This is probably the first gym that’s ever helped me make progress significantly in both my physique and the sport of lifting itself! Chris and Kayla are truly masters in the sport, and the social community they’ve cultivated here is second to none. Since I’ve gotten sick, I’ve had to put my lifting journey on pause, but I really look forward to the day I’ll be back. If you have the chance to sign up for Paramount Fitness, don’t hesitate! I love this place! I've been taking olympic weightlifting and CrossFit classes here and been having the time of my life! The classes are so much fun and the coaches are so supportive and inspiring. This gym is a big part of my life and it feels like home.

I’ve been going to the Olympic weightlifting sessions for the last month and absolutely love it. Chris is awesome about giving feedback and helping you build a solid foundation for your lifts. Super clean gym, great equipment, awesome tunes. The oly programming is the real deal - if you’ve been wanting to focus on building up snatch and clean & jerk, this is the place to do it!
I also love that everyone says bye when you leave the gym at the end of your session 🥹

Growing up, I was really spoiled by having a small community gym only a few miles from me. After college, I tried and failed to keep a rhythm of going to the gym over the years, mostly because all that was available to me were big corporate gyms where I was really just a membership number to them. I haven’t been going to Paramount Strength and Conditioning for very long, but I already feel like I’ve found that sense of community that I was missing. I finally want to go to the gym again. I’ve only really interacted with Chris the owner and Paolo, one of the coaches, but they’re both very nice and knowledgeable and focused on helping you achieve your goals. If you’re tired of big corporate gyms, check out Paramount. You won’t be disappointed.

The coaches and weightlifting team at Paramount are the finest you'll find. I am a competitive masters weightlifter and a member of Team Paramount. I train with Paramount through their remote athlete options (I live in Florida!) and meet up with the team and coaches at competitions. If you are looking for a weightlifting coach and/or programming - no need to be limited by what is available in your town - give Paramount a call.

Paramount is one of the most welcoming gyms I’ve ever been a member of. This is no ordinary spandex and lipstick sports club. Owner Chris Douglas and his coaching staff bring an exceptional level of technical competence and competitive experience. The members are friendly and cheerfully celebrate each others success and effort. I was nervous walking in to a new gym but Chris was approachable, supportive and encouraging. The rest of the coaching staff was great too. The wealth of knowledge and experience is really impressive. They understand that different people are motivated in different ways, and know how to push you to new limits while staying encouraging and keeping it fun and safe. There is a huge emphasis on proper form, technique, and safety. For the first time ever I enjoyed being in the gym and looked forward to my workouts! Great experience dropping in on Kayla's 7am Crossfit class - welcoming, informed, and energetic! Clean gym with quality equipment (bars, plates, platforms, etc.). Furthermore, Chris (the owner) was extremely helpful when I called ahead. Will definitely go again when in the area!

I joined Paramount in March of 2018 as a 64 year old male who could not do a push up,pull up, bur pee or lift any weight over my head that exceeded 45 lbs. I also had no motion in my shoulders which limited my lifting and squatting abilities. It is now Nov. 2018 and I'm doing 175# squats, push ups and just finished a 6 week challenge in the top 5. I accredit all my progress to my coach Ms. Vanessa June Dickens and staff of Paramount Strength.
It is now May 24th 2019 and I'm still coming to Paramount. I now back squat 235#, front squat 205# and bench press 175#. This gym has a new coach Kayla who has made numerous improvements and is quite the athlete. The best part which I enjoy more than any thing else is the people. I look forward to hanging more with them then on a bar! Keep up the great job Paramount!

Let’s face it, going to a gym and getting in or staying in shape is hard work so the place you go will make a big difference. At Paramount S&C you not only have experienced coaches and a solid strength and conditioning program you have a terrific community. The community is what keeps me coming back. They are a friendly, diverse group of people who are in a wide range of age groups and physical condition. If you want to get in shape and have fun, this is the place to go. If you are into Olympic lifting or just want to get stronger, this also is the place to go as they have outstanding Oly coaches. You will not get bored working out here.

The coaches and the members are some of the best I've encountered in the fitness world! The coaches are hands on and guide all their students to have proper form and aren't afraid to push you outside your athletic comfort zone. CrossFit Paramount has incredible hospitality! I am visiting Seattle and was immediately welcomed into the community at Paramount. Coach Vanessa is so friendly and encouraging. She asked me questions about my CF history and injuries, and continually offered technique tips for the snatch EMOM. Throughout the triplet, she was encouraging me as well as the other athletes. This lady knows her stuff and is one of the best coaches I've trained under when visiting another gym. The facility itself is easy to find, plenty of parking and has wooden platforms for lifting. Solid quality equipment, well laid out and well ventilated, with a strong sense of community. I highly recommend checking out CrossFit Paramount if you're visiting the Seattle area.

Did a drop in class a week ago and loved it. The atmosphere was welcoming and the coach was great. I loved the fact that this gym really focused on making sure form was correct and modify exercises for those who needed. I have to say the only reason I didn't join this gym was because of my work schedule, when I got back home it would take over an hour with traffic to get there and that would mean I would miss the warm up for the last class of the evening. Otherwise I would be happy to join this gym. If you can get to the classes on time I would highly suggest this place.

I've been crossfitting for 3+ years. I attended an Olympic Lifting Clinic at CrossFit Paramount and it was the best olympic lifting coaching I've had. Chris and Peter really know their stuff. I love Crossfit Paramount. The coaching is the best I have had in the past 4 years of crossfit gyms all over the country. Their programming is intelligent & focused, and flexible based on your goals. Clients are nice and happy people who range from young to old and from beginners to hard-chargers. CFP is a supportive, motivating, and positive atmosphere for first timers and competitive athletes and everyone in between. (Meaning no one here is rude, elitist, or pretends like that are training for an 8-gold-medal-showing at the summer Olympic Games when they're not. They also aren't pushy about paleo which is seriously a relief! Just sayin'). And they run great lifting clinics. CFP is a credit to the xfit community!
