I started with Hotworx through their free trial. I took the stretch class and loved it. After speaking to one of the employees, I liked what I heard. I hate gyms and is self-conscience about working out in front of others, so with the privacy and 3 person limit class size, this was the perfect place for me. Some folks may want a larger space for a gym, but I really liked how small this location was. I never felt overwhelmed here. The staff were always nice and helpful and the small size made this feel like a community.
Ok so the cons. I knocked off a star because of 3 things.
1. Difficulty connecting with staff in person. Because this is a 24 hour operation, there is not always staff available which is understandable. They have "staffed hours" meaning hours when staff is in the building, but there is no schedule of when that is. If you have to catch them. It tough to address any needs or purchases when there is no staff in the building.
2. Expensive merchandise. There was a gray towel that I wanted to purchase. When I asked the staff for a price it was $76.00. For a towel. Depending on how often you go for classes, the best thing to do is purchase their towel set. I believe its about 60 bucks. If not, you can rent all the stuff you need for 8.00 from the vending machine.
3. Non-disclosure of cancellation policy. If you don't ask at sign up, you won't know. The person who helped me signed up did not mention their cancellation policy and I didn't ask. I suggest that you do before you sign up. I was no longer able to afford Hotworx and needed to cancel. I sent a text to one of the staff and asked them how to do so. We spoke on the phone and she mentioned that you had to have 6 pay cycles to walk away. I had only had 2 or 3. If you leave before 6 pay cycles, you have to buy yourself out of the membership. Had I known all this when I signed up, I wouldn't have.

Aside from all that, I would still recommend Hotworx, just do some research and ask the right questions upfront.

I found Hotworx after looking for a fitness studio in the area. I took a free class and was so hooked I joined the same day! I actually didn’t expect to see results, but I actually saw results super fast! It has become my “relaxation time”. I also love the incentives they have. It feels more like a community than commercial gyms.

My spouse and I were among the first customers when this location opened. Earlier this year, I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, and the manager agreed that a refund would be issued. Despite that agreement, we were charged nearly $360, the refund was never processed, and repeated follow-ups went unanswered by both the local owner and corporate.

Disappointing lack of accountability and follow-through from a business I once supported. They do not value their customers.

Hotworx owes me nothing but gave me everything yesterday. I am so happy with the workout I experienced. It was challenging & rewarding. If you are looking for a more intimate way to meet your workout goals, give Hotworx a shot! Afterwards I got to run a quick errand at Homegoods next door and hydrate with some sparkling water from WholeFoods down the street.

Amazing staff, cleanest facility I have been too and such supportive members! I absolutely feel so good when I am done and can’t wait to be back! I highly recommend, the atmosphere is so fun! Something else I appreciate is their memberships and all are customizable for you needs and wants!

HOTWORX is seriously the best. The infrared workouts make such a difference—I feel amazing after every session. It’s super convenient being open 24/7, and I love that I can just pop in whenever it fits my schedule. The vibe is always chill, the place is clean, and the workouts are killer (in a good way). Totally recommend it if you're looking for something different that actually works.

Great place to get a sweat and for fitness of all levels. Just looking for a light stretch and meditation in the infrared sauna? They have that. Looking for higher intensity interval work? They have that- rowing, biking, even assault bike. Would recommend for the sauna, the privacy, and the guided classes. As a bonus staff is always friendly.

I’ve been coming for like 2 months now. I live in Belltown so it’s a quick 5 min drive for me and they have amazing parking. I’m a typical Seattle loner so I’ve been loving being able to schedule my sauna ahead of time and have had no trouble being able to get one solo. And I like to come at night after work.

First of all, the ladies that work there are amazing! So helpful with getting me set up with my membership and always so nice and positive when they welcome me in! Also the workouts are great and the infrared heat seriously feels the best. I've totally noticed a difference in my hair/skin/nails and am feeling so detoxed and energized. HIGHLY recommend!

My wife and I both love our local HW studio, and were excited to see this new location when back visiting in Seattle! The staff is top notch, very friendly and professional. Facilities were super clean; layout is slightly different from home, but actually better for when we move between the sauna workouts and weights. I didn’t realize how much we end up using the premium membership while travelling.

Love love love Hotworx Seattle. I feel so much better after a good workout in the infra-red saunas. Open 24 hrs and great parking. I couldn't ask for anything more in a workout facility!!
