I found this studio through a dear friend who follows yoga with enthusiasm. She recommended this studio and I signed up for a trial of 10 days for $10. It’s so wonderful and my injuries have healed themselves partially so I’m signing up for real and enjoying staying away from the doctors! Namaste

Love Hot Yoga Inc. I am a newbie at Hot Yoga and saw the 10 class for $10 offer one day when driving by. I tried the trial and love this place with the first service interaction. I have been practicing for the past 6-7 weeks regularly.
Once I set up the account, I got detailed instructions on what to do and how to go about getting ready for the class - this prepared me for what to expect for my first class. For my first class (Hatha), I got there 15-20 before the class start time and Emilie is amazing in helping me navigate my anxiety, finding a spot for me - someone who has never done hot yoga (somewhere in the room where it is not too hot) as well as supported me in my practice as I have a knee experiencing joint pains.
Love my first session and all subsequent sessions as well. All the instructors are amazing. They are super professional and challenge the students to push themselves hard to hold each of the poses. The facilities is wonderful and all the other practitioner are also very friendly.
I personally feel that even though I was doing some Physical Therapy for my knee, doing hot yoga is just the total package to increase strength, all joints and range of motion. So glad that Hot Yoga is here.

The new location and facility in Bellevue are great. There are plenty of parking spaces and classes are not over crowded (so far!) like it was at old location. Instructors are all great. I'm still getting used to the heat again after a hot yoga break, but the pace is perfect!

I have been practicing at this studio for the past 6 months. It has a great atmosphere and great teachers. The heat is intense in Hot yoga inc studios. Bye design it provides a unique body and mind challenge. Sauna is a traditional therapy proven to detoxify and stimulate the production of heat stress proteins and a myriad of other benefits. Grab your mat and water bottle and give it a try!)

My weekly hot yoga practice over the past year has been a wonderful addition to my wellness routine. Linda, the owner, has created a welcoming space that combines professionalism with genuine warmth - you feel it from the moment you walk in.
The studio's prime location and diverse class schedule make it easy to maintain consistency, even with a busy lifestyle. The teaching team brings both expertise and authenticity to each session, helping students of all levels progress safely while honoring their individual practice.
For anyone looking to explore hot yoga in a supportive, professional environment, this studio offers the perfect blend of challenge and accessibility. It's become my sanctuary for weekly reset and renewal!

I don’t typically write reviews, but this needs to be shared! This business falsely advertises. They use a scam to get you in the door. They promoted 10 days for $10 for new students, but when I arrived, they refused to honor the offer.
I was excited to try this studio after seeing the new student offer of 10 classes for $10 advertised on their website. However, when I arrived, I was told I wasn’t eligible because I’m from out of state—a restriction that was not mentioned anywhere online.
I’ll be in town for a full month—well beyond the 10-day period the offer covers. Although this shouldn't matter, I did explain that to the teacher handling the transaction. I usually practice yoga five times each week, so I was genuinely looking to be a consistent student during my stay.
Regardless of how long I’m in the state, the promotion should be transparent and clearly detailed in their advertising! It’s frustrating to discover hidden restrictions only after arriving and being ready to commit.
I ended up paying full price for a single class.
***Here is my response to their reply***:
1) I want to point out that I have never left a negative review before in my life. I left this one because there is clearly dishonest advertising and a lack of ownership on the owner's part.
2) I just relooked over the website. In 2 locations it says 10 classes for 10 dollars with no mention of a local requirement. This is bad advertising. It gets people to drive to the studio, then they are told it will cost more than anticipated. Sadly, I am not able to post screenshots. Owner- you should fix this and admit your error.
3) I created a registration at your studio. How would someone who registers at your studio know beforehand that your advertised deal is only for local residents? They wouldn't.
Since I can't post screenshots, this is a direct quote of your add:
"NEW STUDENT SPECIALS
First time doing hot yoga? Get a special 10 class pass for only $10! Offer is available at the studio."
There are no asterisks and no fine print on at least 2 pages of your website.
You mislead people with false advertising (this is called a scam) to get them in the door. Then people are already there and end up paying $32 for a single class.
What this company should do is update their website.
4) Since you mentioned my email - you made this post ~22 hours after I sent my email, which you never responded to. That is fine, but you did respond to my post here within ~2 hours.

Love the heat, the workouts, instructors, easy location/parking away from (just south of) the fuss of downtown Bellevue. Ii love not needing to register for classes--just show up and find a spot!
The classes are not for the timid and require some level of fitness to complete the class, particularly the power classes. That being said, it is a supportive and friendly environment and everyone can and should try it. I really struggled at first, but it got easier after I learned to hydrate well and gained flexibility and strength. When you finish the class you will feel amazing--talk about endorphin rush! I love that it is a local small business and not some national chain. Please add more power/sculpt classes and evening class options to Bellevue!

