I was disappointed with my experience here. Pricing is unclear — staff give different answers — and the gym feels more focused on sales than on supporting members. I want to start off and say the personal trainers are good. The problem is the management team and the lack of communication.
My wife and I signed up for a 2 year contract, paid in full. Toward the end of the second year, we opted to go to a gym that has a pool as well as one more kid friendly environment.
We went to cancel the account but “Their” app was showing we did not have auto renewal. Next thing we know we are getting charged $200. We called and had to go in person to discuss cancelation and why we were auto renewed, when their app shows “non” auto renewal.
The answer was “well your contract was 2 years,1 year paid at “x” amount in full and second year would be free. So the auto renewal would only be for the 1 year free”. Very misleading in my opinion. After explaining it’s their app and should reflect what will actually happen, they pulled the contract out and it shows auto renewal as “yes”. I then asked, why would the app not reflect the information that you guys have? I then got an excuse that they are still working out the problems with the app. But still no refund.
I was hesitant on writing a review because the contract did say renewal. But I was inclined to, due to their app will not reflecting costumers contract properly.

This gym is alright. Has all the equipment you need. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Broken machines do take a long time to be fixed. They give you a little run around to cancel your membership, but it’s not as bad as some places. When I joined it was $20 a month, which was great but it’s gone up. Their signs and billboards that say “$20 per month, and no sign on fee” are not accurate anymore, but they’ve left them up anyways. The weight plates are always very disorganized, and scattered. Overall, decent gym, but nothing too special. 3/5

I'm from Washington! I currently live in Utah and like to keep an active lifestyle. I went back home to spend time with family, dreading the thought of losing my gains. NWfitco was super accommodating of my week's stay and their facility/amenities are top-notch. Parker helped me set up a quick account and we were good to go! This place has everything! Classes, tanning, massage and very new equipment plus in a wide open space. I was especially impressed with the professionalism and knowledgeable staff at the front desk. Myself and my husband even got a body scan which really helped us better understand our current fitness level. I highly recommend this place for your workout needs.

You do get two stars though because you refuse to do anything about the guy who hot boxes his car right outside of the main entrance and then comes in reeking of weed for about 30 ft around him which makes me extremely sick due to being allergic to it. Nothing in my gym membership states that I need to endure another member making me sick because you as a business want to claim that someone doing drugs outside of your facility and coming in reeking of them is a hygiene issue. Hygiene is taking care of your body, not coming in in a wafting cloud of pot smoke.

I really like going to Northwest Fitness Company. They’ve got plenty of cable and free-motion machines, a great selection of free weights, and lots of cardio equipment, so I never have to wait around to get a good workout in. The people here are friendly, and the employees are super helpful and welcoming, which makes for a great atmosphere.

One thing that sets this gym apart is the variety of programs they offer, including a karate program that runs inside the gym. There are also plenty of other programs to join, and personal trainers are available if you’re looking for some extra guidance.

Overall, it’s a great place to work out with a solid community feel. If you’re looking for a well-equipped gym in Puyallup, I’d definitely recommend checking it out!

I love this gym! Everyone is so friendly and I do not feel uncomfortable at all even for a beginner. I had gotten a membership at this gym about 1.5 years ago but decided to cancel due to finances and other personal reasons, and it was super easy, I just went in there and told them I needed to cancel and they said they were sorry to see me go! And to come back anytime. Which of course, I did! And have been going here for 4 months now. I really like the variety of different people who go here. From heavy lifters to beginners like me and everyone in between! It’s never too crowded and the variety of equipment is nice. Definitely recommend this gym!

