Great gym with a great culture. Itβs a good fit for anyone to come and train whether youβve never boxed before and try to learn or youβre an experienced fighter. Quality coaches who really know what theyβre doing, and care about people who come in.

Artem and Ronald are very friendly and always eager to help. The gym is big, spacious, plenty of bags, a ring, speedbags, double end bag, reflex bag. At certain gyms I've been to in the past there's a hostile environment that is not conducive to learning or they only cater to fitness boxing, or disinterested trainers that don't care about the improvement of their students. At this gym they're friendly, easygoing, and offer sparring, and you can tell the quality of their teaching from simply watching the students. I'm very impressed watching the students, they're very good. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!

Great boxing gym with friendly people. One of the few boxing gyms in the area with a good ring and sparring. I learnt a lot just in my first week and improved substantially. Would recommend for any boxing enthusiasts.

My children started to take boxing classes at NFA back in 2016. It is a very complete boxing gym in every sense, not just the equipment, but also the experienced coaches are great. No matter your boxing level you as a PERSON (regardless of age, gender, nationality, etc.) will feel included and respected. My youngest has been always very energetic and this class helps him steam off that energy. We highly recommend this gym, it is worth the one hour drive to get there.

What about the use of the heavy bags when you just want to hit for a while? Or are these only for use during classes?

Awesome place and the coaches are excellent. This isn't a fitness gym. It is a legit boxing gym where you can get in shape and learn the sport of boxing.

The perfect balance of welcoming and intense. This is not a cardio boxing gym. The boxing classes focus on teaching the art of boxing. Light sparing is incorporated into classes and partners are always willing to help you learn rather than take advantage of your inexperience.

I've trained at various striking, grappling, and MMA gyms in the past and I can say with confidence that Northwest Fighting Academy stands out.
I have taken both Boxing and Muay Thai classes and the instruction at this gym is top notch, friendly, and focused. Often times it can be intimidating walking into a fight gym of any kind and the staff at NWFA work hard to make the environment friendly and welcoming for people of all ages and skill levels. They are very low pressure with their memberships, as well as flexible and fair in pricing. They also don't try to pressure you into buying things you simply don't need or won't use, NWFA is definitely not a "McDojo" which can be a problem at other gyms.
I currently train Muay Thai roughly 3-4 times a week under Kru Louie and am impressed and humbled whenever I step into the gym. Louie does a great job adjusting the technique for all skill levels and if you're struggling to get the technique right, Louie does a great job being attentive and working to your strengths, ensuring you're successful in this complex martial art. They work hard to create a team environment and ensure you feel like you're part of a community, not just a gym to sweat in. There is a lot of talent of all levels to spar with if that is an interest as well as a lot of bags if you simply just want to work on technique and get a good sweat in.
Overall, I highly recommend Northwest Fight Academy!

I love NWFA. I am 14 years old and have had no previous experience with martial arts, and in about two and a half months, I can officially say, "I know how to fight." Everyone here is very friendly and very welcoming to beginners. Anyone who wants to sign their teenagers up I would say to go for it. It's pretty lit (fireemoji)(fireemoji)

My kids love this place. My oldest has autism and takes part in the adult class. Everyone is super supportive. It is a fantastic workout. Lots of core work and cardio. You learn how to defend yourself and have fun at the same time. It's clean and spacious. It is also very affordable. They offer a free class to try it out and will absolutely not pressure you to join...but once you try it, you'll love this place.

I came into this place a little bit skeptical and not sure what to expect. I know nothing about boxing but was looking for a good work out and I really found it. The trainers really take your entire body into consideration with each class and I was sore all over the next day. But what I loved most is that the trainers take the time to get to know each student on a personal level and on a fitness level. They listen when you say you just want to work out and sparring isn't your thing. They're patient and supportive for students like me that are beginners. They have great relationships with every student & hang out after work outs and sparring just to chat. I love this place and will definitely add them to my regular workout schedule.

I've been searching for a boxing gym to call home in Washington state for quite a while now. Northwest Fighting Academy is now where I can gladly call my second home. The gym and coaches have programs for anyone and everyone, and they'll gladly cater the workouts to whatever your intentions may be; whether it's just to lose weight or if you're competition-minded. Come check the gym out, you definitely won't be disappointed!
