Really this is a great gym, but when I visited this morning at 6.20am, just after it had opened, there was no toilet paper at all in the ADA cubicle. The dispenser has room for two rolls. This means it had not been checked the day before, or, more unlikely, they had ran out of toilet paper. Even so they could have put up a sign. The regular stall had only one roll and not much left on it.

The showers here are nice because they have it set up where each stall has a space for you to change, rather than have to change then walk half naked to the shower.

Unfortunately the showers had evidence of having not been checked the night before, trash in two of the showers.

I'd give this place 5 stars but for the missing tp and trash, because it says a lot of this location's commitment.

Gym equipment area was clean and functional. Black spa area likewise, although I did notice the speed setting on the hydromassage bed has been locked at '1', perhaps to save on wear an tear.

I would definitely visit this location again, I just hope they get a cleaning/checking routine put in place.

I was at the gym for two hours, and in that time the TP/trash was not touched.

When you cancel membership it's a nightmare. Make sure you get a confirmation email with in 48 hours and way before your renew date or else they'll continue to charge you. Also make sure you cancel at the original gym you signed up at. And don't try calling in to cancel because that doesnt work.Trying to cancel at a different location won't work. Tried to do it here and even though they said it's cancelled it obviously wasn't because they continued to charge my bank account.

This particular Planet fitness is helping me meet my fitness goals. Irwin The Trainer is very motivating, and knowledgeable. He is always teaching me new workouts. I was working out for three months before seeing him. I have been seeing him for about one month now. He has helped me get more gains in one month than I could do withing three months. This photo was taken about 4 months ago when I was about 140lbs now I am 132lbs. within these 4 months I have gotten down to 130lbs. Everything has been perfectly fine here for me.. ive had a membership here 2 months and 3 times (that I know of) ive showed up at the time they are supposed to open and then proceeded to wait atleast one hour until someone showed up. One time I showed up 2 hours after opening and there was nobody here besides everyone waiting in their cars.
I'm not one to complain on Google reviews but it's a little annoying.. I personally pay for the black card so it's not a big deal to drive 10 mins to Milton branch but for the ones who don't pay for it I feel bad for.

I’ve been a member for 2 years and love it! Great value and equipment options for everyone. I appreciate that they have ~8 benches with free weights up to 75 lbs, a plate loaded hack squat and leg press, and lots of smith machines. Easy to access and the staff seem friendly. I don’t frequent too often as it’s a 30 minute drive and I have an at home gym. I like that I can bring my teen daughter with my black card and it makes it worth the membership. I will say I’m not overly impressed with the bathroom cleanliness. You can tell that they don’t thoroughly clean the toilets and showers on a daily basis as there is a lot of build up. Thankfully I work from home and don’t have to relay on using them like I did when I was at my 9-5. Beware of this if you are someone who showers before work.

I don't like businesses with shady practices.
They make it hard to cancel, I had to contact them three or four different times and come in a couple times basically giving you the run-around like it's legal to take your money when you want it canceled. Then when I finally get them to agree to cancel it several days before my payment is due they still make up an excuse that they're going to charge one more month. I do love this place, so I'll actually start with constructive criticism...

For some reason, the handicap shower is always "out of service" and/or they don't have hot water. I recently visited Tacoma, Milton, Federal Way, Auburn, etc.

Puyallup had all showers working with hot water.

They have a friendly staff, and the people working out are focused.

I travel a lot, so even if I can't work out (current shoulder injury), I still pop in to get a shower, massage and Red light therapy

On August 6, 2024, I had a black card membership, but my family members were denied access to the facility that day. My seventeen-year-old son wanted to work out but couldn't get in alone. I had to accompany him, but I had my eight-year-old with me before the incident. I took him to the waiting area and sat at a table while we went to the front desk to check my teen son in for his workout. However, the employee repeatedly told me that my eight-year-old could not be in the facility due to his age, despite my explaining that he would be with me, "would not be working out," or would be running around. At this point, I couldn't hold back my frustration, so I canceled my membership. I don't understand why family members cannot wait while others work out. If a husband is babysitting his baby and his wife is working out, it should be okay for the baby or minor to be in the facility.

I was there to accompany my son for his workout, and the employee kept telling me that my younger son couldn't be there. When I asked for the reason, she said he could hurt himself. I understood her concern, but I pointed out that the eight-year-old was not there to work out; he was with me while waiting for his brother to work out.

Finally, the employee realized that I wouldn't have my eight-year-old alone in the waiting area, and she said it was okay for me to stay with him while my older son worked out. I was already upset about being denied access. Right from the start, she had insisted that my son couldn't be in the facility. She should have asked me about the situation instead of making assumptions. I was sure this was a failed communication between the customer and the employee, but I was disappointed by how the employee handled the issue.

Note: In my experience, I noticed other kids waiting in the waiting area for their parents or sitting with other adults, which is why I brought my younger son with me that day. I thought sitting in the area while our family was working out was okay. I was babysitting, and I felt mistreated. I do not want to go back as a member again. Thank you for your BEST and WORST experience. I will go somewhere else that professionally treats their customers. My family likes Planet Fitness Gym because it is not too crowded and is not smelly, but after this incident, I will be happy to pay more and be treated with respect in another gym.

I was there at 5am this morning and left at 6:15am because no one showed up to open the gym. This has happened several times at this location and even the Pearl St. location in Tacoma. As far as I know it's almost 7am and it's still not open.

I had to drive from Frederickson just to sit there for an hour and then drive back home wasting time and gas. This also affected my schedule for the day, there's a reason I was there at 5am, it was the only time I could workout today.

I expect a call from management and for corporate to reach out as well. This is not acceptable. Again, I will cancel if this isn't resolved and I'm not compensated for this inconvenience.

Change the lighting back to low and Increase your hours like other Planet Fitnesses that are open at least by 12 noon for lunch time workouts..btw the Men working the front desk are super friendly and helpful as try to make sure to address all needs.

Large Gym, Veteran Front parking wifi works, only issue is tht the parking lot has weird, loud ppl come out at night fall time [believe this because of the $1 Tree & Loose Wheel Bar & Grill next door) other than tht PLEASE clean ur lockerrooms +bathrooms & yall will be [squared] away. & give ur Mili.Vet Sign some TL C..🧐 U know covid wasn't tht long ago.
