I’ve inquired multiple times regarding your membership and fee structure, and each time I received inconsistent and misleading information. Initially, I was told I could try the service for a month by paying a one-month fee, but later I was informed that a second month’s payment was also required β€” completely contradicting the original explanation.

This is extremely frustrating, especially given your advertised β€œno contract” policy. Your payment guidelines lack clarity, and there is no proper documentation or transparency provided to customers. I’ve never received a consistent or straightforward answer from your team.

What made this experience even worse is that when I raised these concerns with the manager, I was told she β€œdoesn’t care about yesterday’s conversation”. That level of dismissiveness is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. It reflects a total lack of accountability and respect for customer concerns.

Additionally, the front desk staff I interacted with were not properly trained or informed, making communication exhausting and unproductive. Overall, this experience has left me feeling misled and extremely dissatisfied.

I strongly urge your management to review your communication practices and staff training, and to take customer feedback seriously moving forward.

I had a disappointing experience with the body scan at your OT location.
The manager advised me to arrive 30 minutes early before my class for the scan. However, when I arrived, there was no staff available (Friday April 5th, 2025 at 8am). A person at the front desk performed the scan in just 30 seconds and told me it was done. I didn’t receive any consultation, and when I asked him questions, he simply responded, "I don’t know, I don’t work here."

This was frustrating because I set aside extra time based on incorrect information from the manager, only to receive a rushed experience with no guidance. I would appreciate clarification on what the body scan process should include and how this can be improved for future visits.

I have been a member for 6+ years and through out those years I had such a great experience at this location up until they hired a manager named George. The last time I attended this studio he was very disrespectful, and showed zero customer service and empathy. I arrived to the class about 5 minutes before my class started I received an emergency call from my family that my elderly mother had just been admitted in the ER. George noticed I was on the phone clearly on a sensitive call. He kept telling me and interrupting that I had to go in the class β€œnow.” Finally when I hung up the call I broke down went inside the class and saw the coach and I could not even pull myself together to do the class. I left the class and went to the front desk where I George and another employee were and I said while crying, as I had terrible news from my mom. You know what George, you are unbelievable and disrespectful to your customers, have some empathy, I was on the phone with my mom being admitted to the ER. He said, β€œso what, my mom went to the hospital too!” What? Orangetheory do better, train your employees hire quality people. We the customers pay a lot of money to be members at this gym and this is who you hire? I said to this man, β€œDo not raise your voice at me.” I felt personally attacked by this man. Since then I have never been back to this studio. I have tried multiple outlets to report this man though LinkedIn, Facebook, and Orangetheory app and everywhere I hit a roadblock. As loyal customer of OTF for many years, I am beyond disappointed and let down that you do not prioritize your customers. I am currently shopping around for other fitness studios. In the meantime, I have been attending the Bothell location. They have been very accommodating and welcoming. The coaches and 10/10 and the receptionist and manager there are amazing! Their classes are always fun and even their treadmills are much newer than Mill Creek. If I have one advice, stay away from the MC location especially if you’re a mom, with family and kids, who may have last minute emergencies, who knows if George will be around and yell at you and make you feel bad.

Relocated from OTF foothills to OTF Millcreek and I have attended majority of my workout classes with Coach Jonathan, hands down one of the best coaches. I love his energy, charisma, motivation, and dance skills! He’s an excellent fitness instructor on showing you the correct form to work the targeted muscle groups but lost importantly to avoid injuries. I 100% recommend coming in and taking a class with him. You will get hooked on coming to OTF Millcreek, Wa!

If you have never taken an Orangetheory class, this is your sign. This location specifically has the best coaches, the best front desk, staff, and a spacious floor plan. It is one of the most fun and engaging workouts. I think what I love most about it is the energy in the room the inspiration from the other members and the genuine encouragement and motivation energy from the coach. All of the coaches you can tell really loved their job and care about your work out. It’s great music, the hour goes by fast and every single day is varied and every single day is challenging. Also, they recently added strength only classes, which means no treadmill, no rowing, strictly 50 minutes of pure weightlifting, and they’re so great. The first class is free and you will be doing yourself such a disservice if you don’t at least try it. I was originally a member for four years took a break during Covid and then just joined again and I have tried everything in between so I can confirm it is the best workout and nothing compares to it. Call and ask for George and he will set you up with your first class!

