No customer service and she clearly doesn’t like her job. The gym is filthy and none of the equipment ever works properly. This used to be an amazing gym. My husband and I were members at MUV Fitness for about six months. When we had to leave for over-the-road work, we tried to cancel our membership—simple, right? Apparently not. They insisted we were locked into a one-year contract, something we absolutely did not sign or agree to. Instead of helping us, they forced a huge cancellation fee on us.

It was frustrating, unprofessional, and felt deliberately misleading. We would never return and wouldn’t recommend this gym to anyone who values honesty or straightforward business practices.

I like this gym overall it’s clean, has good equipment, and usually not too crowded. The staff are friendly and the location is convenient. However, I had a serious concern about parking lot security. My car was almost broken into twice the first time my license plate was stolen, and the second time someone damaged my door handle and keyhole. I spoke with management, and at first was told there were cameras outside, but later found out there actually aren’t any. That’s disappointing because the parking lot should be safe for members. I really hope management improves outdoor security and installs cameras to protect people’s vehicles.

Dirty Gym, I was tracking a bloody bandaid on the shower floor in the mens locker room for over a month... So they obviously don't clean/mop. At least 4 times I showed up at 5am on weekdays when they say they open at 5am and there was no one to open the gym, members waited outside for 45 minutes before someone showed up to open! This gym also has a very "used car salesman" feel when you sign up, I was called and harassed by personal trainers for a few weeks after declining personal training services.. Then they got a hold of my wife's number (I assume from my emergency contact list) and tried selling her training sessions.. She's not even a member of the gym! I can't count how many times I was approached while working out and was pitched a sales line about Personal training.. Leave people alone for God's sake... No, I don't want PT from someone that looks like they ate McDonald's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner... Sorry.

I recently purchased a membership, went a couple of times, and was upset that the stretching mats were dirty. They even made my fingers dirty, which was very unpleasant. The restrooms are messy, with trash lying around everywhere.
There aren't enough sprays to clean the equipment after use, and I had to walk across the entire gym because there was only one in one place.

Love love love it here is all I can say! As a mom I am always leery of leaving my child in daycare anywhere but I was told from a friend the quality of service is here is amazing from the time you walk in to walk out the customer service is crazy good, and she wasn’t lying! My favorite was the daycare worker Ceanna (hope I spelled it right lol) my daughter had so many nice things to say about her time there she said can I go back, which shocked me because she didn’t even want to stay when we got there! The daycare was full and she handled like a pro for sure I was kept updated along the way that my daughter got settled and was playing fine let know she needed something and I was even able to slip back out to finish my work out without my child worried I was leaving, bittersweet moment lol, definitely recommend it here clean environment great customer service the equipment choices are great and diverse as well as immaculate restrooms, well earned the five stars I’ll definitely be returning!

Gym itself is fine. However, I’ve been borderline harassed by multiple male members. Being hug mid set of a workout by men I barely know, unwanted and uncomfortable compliments etc. NOT a good environment. A lot of the members have poor gym etiquette. Well, I give it 1 star only because it’s required to make this post. AVOID MUV FITNESS altogether. Their main focus is trying to sell you supplements and suckering you into money they won’t return for services not rendered. I was a member for about a year working with strength trainers to try and increase my strength as a woman in her 40s. I actually enjoyed my trainers a lot. But I was constantly asked to buy supplements I wouldn’t use and asked to purchase packages of training sessions at a “discounted price”. After buying my last package, my trainer decided to go somewhere else (again) and my work situation changed which wouldn’t allow me to continue using a trainer. Even though I didn’t use any of my 36 sessions that I bought up front for 1250.00, I was told I couldn’t get my money refunded by Heather because that was “just their policy” I have called twice to talk to someone else in administration to discuss getting a refund and Sheena won’t return any of my calls. Please don’t get suckered into the same mistake I made of paying up front so you can continue to better your health just to find out those that are supposed to support your health journey don’t actually care. I will also be reporting this business tactic to the Better Business Bureau.

Terrible experience. I went in a week ago to sign up for this gym and the guy who signed me up was a little pushy when I said I didn’t want the free personal trainer sessions. Then I find out my work will pay for a gym membership through a different gym. It’s only been a week since I signed up and I went in to cancel the membership today. Upon signing up I paid first months ($20) and last months ($20) upfront. When I canceled today they made me pay an additional $21.80 for “last months.” When I questioned them why I had to pay last months again they said they have to collect anything within the 30 day billing cycle at time of cancellation. When I explained that I already had paid last months upon signing up she said the same thing- we have to collect anything due within the 30 day billing cycle. She then got frustrated that I was questioning it and said she could give my information to her manager and she will get back to me in a week. A WEEK?? Terrible experience.

I am new to the area around here and am in the search of a new gym to go to. I would’ve given this a one star if we hadn’t received collin’s kindess but because of his positive attitude that second star is for him. Be aware that this gym is commission based and extremely pushy of trying to get you to join. At first we had a 7-day free trial because I wanted to check out other gyms in the area before I commit to one and we were first helped by Collin (great guy by the way!) He was so nice and helpful and wasn’t rude when we said we were new to the area and were still looking at other gyms. A week later My partner received an email to book an appointment with kris to talk about the deal going on (friday 8/29- sunday 8/31). As we got there to check in he only talked to my partner first which is fine he is the one who got the text about the appointment but it then escalated when we sat down. He continued to only ask him questions first and was very pushy about asking us why we didn’t want to join right now (We hadn’t looked at other gyms bc we were out of town). I told him we could come back sunday after looking around and he persisted. Saying he doesn’t know if he could get us that good deal on sunday even though we both received a text saying how long the deal goes for. When I said we would come back sunday (again) he then turned to my partner and asked him what he would like to do, as if we aren’t there together. I was so caught off guard and offended by this. I’m used to people talking to the guy first but have never been this ignored and disrespected before. He asked us why we didn’t want to sign up for a membership today and I told him it was because we want to look around and while that is partly true it’s also because of how unwelcoming and disregarded I felt at that meeting. He also didn’t shake our hands or say goodbye or even look at us as we got up he just pouted at his desk when we said no to getting a membership which just made the situation worse, but when we told collin the same thing we got a handshake and a “have a good workout” which made us come back for a meeting. But because of kris’s unwelcoming and disrespectful attitude we will not be gyming here.

This Northside MUV isn't as friendly or clean as the Valley. The shower drains don't drain well and the staff isn't as friendly. The gym itself is ok compared to Spokane Fitness. I picked this over Spokane fitness because of the pickleball courts, however for the same price Spokane fitness is bigger and you can rent lockers and the showers are much bigger and have a place for cleaning products so u don't have to put them on the floor. Plus u can dress in the showers if you choose to. However, the MUV fitness has a better setup for pickleball.

I live 40 minutes away and am limited to the time I can go to the gym, so I have to go at 5am when they first open. Twice in the last two weeks when arriving, no employee was there to open the door at 5am. I waited 10-15 minutes then had to go. Also, this place is way too busy. Even at 5am you have to battle people for machines. It makes planning a workout very difficult.

Update: Also, over the last few months I realize machine maintenance/repair is non existent. There’s a few machines that have been down for repairs for months.
