equipment is top notch, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the sauna/cold rooms are such a great plus. Henry's Gymnasium is a thoughtfully designed space that makes working out something I genuinely look forward to. It's clean, aesthetically beautiful, and full of intentional details that create a welcoming vibe.

The red light therapy and contrast therapy (sauna + frost locker) are amazing additions that support recovery. I also love the music! The sound system is great, and the playlists are so good I don’t even bring headphones.

It has plenty of equipment, a smart multi-level layout, and such friendly staff. Highly recommend if you want a gym that’s functional, motivating, and actually enjoyable to be in. 😊

Having recently moved to Seattle and Capitol Hill, I was on the lookout for a gym that had the atmosphere I was looking for. I checked out other gyms and they were either too expensive for what they offered, the equipment was dated or non existent, and they felt like your run of the mill commercial gym scene. At first glance when you walk in and see the multicolored lights and hear the dance music, you’d think you’re walking into the club, but Henry’s checked all of my boxes with the great summer sign on deal (July of 25’), top quality equipment, location, amenities like a sauna, massage chair, and vanity showers you’re paying more for at any other gyms, and arguably the most friendly desk staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I highly encourage anyone looking for a change from the normal commercial gym scene to give Henry’s a try!

I am so glad I chose to start my fitness journey at Henry's!
There is no denying that it is a gorgeous gym with all the equipment and features your heart could desire. But even better than all of that is the staff! Every interaction I have here is delightful - I'm always greeted with a cheerful "Welcome in! Enjoy your workout!" and everyone is always happy to help however they can. They do an excellent job of keeping the entire building clean, hygienic, and organized.
In particular, signing up for personal training at Henry's has been a life-changer! And that is no exaggeration - working with June has not only helped me change my body, but also my mindset about fitness in just a few short months. She puts great care into planning my sessions as well as my "homework". She always explains the goal of each exercise so I can understand what I am doing and why, rather than just going through the motions. June is kind, encouraging, and supportive, but she also knows how to push me when necessary to reach my goals. It is obvious that she is extremely passionate about her job and helping people! She is an excellent trainer and I cannot sing her praises enough.
If you're looking for a gym where you can truly thrive, Henry's is the place.

Ok, for real, I absolutely *love* this gym, it's low key perfect!

I used to be a pretty religious Barry's girlie (for the cardio) plus an additional shared Planet Fitness membership with my partner (for the weight lifting) PLUS a few trips every month to the spa/sauna (for the recovery). But now I get everything I need in one place and it's incredible to have all of that in a super accessible location in Cap Hill. I upgraded to the premium membership and it gives you unlimited shared sauna time, 8x private sauna /cold therapy times, and 8x hot/cold hydromassage. Like WHAT, are you kidding me? That's insane. And with the intro pricing, the price per month is such a steal compared to my previous routine.

I tried out a bunch of other places (including the new Equinox) and the value doesn't even come close. Plus the gym is STACKED, they've got so many great machines and weight lifting racks that, even after my first month, I've never had a problem getting my time on a machine.

And to top it off, the staff is so nice and accommodating, you feel like you're really in a welcoming space. Literally 10/10 (or like actually 20/10), this gym is giving ultimate fitness and recovery dreams.

This is just a warning to anyone who wants to sign up here. I was aggressively pushed to sign up before I was ready and didn’t look at the fine print. It’s my job to look at that and I made the decision to sign up. But a heads up to others who don’t read fine print. If you relocate out of town while on a yearly subscription they’ll charge you for any fees for the next month in addition to nearly 400$ canceling fee. Why charge someone who can’t use your gym or decides they don’t want to? I think that’s shady. A quality gym keeps a high membership rate because of the quality of the services. When there are tons of hidden fees in a bill as is the case here or crazy high cancellation fees, I think that’s a sign to be cautious.

As a general rule, I don't waste time writing negative reviews.

However, for Henry's, I will make an exception.

