I was a little intimidated about joining Orangetheory before I took the plunge...the orange lighting in online images looked intense and I imagined the environment to be unnecessarily loud and in-your-face. Well, after deciding my home workouts weren't cutting it and it was worth investing in my health and fitness as I neared a milestone birthday, I decided to take a free trial class and I'm so glad I did. Coach Laura gave me extra attention my initial class and made sure I knew what to do, and she and all of the other coaches I've taken classes from (Anna, Keaton, Mitchell) are great at explaining each exercise beforehand, offering modifications if needed, and gently correcting your form to make sure you're engaging the correct muscles. The music keeps you motivated in the best way and being in a group setting--the part I thought I would hate-- gives you that extra push as well. There are people of all ages, sizes, and abilities there and the vibe is very supportive. Also, the format is great in that you are changing stations and intensities frequently enough that it keeps things interesting and before you know it the hour is over. Sam, Halley, and other front desk staff are so friendly and I leave class so pumped up and feeling like I can conquer the world. I never expected to love working out so much, wish I'd signed up sooner!

Friends and family are likely tired of me talking about Orange Theory, yet if something works you want to share it. I went to my free trial class 4 months ago, telling myself I would give it a solid 2 months to evaluate. (I received a promo that was essentially BOGO.)
Having not gone to my home gym in nearly two years after an emergency surgery, I was only able to do about two of their 2G classes a week. Everything felt sore. I asked a member when it stopped hurting all the time, and she replied that it doesnβt, you just get used to it.
Two months in I was doing 3-5 classes a week, and overhead my daughter tell my son βyeah she goes like everyday.β I even went this week to an OT out of state while on vacation. (You can join classes at any location on the all-you-can-take-class plan.)
All the coaches (Anna, Keaton, Laura, and Mitchell) are patient and encouraging without being patronizing. They give modifications and help with adjustments, weight suggestions, pacing, etc. They figure out what motivates you as an individual.
The studio staff (Julie, Lauren, Olivia, and Sam) greet you by name every class and remember your preferences. Both the staff and coaches let you know about upcoming OT signature challenges and themed weeks and months. You can be entered for prizes and earn OT merch for completing competitions.
Since joining Iβve participated in nearly every challenge and benchmark, including a rowing one today. Coach Laura gave extra attention on my second attempt, and was genuinely impressed (and maybe even a little amazed!) that I took a full second off my previous time.
Yesterday I completed my 50th class in exactly 4 months, and was greeted by a brag board with my name on it. The other participants stayed briefly after class to take a photo with me to celebrate my milestone. I hope the coaches and studio attendants realize how much this means to me, and how I have improved my wellness in this short time.

I have been an OTF Shoreline member for about a month and a half and I am loving it! The coaches and staff and welcoming and helpful, the workouts are challenging but fun, and most of all I actually go! I tried a (cheaper) traditional gym membership but I would have one or two good weeks and then skip it for months at a time. Since joining, I have been going consistently every week and am seeing progress for the first time. I have really appreciated for flexible the heart rate zone model makes the class. I was never the most athletic kid and gym class in high school destroyed my relationship with exercise because I was expected to perform at the same level everyone else. This meant I was pushing my heart rate to be dangerously high for long stretches of time, resulting in throwing up, my vision blacking out, and overall misery. I thought that was just how exercise was for everyone, all the time. I couldn't have been more wrong! At OTF, I am able to challenge myself at just the right level, and the coaches encourage me to stay safe. The coaches have also been really helping in working on my form during strength training. They know just what to say to guide me. I recommend OTF Shoreline to anyone who struggles with consistency or feeling clueless in a traditional gym setting!

Great place to get fit. This OrangeTheory location stands out for its helpful, personable staffβfrom coaches to studio managers and sales associatesβwho create a welcoming and supportive environment for all fitness levels. Itβs not overcrowded, and many of the staff take classes themselves, which reinforces their belief in the program. The vibe is down-to-earth, not a βselfie studioββpeople are here to work out, not show off. The location is also convenient, with easy access to SR 99 (Aurora) and I-5.
OrangeTheoryβs method lets you participate at your own pace while monitoring fat and carb burn with real-time feedback. Compared to other fitness options, itβs less boring than Peloton, less aggressively competitive than CrossFit, while being more intense than Barre, and more running-focused than F45.
With consistent attendance (4β5 times a week), a high-protein diet, and good sleep, I gained 6β7 lbs of muscle and lost about 10 lbs of fat in 9 monthsβeven starting from a decent baseline. You can absolutely see results here.
The coaching team is a big part of the experience. Anna is my favorite coachβsuper knowledgeable about workouts, diet, and recovery and truly cares about people. Mitchell is outstanding at form correction to help avoid injuries and get more from each movement. Laura and guest coach Anthony bring great energy and fun, and both Dian and Keaton are solid, kind, and well-rounded coaches.
On the studio side, Olivia is incredibly friendly and positive and always makes me feel welcome, not just as a gym member but as a person. Halley and Julie (studio managers) do a great job keeping the studio running smoothly and making sure events are well-communicated. Sam and Lauren are also very kind, helpful, and responsive.
Overall, this is a great community and one of the best places in the area to build real fitness.

