I recently travelled to hike in Peru. I was so happy to find that the classes I had taken over the summer at Lighthouse had prepared me incredibly well. I was stronger and had better balance than on previous strenuous hikes. All of the instructors are fabulous and will help you get ready for all of life's adventures!

Review part 2 (after a few more months):
One of my goals for the year was to feel better in my body by my birthday. My birthday is this week and my goal has been reached. So excited to keep feeling great in my body and what it does for me each day! I enjoy having this in my regular routine.
It's always a party at 5:30am! Best way to start the day. I enjoy how "held in" I feel from these workouts and it's a great posture improver and deep core work. It's a complete workout without leaving me feeling wrecked all day.

This place rules! I’ve NEVER been a “hard” workout person and NEVER EVER was a studio workout person. But I look forward to every class and feel great, albeit exhausted, after. It’s fun cool place. Even though barre is considered super “hard” Lighthouse makes you feel welcome and instructors make you confident that you can do hard things! 💪🏽

This place is magic. All the instructors brings their own strengths and style to the workout. The Barre and Bata classes are super challenging, engaging, and body transformative. I noticed almost immediately a shift in my energy, body tone, + strength. The studio is super inclusive and uplifting to boot. I just love it!

I have to admit I've taken different barre classes before and never got into it. After the first class here, at Lighthouse Fitness, it completely changed my mind about these type of workouts. Every single class goes by quickly and I actually enjoy it! I attribute it to the amazing instructors, the aesthetically pleasing and inviting space, and relaxed vibes you get when entering the studio. You definitely get an intense workout, but the combination of encouraging words and uplifting music takes me out of my head and carries you through the burn. There is something magical about the way you feel after each class - like having gone to a mini retreat in the middle of your day. I not only feel stronger physically, but also more resilient mentally.

First class is free so try it! Went to yoga with Katie P, and it was perfect. Lots of options in the poses for everyone from beginner on up. Katie has a calming presence and the playlist was uplifting and soothing. I left feeling energized in spirit and relaxed in body. I was visiting but easily felt welcomed and part of the community. Walkable to the main drag in Winslow.

Kristin’s Bata class is spot on! As challenging as you want it to be, hitting every major muscle group hard while weaving in flexibility. (My legs were shaking by the end and my abs are sore!) Music and positive vibes motivate you to push yourself. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an hour of intense (but fun!) workout.

Lighthouse is the studio I’ve always hoped to find. The workouts are incredible but the community even more so; I see friends, neighbors, fellow parents, and teachers at every class and leave stronger in my body & spirit. I’ve been a runner for years and barre workouts are a perfect compliment. Often I find myself skipping a run to do barre instead. Come for the Barre- STAY FOR THE YOGA!
I joined Lighthouse for Barre. As expected, Barre-Bata was a really fun addition. Between the variety of workouts and variety of instructors, I’m never bored and am always excited to come to class. The vibe is welcoming and inclusive and the music is GOOOOD!
YOGA. Not what I came for but is now the class I look forward to the most. I’ve taken Yoga classes before but never one like this. Kati is incredibly intuitive. When I leave her class, I feel strong, grounded, and self aware. She guides with words I understand which enables me to stay focused on my practice and not looking around wondering what I should be doing. My favorite part, is that I get to play. I don’t play enough in exercise and in life. Balance is playful.

Lighthouse Fitness has it all! I initially joined for the barre classes, but have found great value in the yoga, pilates and barre-bata classes as well! The instructors are incredible here. I love how challenging the classes can be and that the instructors push for muscle burn out. I’m seeing results quickly because of this and realizing just how capable my body is. Having good music while working out is important to me, so I love that it’s a priority here. Each instructor brings their own unique style and vibe to the class, not only in the movements, but with their playlists too! I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful space and community Kristin has created.

Lighthouse is a joyous place to have a consistent fitness routine that makes me feel strong and fit in everything I do. Thigh work makes days on the ski slope a lot more enjoyable and arm and shoulder work makes swimming in the ocean or pool much easier. I love lighthouse fitness! The classes are as fun as they are challenging. You get to push yourself as much as you want/need. Kristin is welcoming and inspiring.
