My daughter has been going here for a little over a month now and she has thoroughly enjoyed the mini beginner girls class! I commend the instructors for making an effort with each kid in the class and helping them individually with specific skills. Thats not easy to do! The instructors have consistently shown their support and effort in helping my child advance with her gymnastics skills. My daughter is thrilled to go back every single time. It has been a good outlet for my daughter and a super fun experience for her! 10/10 recommend:) good vibes all around:)

(Edited review because of the response I received. I’m really glad it was taken seriously, thank you.)

My daughter was invited to a birthday here over the weekend and I will never bring her back. She is 4 and was initially given a written warning for wearing socks inside, though nobody told us she wasn’t allowed to wear socks (it was our first time there!).

I next saw the same employee charge at a 2 year old child and pick him up off of a trampoline (not lightly) and yell at him that one one child is allowed. His mother was standing 4 feet away and could have easily handled it.

Lastly, the exact same employee again charged and yelled at a group of 4 year olds on the trampolines. To say she was angry was an understatement. I understand needing to the follow the rules for safety, I am very much into rule following. But you do NOT yell at or man handle someone else’s child, no matter what.

This is a warning to anyone else thinking of bringing young children, please don’t. Save your time and energy and take them somewhere they are welcome because this place isn’t it.

My three kids have been going to Naydenov for gymnastics for almost three years. We go once a week and have had a variety of coaches. We have really loved several of them. It has been very exciting for me to see how much gymnastics has improved not only their balance, strength and coordination (they are such better skiers because of it) but also their confidence in so many other areas. I strongly believe it has had a huge positive impact on all three kids. Last winter my middle child was not sure he wanted to keep doing gymnastics until he started working with Coach Gabe. Gabe is the perfect coach for my little boy. He’s enthusiastic, engaged, and encouraging. My son is all about gymnastics again and loves working with Coach Gabe towards his goals and β€œgetting stronger.” Just wanted to say thank you to Naydenov, all the coaches, especially Coach Gabe, for the positive influence they have had on my family.

My daughter has been attending classes at Naydenov for about 2 years and she has learned so much. She loves her coaches! Coach Chris is wonderful. As my daughter told me, he's always prepared for his classes, he has high standards but is encouraging and fun, and he helps support kids as they learn and achieve goals. She has also really enjoyed working with Coaches Helen, Richard, and Gabriel.

Yesterday was a rough day. For both me and the front desk/office lady.
It ended much better, especially when having to deal with a manager.
Chris is a wonderful coach and leader. I can see why he's the manager, and other staff are where they are.
He LISTENED, VALIDATED, and RESPECTED our hardship.
He put up the extra effort, where other employees lacked.
I respect the management and ownership of this place.
Thank you for still accepting my child even after I blew up on other under-trained staff for delivering false information.

My daughter has really enjoyed being in Coach Chris's class at Naydenov! He has been working with her to get her round off back handspring down, and gives great direction and pointers to help her understand what she needs to work on. She always looks forward to class with him, and we have been so proud to see her growth and improvements. We also have appreciated his willingness to connect with us after class to let us know how she's doing, too. Thanks so much for all you do, Coach Chris!

Coach Chris at Naydenov is fantastic! He’s been working with my daughter on mastering her back handspring, and we’ve been so impressed. He’s incredibly patient, positive, and knows exactly how to motivate and encourage her. She looks forward to every session with him, and we’re already seeing big improvements. Thank you, Chris, for being such an awesome coach!

There are small group gymnastics lessons and also competitions. There's rope climbing, trampolines, foam pits, bars, balance beams, and more. The instructors are professional and personable. I changed my rating from four stars to two because of one of the staff. I didn't get her name, but she seemed to be in charge of the upstairs birthday parties. I observed her being abrasive with some of the parents and children who were in an area around a corkscrew slide that led to the first floor. Small children are playing upstairs while their sibling(s) are in their gymnastics classes. Kids are naturally drawn to the fun slide which is located in one of the birthday party areas. I suggest that the slide be moved to an area that won't be used for a party. I feel that this would eliminate some of the arguments between this employee and parents and their tearful toddlers. This repeated conflict led to our granddaughter's dad pulling her out of this gym and enrolling her elsewhere for gymnastics.

Our experience at Naydenov gymnastics over the past 3 years has been amazing. All of the teachers and staff are incredibly experienced, patient and kind. My daughters first coach, Chris was and still is her favorite out of all of them but they are all great in their own ways. She's learned so much in 3 years and is now on a pre-team and thriving. I am so happy that I brought her here. It's been a wonderful and life changing experience for us!