What a great place to workout. Everyone is so friendly. Childcare employees are gentle. The staff remembers me by name and all my interactions with the regulars I see every day are always kind. My only complaint is that it seems equipment is often broken, but I know there are a lot of factors that go into it. It's never too crowded, and so nice that I can go 24/7. Signed up for a membership for myself and my daughter and also a summer program for my homeschooled son. They are predatory in their sales and wanted us to come in multiple times to buy shakes. They never told me that it had to be canceled in person until I decided I hadn’t used it in 4 months and they were still charging for my son’s summer program when it wasn’t summer. I was paying around $120 a month. I called to cancel and was told i had to come in when Parker was there between 8-6 or something. I worked in Seattle from 8-5 and had a 3 hour commute so none of that would work. They said I could do a certified letter but that would also mean taking time off of work to go to a post office. I ended up taking a day off this last June to cancel it as I was getting ready to move to Texas and definitely wouldn’t be using it. This would be during the times Parker should have been there but wasn’t. They told me I needed to come back another day. I informed them of the situation and they found some musclehead in the back to “help” me. I told them I wanted all accounts cancelled and that there were 3 accounts. I started receiving calls from an ABC fitness company that I owed them money. Just found out that they didn’t cancel all of them and they have been racking up charges against me. I am furious that I paid that amount of money all that time but I am more furious that I’m being harassed for accounts that I supposedly canceled. I have contacted ABC fitness company but have not heard back. Their predatory tactics are what kept me from going back to them and I definitely didn’t want to talk to anyone there so they could try to sell me something else.

I love this gym and everyone that works here. They make everyone feel comfortable and have a huge range of equipment. They have great classes and an amazing training team. Taylor is the absolute best. She has taught me so much since I started 6 months ago. I have lost around 30 lbs of fat and maintained my lean muscle with the help of Taylor. 11 inches off my waist!! She holds me accountable but is also knowledgeable about my past injuries and what works for my body. I highly recommend Taylor and Northwest Fitco.

I attended this gym from January of 2024 to August of 2024 when I moved out of the area.
Enrollment was really easy, my boyfriend and I walked in on a random day and after trying out the gym for the first few days, we decided to enroll. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and everybody in the gym from staff to other gym-goers were super helpful and kind.
I trained with Steve while I was there and our sessions were full of knowledge, laughter, and I always felt like he helped me stay focused on my goals while on my weight loss journey.
When I needed to cancel my membership and personal training sessions, I called and spoke with Parker who walked me through the entire process. For cancelling my membership, I explained that I would not be able to make it in person at the times they had listed available on the website and asked if there was anything else I could do. Parker explained that I could write a letter requesting cancellation and mail it to Northwest Fit Co because they needed something in writing stating I wanted to cancel my membership. Cancelling my personal training was easy as well, I just needed to send an email to the email address that Parker provided.
Parker did an amazing job walking me through the process and made sure he followed up with me to let me know that my personal training sessions were cancelled shortly after I sent the email. Alex also provided a follow up email to let me know things were taken care of on their side.

Overall an amazing community and I was very sad to move away from such great people!

Anyway, I went in with a friend because when he got his membership, they told him he should refer friends and family; so, he brought me for a "30-day free trial." The front desk girl quickly looked us over and told us to sit down. A big woman with curly hair named Natalia came and brought out forms. I assumed it was general safety waivers, and we could start working out soon.
But she talked on and on.

Even my friend looked 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥. She gave us the runaround and finally placed two options in front of me. Either $299 or $20/month. After that was done, she finally stopped talking with us. My friend and I lost our motivation to work out, and I left with a bitter taste in my mouth. We went to our boxing gym instead. When I went to cancel after waiting the 1-month mandatory period (another payment in their pocket). The guy who "helped" me asked 𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦 times for my genuine feelings and feedback; I think his name is Parker, but his handwriting was hard to understand. I felt he was going to listen to my concerns. I tried to explain to him how I only came in for a 30-day free trial and felt that I got 𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥 into joining their gym.

All he did was laugh at me and said, "𝙉𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙙𝙮 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙖 𝙜𝙪𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙."

Never go here.
They say they want to help with your fitness goals, but their main goal is to 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺.

