I offer Certified Pilates Method instruction, adapted to your body. Teaching all ages and abilities since 2007. Complement your session with Ortho-Bionomy® (gentle osteopathic based bodywork technique) to enhance the therapeutic qualities of the Pilates lesson when desired.

For mobile Equine Ortho-Bionomy®, please call/text or email for scheduling. This is gentle and highly effective bodywork for any equine.

Anna has been working on me for about a year now. From the beginning she earned my trust and confidence though careful listening, calm presence and skillful application of her craft.

I appreciate that her adjustments are gentle and effective. I definitely experience challenge during the Pilates exercises, but nothing we have done is painful or scary.

Sometimes after a session I will have an immediate experience with my body that will be brand new! A lightness, mobility or ease that I had never known. These feelings don't usually last a long time, but I can feel the combined effects of her treatment creating more ease in my body. My movement and posture feel smoother and cleaner. I am grateful for her work and care.

I am a Pilates instructor and I have rented Anna’s beautiful, Midori Pilates and Bodywork studio on a weekly basis for the past three years to work privately with a client.

It is a wonderful space with great energy and light. Anna has created a lovely studio that comes with a ton of Pilates machine options and prop items to use with clients. The studio is also in a convenient location and provides ample parking for clients.

I have been going to Midori for the past few months and it has been a great experience! I am not a pilates expert, but had taken some basic mat classes a while back and was used to the intense "drill sergeant" teacher type of approach. Anna surprised me, as her approach to the practice is quite different. Actually, she took everything I thought I knew about exercise and really turned it upside down - it's been very enlightening. She has really helped me improve my understanding of my body, its form and physiology, and how to move it in ways that I have never before experienced. Instead of the typical exercise classes focused on wearing you out, I leave Anna's class feeling relaxed and full of energy. Also, she sequences her classes very well. She has been great about starting with the basics, ensuring a strong foundation, and growing a bit every class. Anna's personality puts you at ease, which has really helped me focus my mind on my body during class. Overall, taking her classes has been a very rewarding and healing experience filled with learning plenty of new things. I highly recommend!

I first started visiting Midori Pilates after a spinal injury last summer (and after many years of only marginally successful physical therapy to address body imbalances). In the time since I started working with Anna, I have gone from feeling like my body was an unwieldy object barely under my control to creating a lasting mind and body connection where things flow more naturally and smoothly. Anna has shown me how connected all my muscles and fascia are. She also introduced me to the benefits of Ortho-bionomy to further help my body learn to self-regulate and maintain balance. I have tried several forms of bodywork over the years, and nothing has "re-wired" my nervous system quite like it. These days, even when I sprain or strain something from overdoing it, I am able to recover within hours or days as opposed to weeks or months. Anna has a gracious demeanor and our sessions are always the right amount of challenging and restorative. I have been working with Anna for a few years now.
I went to see her after I was having urinary incontinence issues- after the birth of my first (he’s now 3.5) and was reading online that pilates is a great tool for strengthening the core and pelvic floor.
I’m happy to say that my issues went away after numerous weekly sessions with Anna, and I did pilates up until 8 months pregnant with my second (now 9 months old) and I really think doing pilates helped make my second birth as quick and successful as it was.
I also didn’t experience incontinence after the birth of my 2nd baby- I totally attribute this to having a stronger pelvic floor via pilates.
Aside from postpartum strengthening, my sessions with Anna always leave me feeling most excellent. Grounded and on a higher vibration- I really feel my body almost buzzing in a beautiful, harmonious and energetic way.
Anna has a great eye for form and a kind gentle manner.
She truly is a healer and is very attuned to the body and it’s mechanics.
I 100% recommend Anna and always look forward to my weekly sessions- the ultimate gift to myself and “mom time”
Also recently I was introduced to Ortho-Bionomy by Anna after a car accident and am totally hooked.
What an amazing practice- I got a huge benefit from only one session. I have been dealing with neck pain for 18 years and only had temporary relief from chiropractic and massage, one session of Ortho-Bionomy with Anna and my neck is soo much better, literally hasn’t felt this good since I was a teenager.
