We have been thrilled with our experience at Higher Ground Dance Studio. Every year, we sign up for more classes - the teachers are professional and encouraging. As a parent, I feel comfortable having my children attend classes at Higher Ground. The environment is safe and inclusive. They have a special emphasis on positive mental health practices and body positivity. The studio itself is modern and clean. Our kids have loved tap, jazz, musical theatre, ballet, hip-hop and more! We feel like we get great opportunities that we couldn't get anywhere else, such as competing on the studio's amazing competition teams. Watching the competitions, the Nutcracker, and year-end recitals are definitely highlights of the year for our family. Highly recommend to anyone. Looking forward to next dance season with Higher Ground Dance Studio!

Our daughter is in her second year of Hip Hop here, but fifth year of dance, and we all absolutely love HGDS. She can't wait to come every week. Whether your child is a beginner or advanced, there is something for everyone, and everyone feels like they belong. The teachers are phenomenal, and the dancers forge strong friendships.

Sara is the best tap teacher in town! I love how it's great for kids and they're very inclusive. All the teachers and students are very supportive and my daughter loves it!

Our daughter loves it here and so do we. They have worked so hard to adapt and stay open during the last year and, in doing so, have provided a great outlet for their students. All the teachers are excellent. They are strict with their COVID protocols and are able and willing to be flexible when it is needed. They have been a lifesaver.

After a not so great experience with another local dance studio, we found ourselves at higher ground, and what a breath of fresh air it was! All of the instructors are so kind and sweet and really love our children like their own. The studio is beautiful and clean. Professional, fun and just an all around amazing dance studio! The communication at this studio couldn’t be any better and they really give you all the details and more on how to help your child succeed.

This will be our 2nd yeat at Higher Ground. My girls loved the first year so much they decided to expand to 2 classes each this year. 😊 Highly recommend!