I cannot recommend Orangetheory Fitness Shoreline enough β it's truly been a game-changer for me. For the first time in my life, I've found a workout routine I genuinely enjoy and can stick with. I'm 2.5 years in, and there's no end in sight! When I started, I was pretty out of shape, but the progressive nature of the workouts has allowed me to continuously push and challenge myself as I've gotten stronger.
The front desk staff here are absolutely incredible. Julie, Sam, Olivia, and Lauren are consistently helpful, encouraging, and truly make you feel like part of the family. They greet me by name every single class and even remember my favorite stations, which is such a thoughtful touch!
And the coaches? They're simply amazing. Anna, Mitchell, Laura, and Keaton excel at creating a high-energy, inclusive, supportive, and welcoming community. They have a remarkable ability to make every class accessible, no matter your skill level or athletic ability, while also knowing exactly when to push you if that's what you're looking for.
I'll definitely keep coming back to Orangetheory Shoreline. If you're looking for a positive and supportive community focused on personal growth and challenge, I highly encourage you to try it out!

Very disappointing experience, drove 45 min from Bellevue to Shoreline to attend a class. I was 5 min and 30 second behind schedule time due the heavy traffic. Was told to head home since i was late by 5 min. Will consider canceling my membership!

I finally decided to join a gym since it was hard to keep a consistent routine on my own. It is pricey but I've managed to stay consistent which makes it worth it.
The schedule works great for me, the coaches are all encouraging and fun, and it's definitely a very good workout. I like having the heart rate monitor to help me gauge how hard to push myself and to see my cardio health improve over time.
I like that every class is a little different and the benchmarks and challenges they do are motivating.

Nothing but good things to say on month 3 of really giving OT a chance! I never thought I'd be a group workout class person but OT really is different. Folks of all different fitness levels, genders, ages, etc fill up the classes and no one makes you feel like you're not in shape enough to be there. Coach Ana is a wonderful motivator and I'm excited to continue my fitness journey with OT!

I'm extremely disappointed with the customer service I received as a long-time member. After suffering an Achilles injury that kept me out for nearly two months, I continued to pay for my membership in anticipation of returning, but ultimately decided to cancel. I reached out to cancel, expecting understanding given my family's loyalty and the business I've brought in. Instead, I was met with rudeness and a lack of empathy from the representative. Despite explaining my situation, I was charged for another month. The policy may be what it is, but the way it was handled was unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide that my family will not be returning to this gym.

It's my first time signing up for Orange Theory and I'm loving it - one of their instructors, Anthony, in particular is incredible... I don't have any weight lifting training and he's been helping correct my form and make sure I'm doing things without getting hurt. He's also maybe the highest energy person I've ever met and perfect for orange theory classes. Sign up for his classes!

I absolutely love orangetheory! I have been doing this workout for 9 years, and it is the best full-body workout for every age and level fitness level. The coaches are really great about accommodating injuries and providing feedback to improve your form. I like that I can workout at other orangetheory locations locally and internationally! I was refereed by a friend to join this gym. Made an account online, reserved for my class and showed up. The people inside werenβt welcoming. They ask each others opinion infront of me whether they should tell me to come another day or not. I spoke with Harlan earlier and told him, i am already half way convinced to join. Next thing i know, i was told to come back another time after showing up ready. Either they got enough members already & doesnβt care whether someone new joins or not or who knows the reason. But i just left. I expected much more welcoming vibe for some place that asks $200 a month for membership when less than 2 miles away there is one for just $11. Such a waste of time.

