I went to an early morning vinyasa class where the description said all levels welcome. However, the instructor didn't do the class, she read from her phone for the first 5 minutes and then just said what to do. So if you're a beginner and you need things modeled, this is not the studio to go to. Also, with other places I've been to, yoga is a physical and spiritual practice. This was just physical movement with no spiritual component, although a lot of corporate places are like that these days.

Went here for a sound bath with a friend once maybe a year / year and a half ago and it was one of the most relaxing experiences of my life. The space was a great temp, the studio was beautiful, and there were blankets and cushions and weighted bags (don’t know what else to call these lol) available for use.

Attending the Sound Bath Training at MindBodyHum with Nicole was a truly transformative experience. Her depth of knowledge, care, and presence created such a grounded and inspiring space to learn. This training went far beyond how to facilitate a sound bath — it deepened my understanding of sound, energy, and connection in ways that continue to resonate in my daily life. Nicole’s thoughtful guidance helped me feel safe and supported every step of the way. The sense of community she cultivated among our group was something really special. I’m so grateful for this experience and highly recommend it to anyone drawn to this work.

I’m down for the weekend from Alaska and love a good yin meditation, so I figured I’d try their Saturday morning class. Anyway! The space was so welcoming and everyone was super helpful and kind. There’s a front desk right inside the door and a little tablet to check in. They have a few mats for rent and lockers for your stuff. The instructor got me oriented to the space and was so warm (I’m so sorry to the instructor, I was too anxious and forgot your name but you are lovely! 😅). If you’re a fellow anxious girly, 10/10 would recommend! 💕

The best morning yoga in Seattle. Alicia is great. Dave Penenga is great. Every teacher is different. The facility is beautiful and very clean. They have excellent vinyasa, yin yoga and sound bath classes throughout the day, as well.

I’ll be back in Seattle SPECIFICALLY to go to this studio! I left Seattle almost 5 years ago this month but have never found a studio quite like this one. It’s my favorite! I can’t wait to walk in and surprise my old friends. ❤️

Andrea offered a private class for our bachelorette party weekend, and it was such a fun experience. She brought the fun energy, leaned into the sisterhood bonding, and had some fun surprise personal touches to the yoga class. Not to mention, she had a fantastic playlist. 10/10 recommend.

I felt completely recharged through the Vinyasa flow and meditation session.
Although I didn’t have a reservation, I was warmly welcomed—thank you for that!
I’m so glad to have found a place in Seattle where I can maintain my yoga routine during a business trip or vacation.
Yoga mats are available for rent, and water is also available for purchase, which is very convenient.

Mind Body Hum has been one of my favorite studios in the city for the past few years! All of the teachers I've met have been kind and helpful with modifications and flow when needed. Last year, I also did the sound bowl apprenticeship with Scott, and I really enjoyed the time and his teaching style.
I normally wouldn't comment on the aesthetics of a yoga space because I don't think that is how you should choose where to practice. But I think it’s important to mention that the space has been designed with so much thought in the details that whenever I have taken a class I just feel better being in the space! The sense of calm the space evokes allows me to go deeper into my own practice!

I was so excited to attend a soundbowl healing class. I picked up a friend an hour and a half before the class started, in Tacoma. I drove up and there was absolutely no parking anywhere, so I dropped off my friend. I found parking up the hill and over a few blocks away in a parking garage. I went to the yoga studio and there was a sign up saying no late arrivals. While I understand not causing disruption during the sound bowl class, I don’t understand not returning my phone calls during business hours. I would have liked my $150 I spent to either be returned or credited to another class. I was wanted to check this experience out to determine if I wanted to take the sound bath training. Now I won’t be back. Beware of them taking your money!

M.B.H is by far my favorite yoga studio in the Seattle area, with a great vibe and thoughtfully designed interior. Instructors at M.B.H consistently offer high-quality and thoughtful instruction. Especially Nina’s vinyasa class is truly one of a kind. Her creative flows make each session feel fresh and inspiring, and I always leave feeling fulfilled. She’s wonderful at accommodating all levels, including beginners or those with injuries, making everyone feel welcome and supported.

