This Orangetheory, is located in shady side of the Capitol Hill and I donβt want to work out with them and I feel I must review for others safety (I usually wonβt write a review even in a bad experience). I was late for a minute and was denied access to the class as I take a bus to ride to the class, I tried explaining my situation but no support. The 4 admin folks working were insensitive.So I plan to cancel membership as no basic human support for customer who is paying good money for membership. Moreover, now they are charging me another month for cancellation . They even wanted to charge a fee to pause the membership.Would not recommend anyone to join.

Loved this locationβ¦. Higher tier than both of my home base OTs. Basically had a personal trainer for 5 days straight as very few frequented the early classes. Finished Mayhem challenge and accidentally signed up for 90 mins class following. Whoops. Had Coach Dashiel everyday. He was awesome as was the welcoming staff (the know and greet me daily and Iβm traveling! )

I used to love working out at Orangetheory, but when I signed up again the business side has been so shady at the Capitol Hill location that I donβt want to work out with them and I feel I must review (I usually wonβt write a review even in a bad experience). The online promotion I signed up for didnβt have some stipulations the studio had but I only found this out once I tried to book a class. They kept sending me a different agreement for their studio to the online one I bought and then calling me and emailing me until I signed it. Now to cancel they are charging another month. They even wanted to charge a fee to pause the membership.

The workout wasnβt bad! If youβre in it for the cardio and not worried about form when it comes to weight lifting, this is your place. Community is not a priority (even though theyβll tell you it is). And if youβre unsure after your trial, theyβll relentlessly call you every weekday. Iβm rating it low because itβs not worth the price tag, in my opinion. Youβre not developing skills other than learning to stick to the treadmill for 20 minutes if you canβt on your own. If theyβd stop spamming my voicemail, Iβd give them a 3 out of 5.

One word - Cosmo!! His classes are great & he is the type of person who will hype you up and lift your spirits.
The location is good, the rowing machines could use an upgrade to the electric screens like in other orange theories. If you also end up on the tread as your last workout, you donβt get a lot of space to stretch :( the lounge & locker area is also pretty cramped. no towels here (at least Iβm aware of) so bring your own!

I've been coming here for around a year and I have absolutely loved coming to OTF!! I'm a really awkward gym goer and was nervous about the group fitness setting, but it really is *so* much fun. It's a game-ified approach to working out with clear instruction and motivation from coaches who really make the experience phenomenal. I also really appreciate the energy from the front desk and management -- everyone is super accommodating and flexible with billing or accounts freezes. While all of the coaches are great, if it's your first time I'd recommend Tiffany or Ida (they're both very friendly/motivating!).

They charged my card without my permission. When I asked for a refund since I was not using their studio, they blamed me for not reading their social media posts or seeing their signage. It is really disappointing that this company chooses to treat their customers this way. I have always enjoyed the instructors and the classes, however, the management is poor and needs customer service training.

I really enjoy the structure of the OT workouts β breaking up an hour-long workout into three distinct parts makes it much more enjoyable and the time flies by. I like the fact that the regimens for rowing/tread/floor are variable and change each time I go, it keeps me engaged. The group class aspect (and moving through the three parts of the workout in smaller groups), along with the visible HR zones on the screens, maintain my motivation but also allow me to ease back if I need to. Iβve only had class with one coach thus far, who Iβve really enjoyed, but Iβm sure the other coaches are just as welcoming and Iβm looking forward to working out with them. All the staff at the Capitol Hill location have been really friendly and helpful, and everyone there seems very nonjudgmental, which I massively appreciate as a beginner.

I enjoy having the metrics of splat points and my heart rate up to guide my own workout as well. I always feel challenged and so accomplished after a workout! I still love this place! The workouts are 1 hour, full body plus cardio. I reserve my space and show up. I love the ease and effectiveness. The heart rate monitor provides an excellent way to track your progress all the way thought the workout. The coaches are there to guide but you can choose to go at your own pace if you want to. The coaches and front desk staff are always on point and friendly. I am not self motivated to work out on my own. I need to be held accountable and thrive on class and coach energy. This is one of the only fitness routines I have stuck to. I really canβt say enough great things about Orangetheory.