I was not treated right at Orangetheory in Mill Creek. I went there for the first time to try it out. Before I even had my first workout, staff pushed to sign me up for the "Elite" package contract, which I did. At the beginning of the second workout I injured my back. No fault of Orangetheory. My doctor asked a total rest for my back for the foreseeable future. I called Orangetheory to cancel my membership, only to find out that cancelation is a cumbersome process, and I am on the hook for two months worth of membership, which is more than $200. Imagine $200+ for one 60 minute workout! Staff was adamant about me paying this much for one workout. They seemed more concerned about making money, in signing me up and cancelling, rather than trying to work with me and provide good customer service, in case I come back after my back heels. Orangetheory made that decision for me!.

Great place for cardio. They have new offerings for strength training focused classes- however only at limited times. They also offer body composition equipment for those who are interested in tracking progress. Beware of the class cancellation policy that is not considerate of unexpected illness in children especially during cold and flu season. As a busy military wife with 3 small children and limited support, I am disappointed to say that this higher price tag investment and conducting of business will not work for my lifestyle. My advice for busy parents is to consider this when choosing Orangetheory as your primary investment.

I was skeptical about trying out OTF. I inquired about it and kept receiving calls from them to set up a free class. While their marketing strategy is a little bit too pushy for my own taste, my friend and my sister both do Orange Theory and had nothing but good things to say about it, so I decided to try it out anyways.

I love it. The heart rate monitor thing is perfect for someone like me. I have a very clear and precise way to track my workout, and I can secretly compete with everyone else at the same time.

My trainer Cat also has such amazing energy. It was 4:30 am when I got there to fill out my paperwork, and she was just bubbly and energetic and ready to go. Makes a workout extra enjoyable especially that early in the morning.

Anyways, third day in a row working out and I really feel like this is a great addition to my routine and will help me reach/ maintain my fitness goals. Thanks guys!

I joined this Orange Theory about 3-4 months ago and holy cow I am SO GLAD I DID! This place checks all the boxes that were missing for me with a traditional gym or home workout πŸ™ŒπŸ½
Over the years I’ve had great personal trainers and in general got really into working out/lifting weights, but then life got busy + the pandemic hit and my fitness went out the door the last few years. I tried going back to the traditional gym and just doing circuits and things that I knew, but I was finding I was not motivated or pushing myself enough. A neighbor mentioned she had been doing OT and recommended I try it out.

From day one I’ve had a fantastic experience hereβ€” the staff is super friendly and I love that they all greet us by our names! The facility is clean and organized and parking is always abundant, even when I pull up a minute before class starts. The trainers are wonderful with great energy and fun playlists. The HIIT workouts always have me dripping in sweat and decently sore the next day. I enjoy going into my scheduled workouts, not having to think and just DO what the trainers tell us to… makes it almost a no brainer workout. The trainers are watching over everyone to make sure our form is properly and safe, but don’t make it weird or hover which is great. The heart rate monitor stats are important to me and powerful tool I use to make sure I’m pushing myself enough, and I love being able to review my stats and progress. I currently workout 2x a week but will be upgrading to the unlimited plan to jump up to 3x a week soon.

If you’re on the fence about checking orange theory out, this is your sign to just do it… you won’t regret a great workout and it’s always a good idea to invest in your health & wellness!! And I no don’t work at OT lol

I’ve been doing OTF for almost two years and Milly is one of my favorite studios to take classes at.
The front desk is always great at greeting everyone and remembering names. That goes a long way. They even know what station I like starting with, which makes me commend their great memory.
Cat, Cam, and Jon are great coaches. Every coach makes sure you’re doing the exercises correctly, making it seem like you have a personal trainer in a group class setting. With my schedule, I mostly attend Jon’s classes and he definitely makes the class fun and the 60 minutes fly by so fast (he also plays good music so you can feel like you’re at an EDM rave or your high school dance with the throwbacks but instead you’re at the gym working out). Jon and the other coaches love helping everyone succeed and push themselves to become stronger and reach their fitness goals. They are really good at remembering names and being your personal cheerleaders/coaches throughout the class.
I would definitely recommend OTF or giving it a try. I hated my first class (since I joined during Hell week) and I hated working out but I am going almost two years strong into doing OTF and it has become a highlight to my day after leaving work since I know I’ll (ironically) have fun working out.