Loved the early morning 6:15 am option! There were maybe 5 other students in the warm vinyasa class so plenty of room. Love the dim lighting before sunrise and the beautiful sunrise that comes through by class end with the downtown sky line in the window (mostly frosted). Easy to find free streetside parking (paid ~8a-8p). Great workout !

Gorgeous studio and very friendly and knowledgeable teachers. I absolutely love the sound baths—the acoustics are amazing and there are so many props available for any guest to get comfortable. Most of my yin sessions and sound baths were with Laura; she has a very soothing presence and does a great job holding the integrity of the space for everyone attending. The other teachers I had for yin and vinyasa were also fantastic :) would definitely recommend

Update - classes are getting busy! I am booking a week in advance to make sure I get a spot since the soundbaths have been full. - OP - This studio is incredible. I have been attending classes for a little over a year and between the beautiful space, the kind and authentic staff and the widely varied classes, I am grateful they have opened. I am considering attending their yearly retreat, and always looking for new classes to try out. I travel all the way from central district, and it's more than worth the trip.

I live across Lake Washington and I do not hesitate to drive to this lovely studio. My favorite is the 90 minutes Yoga Immersion class which includes a proper build up and cool down, along with a challenging practice. I feel energized and loose after that class. The soundbath Yin class is also excellent and unique to the studio. The gong size definitely matters in this case... lol

I recently visited Mind Body Hum in Seattle for the first time, booking through ClassPass, and had a wonderful experience. I attended the Yin yoga sound bath class, and it was truly relaxing.
The studio has a calming and welcoming atmosphere, providing a perfect escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help with any questions or needs.
The yoga classes are well-structured, and the studio itself is clean and beautiful. For first-timers, it might take a few sessions to get accustomed to the flow of the classes and some of the terminology used, but overall, it's a great place to find balance and relaxation. I highly recommend Mind Body Hum to anyone looking to enhance their physical and mental well-being.

I am in love with this studio. I signed up for the first 30-days unlimited for $40 pass, I've been to 4 different sessions so far, and each one has been amazing.
Mind.Body.Hum is so much more than a yoga studio. The instructors I've met are genuine, well-trained and knowledgeable, and inviting. I found this place looking for a sound bath, and will stay for the welcome, excellent facilities, and broad spectrum of class types as I work to rebuild my strength, stamina, and flexibility after years of surgeries and inactivity.

Mind.Body.Hum has become my refuge away from the chaos and stress of the world. A place where I can reconnect with inner stillness and find peace. I haven’t had the opportunity to practice with all the teachers yet, but I’ve completed almost 30 classes in the past two months and I can’t recommend this place enough. The teachers are humble, knowledgeable, and just plain cool.
Nina is the first teacher I’ve been to who incorporates beautiful poetry and song, that will bring you to tears or fill you with joy, in her Yin Yoga and Sound Baths. Mike has an awareness of the energy of the room and is able to subtly shift it into a deep and transformative state in his Restorative Yoga/Sound Bath class. Nadine brings refreshing joy and intensity, with an attention to detail and focus in her Vinyasa and Sound Baths. Nicole’s mastery of mind and body can lead you into awareness and depth in her Vinyasa and Yoga Nidra classes. Scott creates an incredible soundscape with Gongs unlike any I’ve seen or experienced during his Restorative Yoga/Gong Bath class.
I’m so thankful I’ve had the opportunity to join this studio and excited to continue my practice here.

I’m sure this is a lovely place but there’s absolutely no parking nearby. I arrived ten mins early but there was no bike rack to lock my bike. By the time I was able to find a bike rack and walk back I was two minutes past the hour and the doors were locked. I respect starting the class at time and not allowing late arrivals to interrupt but I am leaving this review for future bikers that wish to come to this studio: the nearest bike rack is on 1st avenue next to the federal office
Hoping the management can look into a small bike storage / rack or leaving instructions for the nearest parking spot.