Today, I had an unfortunate experience at Orange Theory Fitness when I attempted to redeem a free class that I had signed up for 24 hours in advance. Upon arrival, the staff informed me that they were unable to honor the offer due to a mistaken belief that my address was located in a neighboring city. Instead of providing a suitable resolution or clarification, they insisted that I make a purchase in order to waive the fee. I found this lack of transparency and professionalism to be disheartening, as I had not been notified of any restrictions prior to my visit. It is crucial for businesses to accurately communicate their promotions and policies to customers in order to uphold trust and credibility.

I was a member for six months this year and would like to offer an honest review.
First off, Terry Erickson the new manager of the Shoreline location is very helpful. If you have any issues be sure to see him as he helped me resolve an issue.
1) I got the best workout in 20 years here.
2) The trainers are attentive and caring
3) The music and mic the trainer uses often is way too loud and hurt my ears. They offer ear plugs but that's not very comfortable.
4) Watching your heart rate on the monitors really does motivate you to push yourself (or slow down) to get into optimal ranges.
5) The guided stretching at the end isn't effective. Better to stay for 10min after and do your own stretching.

I had been working to convince my two friends in very north seattle to join. I brought them for their advertised free class (its literally on my app and advertised everywhere!) They made my friends pay a drop in fee despite giving them a confirmation email beforehand saying it was free. They say it was because their address (5min away) was in seattle. But they GAVE that address when they signed up and got the "its free" email! They would have signed up today but the service was so bad and they weren't willing to waive the fee. Why would they sign up when they have zero commitment to service and falsely advertised the free class? My gym is great, but the shoreline staff were very very unhelpful and I am mad enough to call. I never get mad enough to call. Or write reviews really.

This is a pretty nice location, the staff have been nothing but kind and helpful. The weight floor is a bit small and can feel cramped when the class is full. Also, I havenβt seen any 3G classes on the schedule, only 2G. The Lift45 classes are only weekday mornings, so if you work a regular job itβs hard to attend.

I started my classes at Orange theory shoreline in August 2022. During that time, I was always depressed, sick and had knees problems. Now, 8 months later, I lost weight and I donβt ever feel sick all the time. I feel very motivated and stress free. My body has never been at this shape and I am very happy about that. I donβt have any knees problems anymore. I really recommend Orange Theory with their amazing coaches and staffs.

Pros: very nice coaching and attendants! Bathrooms were clean. Ample parking.
Cons: this space is way too small - and dangerous in my opinion. The threads and rowers are stacked on top of each other, and canβt imagine if someone fell off the threads doing all out, directly onto the the rower equipment.
The floors have noticeable grooves and a collection of nasty dirt and gunk that you are laying/working out on. Itβs obvious the floor is hard to clean and maintain.
Weight floor layout is super cramped and awkward. A lot of bumping into each other and navigating your neighbors workout.

Iβve never been to a βlocal gymβ with so many arbitrary policies that are against the customer. I get the feeling that this studio literally does not care if you get any value from it, they just want your money and they donβt want to be flexible.
This makes me feel unwelcome. Iβve had emails and voicemails to management that have gone unanswered. Iβve been refused from entering class because I didnβt make it exactly at the cutoff and then lost my class credit.
The cancellation policies are literally meant to take your money - an extra $169 you will probably not see again. Theyβre tone deaf to your situation and the only answer youβre going to get is βthat is our policyβ.
And honestly, the workouts get boring. The taste is music is not inspiring. There is no variety because there has literally only been one coach for the past 4 months. Not to mention there has been limited availability of slots (i.e nothing on Friday afternoon or evening).
Of course management wants you to understand that they are dealing with a pandemic. But they do not extend that same empathy towards you.
Would absolutely not recommend this studio or any other OTF to anyone.

All locations across the country run the same program each day. So you can travel and keep your workout sequence. The only diff. is the music. Each instructor creates their own playlist.
Want to get fit and lose body fat? Do this HIIT program. Just for fun, I cut alcohol, sugar, and dense carbs. And have done OT now for one month. I follow with weight training at the gym. I'm 58. Don't recognize myself in the mirror. Never had a six pack . Got one now.

I paused my membership before the pandemic and to my shock, OTF Shoreline suddenly resumed service and charged my credit card in April for $164. When I called I was informed that they had emailed every member to inform them their memberships would be restored but I never received such an email. Itβs insane that after more than a year of hardship, the policy was to give people one opportunity to OPT OUT rather than IN. OTF refuses to issue a refund because I apparently didnβt see the charge on my credit card in time, missing their arbitrary two week window. Again, I was never informed by phone or email that classes were resumed at all. Truly disappointed that this gym aligns with its peers in deceptive and unforgiving billing practices.

