We love OTF South Hill, the best workout ever that continuously brings great results (and fun)! The energy is great, thanks to the studio team and client community both being so friendly and motivating. Studio has a nice, roomy & organized setup with clean showers. Exercises are different each day and thoughtfully designed by experts to build/maintain each participant's endurance, strength, and power no matter where they are in their fitness journey.
I love that the workout is a well-rounded blend of cardio & toning work, after other workouts I’d been doing were way more one than the other. The splats/ heart rate metrics & benchmarks are a fun motivator and got me more interested in the impacts of hard work!
When I began OTF amid different pandemic shutdowns, I just wanted to start moving again- to feel better physically and mentally. Now I want to move faster and longer to be in my best shape- for whatever stage I’m in, including pregnancies & now postpartum- and am so happy to be achieving more than I ever thought possible of myself. I see OTF as a longterm practice since I do really think that it gives me “more life”. My hubby and I call it “Orange Therapy” since we feel we need it as much to keep us sane & as to keep us physically capable of chasing around our wild crew!

Love it here! I've been a member for 2 years or so. All the coaches are great but I have to say Erika is my fave! She really pays attention to our form and also has so much energy and just keeps us going! And I like her play list! It gets me pumped! All the coaches are nice! Great environment!

Friendly staff welcomes you into the BEST one-hour HIIT workout (don't be scared if you aren't a runner or don't consider yourself a strong lifter - you'll choose a pace and weight set that suits YOU for each workout) with energetic, fun music and coaches that will lead you to seeing rewarding results!
A friend inspired me to try ‘OTF’, and I instantly liked how efficient the one-hour workout was (AKA: it kicked my butt in less than 60 minutes) and that the workout changed every day to focus on different muscle groups (upper body, lower body, core) and different POWER, ENDURANCE, or STRENGTH-based templates (i.e. one day you may do inclines on the treadmill, the next day coaches may encourage you to do powerful bursts of speed on the tread, and the weightlifting exercises and rowing also changes each day), and fun challenges like "OTF Bingo" help mix things up so even if I go 5 or more days a week, I don't get bored as the workouts/music/challenges change.
I’ve been going to Orangetheory for years now and it keeps me coming back, 700+ classes and counting, thanks to these fun workouts with fun music, getting to track my personal progress, and the amazing staff at the South Hill location that inspires and leads me to being a stronger, healthier, better version of myself with such enthusiasm and encouragement…countless laughs and smiles as I’m sweating.
Head Coach Erika Hoglund is a BEAST who recently ran a 50 mile ultra race and took first place amongst all the other women, so that tells you the kind of inspiring coach you have encouraging you to lift heavier, run faster, and push yourself to a new personal record.
I’ve continued to do that thanks to my orangetheory fitness classes, including a new PR this year in my 10k, half marathon, and marathon races.
Now I believe the best is yet to come and that I can continue to push myself to be stronger, faster, healthier… but above all, Orangetheory is my ‘therapy/treatment’ of choice. These classes make me feel more confident, less anxious, less stressed, more focused, more ready to take on whatever life throws this working mamma’s way.
I love seeing my health (heart rate/cardiovascular, body fat percentage, strength, sleep...the list goes on) improve and I wish for everyone to find a fitness program they enjoy the way I love OTF !
I’m so thankful I found a program I truly love and look forward to going to, and the community at Orangetheory South Hill can’t be beat! (We’re number one!!!)

I visited South Hill from Arizona this summer and had the amazing opportunity to take class with Coach Chloe while Ericka worked the desk! My cross regional visit was smooth and both of them hosted me so graciously! I had the privilege of working with Chloe at OTF in AZ and have watched her grow from an SA to a confident, intelligent, and amazing coach! From my visit I could tell Ericka was knowledgable of all things orangetheory and both ladies were personable, and cared about their OTF community! I have been going to Orange Fitness for almost a year now with roughly 130 classes. Balancing my diet and exercise, I have lost 50 lbs.
I am very busy so it's fantastic showing up to class and the workouts are already planned. The numerous different challenges and special workouts through the year are motivating because you are always trying to do better on a different goal. Those that enjoy goal tracking and seeing improvements in different area will love this aspect.
The icing on the cake is the amazing coaches with the different personalities all giving you fantastic advice when you take a few minutes to talk with them about your goals and even following up with you on your goals.
Coach Erica is always pushing you to improve but is impressive in her own right making you want to achieve more.
Coach Chloe and Coach Felix also encourage you to improve and have helped me a lot with form and advice that's been clutch! They have helped me a lot.
Lastly the up and coming Coach Drake is already making his mark by offering some helpful form advice and jazzing up the exercises such as being our Sherpa on the recent Mount Everest challenge.
I am having a fantastic time continuing to show up and challenge myself each day and have no concerns recommending anyone to come in to the South Hill Orange Theory that's looking for a somewhat balance between cardio and weights.