Really love the classes here. Instructors are friendly, patient and helpful. Pace of going through the poses are just right for me. I started in Jan, and have never done this before. It took a few sessions to really get used to the heat and eventually enjoying it. After almost 2 months I can feel a significant improvement in my strength, balance and flexibility. On top of that. I went to this place for a special offer, but my experience wasn’t great. When I arrived, they told me I should have brought my own yoga mat, something that was never mentioned beforehand. I didn’t receive any confirmation email or any information about what I needed to bring to the class.
The receptionist was quite rude when I explained the situation, and the only option they gave me was to buy a mat for $65. I’m surprised they don’t have mats available to lend to new students, especially when they fail to provide clear instructions in advance.
Definitely, their organization and customer service could improve significantly.

Way too hot! I have been practicing hot yoga since the late 90's and I have never before practiced in such an overly hot room. Instead of enhancing my yoga practice, the extreme heat was a distraction. I wasn't able to fully perform all the poses because the extreme heat had zapped my energy. My feet felt like they were burning, even through the mat and towel. A full third of the class couldn't stand it and left during class.

So very disappointed with the front desk staff on Wed 7/24/19. I had an issue registering for a class via classpass online one hour prior to class and they were dismissive and rude, “well that isn’t an issue on our end.” Furthermore, she would not allow me to forward my feedback on to the studio owner for resolution. When I asked the front desk staff for an email address she responded, “well I am the manager, and that is just not happening.” I would have much rather had a private conversation with the studio owner about this issue, but if feedback is not what the studio is seeking, I feel obligated to leave a google review so that other practitioners are not scared away from yoga based on the attitude of the staff at this studio. As a yoga teacher myself, it is so disheartening to see this kind of treatment from “yoga” studios. If you are new to the practice and you feel demeaned by studio staff, please look elsewhere for a guide! Part of being a professional is the ability to have civil discourse in times of misunderstanding; unfortunately, the front desk staff lacked professionalism by jumping to conclusions and responding with hostility rather than seeking understanding and a solution, and they were not open to dialogue regarding process improvements. Others on classpass have had a similar experience, as reflected in their reviews.

I started going to this location after the Kirkland one shut down :( The main reason I kept my membership was for Ryan’s sculpt class. Best workout if you want to be challenged each & every time. It’s not easy, but if I can do it (5’3 115lbs) so can anyone else :) It just takes some (ok, lots of) determination & patience!
My other favorite classes are Katie’s Power & BG’s sculpt. As for Hatha, you can’t really go wrong with who is teaching since the postures are USUALLY always the same each class :P

This is a review only of Yoga Sculpt - other classes may very well be a better fit for me.
Yoga sculpt isn't yoga in any way, shape or form. It's a bootcamp style class that is for some reason heated. The heat comes from specific units on the floor, so if you're near them it will be hot enough that you cannot keep your hand on the wooden floor. There were a couple of exercises where you needed to put your hands on the floor outside of the width of the mat, and I couldn't keep them there due to the heat.
In general, the benefit of heat in yoga is that it can raise your heartbeat and allow you to stretch deeper into your poses. The sculpt yoga is just interval training with essentially zero stretching components. For that reason, the heat element makes little to no sense to me. You could get the same workout at room temperature; you'd just be able to do more reps/weight. There's only so much energy you can exert and doing HIIT at high temperature just reduces your performance in terms of reps, form and weight.
My biggest complaint about the class is it appears to offer a lot of risk for injury. There were about 20 participants and one instructor. The idea is to make it very difficult. To a point, that's fine. However, looking around the room, 75% of participants were getting through the workout using improper form. When you push yourself to the point that you're sacrificing form, injuries occur. Rushed weight lifting, exceeding the bounds of what participants in your class can do, doesn't lead to long term success. It leads to people taking the class and seeing great gains for a bit, then having a huge setback due to injury. The instructor, Ryan, felt the need to emphasize that this was the easiest version of his class. This might motivate some people. For me when I'm trying to my best and dripping with sweat, this just came across as insulting and condescending.
In general, I didn't like this class. However, it is a popular class and so I understand some people will like it a lot. The customer service department reached out to me with a nice e-mail addressing my concerns, and for that I changed my review from 1 star to 2 stars. I appreciate the fact that they care about the experience and appeared to legitimately listen to concerns. They also didn't ask me to change my review, just reached out to address concerns. Ryan, the instructor, communicated via customer service that it was the slowest pace boot camp he's ever run. That may very well be, but I maintain the opinion the vast majority of people were doing the workout incompletely with poor form. If that's the easy version of the class, then it should be adjusted to achieve results without risking injury. I did not like that customer service responded to my comment that the class was leading to poor form by most of the participants by saying "Ryan said it's the slowest class he's ever lead". That's not really relevant and a weird argument/response to my critique.