My daughter has been attending Naydenov for over a year, and our experience has been great. The classes are reasonably priced, last a full hour, and run year-round without long breaks. Scheduling make-ups or switching classes is easy, with no extra fees. They offer a variety of classes, including dance, and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

I’ve seen real progress in my daughter’s skills, and she feels comfortable with all the teachers. The upstairs area is spacious, with great views of the gym, tables, free Wi-Fi, a play area, TV, arcade games and a small cafe. Parking can get crowded during busy hours, but overall, I highly recommend this place!

Wow!! Got to speak with the owner and all I can say is what impressive character! He only had nice things to say about other gymnastics places in the area. That speaks levels of his integrity and character! This place is huge! It's very clean, the people are super friendly, and they have so much to offer including a pre-school option and birthday parties! The prices are on par with other extracurricular activities and the schedule is pretty vast. They have snacks available during the weekdays at reasonable prices and even make their pizzas in a pizza oven onsite. There are some vending machines and a few arcade games and they even break out a bounce house on open gym days! If our gymnastics experience is anything like our initial tour, we are in for years of training and fun here!

Parking is an absolute nightmare. There are maybe 80 parking spots but weeknights there are 300+ families trying to park. I have witnessed people arguing over parking spots, even yelling curse words and throwing middle fingers to each other, in front of children. I have brought this up to the front desk twice, including asking when the parking lot will be extended and was basically told it is what it is.

The construction nextdoor closing half the parking lot is unacceptable. Either open it back up or stop adding so many classes during peak hours. Having everyone forced to park across the street at Safeway, in front of signs saying parking for Safeway customers only, β€œViolators will be towed” is not a sustainable solution.

FIX YOUR PARKING LOT!

This past weekend my grand daughter, Gracie, participated in her first competition at level 3. Preparing for this competition the coaching has been outstanding. Primarily, she has been coached by Ali, Emma and Manuela. She has had growth not only in her athleticism but also emotional and mental strength. I watched Coach Ali and Coach Emma equally bring out the very best of the level 3 team girls at competition. No, my grand daughter did not stand on the podium but she won in so many other ways. Thank you Naydenov Gymnastics and a special thank you to the marvelous coaching. Bravo!

Starting off by saying I really enjoyed my experience while I was able to attend with my daughter in the parent tot class. Miss Adelee is the best and we love her! I was given two gift cards to Nadenov which was such a blessing because we would not be able to afford classes otherwise. I signed my daughter up and turned in a gift card. It was during the winter months so I ended up getting really sick and missed some weeks of classes. When I called to schedule the make up classes from being sick and un able to attend- I was told I would have to pay for the classes that I missed. I realize it was out of the session that I originally signed up for but again, I was very sick and could not go for several weeks. I called and signed my daughter back up after a few weeks when I was feeling better and attended one class and both my daughter and I got strep throat so we were not able to attend for two weeks. I called again when we were feeling better to schedule make up classes but was told I would have to pay for the two weeks of missed classes. I have handed them the two gift cards I had and was told I owed over $140 in fees! Again, this was a gift to us and could not afford the late fees that accrued. After speaking to the front desk and getting no where in my explanations of all this- I ended up having to use the gift cards to pay for the missed classes instead of using it on actually being able to attend class. I am very sad about this experience as I wanted my toddler to learn to like gymnastics like I did growing up. I myself attended over 10 years of gymnastics and have fond memories going to Gold Star Gymnastics when they were here. I will have to try someplace else and hope others don't face the same sad experience here.

Came here for a birthday party. Heard there was a fee for the table spot for the party of 200.00 and then a 20.00 fee per kid for 2hrs total. They were told they had to 2pm. The host (employee) was dumping drinks and food from the table at 1:53 is when I noticed it. She dumped kids and adults drinks and food they were still eating!! I guess she ended up apologizing to the lady throwing the party but I would have been so mad. She was literally kicking them out even though they were starting to clean up and would have moved things for people rather than throwing them out. I do think 20.00 per kid is a bit steep considering it takes at least a hr to do food and presents and cake. So really you are paying 20.00 for 1 hour of play time . Not sure I would go here Again.

Mixed feelings about this gym. I have heard that Coach Chris (who is absolutely amazing) is the β€œManager” for the preschool and rec program. If that is the case, I really wish the owner would let him actually manage and train the other coaches.