After 9 years and 1850 Orangetheory workouts, OTF continues to be the constant that keeps me motivated, in amazing shape, a better runner, disciplined, and part of an amazing "fit fam". OTF South Hill is the place to be! The coaches are friendly and fun and are super invested in making sure you get the most out of your workout. They also double as the welcoming faces behind the front desk when they’re not coaching. There are fun events and workouts to look forward to year-round. (12 Days of Fitness pictured!) I recently moved back to Spokane after years in Colorado. I tried out a few gyms before my first class at Orangetheory South Hill in March of 2024. I started with a couple classes a week, but eventually I found myself eager to be in the studio at least 5 and sometimes 7 days a week. The energy of the coaches, the music, the orange lights are motivating. Those that run next to me on the treadmill soon became friends and OTF is now like family. The workouts focus on Endurance, Strength and/or Power. They are often themed and OTF ensures members are able to get into the spirt by dressing up or completing challenges to earn raffle tickets. In addition, this encourages members to set goals and milestones and allow you to track how far you have come. If you are thinking about OTF I can't say enough good things about the studio. In addition, as I do travel a lot I am able to see how other studies are set up and run and I must say the Spokane South Hill studio is pretty darn lucky to have the coaches (Erika, Chloe, Felix and Drake) and the members it does. Definitely, sign up for a free class. I guarantee you'll be hooked.

I *always* feel great (even if completely worn out) after OTF. And I *never* regret having gone, even when I have to adjust my schedule to make it. I've been working out with OTF since 2018. When we moved from the Bay Area to Spokane, I was pleased to find two OTF studios close to my new home. I work out at the South Hill studio at least a few times a week. The coaches -- Chloe, Felix, Drake, and head coach Erika -- always check in on every member during sessions to make sure we're getting the most out of the workout.

I could sit and literally write a novel on what OTF- South Hill, the coaches, and the members there have done for me…but I’ll spare everyone. The workouts are the most challenging and simultaneously time efficient work outs I’ve ever done. I’ve accomplished fitness goals that have been YEARS in the making (after joining only 9 months ago). The coaches are amazing at finding the perfect balance of encouragement, tough love, and helping you realize your potential-even when it’s challenging to do so. And the community of amazing people I’ve met along the way has been priceless. OTF really is for everyone. Scalable workouts, challenging every time, in the best environment. Steve and I were visiting Spokane for a military event and wanted to get in a good workout at OTF. We were getting in a pre-workout stretch when owner, Dmitri, introduced himself and welcomed us to his studio. How cool. Coach Felix was great and SA Nevaha was super sweet and took a group photo of the four of us after class. Steve and I appreciated Dmitri for welcoming us and making us feel like we were “home.” Keep up the great work, South Hill OTF!

Here at orange theory it is a good environment that helps me get motivated to workout especially during cold months. The workouts are as challenging as I want them depending on how hard I push myself (or the coach pushes me 😆). The treadmills are very nice to run on especially for someone like me who has lower spine scoliosis. They have some nice modified moves on the weight floor just in case my lower back is hurting that day too. Coach Erika is awesome 😎 She is very charismatic and encourages you to keep moving. Everyone here is very friendly.

I have been wanting to find a place that felt like a good fit. I came across an ad for a free class at Orange Theory Fitness. I thought why not? Now I am so glad I did. The staff are amazing and motivating. Shannon, one of the trainers was very nice and professional. She didn’t push me too hard and she explained workouts very well. Jade was also nice and explained the businesses pricing plans well. The workout itself was amazing. I worked out so many muscles. I will definitely be back and I would definitely recommend.

This gym is great and the instructors are great HOWEVER they are way too busy. Good luck getting into a weekend class or an early AM class. There are always waitlists. I’m not from Spokane and the gyms in my city rarely have a waitlist and if they do it’s only a couple people. Would recommend adding additional coaches and doing 3G classes to combat some of that pending a new OTF opening in Spokane. If you do go, book well in advance.

