A friend invited me to join her at a Kirchoff Fitness boot camp. "It'll be fun" she said. I had my doubts that a class starting at 5:30 am, outside in the elements, where I would have to RUN would actually be fun.
I met with Chris Kirchoff before the first workout for a fitness assessment. I told her that "I am not a runner". She said "we'll see".
That was 3 years ago. Since then Kirchoff Fitness has dramatically improved my fitness level. I'm stronger. I have more endurance. I started running 5Ks and completed my first Ragnar this past summer. I get up before my alarm and really enjoy working out outside -- even in the rain and the dark. I don't think I could return to a traditional gym experience. And, I've joined a wonderful community of women. Each one of them inspires me daily.
But the biggest benefit I've received from Kirchoff Fitness boot camps is a belief in myself. I don't need to believe the limiting thoughts others or I have had about myself. I can do anything! While I still can't completely describe myself as a runner, Kirchoff Fitness has transformed me into something better -- an athlete!

I've been working out with Jessica at Kirchoff Fitness in South Seattle for the last 3 months. She is super high energy and the group of women are top notch. It's been a great way to wake up a few times a week and I'm stronger and have more energy than in a long time.

Signing up for Kirchoff Fitness Bootcamp (Mount Baker) has been the best decision I made for myself this year. By 6:30am, I've worked out for an hour with a group of awesome ladies, I'm more energized than I would be had I had coffee, and I'm ready to tackle my day by 7am. I'm definitely not a morning person - never have been - but three days out of the week I pull myself out of bed and suddenly become this alien of a person that loves being awake at 5:30am. Jessica has the best energy and makes the workouts fly by. Beats any gym membership out there!

I ABSOLUTELY love Kirchoff Fitness. I was very hesitant to sign up, but by the end of the first week, I knew I'd be signing up for another month. The group environment is so welcoming and Chris does such a great job of keeping things happy and lively. I 110% recommend!!!

When I first decided to start bootcamp in May 2016, I really had only planned on doing it for one month before I went on vacation. I've now been consistently going for almost 9 months! This is the first time EVER that I've been dedicated to a work out program. I'm by far the slowest lady there, but I always have support and help not only from the trainer Chris Kirchoff, but from the entire group. I've seen huge improvements in my strength, muscle, weight loss, and my energy is through the roof. It's been an incredible experience that I'm determined to keep up. I never in a million years thought I would WANT to get up and work out at 5:30am. A huge thanks to Chris for being such an amazing coach and mentor!

I just returned from a trip to Peru with Kirchoff Fitness, "Team Peru", a group of 8 other wonderful women all trained by Chris Kirchoff. I was the eldest at 61, with Chris's expert training and support I had had no problem with the elevation and the most amazing trek of my lifetime. I can not recommend Kirchoff Fitness enough for her expertise and trip preparations. An absolutely delightful experience!

A big "Thank you!" for the great training over the summer. I did my first 10K on Saturday in 1:04:50. Couldn't have finished without your strength training, eating tips and positive encouragement. My new goal is to do the next 10K under an hour!
Though I will not be joining boot camp for a while, I was up at 6:00 for an hour work out this morning and even dragged my hubby out of bed to join me :) Good habits are hard to break. Keep up the good work and hope to see at Golden Gardens again next summer!

Working out on my own was never consistent. When I did work out I would push myself half the time and the other half not as much. I was looking for a new exercise routine, something that would hold me accountable and push me further than I would push myself. I signed up for boot camp with Chris Kirchoff and found this and then some. Chris is an amazing, talented, personal trainer that knows how to bring out my best and the rest of the people in the workout group. Chris knows that my knees bother me with certain exercises and gives me alternative exercises without even being prompted. I love that she comes up with so many different types of workouts that always keep things interesting and that she is focused on good form. It has been great working out with a group of woman that are so supportive and encouraging to each other. You can tell everyone is being tortured yet having an absolute blast. I feel that through boot camp I am learning what I am truly capable of. I have acknowledged to myself during tough points in bootcamp that if I did not have Chris pushing me or a team of woman working out with me that I would have stopped and rested. Pushing myself through my workout has been great! Both emotionally and physically rewarding! I would recommend bootcamp with Chris to all woman!

I started attending this boot camp in May after 4 years of on again and off again training post baby. This class has really kicked me into gear. The first month was challenging, but I saw immediate results in my performance and stuck with it. I'm on my fourth session and I feel stronger than I have in years. My waterski sets are longer than they have been in 10 years. Last week I ran nearly 8 miles, the furtherest distance I can recall ever running. I credit Chris Kirchoff with this improvement. Each morning is a new and interesting challenge - from hill sprints to beach runs and pilates core. Her sense of humor and coaching are great motivation. The other women in the class are my inspiration. I've become a Seattle's Best Bootcamp junkie.

Chris is pretty much the best there is. I've been working with Chris for 5 years now and I could not have asked for a better experience. She helped me get ready for preseason soccer in a fun, yet challenging environment. I've worked with Chris in both the bootcamp and personal training environment and both of them are awesome, since she is always encouraging and makes every workout different. Chris has been not only a personal trainer to me, but a mentor and role model. You can do this!