I had an excellent experience at the Bellevue studio for a Hatha class! The studio was clean, visually attractive and the instructor was knowledgeable, friendly and aware of the participants needs. Overall, a wonderful place to take hot yoga, and from the schedule, many different classes offered at convenient times.

Terrible First Time experience. Front desk said nothing about the class or how to prepare. They were just too busy trying to pack as many students into the studio and not friendly at all. I've taken many yoga classes in the past with extremely qualified teachers. This instructor was one of the worse I've seen. She did not take into consideration new people or beginners. Some of the poses she was having people do were for advanced students and there was absolutely no instructions for beginner modifications. People with lower back issues were in danger of hurting themselves more if they listened to her. She only helped the advance students with their pose positions. By the end of the class over 50% were not even doing anything she instructed (thankfully) and doing their own yoga poses. I'll definitely be trying other studios to find more qualified instructors.

THE WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER.
VERY DISGUSTED
This studio has charged me almost an additional 200$ on classes I never took. I was promised a refund and they have yet to do so. It has been over a week since they charged me and I am disgusted they didn't offer me a cash refund the moment they were informed of this mistake.
It seems as though no one knows whats going on at this hot yoga studio financially as every time I bring up my refund whomever is at the desk says "they will leave a note for the person who is in charge of finances to call me" I have not received any calls whatsoever from Hot yoga Inc.
It also seems like its very rare to have someone answer their phone, which is insanely annoying when you are trying to resolve such problems.
Most of the instructors seem uneducated in the practice as only a few of them regulate the EXTREME heat. The extra heat IS NOT the problem. The instructors are supposed to open the doors to let air in 3-4 times during a class. That was my experience in the first week and I loved the cool down periods. It was because of the cool air that i was able to continue, as I was not used to the extreme heat. Some of the instructors will only open the doors once if at all, and I could not take the inconsistent air.
I started yoga to become more calm, but so far this studio has done nothing but add stress

The first thing you should know... is that this studio is EXTRA hot... I've been doing Bikram for a while, and I rarely struggle with the heat... I love it toasty.... I was dying in this studio. That being said, others were not, so it's obviously not totally unbearable. The really annoying thing about the heat, is that it radiates directly down, it doesn't circulate. So there's a good 10 degree difference between the front and the back of the room, and I like to be in the front, right next to the mirror... but it literally get's so hot, you can't touch the floor. (I mean you can... but it's really really hot, and you don't want to.)
Now my #1 complaint, is how crowded some of the classes are. Sometimes you can barely find a spot, and unless you are there super early, good luck being able to see yourself in a mirror. (3 walls have mirrors, which is great, but they should really have all 4 coverd with this many people!)
The instructors are hit or miss... I had a few who were average, just went through the motions, didn't really help people, and there were some that were fantastic! I learned a lot and got a lot out of their class. And some instructors were terrible... I don't know what they were doing or thinking or why... because some of the things they had us doing weren't working our bodies, they were stressing our bodies... I'm a professional athlete... I'm fit. I was the only one keeping up and I was struggling, and I knew they were bad exercises. Yes you might feel sore the next day like you had a tough workout... but there's a difference, and it's not good... (hint: wasn't impressed with the sculpt class...)
The classes are also hit or miss... some were actually what they said they were going to be... like one hatha (wanna be Bikram) class was more of a mix of yoga and circuit training... but not really even hatha yoga... same for the power classes (wanna be vinyasa). It's like the instructors were bored and wanted to try something new and different... but that's not what we signed up for... and some of the classes moved through the postures so quickly you barely had time to get in them in the first place... and what was really annoying was the fact that there would be ZERO students in the room doing them correctly... and there was no correction or explanation made... no demonstration... so it's pretty much a waste of everyone's time and energy. That being said, there I had a couple classes, that were the total opposite.
The showers and bathrooms were great, the location is great, the staff is friendly and professional. I really don't know which way to swing on this studio... the 10 class intro wasn't enough for me to really get a full grasp of all the classes and instructors. But essentially it's hit or miss. I had some fantastic classes, and I had some downright awful classes.... Give it a try, see what you think. I think it's too overpriced for me to try buying a membership seeing as it's so unreliable/inconsistent.

Have a special and don't make it obvious it is only for Washington licenses online. got there and had to pay for a drop in instead. Fine, no problem. Spent almost ten minutes using a buggy ipad to fill out the waiver. go to pay and ask for a rental mat and they only sell them....maybe you should have mentioned that at any point after I walked in without a mat? Turns out yoga mats don't fit in carry ons. $90 for one yoga class is a little greedy. Made it to the studio down the street just in time....