Never have I ever been warned off by a member from joining anything. Ever.

Speaks volumes. That and their $600/mo "all inclusive" membership. Are they 2x better than Equinox? I'll let you decide.

Plus the gotcha deal.. if you don't buy on your "first visit", you don't get the "special". All in quotes because the definitions and amounts are flexible. Wondering why there are no prices online? That's why :)

Big shoutout to Will for giving us our scheduled tour when the Manager didn't want to. Credit where due -- promotion?

TLDR; Does Henry's and its owner(s) actually want to stay in business? Your guess is as good as mine.

ps. Let's see how long before they take this down...

I love this gym - the machines are world-class, the aesthetics are fun, and the staff is always friendly. The best part, however, is for sure my personal trainer June. She programs the perfect workouts, taking into account my condition on the fly, and is always encouraging in a way that resonates with my personality. I don’t know if I’d be as committed to my workout plan without her.

The only con is the humidity downstairs can be intense during the evening - I can’t wear my long-sleeved workout shirts without being uncomfortable. A dehumidifier would make this a perfect gym for me.

Edit: Management listened and the basement space is much less humid now! Thanks!

Overall the gym is beautiful with high end machines, well taken care of and the staff is very friendly and attentive.

5 stars ***** for my trainer June, she’s a rockstar, knows her stuff and always get a great workout while being mindful of my injuries and limitations. I have consistently gotten stronger and have not regretted starting my fitness journey with her!

4 stars **** for the gym for a couple things:
- small, there isn’t much room to stretch or foam roll, 2-3 ppl max on the little turf area and we’re not allowed to go into the HUGE open room that is allocated for classes when there are no classes
- Next point, no classes available at this location still. So the open area is being unused and we can’t use it.

2 stars ** for the pricing structure and sales pitch approach is very much a turn off. Even though they were friendly, I was very close to walking away because it was just so confusing way too much going on and the commitment is way too much without an option to cancel (even with a penalty), you have to pay the full commitment for the term outright. Worse than an apartment, that was the most stressful part of the whole thing. Just make it simple, some of us have big time commitment phobia trauma. Give us an out.

Chris the manager is friendly as well and have always felt comfortable at this gym. I’m glad I joined, but the pricing situation I can’t even explain to my friends. Just open your wallet and go workout. This is a boutique gym, it is nice and you will pay for it.

They did give me a free t shirt to write the review, but this is my honest review. Go June!

Henry’s Gym offers great value for money. When I compared it to PNW Fitness, Henry’s stood out with its significantly lower price and superior equipment and atmosphere. The facilities at Henry’s are almost night and day better.

The only downside I encountered was the limited number of showers. The only shower available is often occupied, which can be quite inconvenient, especially during peak hours. The second shower is also quite inadequate. It lacks a place to store belongings and the lighting in the changing room is practically useless.

However, if you don’t mind the occasional shower shortage, Henry’s Gym is an excellent choice.

I’ve been going to Henry’s Gym almost every day since they first opened around January, and it has been extremely worth it. While it’s the most expensive gym I’ve personally joined, the top-of-the-line equipment, variety, and overall experience make it stand out. There’s nothing else that compares in this area. As someone primarily into weightlifting for the past few years, I can confidently say this gym has everything you could need—including equipment I had never used before but now love. Unlike typical commercial gyms, Henry’s offers a wide selection of machines, free weights, and specialty equipment that really enhance my training.

Beyond the equipment, the gym is exceptionally clean, including the bathrooms, which is a big plus. The staff is incredibly friendly, and always helpful. The all-inclusive plan, gives access to some great recovery options like a private sauna and cold room—both of which have been a nice addition to my routine. I’d love to see them add a body scan or cryotherapy in the future, but overall, this is by far the best gym I’ve trained at. If you’re serious about fitness and looking for a well-equipped, well-maintained gym with recovery options, I highly recommend checking it out!