Unfortunately, after nearly 3 years at Naydenov starting in Parent Tot when our daughter was 2 years old… we have experienced a significant gap in instructor quality.

While Coach Chris and Coach Addie (Adalee) are what I would call the creme de le creme (the type of coach who arrives early to set up a fun yet challenging obstacle course for their class because they really care)…

For reasons I *cannot* fathom, management not only employs but appears to put high on a pedestal, instructors like Irina. She shows up just as her class is starting; she lets the preschoolers take multiple water breaks during a 45 min class while she sips her starbucks / checks her smartwatch / flips her hair and socializes; she does the SAME things class after class, rarely challenging or introducing something new; and she seems resistant (or just doesn’t care) to offer corrections so that the children will learn proper technique and actually progress. For example, after months in the same class doing the same things, when I asked Irina what skills my child would need to move to the next level, she said a cartwheel. I had NEVER seen her teach cartwheels. Very frustrating to say the least.

When asked why we haven’t gone somewhere else, I point to the coaches of great caliber who encourage us to stay enrolled and stick with their program (this includes team coaches). And, I say that SAFETY, not instructor quality, is #1 to me which Naydenov excels at, IMO. I wish they would evaluate the instructors by sending out anonymous feedback surveys to the parents, so they could actually know how they’re performing and what to improve on.

If you care about your childs mental health do NOT let your child join the Xcel team. The head coach does not care about your child. She has her favorites and it will be obvious. My daughter was bullied all season and ignored when she tried to talk to coaches. After several conversations with coaches and me about the issues it only got worse. Until these girls cornered her in the locker room and began harrassing her. I called and left a message with the coach and recieved several nasty text messages back. I tried talking to the owner and he talked over me the entire time. He assurd me it would be handled but I doubt it will. Dont waste your money.

My son is 5 and has mild global growth delays with widespread hypotonia and retained reflexes. Special needs parents will know what all that means. I could not keep up with his exercises (I have health issues mysefl) and his OT suggested gymnastics classes.

I choose Naydenov because of how easy it is to find a class (they have many), how affordable it is, and because of the high recommendation from my sister. I'm so glad I did! We have had the blessing of working with Ms. Adalee in a one-on-one basis (the other classmates haven't come to class yet so it's just the two of them).

I can tell right away that the movements she does with him challenge his retained reflexes in multiple ways without being impossible for him to do. She teaches him with simple instructions, fun games, and is sometimes hands-on if he needs assistance. She's always very encouraging.

I was really worried that the teacher would not be accommodating, or that he would be asked to do things he just couldn't, but none of those things happened and it's really just been lovely to go there every week. We both look forward to it.

When he's worked very hard or hit a milestone, she gives him a ribbon that he gets very excited about and shows to grandma and grandpa and he just really enjoys his time there.

Staff here is incredibly rude and unwelcoming. Especially the front desk ladies. Their auto-pay system doesn’t work and they get upset with customers because they can’t figure out how to properly bill. Do not take your kids here if they have special needs. I scheduled my sons birthday party here. I let them know my son has specail needs and that i would need to be on the floor to help him and they told me i could stand at the edge and watch but couldn't be on the trampoline to help and i could not go into the foam pit. I let them know i would respect safety rules and only have one at a time on the trampoline and they still said i couldnt take my turn on the trampoline or go in the foam pit. I let them know i was going to envite some of my sons friends who also have specail needs and that i couldn't envite them if they wouldn't allow their parents to be out there to help them. They said they stand by their rules. I asked to have the owner or a manager call me and they said they would and i never got a call back. Very hurtful that i can't bring my son who has autism to have a party here like any other kids just because they wouldn't allow me to help my son. Guess my money will go else where.

Every time I've come here on free play Sunday, the staff starts to tear down the soft tumbling objects 35 minutes early and place them against the wall so children will not play there. Why? So they can leave right at 7? This is a huge inconvenience for us who want to watch our children play with all equipment until the end. Parents then have to bring the equipment back out.

