NW Dance and Acro offers classes for casual and advanced dancers in acro, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, and tap, in a positive and nurturing atmosphere. Through our well-rounded and highly skilled instructors, our focus is on strong technique while promoting the love of dance in our students. Led by studio owner/director Ms. Augga Hawkins, our dancers have enjoyed opportunities to perform regionally, nationally, and internationally, on stage as well as on television.

Horrible experience. No communication . Teacher no-showed no call. No nothing. Twenty minutes into class time and a couple of young teens tried to sub the class but clearly had no idea what the class was, one of them even asking, "what class am I teaching?" There was not a single adult or staff member anywhere in the building. This class is supposed to be a fun intro to dance class for 3 year old kids to do obstacle courses and games while introducing very basic skills. The class today with teens filling in included no games, no fun activities. They ran through ballet positions and expected 3 year olds to listen and do exactly what they were told. I left early with a sobbing child because this class is what he looks forward to all week, talks about constantly, and was so frustrated and discouraged he completely fell apart He is currently sobbing in the car about his dance class and does not understand why today was the way it was. We will absolutely NOT be signing up for future classes.

I've attended Northwest Dance and Acro from 2007 - 2020 and this is a family owned business where every student becomes part of a family. Long lasting relationships are created and it was an amazing environment for me to learn and to grow as a person. This is a great confidence grower, and the teaching is one of the very best in the Northwest.

Our 3 girls have danced here for years. The skill, camaraderie and fun for them is worth all the time and effort we spend. Dance can be an introductory experience or a lifestyle. This studio allows you to experience any place on that spectrum. As a dance dad I love recitals and competitions. NWDA is a true regional and national competitor, and recruits, retains and produces real talent.
