Lagree is a great option for a low impact strength workout. It is hard and it takes time for you to develop the proper technique, but when you do - the results are outstanding!!
The owner and instructors are well trained and work hard for you. The technique requires certification and continued education and it is obvious that the team there values that.
I appreciate the class schedule too. The owner encourages feedback and truly values your opinion. She has adjusted class types and times many times based off of client feedback.
I love this workout (even though my facial expression at 6am says otherwise- lol.) Try it! You won’t be disappointed, only sore!!

I took abs and a$$ when I was visiting Spokane and overall thought it was an okay workout. The instructor wasn’t super clear on her cues for body placement and action. I was having to take a pause before each new exercise for her to re-explain how the exercise was performed.
I did enjoy her language revolving around science and how certain movements cause strain in unwanted areas. I would’ve loved more motivational speech, clear instruction, less fans (it was very cold), upbeat louder music, and more options for amplifications/modifications and variations. Space was nice, machines were well kept, and instructor was kind.

Lagree is one of the most effective all-body workouts I have ever done. Each class is designed to work all the muscle groups and the slow pace of each move increases the intensity and effectiveness. The teachers at Mdrn Fitness are all excellent, with well thought-out class plans, great music and great cueing. If you are looking to take your workouts to a whole new level, give Lagree at Mdrn Fitness a try! You won't regret it!

Love this studio! One of the best lagree studios. . The owner is amazing and so friendly. Her classes and the vibe of the studio is amazing .This studio cares about their members and wants to make sure they receive maximum results based on your potential. I’m also a lover of cardio and the fact they offer VersaClimber is ZERO impact. I have scoliosis and terrible back pain so I need low impact. The lagree method is already a great way to train to prevent injury but adding that cardio definitely took it up a notch. And I love that!

I've taken 6 classes so far at MDRNfitness and boy am I hooked! The instructors are great but most of all, the classes make you WORK but they are so WORTH IT! I'm already feeling stronger specifically in my core area and being able to get in the moves and stay in them longer each time. Amber and the team are so nice & super helpful in helping newbies like me learn the moves and proper form!

I haven't enjoyed a workout this much in years. MDRN is a lovely, clean, bright studio. The instructors are friendly and patient , and are excellent at cueing and keeping focus on good form and safety, even when class attendees have varied experience. Lagree is an amazing, all body strengthening/lengthening workout, but oh-so easy on the bones and joints. Try it, you'll be hooked!

I had a back injury last winter and started with MDRN in April to strengthen my core and back. Wow-these workouts have really improved my overall strength and flexibility! The workouts are varied, fun, and easy on your joints. The instructors do a great job of watching and correcting for anything that may result in an injury or soreness.
I recommend this for people of all ages who want to work on strength, flexibility, and mobility.

Dreams do come true! I am beyond happy Amber opened the first Lagree studio in Spokane! I have done Lagree for over a decade and was so sad to learn there weren't any studios in Spokane when moved here 3 years ago. I just tried my first class at MDRNfitness and LOVED it. Feels so good to be back in the studio again!
Lagree is one of the hardest strength training work outs you can do while at the same time it's very forgiving on the joints. You'll raise your heart rate, sweat, and shake while moving as slowly as possible under constant tension. You'll see visible changes in your body from doing this work out. Don't be intimidated by the amazing brand new megaformers in the studio. Amber the owner and lead instructor was great at helping new clients become familiar with the equipment and how to use it. She also helped critique my form while doing the exercises. There is always a way to modify to make things less or more challenging depending on what you are looking for.

I'm not a 'gym guy' by any means. I will avoid a gym at all costs, but this is different. My wife was introduced to the Lagree workout program at MDRN Fitness and after a few days of resistance, I finally gave in and joined her for for a workout. I was hooked on day one! The low impact strength training is exactly what I needed. After only 2 weeks of membership, I feel I have a new lease on life. My activities I enjoy like ice hockey, snow skiing, snow shoeing, hunting and walking the dog have become effortless with my improved strength and balance. My days are simply better! I have recommended this program to my teammates and any friends who will give me 2 minutes of time to explain the program and encourage joining. I want to share my success story with anyone who will listen. I encourage you to give it a try. Hopefully will be as addicted to your physical fitness as I have become. And like the website touts, it will empower your life through strong body and string mind as it has mine.