This is a really beautiful gym with great amenities, but they have some disappointing/rigid policies that don’t make sense. If you have a free guest pass voucher to this place, they exclude its use by anyone who doesn’t reside within three zip codes near the Capitol Hill gym. Like actually check your ID and turn you away if you live somewhere as far far away as green lake or Ravenna. I’m not sure why they’d put these restrictions on something like a guest pass that they give to their current members. At any other gym, guest passes are usually at the liberty of their members to decide who to give it to, like a visiting friend of family member who wants to work out with them for a day. They claim that their marketing team believes this will increase sign up from people in the direct vicinity, but doesn’t make sense to me from a business perspective - I’d think they’d want to welcome people from anywhere who’d be willing to pay the fees and commute a little should they choose to join after trying the gym out. It is It’s just kind of ironic to see this in a gym that claims to celebrate diversity, community, and inclusivity.

Have to be aware that it’s *a gym* and will do *a gym* things.

- Doesn’t have a real app, just a mediocre PWA which comes with its own issues (see following)
- updated my billing information and the app couldn’t process my payment for multiple days even after offering to pay in person so I got charged a non refundable late fee
- relocation is not a practical option to cancel; essentially can only cancel if you move out of the Seattle Metro Area (25 miles), but since I moved and I don’t have a car (like a lot of people in Seattle) and I can’t uber to my gym every day so I’m kinda just stuck (my fault for not reading this in the agreement)

Honestly gyms make their money by locking people into these hilarious contracts, so I’m trying to warn smarter individuals than me to stay away

I will say the dude who’s there in the mornings, Austin? is pretty chill

Had the pleasure of meeting Chris and Alice today who showed us around the gym. 1st floor with free weights and 2nd floor with cables. Equipment is amazing and the vibes in the gym are 👌🏼. Great music, low light.

Chris was the best! My friend and I were visiting from out of town and he allowed us to have a day pass at this facility. Great variety with weights. Great vibes. Great sauna! Staff were all very friendly. We can’t wait to come back.

The gym and their facilities are great - and really top line machines. Trainer June is a star though. She creates custom workouts around your life and needs, and helps you grow strong and confident in the gym. If you want to grow your glutes or your strength I can't recommend enough.

Every member of the staff I have met has been so nice and helpful. The membership is worth every penny!

I can’t say enough good things about this gym! From the moment I walked in, Chris gave me an amazing tour and really made me feel welcomed. After I started working out, Dani was so nice, she took the time to show me how to use all of the leg equipment and made everything super easy to understand.

The pictures honestly don’t do this place justice—it’s beautiful in person, clean, and the equipment is TOP-NOTCH. If you’re looking for a gym with a great atmosphere and genuinely kind staff, this is it. Highly recommend!

Love the new gym! Great atmosphere and ambient! My personal trainer June has gotten me a great routine as a beginner. I was only going to go once a week but I’m inspired to go more. Facilities are clean and the front desk is welcoming! Cap hill needed a gym like this!

I’ve been coming to Henry’s since September (first Queen Anne and transferred to Capitol Hill in December). The gym is solid, the staff are friendly and supportive, and the recovery services are the icing on the cake and cherry on top. My trainer, Amelia, pushes me just enough, helps me avoid aggravating existing injuries, and has supercharged my fitness journey. I’m healthier than I’ve been in a long time because I made the decision to commit, and because of the support and encouragement that permeates the culture here. If you’re ready to commit, this gym will help you completely transform.

Henry’s gym is a pleasure to work out at, their equipment is very suitable for making gains if that’s your goal. Their equipment is also way better than other gyms I’ve been to so far in Seattle. The overall vibe & atmosphere is immaculate and vibrant if it’s one of your non-negotiable’s. Highly recommend getting a membership at this establishment! :)

Henry's Capitol Hill is making a very strong case for being the best gym in Seattle!

Overall, equipment selection is pretty impressive. Nearly all of the equipment is Gym80 which is a brand I've been a big fan of for a few years. Really cool to have a gym in the neighborhood almost completely outfitted with Gym80.