I'm so thankful to have found a gorgeous studio with authentic and engaging staff. Recovering from injuries and a sedentary pandemic, I've found a place to restore and reset my body and mind.
While I am working towards the warm vinyasa, I've taken advantage of Yin and Restorative yoga. The gong and sound baths are truly incredible paired with gentle and thorough stretches.
Additionally, the meditation classes prove a tremendous benefit as I've always found it difficult to quiet the mind.
Finding parking can take a few minutes but very doable, you can cancel a class up to 2 hrs beforehand without incurring a charge.

Don’t take your practice here.
They took my reservation and money but still didn’t save me a spot. Instead they let someone else walk in to pocket that extra buck.
Could’ve at least applied the credit towards a future class to redeem themselves

My partner and I signed up for yoga via ClassPass and arrived at the studio 4 mins before the class start but the studio said there are only one available spot left because apparently we need to check in online prior to class otherwise they open the spots for waitlist 5 mins before the class starts. This is not a common practice for yoga studios and I received no communication from ClassPass nor from the studio that online check in is required. Extremely disappointing experience.

Thanks to Google, I discovered this gem. Started by with Scott's Meditation - WARM VINYASA - Restorative Sound-Bath(2hrs!) and moving to another morning vinyasa(6:15am) class and afternoon(4:15pm) yin yoga class. It has given me the strength and healing for both my mind and body. They are so kind and genuine and the practices keep me excited to attend at least two class every days a week. I highly recommend this yoga studio and it is by far my favorite in Seattle. If you’re looking for an authentic yoga experience look no further than Mind.Body.Hum.
I'll be here every morning again when I come back to Seattle.

MindBodyHum is probably the most beautiful studio in Seattle, and unique because it's actually two studios in one - warm vinyasa in the Humble Warrior studio, and meditation, restorative and yin yoga, and sound healing in Silent Hum studio. Come for a warm vinyasa class and then stay for a meditation or sound bath. All of the teachers are kind, inclusive, and experts at what they do. Whether you're looking for a long-term community or just passing through Seattle, this studio is a must!

I have been attending Mike's classes here for several months, and I can confidently say these have been the best yoga classes I've ever taken in 10 years of practice (and countless studios). He is that special kind of instructor who can both create an inclusive, positive environment and consistently helping me grow in my practice. The studio itself is *so* beautiful — a real work of art. Every detail has clearly been considered carefully in the design of the space, which I am sure significantly contributes to the experience I have in these classes. Highly recommend.

Some say I’m a lucky guy and I think they are right! Being new to the greater Seattle area still and trying to figure out a consistent lifestyle flow, finding a great yoga studio with a great instructor goes a long way for me! I took my 2nd Monday morning class here before writing this review and i feel I have found a way to have a consistent practice/start to my week by taking the Monday morning class. Come start your week off with the 6:15am Monday morning class or try this place for yourself. Street Parking is pretty easy in the morning because parking meters do not start until 8am 😁 and roads are empty. This place is clean and sanitized, come ready to get your “mind.body.hum” on! FYI I am a true beginner too

As a first timer at Mind Body Hum I’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I had purchased a class referred by an instructor and an hour before class Ibegan to experience covid symptoms. I reached out via email and voicemail. Per their policy I had to cancel my class 2 hours in advance but only experienced my symptoms an hour before so I was unable to cancel. I received an email from Scott Francis and they are unable to credit my paid purchase towards another class. I’m very disappointed as I represent a large spa of four locations in Seattle and I was unable to be properly accommodated through customer service.

Beautiful new studio, go to Scott’s class! When I was there in May, masks were still required in class which made the practice a bit harder and annoying to wear the mask. The showers were also closed. I would definitely return when the showers are open and there isn’t a mask requirement during practice while you are in the mat for those who are fully vaccinated. The only cons of this location are that the bathrooms are shared with the building and you have to go through a hallway and enter a code and parking can be challenging. Otherwise, the studio space is beautiful and Scott’s 2-hour classes can’t be missed!

This space is beautiful and welcoming to all, Scott Francis has strived to create a beautiful studio that produces the true art of the yogi practice. I would highly recommend that anyone seeking a studio take their business here. They are LBTQ friendly and strive to create an amazing experience for all who attend their classes.