I had a great first visit to the Shoreline Orange Theory. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the coach was fantastic. The hour was intense, but went by quickly and I left feeling stronger - both physically and mentally. I especially like how I could see my heart rate which helped me push myself to reach the orange zone and earn those splat points!

My home studio since 9/18/2019. I feel so GREAT after each workout regardless of how I felt before going in. I love the warm welcome as soon as you walk inπππ. The Coaches at Shoreline Studio are Professional, Personable, Knowledgeable. It seems like they want you to succeed at your own pace. They encourage you to do more, guide you if you need it. Every time, as you are working out and as they are coaching the group, they really are talking the whole hour π. When I start to really listen, they are teaching us the goal, the plan, how to use the equipment in the house and the orangetheory terminologies. I go to different hours of the day because of my work schedule. I get to see different coaches and members. The members are "very cool". Everyone really mind their own business. It is A group workout but makes you feel like you had your own individual workout for that hour.

Orange Theory Shoreline has been a completely amazing fitness experience for me and my wife. In fact, my wife trained for her first marathon, and I for my first ultra-marathon utilizing only Orange Theory as a part of our workout regimen. The community that exists for those who subscribe to Orange Theory is also amazing. I travel quite a bit all of the US and it has been really enjoyable to find a location nearby to where I am working and I can have realistic expectations about the kind of workout that I am going to have.

Been doing OTF for 2 years now. Love the coaches and the workouts are always different. I have been a workout enthusiast for my whole life but struggled with "pushing" my heart zones up on my own. Workouts are challenging but also coaches advise if you are not at your best that day--its ok to take it down a notch.

I joined OTF about a year ago and it has been one of the most rewarding things I have been a part of. The staff and coaches are always helpful, kind and motivating. I love that each class is totally different from the last. It's important to me that the trainer teaches me how to use the equipment and position myself appropriately. The equipment changes and includes items I may not otherwise ever introduce into a self-led workout. The music is great, keeps my energy high. I personally thrive off the group effort - pushing myself harder from a competitive side while not feeling the need to beat others but rather keep up. I enjoy running but need the strength training in my routine - OrangeTheory delivers an all-in-one workout class!

I love the variety! It makes the hour fly by. Love that cardio is a combo of treadmill, rower and active weight room exercises. And I love that the weight room workout hits the whole body; arms, legs and core. The coaches are great and help keep things safe and moving along (I can do anything for 90 seconds or less with someone inspiring and motivating me). Being able to track oxygen levels visually on the screen helps to get in/stay in the ultimate zone - the whole concept is fantastic. I've been going for a year and a half about 3 times a week and have lost 20 lbs and, more importantly, am stronger and healthier. I'm a raving fan and tell anyone who asks!

I love the energetic instructors, they keep me going when I get tired! Fun, loud music motivates me to keep moving until the end. And with the highly structured workouts, I never have to wonder, "what should I do next?" It's challenging and I can see my body changing and getting stronger and more defined. My running has improved and I have PR'd the last two races I've run (one road and one trail). The coaches are supportive and encouraging and have great energy. The group dynamic sparks my competitive spirit.

The facility was really nice, staff were very welcoming and not pushy like other places. The work out pushed me to new limits, which is exactly why I wanted to try it out. The last thing I really enjoyed was that after the class the coach announced a few events, such as a hike, and a shoe fitting that everyone was welcome to attend.

Don't know how I lived without this gym! I've been a member for a year, have lost about 40 pounds and feel stronger and more fit than I ever have in my life. The staff (coaches and front desk) and other members are all incredibly friendly and motivating, joining this gym is like joining a community. The gym is always extremely clean, and the classes are perfect for people of all levels. The combo of rowing, weight lifting, and running makes every workout a complete full body workout, but most importantly, the coaches personalities and music selection make the classes extremely fun. These classes started out extremely hard (and they still are), and I used to dread coming in, but after about a month, I was hooked and couldn't stay away. Highly recommend giving it a try!

I absolutely love Orange Theory as a workout plan but what I really want to share is how great everyone is at OTF Shoreline. Seriously, what a positive, supportive place. Get this...one day, my car broke down about 20 blocks away just before class and when I called to let them know...the MANAGER came to get me so I wouldn't miss class. Seriously, who does that?! The coaches are endlessly enthusiastic and encouraging. The workouts are different every day. And tech for booking classes, etc is really easy to use.
Even when a new OTF opened closer to my house, I STILL drive to Shoreline!

