Iron Mountain Strength & Conditioning is a locally owned and operated private training studio aimed at providing the best training around. We specialize in personal and group training, nutritional coaching, and online training. In addition to training, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere is a high priority at Iron Mountain. We believe that a close-knit community is essential to the overall success of our clients and our business. So, whether you're an athlete, fitness class enthusiast, or someone just beginning their fitness journey, there's a place for you at Iron Mountain.

I love coming to this gym so much. The trainers are all so knowledgeable, upbeat, dedicated and encouraging. The group classes are tough, but that’s what we’re paying for right?! And there are always modifications to every movement/exercise as needed for all ages, abilities etc. Safety and proper form are definitely of the utmost priority which I really appreciate. The culture and environment that exists here between the trainers and other gym goers alike is what keeps me coming back. I can’t say enough good things about it and I would recommend (and am constantly recommending) anyone and everyone to check them out.

I started going to this gym back in December of 2024, and it was the best decision. I love and look forward to every small group class (never thought I would say that about exercise). I feel lighter, stronger, and energized. The trainers are very knowledgeable and motivating. It is never too late to start, and it is a very welcoming environment for whatever age or level of intensity you are at 😉

I’ve been coming to Iron Mountain for a few months now and have had a fantastic experience taking classes with both Kim and Christian. They are kind and supportive, making sessions super enjoyable and motivating. Since starting, I’ve seen a significant improvement in my back pain and energy levels. The classes are well structured, easy to follow, and cater to all levels- this was a huge concern of mine not having much experience in a gym. Glad I found this place. Highly recommend! :)

The perfect place for any age, yet I am over 50 and needed a refresh/reboot in the fitness arena. The Team of Leaders are amazing! Coach Christian is warm, an excellent instructor and somehow knew just what I needed in starting this journey all over again. No anxiety, only fun, fitness, great atmosphere and amazing team of coaches.

I’ve been coming to Iron mountain for 5 years. I started in group classes and moved on to independent training. I can’t say enough positive things about the culture that Matt and Kim have created here. Everyone is so helpful and positive and it’s unlike any gym I’ve ever been a member of. The best without a doubt! Matt and Kim have done an incredible job infusing their knowledge and passion for strength & conditioning into this gym, and it’s very apparent from the first time you walk through the doors! The environment here is so positive and friendly; every person present motivates you to work hard and be the best version of yourself. The gym and equipment is high quality and well taken care of. It would not be an over exaggeration to say that Iron Mountain changed my life! Matt has not only helped me meet my physical goals, but has made me mentally and emotionally stronger. Iron Mountain is hands down the best (and most fun) gym in town. I've explored my fair share of different gyms and nowhere else beats the cleanliness, nice equipment, safety, organized, friendly, honest, and best of all the awesome trainers, Kim and Matt. You will absolutely get the results you train for. They are highly qualified with credentials. Matt and Kim live their lives to reflect their knowledge. I highly recommend training with them.

If you're looking for a supportive, safe, and friendly workout environment that will also push all your boundaries and have you meeting your own personal goals then this is the place for you. Matt and Kim are both amazing trainers! They create intelligent and challenging workouts, that can be adapted for all fitness levels and for injuries and limitations. Easiest 5-star review ever! Iron Mountain is incredible. Not only do they have top of the line equipment, Matt and Kim are incredible teachers with a ton knowledge that they train with. Having zero strength training history and deep resistance to it (hi, it's me!), they brought me in with their welcoming and genuine personalities and inspired a passion for getting strong in me that I didn't know existed! It's small group personal training at it's very best - you absolutely will not regret trying it out!

Iron Mountain Strength & Conditioning is a safe and welcoming place to meet any fitness goal. Matt and Kim are not only amazing and supportive trainers but super knowledgeable and motivating. I've regularly attended their group classes since they opened. The classes are always fun and challenging. Enough so that I'm able to drag myself out of bed to attend the 5:30am class! I've also done personal training to recover from Achilles tendon surgery and following a motor vehicle accident. This is the place whether you're just starting out or looking to reach your next level!

