I can’t recommend Methow Combat Club highly enough. Over the past year+, Gunnar has been working directly with our brew team to ensure that everyone at my business is using proper lifting techniques — which has made a huge difference in preventing injuries and improving strength. He’s clearly very knowledgeable about safe lifting and strength training fundamentals.
What sets Gunnar and his apart is the level of genuine engagement and professionalism: Gunnar takes the time to work one-on-one with each employee, meets us where we’re at physically, and places real emphasis on safety and proper form. On top of that, he’s approachable, patient, and communicates clearly. He is always willing to answer questions or walk someone through how to do something right.

I’ve never been someone who enjoys going to a gym before but last year chronic pain and aging started putting a major dent in my enjoyment of outdoor recreation so it was time to make a change. I started doing strength training with Gunnar six months ago, and the experience has been transformative.
