First timer for yoga - I've been attending several level 1-2 sessions in the last few months. The instructors have always ensured I felt comfortable as a beginner. They always check on our well-being at the start of class and adjust the routine accordingly, always providing different options for modifications. If you're a newbie like me, I encourage you to try them out and get a work-out + mindfulness practice.

I've had an amazing time at Patva Yoga as an absolute beginner to Yoga. All of the instructors are so patient and understanding during practice. Even though I was entirely new to everything, each practice was structured in a way that felt catered to those that were new like me as well as being suitable for more experienced yogis that could take more advanced modifications.

There is also plenty of equipment made available (blocks, blankets, straps, bolsters, etc.) so all that's needed is a yoga mat. Class sizes are not too large which helps to get more personalized instruction periodically. Each instructor also works hard to get to know each person to understand any past injuries or problem areas which allows them to provide custom advice for everyone to make the most of each practice.

Highly recommend Patva Yoga for anyone that is interested in yoga!

I absolutely love Patva Yoga! I started with the Beginner Yoga Series after a long break and immediately fell in love with the place. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, supported, and seen. The classes are thoughtfully led and always leave me feeling calm, grounded, and more connected.

I've been going to prenatal yoga classes at Patva Yoga in Bothell and it's honestly been one of the best parts of my week. 💛 The instructors, Arpana and Hunter, are so thoughtful and give each of us personal attention to make sure we're moving safely and breathing with intention.

The classes include stretching, core work, pelvic floor strengthening, and end with the most peaceful Yoga Nidra meditation. It’s such a supportive space for pregnancy — everything is modified to meet your body where it’s at.

Patva yoga is a rarity among studios. The focus is more traditional and technique based. If you want strength, balance and flexibility, you will find it here. If you want sweating and cardio this isn’t your place. If you want to deepen your practice, skill wise, you need to try here. You will be met at your level and then taught how to advance. Arpana is a master at creating sequences to prepare the body for challenging poses.
There is no music, heat or gongs. No distractions, just you and your mind.

Highly reccomend Patva Yoga. Arpana is nice to work with for both my wife and I. Had both my rotator cuffs reattached and hips replaced and she has helped me get better flexibility in both than before surgery. I am a 62 year old jiu jitsu black belt who rolls 3 times a week. I credit yoga keeping me jury free since my repairs. I highly reccomend.

The owner Arpana has created such a special yoga community in Bothell. Arpana is pretty experienced and an attentive yoga teacher! I have gone to several classes taught by her as well as Hunter and Dee. Excellent yoga classes across the board.

I leave each class feeling a greater sense of connection with mind, body and soul than when I first arrive. I really appreciate how the sequences flow. There is something for everyone at every level, from beginners to advanced.

If you’re looking for traditional yoga, this studio offers just that. This studio teaches more than just asana, but yoga as a way of living. That’s what I was looking for and so glad to have found it! Small parking lot in the back as well as plenty of street parking.

I really appreciate the option for online classes! There’s also prenatal yoga here. From what I’ve seen, the class is almost always full. Such a great community, the other students are lovely. In my opinion, the best yoga studio in Bothell!

The prenatal yoga program that Arpana offers is very well organized. The program offers core exercises, stretching, pelvic floor strengthening and guided meditation sessions like Yoga Nidra. Special mention to the most amazing Yoga Nidra practice that happens at the end of each session using singing bowl and chime music, it takes you to another dimension of relaxation in the midst of the life's hustle and bustle. I feel so much connected to my baby in this session <3.

Arpana is the sweetest instructor ever. She takes care of providing all the necessary equipment needed for extra support during prenatal exercises like yoga blocks, bolster and soft throw for additional comfort. She makes sure that everyone is comfortable during the session and also offers modifications unique to individual needs. She creates such a positive and stress-free environment that I always feel relaxed and reenergized after the session.

Patva Yoga is the perfect place to unwind, relax and meet fellow soon-to-be-moms :) This is a hidden gem and I am glad I found this place!

I take pre-natal yoga classes at Patva Yoga. Arpana is an excellent coach. She gives clear instructions and helps out when you are struggling with any pose. There is a lot of focus on strengthening the pelvic area which has been helpful with my round ligament pains. She also includes some breathing exercises (pranayama) in the session which helps reduce stress. The pace and intensity of the class seems perfect to me. I always feel super refreshed after the class. Highly recommend!

Arpana is the yoga instructor of this newly opened studio. I have been attending her classes for quite sometime now and i couldn’t be more satisfied. She is very knowledgeable and would take her time to explain to the class the poses and what are the target muscles in that way we can get the maximum benefits of it. I used to have a stiffness problem in my left shoulder/collar bone was always stiff and tight when I first started yoga with Arpana at Patva. About a month into my classes, I no longer felt the stiffness and I also felt myself slowly growing stronger and my endurance increase. I have now been doing yoga for the past 6 months and definitely feel the difference. Arpana is an amazing yoga teacher. She breaks down and explains each yoga move/pose, where you should feel the effect and the benefit the pose has for you. I attended Patva Yoga for prenatal classes. When I first reached out to Arpana, she took a lot of interest to understand what exactly I was looking for in my prenatal yoga journey. She created a personalized flow, taking into consideration the trimester and body flexibility.

She was very patient, she would make sure to explain each pose - the importance of it, the right way of getting in to the pose and coming out of it.

I was thinking about the yoga for a long time. I felt that 4-5 strength workouts a week was taking a toll on my 64 years old body and I was so excited when my CrossFit gym started to offer the yoga classes where Arpana teaches her magic. I jumped in and, oh boy, what a right decision I made! I started to feel the improved mobility just after six classes. I am also very glad that due to the small class size, Arpana gives more personal attention and help with all those poses, which are difficult and confusing. I also introduced my daughter and a friend to this amazing activity and now we are doing it together, which is a LOT of Fun!

I loveee Arpana's teaching style, I look forward to her class every time and would take it everyday if i could!