Sign said no enrollment fee so I signed up. They then charged me an enrollment fee. I was emailing with the company to cancel right away. It took them a while to get back to me. They said "your membership has been cancled, no further action is needed". The next month they still billed me. I went into the gym twice to cancel but "no manager was on duty". They assured me that the manager would call me. They never did. Finally went in for a 3rd time and was able to cancel. I asked when I should expect my refund from the improper billing. The manager said "they were not going to refund me". I showed the manager the email for proof yet they are going to not return my money. I would not recomend this place to anyone. Whatever you do, don't give them any back or credit card information. I just checked my bank statement and they are continuing to bill me after I canceled. I am going to now get representation to make things right.

Horrible cancellation policy. I moved out of state and called to cancel. They told me I had to appear in person at verly limited specific days/times. I repeated I had moved out of state and they said I could write a letter. So I did. 3 weeks go by, no response or acknowledgement and they charge me again. I had to take the matter up with my credit card company to get the charges to stop. When I was in town equipment was frequently out of service and in poor condition. Over the years I went here the sales for over priced dotfit supplements got more and more pushy. The pressure to get a trainer and pay join their Get Your Fit Together competition got way out of hand. I had a friend come get a 7 day trial and was mortified at how pushy they had become. Needless to say she wisely didn't join. This place is going into the ground. They can't keep consistent staff and there are numerous rumors about terrible staff treatment.

Our family joined this gym during our 3 month travel nurse contract in the area. We chose this gym because of the kid activities and the hours (24 hours). Our 8 year old really enjoyed the kids fit class with Cody & Vanessa— they do an excellent job with their kiddos! And our 4 year old never wanted to miss a day at the gym 😆 she loved the staff in the child watch program! They are wonderful with the littles. The only class I participated in a few times was Werk Hiit and it was an absolute blast. The entire gym has a friendly vibe. The front staff is always warm and welcoming and come to know you by name as you walk in. The locker rooms are large and have plenty of showers. Always clean! The gym equipment is fairly decent, it gets the job done 💪🏻 plenty of bumper plates and dumbbells. We will miss this place!

I trained here for I think about 6 years and even worked here. The environment is great. There is a good amount of equipment. Staff is friendly. The owners do a great job of continuing to build the gym more and more to ensure there is enough equipment and plates for everyone.

My only gripe is the paint job. It's too bright and makes locking in a bit harder.

I highly recommend this gym. It was my second home for a long time and I wish I could've taken it with me across the country.

Way to much sells pressure. Enjoyed going the first few times untill the included training session came up and then it was just sell pitch after sells pitch. I don't little to think about my budget when i want loose some weight and workout. Even when i went in to close my account they still try to get you in to some more training sessions like that's the answer.

They might not have the newest equipment, but the space is functional and allows for a diverse range of workouts.

I really like that it’s open 24/7 that way I can always find time to get a good workout in regardless of the time I finish whatever I have going on, the access to machines there is very nice, and the staff is very friendly and helped me get started very quickly! Overall would go again.

The facility itself is amazing. The staff is amazing as well. The reason I give this 2 stars is their cancellation process. They do the classic greedy business man method of making canceling as hard as they possibly can to get as much revenue as they can. You have to either come into the branch to cancel or send a physical letter to cancel. There is no online process or phone call method. Also when you cancel they will charge you one more time due to a “30 day notice” clause in their contract. As nice as the place and the people that work there are it isn’t worth the headache when you decide to move on to another gym.

Trying to find a 24hr gym close to our house. I came here after work @ 9:30p for a tour. But no one is available. "24hr gym" to show me around. But this is perfectly fine. I can look by myself seriously no problem at all. But they wanted to charge me a day fee just to step on the floor. I'm not using any weights, I just want to look and see if this is a fit for me and my wife. Obviously not,

This gym has definitely become my family and it saved my life!!! I cannot say enough about how Amazingly Awesome this place is. The Trainers are incredible and the Staff go above and beyond to make sure you are getting what you need!!! Chris Haddock is my trainer and I could not have asked for better!! NFC did not cancel my membership upon multiple requests that they do. My account was charged multiple times prior to me calling and sending letters to request my membership is ended and account closed. After sending a final notice for payment I responded to take legal action and NFC finally ended my membership and stopped charging me. Resolve this matter.

