Years ago I was kicked out of the Everett location after the transition to P F from a gym I already lifted at. Apparently they didn't like my " grunting" at the deadlift station. Now that I am a bit older and have learned to keep a relaxed face and the only sound I exert is a deep breath I have no qualms. I really enjoy the upgrade and feel super relaxed after 10 minutes seated in the massage chair! Perfect way to top off a killer intense sesh

I like this planet fitness. It’s weirdly shaped. Really long, but feels clean compared to other planet fitnesses. Still wish there were barbells and a couple of squat racks along side all the smith machines.

Great deal for their PF Black membership. I toured all the gyms in the Lake Stevens area and this was the best value for all they offer in the area. Overall feels clean and well maintained.

Joined for the strength training and hadn't lifted weights in over a decade so I was pretty intimidated. Sarah is such a blessing! She spent over an hour with me, walking me through how to use things and what exercises to try out to meet my goals.

Love the amenities and the location is great, parking is easy. I started going to the Everett location more because I prefer the larger space. Lake Stevens is a little smaller so the machines are closer together. The staff here is the best though in my opinion. Better staffed and super friendly. Recommended.

Update: To date no one has addressed this concern and I have not been able to use my membership. Very disappointing.
Very very disrespectful and immature staff. As I was calling to report the staff, they came out to the door and pointed at my car in the first handicap spot near the door and one of the customers began approaching my car. Thankfully they were just intimidating me and turned and went back in. They refused to give me their real names and made fun and laughed as they gave me fake names. I had my 14yo son with me. I sure hope they are not there the next time I use my long time membership.
**I see that you suggest everyone contact the locations manager which is difficult to do when they refuse to tell you their names and refuse to help you. I sent a complaint to the support email and will be calling corporate Monday morning. If we are to seek management for help, management should be able to be found. I expect more than the “owners” standard response.

Facility is new and that's about the only thing good about this planet fitness. The front desk staff are just wall ornaments either half asleep at the desk literally sitting in a chair wrapped in a blanket or on their phone or tablet not even welcoming guests when they come in. I asked a question about when the water filter would be changed as it had been in the red for over a week and they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. If I was the owner I would be very dissapointed in the way they are representing your bussiness.

Today was my first visit to this facility in Lake Stevens, Wa. When I signed up, I was assured there would be someone on the floor to assist on proper use of the equipment. I started on a bike just to warm up. Once done with the warm up I looked around for a particular machine that I used in physical therapy. I found two, sat down and was unable to determine the proper use. I proceeded to the front desk as I could not identify any employee on the floor. The front desk girl (Sofia) said she could not leave the front desk. Then informed me the person who would be able to help was in a class. She asked me "what machine did I have questions about"? I told her I did not know the name. She then walked away to help another member as I stood there. She than got back to me and asked me again what machine? I explained for a second time I did not know. At this point there was no reason to stay any longer. I asked her to cancel the membership. I do not feel there should be any monthly charge for a ten minute bike ride and no explanation on that machine either. Not everyone can just walk into a gym and know how all the equipment works. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to a gym experience in my new neighborhood. I would not recommend Planet Fitness.

The worst gym in lake stevens. Staff been the entire time that they are there talking to each other or on the phone texting. Nothing gets cleaned. Nothing gets done. They double bill you and then when you asked to talk to a manager, they refused to connect you to a manager. They pretend the person on the phone is the manager and tell you asked for the manager by name and then they tell you that they are never there. Amy is completely rude and unhelpful. She pretends like she’s management but she is nothing but a front desk agent. She seems to think that she runs the gym however she refuses to help you unless you give her all of your personal information and point length that she would not pass my information off to the manager, if I didn’t talk to her first, however she is not able to help me with my problem.

Please put more signs up telling members to wipe off the machines. I’ve seen so many people not wiping down the equipment or in the black card spa. This makes it easier for people to get sick and people with weak immune systems like myself shouldn’t have to go through that because people are dirty and inconsiderate. No bad reviews for the gym but it’s the MEMBERS that need to do better. Also members should be held accountable for not following something as simple like that since it actually impacts people and can get them sick.

Half of the ellipticals rock around and make weird noises when you use them. Other than that, there is a decent amount of equipment for someone who is just doing general fitness activities.

The mirrors everywhere are a bit annoying, but I guess that can be useful for watching your form or something while you lift weights. Would be nice if at least the different areas of the gym were partitioned off so that you aren't constantly accidentally staring at people. Would probably allow a lot of people to feel more comfortable working out.