Vibes are great. The lighting, artwork, disco balls, etc. all just creates a "cool" space to workout in. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, they greet and say goodbye to every member coming in/out.

Definitely a very unique gym, and I'd recommend everyone to check it out. They even have parking! A rarity on Capitol Hill.

Absolutely Amazing gym and the facilities are outstanding. However, what made the gym stand out, was trainer Amilia, and she was incredible. Unlike any other trainer I've had, she challenged my endurance, strength, and mobility with her pace (and patience). Amilia is extremely knowledgeable and I have been able to see significant gains in shorter amounts of time than I have had previously with other trainers at different gyms. Henry's is great, but I highly recommend asking for Amilia when you go there.

Some of the friendliest people I’ve met during my gym journey! I really wanted to start working out close to home and the Captiol Hill location is central to everything. The building is clean, the equipment is new, and the people that work here are extremely kind. Highly recommend if someone is looking for a great vibe!

Henry’s isn’t just a gym—it’s a whole vibe! The staff here makes me feel like a superstar the second I walk in, and my trainer gets me! I’m having the best experience as someone who was nervous ! After 7 weeks, at-least 4 days a week, and as this being my first gym membership I can say my confidence is soaring almost as much as my sore muscles! If you’re looking for a place where you can sweat, smile, and strut—Henry’s is it and lit!

Henry’s Gymnasium in Capitol Hill, in my opinion is one of the top tier gyms you can go to. You get the maximum value of amenities while getting access to high quality equipment. The location has lots of room and while it’s relatively new to Capitol Hill, they will catch your attention. Be prepared this gym will blow your mind and the energy the gym has is awesome! I highly recommend Henry’s Gymnasium to anyone who is serious about working out, explore the multitude of equipment they have and also the up and coming small group classes!

They have some amazing deals for new members and honestly it’s worth every dollar. Your not gonna find a gym that has this kind of care! Brand new equipment that is high quality as well as cold plunge baths and infrared saunas; it’s worth it.

Take a tour and check them out!
I will update this post with more photos and videos. Keep on making amazing gym environments Henry Gymnasium! 💪🏽💯

Absolutely wonderful gym, brand new equipment and loved the atmosphere. It's clear someone put a lot of thought and care into the aesthetics, layout, and equipment selection. Was very uncrowded and spacious, did not have to wait for any machines or a bench.

I was genuinely interested in checking it out since it was a brand new gym. Unfortunately I can't give it more than 3 stars - just to check it out / a day pass was $30 + tax ($33.11). That's excessive even for Capitol Hill, and particularly when a monthly membership is only $80/month. I don't think I'll be going back.

*star dropped d/t feeling pressured to sign up immediately* Great gym and beautiful facilities (new, cleanly, and had full sets of equipment). Cool amenities if you decide to add-on. Price ($79.90) is better than any other place I’ve been to in the Capitol Hill area (I’ve been to Flow fitness, Capitol Hill fitness, PNW, 24 hour, Big Iron, West Seattle Health Club, LA fitness, etc). I will warn that I felt very pressured to sign up immediately and was told that the price would go up if I didn’t sign up right at that moment (even if I only left for an hour). I didn’t really enjoy that sales technique and learned later on that the $79.90/month rate was posted on their website, so it wasn’t going to change when I left (it was the December rate). Ultimately I did decide to sign up since I knew the situation of the local gyms, but if you aren’t ready to get pressured into signing up immediately, avoid going here for the time being. Still highly recommend, 5/5 if that wasn’t my first interaction.

I'm excited for this gym to open! I already go to their location in QueenAnne and it is by far the cleanest and kindest gym I've been a part of. The staff is always so kind and caring. Not only that but they really do want this place to be filled with community, shout out to Dani because she helped me make some friends when I was feeling nervous. Take a quick tour of both places! They are filled with personality and charm!