Came in on a visit from otta state. My Brother in-law n sister are members. I'm here for only a week so I was able to come in on a visitor pass . Staff is topnotch n there service and not just a figure of speech!! Excellent equipment for every need.. Truly wish they had one in my area! No brainier! Lord continue to bless this company and there staff!

Tons of pressure from the sales people if you go in for a tour, and their sales pitch is all about not liking your body and trying to change it as fast as possible. That attitude can be a good thing for some people, but if you’re looking for a place to work out without hating your body, or you have a history of eating disorders, look elsewhere. It’s also crowded and loud inside.

I have never loved a gym more. I usually get a membership and then only go for 2 weeks before I just give up. Everyone here knows my name. I joined the gyft challenge and I didn't have a trainer, so I just went with Paul because my son was already on his team. I'm so glad I did, I love working out with Paul. He seems to genuinely care about my well being and checked in with me when I got hurt at the team night. I love his bootcamps during the challenge because he's the only trainer that always incorporates stretching into our routine.

The worst cancellation policy. You have to enter the club just to verbally tell them you no longer wish to be a member or you need to pay for a certified letter. No email or phone calls even when they tell you on the phone they will get it taken care of. My best friend was able to cancel through her email/text and they honored it but apparently they don’t treat everyone the same. The gym itself is great and honestly would recommend if they didn’t have such an inconvenient cancellation process. I had cancelled in the past and rejoined and previously it was much simpler.

Tried to cancel my membership after moving. They said I had to come in person to cancel. This is not the standard at any other fitness facility I have been apart of. When I explained that I have moved I was told I have to "send a certified letter through the mail." SHADY! Sounds like your hoping people won't be able to come on to cancel so yall can stack the money. I liked the gym when I did work out there. But apparently they will do all to milk every little cent from you.

Bizarre that I need to send a "certified" (a.k.a. more expensive) envelope and letter to cancel my account.

This place has tons of used beat up equipment from the time I started. Went for a short time and just didn’t like the vibe the place put off. I later found out when I happened to go in and use the restroom that I had a late fee of some sort, I asked how could I have a late fee when I prepaid for 2 years. The kid working the counter explained it was for maintenance fees. I don’t recall anything about a 31 dollar yearly maintenance fee ( which totals about 6months of membership). I called in to just cancel my membership and that was difficult in it’s self because the manager Parker doesn’t like to have to talk to customers about something that is in the contract! The girl (Anne) who answered the phone when I called was rude and very unprofessional. Steer clear of this value village of a gym! Just flat out rude and condescending people work there. And I can tell you I’m pretty positive nothing was said about these hidden fee’s!

Good vibes and great community of members and staff! The crew and atmosphere are superior to any commercial gym. Has everything you need and more to get a solid work out in. Organized and spacious weight floor with no shortage of benches, free weights, squat racks and machines. Been a member just long enough to see these guys tackle the remodel and still keeping everything running seamlessly. Gym is looking A1.

I love this gym! Everyone who works there is so friendly, they have an amazing selection of fitness classes with great instructors, and super sweet staff in the childcare area as well! It is also super affordable. I really appreciated that when my mom was in town for a week they gave her get a free pass to come in too. I also like how there are people of all different fitness levels at this gym, so it’s not as intimidating as some other gyms. Definitely recommend!! :)

Question: when I joined up at this gym I saw on the rules that we aren't supposed to drop weights. However whenever I come here at late night there's guys literally slamming their weights on the ground repeatedly disturbing everyone's workouts. Is the rules list merely a suggestion or do you actually enforce it. Been here for an hour and this oaf is still chucking his bars and weights on the ground. Please resolve