We love Naydenov gymnastics! Our girls have been going here for over 5 years and we have never had any complaints or issues about the program and it’s coaches/employees. Many of the coaches have been working at Naydenov for years which says a lot about the program. Coach Chris has been working at Naydenov for a long time and is so professional and kind. He always seems to be in a good mood and takes individual time and is very patient with all the kids he works with. I would and do recommend Naydenov to all of my friends and family. They have several programs, not just gymnastics for kids of all ages and skill level. We love parents night out on Saturday’s from 6:30-10:30. They keep the kids engaged and active in free play and planned activities with plenty of supervision for $20 a child. So worth it! 😊

I have been bringing my two daughters to Naydenov for about a year now. My older daughter is in level 3 and I have to give a shout out to coach Ali K. She is such a fantastic coach and she keeps the girls in line while teaching them what they need to know to master a skill. She watches their form and pushes them to do the best that they can do. My oldest was previously at swag gymnastics but they had to shut down due to renovations and Ali used to be a coach there and my daughter absolutely loves her. So when we found out that she was at Naydenov we were super happy to jump right in. For awhile she also taught the mini beginning class which my 5 year old is a part of and she loved her as a coach as well. I can’t say enough great things about her and the gym. Such great communication and great service!

I took the adult tumbling classes. The first 30 minutes were guided, the hour after warm up was open gym and we could do whatever we wanted for one hour. While this is nice if you know what you’re doing, I considered it unsafe due to my lack of gymnastics experience and did not like being on my own. As a side note, the foam pit is dangerous, it does not have a trampoline under it and is not up to regulations. A new gym is being built but until then I would reconsider having your child attend this place.

This was by far the nastiest smelling place I have ever been in my life. I can't believe Vancouver let's a place like this stay in business. Went there for a birthday party and couldn't even stay in the building because it smelled so bad. Absolutely disgusting and way over priced. For a birthday party save you hard earned $$$ and go anywhere in the world but this place. Absolutely disgusting.

Just a heads up to parents. They do NOT require ID or any verification for an adult to pick up kids. My kids were there for what I believe was called the parents night out. They were there for birthday thing with other kids. I was kind of put off by being told "oh you can just go get them" by one of the staff members, didnt ask me who I was or checked with the kids to make sure it was okay to go with me.
Called and talked to a manager who said "that's the way we've done it and haven't had any issues".

We just love Naydenov! I've put 2 out of my 3 boys in their preschool program and will without a doubt put my 3rd in when he's old enough! Miss Vanya is the best gym teacher! She's very kind and so encouraging to my boys. I'd recommend this place to everyone I know! Miss Heather and Miss Ruth are such gems... I feel so lucky to have found this wonderful pre-school and for these amazing teachers who invest into my children.

This is our second year attending Naydenov Preschool. After touring several other preschools this one stood out because of their warm and experienced teachers.

We came to Naydenov during a time of transition and needed a safe and consistent space where my 3 year old (now 4) could learn and play. What we found was so much more, you would be hard pressed to find such patient and loving teachers as Mrs. Ruth and Mrs. Heather. During our first year at the preschool we saw a dramatic difference in her self esteem and self control. But more than that it felt like we had a group of people that saw us struggling and wanted to help.

They really do love the kids they teach, it is truly a blessing to have teachers who see the children as a delight and not as problems to solve. They get to know them in a way that the children feel seen and important. They treat each child as an individual and are quick to complement and offer support.

We would never leave if we could, the real world is so much different than this gentle space they have created in their classroom. We will remember them forever, and are already savoring these last few months with them.

Naydenov Gymnastics has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She had learned a lot and the coaches are wonderful. She has taken a great liking to coach Chris. He is exceptional with his student, the kids seem to have a lot of fun in his classes and learn the skills needed to progress. Thank you to everyone that has made my daughter gymnastics experience wonderful so far.

My daughter is an upper level gymnast here, and she is thrilled with the new coaching staff! She’s attended two other gyms prior to Naydenov, but this program is the best suited for a serious gymnast who wants to work hard and get better at her sport. The owner and the optional coaches (Randi, Dimitri, Marci) are supportive and knowledgeable, and the owner sees to it that the equipment they need is there and that their practice needs are met. My daughter tells me that Naydenov is really the perfect place to train now! So happy!!!

They have no one capable of working with special needs/autistic kids.......in response to your answer to me. Yes management was spoken with, and there was nothing that was done for us besides asking us to leave. And yes I know you have a "special" class on Wednesday. I have a friend who has a special needs daughter, she took that class. She hasn't come back to that class because it doesn't have the required criteria (certified staff, dedicated space) .

They have large rooms, so you have plenty of room for kiddo’s and parents. They give you a coach for your party and there is something for every single child, EVERYONE has a great time! Thank you so much Naydenov Gymnastics!