I have been a member at Iron Mountain for several years. They have a well-maintained facility and top notch instructors. They have been so good at attention to detail of form during training that I trusted them with my teen kids to learn about strength training. They have helped me with everything from injury rehabilitation, strength training, and nutrition coaching. this place has been there for me and improved my life! Cannot recommended them enough!

How many stars can I give to Iron Mountain Strength & Conditioning? Maximum stars, maximum benefit. I was so nervous to start working out but after a friend recommended Kim and Matt I had to give it a try and I’m so glad I did. Got a 10 pack of one on one with Kim and then went to small group sessions. I have gained in strength, balance, aerobic fitness and happiness with myself. It’s been an amazing ride that I look forward to each time I go. At 65 yrs of age I think to myself that I wish I had started younger but I’m doing it now and it’s awesome.

I am so grateful a friend referred me to Kim and Iron Mountain. After dealing with a year of limited mobility from an injury I knew I needed help to get myself back to normal function. Kim’s knowledge, compassion and humor kept me on track to a full recovery and then some. Kim and Matt have created a welcoming, challenging, and fun environment at Iron Mountain. They both are extremely knowledgeable about weight training, nutrition and aerobic exercise. And they are just the kindest people! They will do whatever is needed to incorporate modifications into your workout, if needed, and encourage you to push hard to accomplish your goals! Matt and Kim have created a great, local gym for Bellingham fitness enthusiasts to call home. They are both very knowledgeable and want to put the best product on the floor to service their clients. The gym has a great layout, a lot of state of the art equipment, suitable amenities for any gym patron and a great vibe of inclusion. Matt's very knowledgeable and passionate about the body and learning. Kim has great energy, and excellent skills as a coach & exercise programmer. Iron Mountain S&C offers a few group classes, with a fun atmosphere, and 1-on-1 training, small group training sessions and an open gym option for your own training needs. If you're just starting out, cross-training for your sport, or looking to further your PB's in the weightroom - you'll find that Iron Mountain S&C is one of the top training locations in Bellingham. Matt and Kim of Iron Mountain Strength and Conditioning are some of the best at what they do! I have been training with Matt twice a week consistently since May of 2021 and have seen an incredible transformation in myself during that time. Not only has my strength increased dramatically, my posture, my diet, my mood and capacity for work, endurance, physique have all been ‘lifted’. Matt’s approach is very holistic and he tunes his individualized program for me based on how my body is feeling that day or if I’m dealing with any pain or injuries. I have a shoulder injury and knee pain and he has patiently worked with me on changing my program so as to strength the areas surrounding the pain center without aggravating it. With Matt’s expert knowledge he’s able to quickly adapt the plan to fit my particular needs. I trust Matt entirely in this arena and he has more than proven that he truly cares about me and my well being. Not only in physical health but also we have become good friends in the time that I’ve spent training here as he doesn’t take himself too seriously and the training environment is always relaxed and fun. I honestly just feel like I’m coming to hang out and lift with a friend every time I come in, and it’s a nice reprieve from the stresses of daily personal and work life. I used to have a regular gym membership and have since completely cancelled it in preference of just working exclusively with Matt at Iron Mountain. It has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself in the past year or so and in turn has inspired me to pursue other hobbies in kayaking, camping, and martial arts as well now that I know I am strong and my body is capable of more. I am 33 years old and instead of letting my age define how I feel I feel incredibly empowered and stronger than ever before thanks to choosing Matt and his team. Thanks Matt and Kim!! 💪🏽

Top-notch facility and trainers!
I've been going to Iron Mountain, which is owned by a wonderful couple (Matt and Kim), for a few months, first for personal training sessions and then for their small group strength and conditioning classes (all reasonably priced). It's private, so it's never crowded, and you get a lot of personal attention. The gym is conveniently located, huge, modern, and comfortable, with a vast array of equipment and a great sound system. Kim is endlessly fun, engaging, energetic, and encouraging, and she has a huge repertoire of exercises in her brain that she can adjust as needed for people with physical issues such as bad knees. My strength and balance have improved dramatically, and I am hooked!