OTF Shoreline is amazing!
I feel lucky to have met the trainers and staff here who have always been supportive and helpful. From the friendly front desk staff who never forgets to ask me how I was doing to the trainers who never stop cheering and supporting me while I'm doing my
PUSH PACE and ALL OUT on the treadmill and the rower. They have always been strong motivators for me to work hard.
I remember starting my first day here super out of shape and feeling extremely nervous and unsure if I would be able to survive the training here but 7 months later, I am now stronger and fitter and a proud member of the OTF family and would definitely recommend anyone who wants a positive healthy change in life to join OTF Shoreline.

I love this place! Not only for the workout-- let me just throw in that it's amazing. The group class is the right amount of push and the workouts are never boring. I always find myself coming in thinking "I'm tired, I'm going to take it easy" and I find myself pushing myself each and every time. It's not even the coaches (though they are amazing) its that when I'm there I just want to do better and better! The structure is something that can be made to work for any fitness level. And, to top it off the staff is THE BEST.

I've been a member of OTF Shoreline since they opened in February 2016. Their workouts are definitely challenging but don't feel intimidated as members come in all shapes and sizes, ages, and fitness levels. The hour usually goes by quickly and you walk out feeling great and energized. I've had classes with all the coaches and they are all fantastic - you really can't go wrong with any of them!
Prior to joining, I was pretty sedentary with no regular workout routine. They have classes as early as 4:45am and as late as 8pm so I am able to attend class 3-5 times a week. Booking classes is done through an app which makes it easy to plan out your schedule. I love that OTF has helped me shed a few unwanted pounds and gain some muscle; I love it even more that it's totally transformed my mindset about exercise and fitness. I never really liked exercising but now I enjoy it so much that I miss it when I'm out sick or on vacation. That's how much I love this place!

I love OTF! I've been a member for a couple of months now. I signed up after my first class without hesitation. I typically attend about four times per week. When I signed up, I was looking for a way to get back to a regular fitness routine after having my daughter. I needed a place that offered a variety of class times and a well rounded workout. In the short time I've been a member, I have noticed significant improvements in my speed and endurance. The wonderful thing about OTF workouts is that there is always room for growth and improvement. A variety of workouts are offered and I never get bored. I genuinely look forward to going to class regularly. The staff is friendly and attentive. I've been so pleased with my experience, I recently got my husband to join in on the fun!

I have met tons of awesome people that have become like a second family to me since I joined OTF in 2016. I have gained strength, endurance and confidence in my athletic abilities. Thanks to OTF I completed my first Tough Mudder last year and am doing my first half marathon in a couple months. Love all the trainers, but especially Amanda and Josh! I have been working out at a gym (off and on) since I was 19 years old. Before OTF it was just a conventional gym. I'd say the last 10 years I was just going through the motions, not even breaking a sweat. For periods of time I just couldn't motivate to even go. 9 months ago, I decided I needed a change and tried out OTF Shoreline. Best decision ever! OTF is exactly what I needed to kick myself into gear and actually get results. I would say that at 39 years old I am in better shape than I have ever been. Not just looks, but my cardio, weight training and overall health is better than ever. The coaches are amazingly motivating. I go 3-4 times per week and it almost feels addicting! I average about 600 calories per hour work out and I'm always drenched in sweat. I'm actually glad the cost is more expensive than my old $20 per month gym because it forces me to go! You don't need to be in good shape to start, you go at your personal pace of what you are comfortable with, and you will quickly see yourself pushing harder. Highly recommended!

Imposed structure. I don't have to know or invent exercises. I get told what to do, how to do it, how many times to do it and when I can stop. The heart monitor helps regulate intensity and if I over do it (often) I slow down. This limits the "hurt" while ensuring I get a good workout.

I first tried Orange Theory at Shoreline last April with my daughter Tiffany. I was hooked. I started working out forty years ago and have tried it all- aerobics, Pilates, running , belonging to gyms, private trainer and more. This by far is my favorite. I feel great when I leave a class and it makes me want to eat healthy all the time. I have always been into eating healthy but Orange Theory even inspires me more. The trainers are great and they make me want to do this as it seems like it is fun and I never dread going. When not here we are at our house in Scottsdale where I also go. I try to do three days on and one off. I can' not say enough good things about Orange Theory. It is my happy drug. Go OT. Liz

This is a great workout with trainers who push you at a healthy pace for you, not a push you would expect at break-your-soul gym. I love being able to see my heart rate up on the screen to help me recognize how my pushes and recoveries are going.