First off parents make sure to read all the reviews before enrolling your children in this gym!My 7 year old daughter was enrolled in July she was super excited to learn. The last two weeks my daughters excitement was over when i found out that my daughter was being punished and put down by one of the coaches only because she wasnt able to do a hand stand the right way. (Have in mind she was in the beginners class with Helen )She was asked to do it right or she wouid be put in time out! Yes, I went in and talked to the person in charge which I wasnt sure if it was the owner or not. I explain my concerned and he basically called my daughter a liar! I immediately dropped my daughter from this awful gym.No coach should ever put down a child or put them in time out speacially when parents(myself) are paying for the classes. Hope they start being more profesional!

We love the Naydenov Preschool!
We have been so impressed with the teachers and the environment at Naydenov Preschool, our son looks forward to school asking every day if he gets to go and he has learned so much this past year. When he started he didn't have too much interest in learning the alphabet or even the alphabet song (he's a numbers guy!) And now he's writing his name! He's learned so much more than I would've ever imagined in his first year of preschool... Miss Ruth & Miss Heather are absolutley amazing teachers! We are so pleased with our experience here!

I have three daughters (4, 7, and 8), and my niece (5) taking lessons here. This is a REAL gymnastics academy. They do everything from all access birthday parties, to dance, to team to private lessons. Kids who stay on become family. We are normal, hard working parents. Our kids LOVE IT HERE. They don't want to skip- ever :) The owners are awesome, the coaches as well. I won't take my kids anywhere else

We dropped our 8 year old son off there on a Saturday night Parents Night out.
The place has some really fun things for kids to do, and could be a great experience for a child. Unfortunately, our child had a terrible experience as the lead supervisor (Chris) brought him to tears. My son is a rule follower. By accident, he broke one of the rules (walked around a course the incorrect way), and the supervisor Chris got angry with him and yelled at him. My son did not react well--he became frightened. The supervisor than made it worse by telling him to stop crying and quit acting like a baby. In summary, my son felt he was being bullied.

I hope they invest in training their supervisors on how to better communicate and interact with children. If my son was 12, he probably would not have had such a bad reaction, but at 8, it was too much.
If you child is under 12, I do not recommend leaving them there with their current supervisors.

So we had our daughters birthday party there today and the kids had fun and thats what matters but the service was not good. We had two girls doing our party and the younger one I think her name is Summer she was GREAT!!! If we go back we will request her, but the other girl we had was HORRID!!! she complained about having to be there working on the weekend, she didnt do anything with the kids, we ended up buckling kids into things and pushing them on the swing. She cleaned up our party room and complained the whole time about it being nice and her being stuck doing birthday parties all day. She disappeared after initially meeting with us and I had to go downstairs and look for her to have her take the kids out to play and I couldnt even find her then! I found Summer who apologized and came right up! I had a parent ask the girl where her little one who just turned 2 could play safely and the girl said" its a gym she can play anywhere" then I had a child ask where she could get the swimsuit things that the girls in the class where wearing and the girl said" I have no clue what your talking about" and walked away!!! Then at pick up time we couldnt find a kid and I started to head back upstairs to look for him and the girl WOULDNT LET ME and said she had already started another party but I was welcome to walk around the gym and look for the child!!!! Luckily he was with his dad in the parking lot and hadnt left yet. I am very disappointed for the amount of money I paid for this party and how crappy the service was! Needless to say we wont be having another party here!

Disappoint in this gym and their team no consistent coaching only way to work with the good coaches when girls are in lower level on team is to pay for private lessons. They keep girls on teams saying they are bubble kids repeating same level as year before they don't move them up so gym keeps getting money but with no consistent lower level coaching of course the girls do not get the fair chance to learn and move up no matter how much they train. The owner Kevin doesn't listen to the parents about coaching issues or about coaches talking down to children he says team coaches are great he trust them. Leaving parents stuck once they commit to a year or you lose all money invested so if your child is looking to join a team go to Tiffany or find a different gym until your child becomes an optional so they have a fair chance at living their dream. Last year coach left this year coach left and last year this gym may of placed well but this year many of lower level team girls will struggle because the coaching needed is not in place so BEWARE and look around not place for good communication or equal opportunities for children.

A sure winner with all ages. These people take this sport seriously. They teach the kids skill, attitude, and a if you want it "Go For It" attitude! Although for what it cost, you would think they could intall a little better ventilation. LOL Kinda smells like dirty socks. Check out their play dates, Lots of fun!

This was definitely a place you should take kids with excess energy! Their teachers are skilled in the sport and do a great jod in motivating & teaching the kids proper form. Our son has a great time and quickly got over the stereotype that it's a girlie sport! This is a cool place to throw a unique birthday party too. They definitely take the stress out of party hosting a group of kids!