I have a Black Card and go to PF in EVT, Marysville, and Lk Stevens. Lake Stevens is the cleanest and nicest of the 3. The young people who work there are super helpful and friendly. The person who hires at this location should be very proud of the team of employees assembled. Mitchell is the best of the bunch. He is always so personable and Really cares about making members feel like they are walking into a million dollar club! Well done!

I have a positive experience at this gym overall. It provides the amenities and services it advertises. While I do notice it can get busy at times, I haven’t observed any issues with people working out. The machines are in good condition, and the atmosphere is friendly. Additionally, the pricing is reasonable. I’m giving it a 5-star rating for now because I truly believe they are doing a great job and I hope they continue to maintain this standard.

I've been going to this gym with my son for about two months now, and the staff at the front desk has been nothing but rude and unprofessional. When we first registered, I provided my son's date of birth and age. Yet every time we walk in, we get harassed, to the point where this morning they confronted my 14-year-old son, asking for his age, date of birth, and even demanded his ID. It’s frustrating because they didn’t ask for any of this information the first time we were there, and they never asked for my ID either.

This morning, they approached me while using the thread mill and said, "We received a message that your son isn't the right age. We need proof or you need to leave." To be confronted like that, especially early in the morning, was completely uncalled for. I insisted they call the police, and I meant it. I finished my workout, and sure enough, the cops showed up at the front desk — clearly, they didn’t have more important things to do.

I thought about coming back the next morning with my son and making them look foolish by walking in again, but then I realized it would be better to set a positive example for my son. I'm 41 years old. So am I too young to have a 14-year-old, or does that mean a 14-year-old should look like they’re in their 20s? The staffs here are bunch of petty people. Imagine going to the gym to digress and meeting with these bunch of commotion

Went here with my 16 year old son a few weeks ago, he went to go throw something away in the locker room, glanced into the trash can and there was a noticeable volume of urine in there. Who the hell does that? Disgusting. Staff is great, the gym is otherwise clean and machines are well laid out. The crowdmeter is a nice feature. Not the fault of the staff as I’m sure it’s beyond illegal to put cameras in the locker rooms but seriously? Can people no longer be trusted to not urinate anywhere and everywhere? What has society come to? I informed a staff member and he just sighed in defeat before going to change the bin. Poor guy.

Love this new location. I always do the 30 minute circuit workout because it helps give me a structure to my workout. A lot of times people are back there not doing the circuit which blocks me from doing my workout even though the sign clearly says reserved for circuit workouts only. That’s not the club’s fault though.

Overall I like my experiences at PF. Marysville is my home gym, however I visit this location many times a month. I have found the water fountain "filter status" is in need of replacement every month and it generally goes for at least two weeks where the light is red before it gets fixed. Normally I just drink the bad filter water. Although I came in today and there is no water available at all. The only option is to overpay for bottled water or start bringing my own gallon jug which, as written on the "lunk alarm," is frowned upon at this gym. Get it together!

Nice clean facility, Yet improvements are needed with customer service. Visited today and had the unfortunate experience of interaction with a toxic, hostile person who presents as a female. She gives me the impression that she doesn't want to perform basic request such as starting the massage chairs. I was standing in line to make such a request and I was greeted with what can I do for you? You can get a better attitude! Management please train your person in the art of basic human interaction as it's obvious she has not been properly socialized.

This gym is Way to crowded and certain members can’t seem to figure out how to put on Deodorant or refuse to wear it smells so bad in there you have to walk to the other side of the gym, so many germs due to overcrowding issues finding a new gym can’t deal with it anymore

I really enjoy coming here for the most part. I've had a couple of unpleasant experiences with the same employee a couple of times. She is always on her phone and always acts like you're bothering her when you ask to use the tanning beds, buy a drink, etc. The rest of the employees are awesome. The tanning beds have been very dirty on occasion as well. Other than that, I enjoy this gym.

I moved my home gym from Marysville to Lake Stevens after they opened, I live in Lake Stevens.
I am disappointed in the Matrix equipment and treadmills that they elected to go with. They only have two lines of the Matrix exercise equipment so when one of the machines is out of order (one of the leg press has been down for about three weeks) you have to wait while someone else is on it. Before that it was the dip station, and they had many of the treadmills wouldn’t read your pulse.
I moved my membership back to Marysville.

Judgment free zone as promised. 😜 This location is nice, and I love the parks of the Black Card Membership. Spa is a much smaller than other locations I've been to, and massage area being compacted made it feel like much less intimate experience (which personally, I usually prefer.) Contrarily, great environment for those who enjoy the company.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Planet Fitness thanks to two amazing staff members, Jaimi and Rylin. I had accidentally left my phone behind, and they went above and beyond to help me retrieve it. Not only did they hold it at the front desk for me, but they also took the initiative to message people in my contacts to ensure I got notified about my missing phone. Their efforts were truly remarkable!