Iβve been to 8 different OTF studios in the past 5 months (3 out of state). The Capitol Hill studio in Seattle is by far the best. Their communication is excellent and they respond to mails and mails quickly. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and rarely have to seek answers from someone else which cuts down on the churn for the customer. Other studios range from poor to great in the PNW but CH takes gold IMO. Thank you Jenny, Sara, Jacob and the rest of the crew - yβall are terrific!

The team at Orange Theory - Capitol Hill is the best! When I first joined OTF, my only goal was to workout every day. I wasn't motivated by weight loss, or training for a fitness event. I wanted a supportive studio environment where I could break a sweat and get a little exercise. Since starting, I have achieved this goal and accomplished so much more. These days, I consider working out part of my daily routine. It's a powerful habit I have built over time with support and encouragement from the OTF - Capitol Hill team and members. I find myself setting personal goals each week (run, don't walk on the tread; accomplish personal bests, complete Hell Week etc.) and the coaches always seem to know when I am in need of a little added "push." I loved this class - it combines the three things that I love doing: rowing, running, and weight exercises. The pace is unbeatable. You are going, going, going from the minute you step in to the studio to the minute you step out.
The coaching is great, the music is amazing, and for someone like me (who has a bit of a competitive streak) it's great to be around other people, but still competing just with myself.

I have never witnessed this level of poor customer service to process a cancellation by the orange theory employee
Due to the matter going up and down within different employees ,without any intimation to me, please be advised that all this has caused exceptional level of discomfort.
Orangetheory has shown no compassion and just throwing legal terms to justify why the amount charged. Airlines and other companies reverse their fees given the medical emergency in the family. Please use a different fitness studio they are just a money making corporation.
The studio manager and all the employees of Orangetheory showed indifference and extreme level of coldness towards my situation.

have tried to cancel my membership since moved. faxed form in. call everyday with ZERO response from a "manager", who seems to be the only person to be able to cancel policies. When I call always told that "manager" will call me back and never does. Ridiculous you have to go in person to cancel a membership. Let me count the ways I love Orangetheory:
1. I love the cardio and strength combination. These HIIT workouts are so effective, and I always feel like I've worked my ass off each and every class.
2. There's always a killer soundtrack to keep you pumped during class.
3. I also love the mix of workouts/number of sets/repetitions/etc. Sometimes when you go to a regular gym, you don't even think to mix up your routine (or for that matter how many variations of a workout you can do to target specific muscle ares).
4. The ability to monitor my heart rate and keep track of my progress through class. If I happen to look up and see I'm a few percentage points away from entering another zone...it motivates me to work harder!
5. Pleasant staff and knowledgeable/dedicated trainers.
6. Corporate discounts on memberships.

I just moved to the area and have been trying the many OTF studios in Seattle. So far the coaches at this location are my favorite. Also, pro is they have two bikes, as opposed to most studios that have only one. Con is they are never in great working order--last time I went one had a missing pedal strap and the other had a loose pedal. I'm not picky, but you have to be able to secure your feet in properly to go hard on the bike.

1. It changes every day (never gets boring!) and is the first workout I've ever been excited about2. It gets you results if you put the effort in. I'm in the best shape of my life after coming to the Cap Hill studio for the last 6 months.3. The coaches who's classes I regularly attend know me, know my abilities, my goals, and are always helping to support me and encourage me to reach them. 4. Everyone, from the front desk staff to the coaches, are super high energy, caring, and helpful!

I have only taken a few classes so far, but I love the energy and attitude of the trainers as well as the other people taking the classes. It is unlike any other group fitness class I have taken. I love that the workouts are always different and challenging. Would definitely recommend trying a class!

Classes are fun but somewhat repetitive. Biggest problem is the gym is way over subscribed. Their online system allows you to book weeks and weeks in advance so classes at peak times are always full with huge wait lists.

The workouts change constantly. Most staff is friendly and personable. Coaches sometimes don't engage members enough. In a group setting, self motivation is necessary. Exercise form should be more of a priority. I've seen excellent results. Have been a member for nearly two years.

Orange Theory Fitness is an excellent gym for those who want a new and different gym experience. The one-hour classes are challenging and make the most of your time in the gym. The trainers are very attentive and encouraging. I joined in May 2015 and it's really helped me move toward my long term fitness goals. Orange Theory hosts special events, participates in community events, and makes each member feel valued. It's the best gym I've ever been to.