06/20/21- I like that every work out is different. I like my coach, Cat, because she's fun, personable and motivating. Cat also helps me and the other participants with our form so we get the most out of each workout. I like how my body feels afterwards.

I like Coach Cat! She's engaging, motivating and supportive. When I had an injury she regularly checked on me. When I has out sick for several weeks she noticed and welcomed me back joyously. In class her play lists are fun and she explains exercises thoroughly. I cant say the same for Jonathan (he talks too fast and mumbles) or Cam (says he has been a coach for 10+yrs but doesn't seem to know the routine, ie regularly apologizes for not being organized. Also his playlists are full of rap and hiphop but not the good kind).
I work out with Cat in The 5am class and all the peeps in there are fun, we know each other which is nice. I also take Christine's Sat Lift45 class in Bothell. She's a positively motivating coach too with good playlists.

I love that I don't have to put the effort into designing a full body workout, and I don't worry about if I'm going to get a good workout or not. I always do, and if there is anything about the recommended workout that I can't do or want to modify, coaches are always welcoming and happy to work with me to find something that works for my body! Besides the workout itself, I love the community. OTF Milly is known for it's inviting atmosphere and encouraging coaches AND members. This place is addicting in the best way.

This review is specific to the Mill Creek, WA orange theory - Tons of energy and great motivation! I love the variety of exercises. The coaches are beyond excellent. I have developed a lot of strength esp. in my core after consistently attending 2 months of Orange Theory workouts. One of the best places to work out for sure!

I love this studio. It has a good amount of space and it is easy to transition and have attaching space at the end of class. The workouts are National but the coaches I have had so far have great attitudes and are very motivating paying attention to the whole room.

The coaches are attentive, and always check on everyone. I’m currently getting back from a bad back injury and the floor exercise modifications are very helpful. I never feel rushed and love that everyone is just there to sweat while going at their own pace.

The front desk staff is always courteous and very accommodating. I’ve had to freeze and/or change my plan multiple times and the process has been effortless and smooth each time.

The motivating attitude of the OTF Mill Creek branch overall makes me want to keep going back and I’ve recommended it to multiple people since I joined last year! Thank you for being so great - all of you!

Orange theory is killer fitness. I seemed to be confused when staff or receptionist told me nobody knows what they teach next day, everyday it is new. I was was extremely confused and gave up for a while. After a month of review research and videos, I signed up for unlimited classes for $169 with $10 discount with no expectation because I’m still confused on how’s it going to work out for me.
For the new signups, fitness here is more to build your body with good stamina and stability on over all body. If you’re looking for building muscle, I don’t think this is the place. You can burn more calories than expect and be stronger. People who wants to reduce weight, this is the good place too, you burn calories in 60mins everyday.
Most of the classes last for 60 mins. Earlier, I haven’t ran on treadmill for more than 15 mins anytime. I’m now running 30 mins easily. They have set of exercises, 30 mins treadmill, 15 mins rower, 15 mins of weights. It seems to be really balanced exercise.
I burnt 900 calories in 1 hour which is really shocking for my stamina. I joined on August 13 and finished my 8 classes. I never felt strong and motivated going to gym anytime in my life.

Fitness is really clean and staff is really cool, music will pump your heart to do more. I think the reason for being motivated is trainers and trackers. 2 Ts are the only reason am going to gym. My favorite trainer Allie and Jen. I just love going to their classes, they have lot of energy. Trackers keep you running and achieve targets and goals. Everyday, I go to OT to Beat my previous day.
