Our daughter started at this gym when she was 7 years old and is now 13. We’ve seen so much growth, not just in her gymnastics, but in her confidence and love for the sport. Since the new owners took over about three years ago, the atmosphere has been incredible. The coaches truly care about their athletes; they see them, support them, and make thoughtful adjustments when needed, whether it’s due to injury, fear, or just needing a little extra encouragement.
After finishing her Level 7 season in 2023, our daughter decided to take a year off, unsure if she wanted to continue gymnastics. After some time away, she realized how much she missed the sport, her coaches, and her teammates.
When she decided to return, there was never a question of where to go, coming “home” to Inspire Gymnastics this past summer has been the best decision. We’re so thankful for this gym and the community they’ve built.

After almost 4 years at this gym, our recent experience was the final straw. My daughter had the skills to advance to team, she earned that placement (the owner said she didn’t even need the skills placement test), but we chose not to move her up because of concerns about the coach leading the team. Instead, she stayed on pre-team, which unfortunately declined in quality over a few months. What was once a strong, skill-building program started to feel more like a beginner recreational class.
More recently, the owners told us she couldn’t move to team, even though they made exceptions for another pre-team athlete. When I brought up my concerns, they brushed them off, and when I followed up almost two months later, they claimed I hadn’t reached out soon enough.
The inconsistency, lack of communication, and favoritism here are disappointing. This gym has become a waste of money and time, parents deserve honesty, structure, and coaches who truly support every athlete’s growth.

Our family has been part of this gym since my daughter was 6 years old, she’s now almost 10. Over those years, we’ve seen both the positives and the serious downsides that have ultimately led us to leave. I’m sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision.
When we first started, my daughter joined the recreational program and absolutely loved gymnastics. Unfortunately, we had an early negative experience with one of the coaches, Stacy, who accused my 6-year-old of flipping her off, something I know my daughter didn’t even understand at that age. It was extremely upsetting and made her want to quit. We decided to stay because she truly loved the sport, and we hoped things would improve.
At age 7, she moved into the pre-team program. Her first pre-team coach there was wonderful and really helped rebuild her confidence. Sadly, that coach left, and things declined again. The next coach, Melissa, consistently gave negative feedback to my daughter while loudly praising others, several parents noticed similar favoritism. The atmosphere became discouraging, and despite being told she could move up to team, we chose not to because that same coach led the team.
Another major concern has been the leadership and communication at the gym. The owners have often reacted defensively to feedback and haven’t created an environment where concerns are genuinely heard. As a parent of a mixed-race child, I couldn’t ignore how my daughter was treated differently at times. When I spoke up, I was dismissed or met with indifference.
After 3½ years of loyalty to this gym, we’ve made the decision to leave. It’s disappointing because Coach Jeff, one of the competitive coaches, was excellent, and we were hoping my daughter could train with him someday. But in the end, the lack of communication, favoritism, and unwillingness to listen to parents outweighed the positives.
I would strongly encourage parents to do their research before committing here. If your child thrives in a positive, supportive environment, this may not be the best fit.

Inspire Gymnastics PNW is fantastic program that truly stands out in every aspect. The enthusiastic owners bring a contagious energy that permeates the entire gym, creating an environment that is both uplifting and motivating. The coaches are incredibly supportive and encouraging, fostering a positive atmosphere where every child feels valued and inspired to reach their full potential.
They have smaller class and group sizes than the larger gyms in the area which allows for a better coach-to-gymnast ratio, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and tailored instruction. This individualized approach helps gymnasts progress more effectively and safely, boosting their confidence and skill level.
Our daughter moved to Inspire a few years ago and has thrived in this exceptional environment. Like many young athletes, she has faced typical struggles, but the coaches have been remarkably supportive, helping her overcome her fears and blocks. Their dedication and personalized approach have been instrumental in her growth and development.
The culture at Inspire is one of inclusivity and positivity. Families are welcomed with open arms, creating a sense of community that extends beyond the gym walls. Additionally, the gymnasts are all very supportive of each other; they provide encouragement and support when things get hard, and are cheering and screaming with excitement when skills are made.
We have made many lifelong friends here, and it's heartwarming to see how everyone, from the staff to the families, work together to support and cheer on all the young gymnasts. Inspire Gymnastics PNW is truly a gem, and we are grateful to be a part of such a wonderful community!

Coach Kim and Coach Georgio are incredible coaches and wonderful role models. The progress my daughter made under their coaching was amazing. Between their knowledge of gymnastics and their ability to build confidence in gymnasts, they helped my daughter overcome mental blocks that were stalling her progress. Everything is intentional and targeted from the conditioning to the drills to the personalized feedback. They encourage the girls to work hard, never give up, and always do their best. They truly care about their gymnasts. On top of all of this, they have built a beautiful facility and have a welcoming environment for all parents.

As a former athlete, coach, program director, and the USA Gymnastics Trampoline and Tumbling Program Coordinator, I bring a unique perspective to the gymnastics community.
As an athlete, I was under Georgi’s direction from the ages of 8-16 years old. Within that time, I won several state, regional and even national titles. From the ages of 16-25, I coached gymnastics, dance, and trampoline/tumbling. Throughout the years, I’ve worked at Deveau’s School of Gymnastics (Fishers, IN), Bloomington United Gymnastics (Bloomington, IN), Mount Si Gymnastics (Mt. Si, WA - side by side with Georgi), Seattle Gymnastics Academy (Seattle, WA), and finished out my gymnastics career working at the USA Gymnastics Headquarters as the program coordinator (Indianapolis, IN).
In knowing Georgi and the gymnastics world for so long, here’s my humble advice. If you are a parent looking to put your daughter in gymnastics, please do your own thorough research and find the best fit for your child. While reviews can often be a good thing, I would advise actually going to the gym and trying it out for yourself. Ask your children if they had a good time or not, and genuinely listen to them. After all, they are the ones that will be going to practices. Remember, each child is different. What may work for one child, may not work for another. Unfortunately, there is a lot of slander and politics in this community that may cloud your judgment. Ultimately, if you base your decision solely off a review, you could be missing out on a wonderful opportunity.
I’ve known Georgi since I was 8 years old (I’m currently 29 years old). As a coach myself, I was adamant about the notion that gymnastics doesn’t solely teach you to be an athlete. It teaches discipline, teamwork, time management, persistence, motivation, and above all, passion. You’ll find gymnasts will often grow up to be successful in multiple areas of life. Why? Again, gymnastics teaches you more than athleticism, and when you find a coach that believes in this same foundation, you’ll see the character of your child shine through all aspects of life. Fortunately for me, Georgi Georgiv was that coach, mentor, co-worker, and to this day, friend.
Check out Inspire Gymnastics for yourself! This small business is devoted to creating a community that develops, inspires, and above all, motivates athletes in all areas of life.

Georgio and his wife Kim are top-notch coaches! The gym is beautiful and so very clean! They are very welcoming of parents and actually encourage parents to watch. They have almost completed a very nice view deck where all areas of the gym can be seen by parents or spectators anytime. I have spent several hours watching since my daughter started and I have seen happy kids, laughing with their teammates and coaches and quickly gaining some very impressive skills. Spending 2.5 hours in the car everyday to drive my daughter to gymnastics is not something I really enjoy doing, but every day she comes home and says “I can’t wait to go to gym again tomorrow!”, so that makes it all worth it. I would encourage anyone to give them a try. You will not be disappointed!