Jaimi and Rylin were incredibly sweet and funny throughout the entire process, making what could have been a stressful situation much more pleasant. Their positive energy and dedication to helping members really stood out. It's not often you come across such genuinely caring and proactive employees.

Worst staff ever! They will ruin your day.
I switched banks so I needed to pay in cash for the month of April. I did not save my receipt, my mistake. In the Month of May, I find out I am being charged a late fee because my April payment was not paid for. Another mistake I made, my first mistake was not saving a receipt, was telling the staff I was upset about this mistake. The staff lady became upset with me, she said that it was not her fault and she wanted me to know that. I said, I know I am just upset about this situation. She repeated her self, she told me it was not her mistake and she really needs me to understand that. I wanted to leave, be done with paying my late fee but this staff lady refused to let me leave. By refuse, I mean I told her I understand I am just upset and I would like to leave, can I leave? Are we done? Yes or no? She refused to answer me, she continued to repeat herself, “this was not our fault and I need you to understand.” Again, I say, okay are we done? She refused to answer me, she continued to repeat herself, “this was not our fault and I need you to understand.” Again, I say, okay are we done? Planet Fitness, Lake Stevens had what fit my needs when I needed to look for a new gym to join. They were friendly from the minute I walked in (when they first opened) to now, 2 months later.
I enjoy the 30 minute classes Runa teaches. She is enthusiastic, energetic (that may be from those energy drinks she has!) and always makes the exercise classes fun. I appreciate how she engages with all of us. The gym is clean and staff are always around. It is really a non judgmental environment to work out in.

I’ve had a great time at this gym since switching to this location. The gym, locker room, and showers stay clean, and the variety of workout equipment makes working out more enjoyable. I’m personally fond of the workout classes they have here. The trainer, Runa, is very funny and kind, which makes the workouts feel easier and fun! One will never feel excluded during their workouts. I live closer to this one and it's us all brand new and top of the line. I called about changing home gyms as mine has restricted hours. I was kindly offered a day pass and the young man was very kind, professional and made me feel welcomed immediately.

I love it! From the first time I arrived at Lake Stevens Planet Fitness, I felt welcomed and respected. The ladies guided me through the easy process of trying out the amenities and the online sign-up was super simple! The equipment is all top-notch and the black card amenities were great + it provided a good space to relax.

My favorite is the instructor-led classes - Runa! She always brings a smile to the workouts. She is also very patient with teaching us the proper form while still challenging us to maximize each exercise. I look forward to the classes each week!

Went in and checked out this Planet Fitness for the first time today. I am happy that it is open and only a quick 10 minutes from home!

Initially, the open concept is a bit overwhelming when walking in, but it is hard to tell if that is just me or not, lol!

Specifically, I am more used to other Planet Fitness establishments where there are several different spaces to tuck into and do your thing without being completely out in the open, but I think this will just take some time to get used to…again, probably a “me” issue!

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the female front desk staff, who helped show me around the black card lounge area and understand some of processes that were different here from other Planet Fitness’ that I have been to in the area. Specifically, I learned that you don’t sign up for the black card lounge amenities like at other gyms, and unless this is your home gym then you have to pay for things separately then the card you have on file! Good information to know!

The gym was clean and in really good condition. The equipment was all up-to-date and in good working condition. The locker room was also really clean and spacious. Lots of lockers for use, and there are showers available for use so that you can workout and be on your way!

Overall a good experience, and I look forward to getting more familiar with this new workout space!

I went in to this location to sign up myself and my fiance. There was no line. I asked if I could sign up for 2 black cards. The two young women at the front desk explained that "it would be easier for us if you just go home and enroll online". Seriously?

I'm sure it would. Imagine if a server explained "it would be easier on us if you just cooked at home". Or a mechanic said "it would be easier on us if you fixed your own car".

It was really weird because I was only guiding my parent to the club because there legally blind (just hard for her to see fully). They had her go to a iPad to sign up. She was having trouble, so I helped. Then she wanted to just look around club before signing up. They said yes but then was wondering about me. They wanted me to sign up to look around to but I didn't want to. I wasn't mad or anything but just quickly said I will just leave since I don't want to sign up or be there anyways lol.

I guess the other lady who wasn't even helping us turned her head towards me and said "have a nice day" but with a weird smirk like she was trying to show she doesn't care. I think she thought I was mad but I wasn't. I just have no interest in being in your system since I never plan to go to this gym other than to drop my mom off.

It was just a weird thing for the women to be that way but whatever; they are still new so maybe she is still new. Customer service has gone down everywhere though. You know what I mean. Sad this just opened and already bad like that.