Impossible to quit the membership, feel like they just want the money regardless of your situation. If you join, plan on a lengthy process to try and quit your membership and always count on having to owe money to them.
They also don’t respond to emails if you send a complaint or concern. Customer service needs improvement.

I like that the workouts change relatively daily, and the coaches take interest in your personal goals. Coach Erick had noticed I was on the tread longer than normal the other day, before I switched to the bike. He offered some words of encouragement and advice on how to progress further.

Orange Theory has given me just the right amount of accountability for my workouts without feeling like I have to keep up with everyone. As a 63 yr old woman I need the push that Orange Theory provides and the freedom to modify when necessary. All of the instructors are great at supper and encouragement. I can’t say enough how much I love this gym! Super motivating and very friendly staff that cares about your fitness journey! Not a traditional gym, OTF is completely class based. Another thing I love it’s that it is super technology based. You wear a heart rate monitor to track and watch your heart rate for every workout. Your stats appear on the monitors as you workout. They have a really great app that you can see every workout and your progress over time.

I had to put my account on hold when Covid restrictions went into effect for Washington State. I tried arranging to cancel my account, but when I arrived at the scheduled time, the door was locked. (To avoid coming into contact with too many people, I was told I could come in between 1pm and 3pm. I arrived around 2pm.) The employees did see me and pointedly ignored my phone call. I will be filing a charge back and not dealing with this place again.

This is the BEST place to get in a full-body workout! I’ve been going for 3 years and will NEVER STOP. The results are amazing, the coaches are fun and upbeat, and the music makes it fun! FANTASTIC atmosphere and community. Great place to workout to stay motivated in health and fitness! LOVE IT!

I do not workout here but I do want to express my appreciation for the staff. First and foremost they have a refreshing yet professional approach to people. I was taken aback by my first meeting with one their staff, she was exceptionally helpful and kind. I asked about the local gyms and gave me so much information, thank you. My second encounter was equally pleasant, the secretary allowed me to remove the snow from the sidewalk and walkway. And finally the 3rd encounter was with a gentlemen, he too was kind, respectful and polite. So if you need a good fitness or cardio workout go see OrangeTheory off of 29th Avenue.

I had been on the fence about joining OTF for about a year and kept hearing so many people talk about it. I finally decided to give it a try and was hooked after my first workout! I signed up on the spot! The atmosphere is great, the coaches and staff are friendly and engaging, and the music is super motivating! In the past, I used to have to plan out my workouts and think about what exercise to do next. Now, I just walk through the door and don’t even have to think twice about it. I’m hooked!

They are self paced and the hour flies by! From somebody who has asthma I was super worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up in class but every workout is customizable to you and your needs. Today was my 7th class and I actually ran on the treadmill! I didn’t ever feel the ability to push myself to try that in a normal gym setting and always thought my asthma would make it impossible, but Orange Theory has removed all the doubt and helped push me outside my boundaries!

I seriously have loved my workouts! The coaches push me to do my best and encourage me to only compare myself to myself as far as my progress goes. The classes are challenging but fun. They keep you on your toes and keep you engaged with the workout. There is NOTHING boring about an Orange Theory workout! I love it! I’ve only been going for a week and I can see huge changes in my body composition already, and I wasn’t new to the gym. So excited to keep having fun and getting results!

Love OTF South Hill! I travel about once a month for work and frequent different OTFs around the country. This is one of my favorite locations to visit. The coaches and front desk staff are all friendly, energetic and welcoming. If you have a chance, catch a class with Darrin. One of the best OTF coaches' classes I've ever taken!

I like that it allows me to push myself to grow physically and mentally. The workout templates are new and different everyday preventing boredom and burnout, the music is loud and motivating, the coaches are encouraging and helpful and the group atmosphere is inspiring. It’s fun to see myself and others change. Also I can always guarantee that I have accomplished at least one extremely difficult thing everyday.

I get a full body workout that never ceases to kick my butt. I love having friendly coaches who encourage everyone to be their best and celebrate victories (which I've had a lot of personal bests and victories within the past 6 weeks). OTF has a positive vibe and uplifting atmosphere where everyone encourages and high fives their neighbors. I also appreciate the staff being helpful for alternate workout options if you have injuries. I've struggled with shin splints since I started running again and the coaches have taken the time to explain modifications that I can do during workouts as well as give me stretches and exercises I can do at home to help. I'm in love with OTF!

I am a retired college athlete and I am obsessed with the intensity of the workout. It's got a little bit of everything and no two days are the same - I really appreciate that because I'm never bored!
