This gym is cool, but what makes me come to this specific one is the staff. Especially Madison. This employee went above and beyond to help me. And for something so simple like a lost headphone, which i could easily just replace. We never know exactly what someone is going through in life, the extra effort and time Madison took out to help me meant more to me than they'll ever know. Thanks Madison! Felt nice to have someone have my back.

The shower was lukewarm for about 3 mins then went cold ...I waiting 5 mins in there waiting for it to get hot thinking the water heater was far away....it didn't. Where most people give planet fitness a bad name, I've had a wonderful experience. I 35-year-old male was 295 pounds when I started going to the gym, just committing to doing 45 minutes a day. The staff is always super friendly. I have now officially weighed in this morning at 233 pounds. Losing sixty pounds In just ten and a half weeks. If I was to make one note, if they were to add a sauna room in here, it would increase the experience exponentially.

We have the Black card membership and I love all the extras. We have been able to use our membership while traveling. The massage beds are wonderful and we like being able to bring a friend for free. The staff are nice and i have never felt intimidated going here. Lots of options for equipment or free weights. Even when the parking lot is busy, it never feels crowded.

If you use planet fitness for tanning, this is not the place. I'd give zero stars. Not only are the buttons completely defaced, but if you were hoping to not get heat stroke, oh well. I had even told the girl it was my first time there and they didn't think to come show me which hole of a button was for what.The fan isn't an option, can't even see to turn it up, it's stuck on the lowest setting. When it does kick on, it smells like you're stuck in a fart chamber. Then you look up and see the vents are filled with dirt and dust. The floor is sticky. Not sure if this machine is ever cleaned. 10/10 would never recommend this location for tanning. This is a direct representation of the management, so take with that what you will. I'll gladly take myself back on over to Milton planet fitness.

I’ve been coming to this location for a few weeks now. The staff is top notch. They are friendly and the place is always clean. A lot of smith machines which is what I was looking for. My only complaint is that there aren’t really great areas for stretching on a mat. Just a few scattered spots. I’ve never seen anybody using the 30 min circuit training area. It seems like they could just put one there.

EDIT: It’s been 6 weeks now and I still stand by the staff being top notch! Special shout of to Madison who is always smiling and friendly at the desk.

I have been a member at Planet Fitness - at various locations - for a few years now. This is a great gym with an inviting and friendly staff. It is always clean and organized. I have been training with KANOA for a few months now, and he is an amazing personal trainer. He is very flexible with scheduling which I really appreciate. He is also very knowledgeable about weight lifting and allows you the freedom to go at your own pace while still making marked improvements. I like this Planet Fitness, but whoever maintains the grounds there needs to completely take out all the hedges on the side of the building with the bus stop. back in September after being homeless for a short time, I lost my leg and ended up in rehab facility. I am now living at a shelter, but the bathroom is too small for me to fit my wheelchair into and I don’t have the access to the shower as I can’t fit my chair into the bathroom properly enough to get into the shower.

I resorted to getting a Planet Fitness membership. As I came into the gym and I explained that I just needed my membership for their showers and just needed to know They were located the gentleman at the front desk only showed me where The locker room is also went out of his way to show me where the handicap shower is and how to use it He also showed me Where the massage chair and beds are even giving me some extra time on one of them.

I felt very welcome by the staff and felt like they went above and Beyond even opening the doors for me. This was my first visit at this location, and I am going to be continuing to come here Being treated so wonderful

Planet fitness all day everyday. I don't care what location. I live the fact that I have access to any gym nationwide with my black card membership. I got a membership at 24 hour fitness for 3 months and I was eaten up with regret. The price was ridiculous, showers/locker room filthy, equipments always out of order and the open setting didn't work for me. I immediately got back with PF after they dismissed all of my late fees. My work outs were much better here as an introvert and I cannot thank the leaders/coordinators for their set up in the gym. One side is the 30 minute express room the other is something else and the treadmills and stairwell equipment are looked after properly.

I exercise every morning and try to after work. So imagine me getting frustrated and leaving early at 24 hr Fitness because of my petty needs. 😂 I'm not there anymore. I'm with PF and it's my home gym. My heart (so emotional right) but yes. It just means I am so happy to be back with my favorite gym. Never again will I take them for granted.
I miss PF in Kennewick cause that's where I started and stayed consistent with my routine before moving back to Pierce county.

Not a bad gym considering the area it’s in. Only experienced one theft so far where some guy used bolt cutters in the men’s locker room early one morning to steal stuff(my stuff wasn’t stolen just saw the bolt cutters in a locker and turned them in). Also if you’re handicapped and need parking don’t bother. None of the staff try to prevent people with “cool cars” from parking in handicap parking spots. Your dodge chargers or mustangs ain’t that unique people grow up! If you’re in the area and can handle a little grunge this gym is fine.

My family and I have been working out here for 4 + years and I’m now editing my review from 5 stars to 1 star, purely based on the offensive selection of music (specifically the death metal). Today my 13 year old son and I were treated to a song by a band called “Rotting Christ”.

When I asked the red headed gal manager if they could not play a band that directly targets the Christian faith, I was told that it’s a pre-set playlist approved by Planet Fitness, so she can play it. A simple Google search shows that yes, this band is anti-Christian and their lyrics most certainly are proof.

From what I understood, Planet Fitness is a family friendly place, inclusive, etc, yet they choose to represent themselves by attacking the Christian faith? Everyone is entitled to their own faith and beliefs, but not at the expense of others. Real classy Planet Fitness, you should be ashamed and in fact should sound the lunk alarm on yourselves.

Jnlsss this stops, I will be cancelling our memberships and will be telling anybody and everybody, including our very large church who happens to have many members who work out at Planet Fitness.

I cancelled my membership on the 7th. In order to not get charged for this month’s dues, it had to be done by the 10th per their policy. This is the second time I have been charged or double charged by planet fitness. They unlawfully took this month’s dues even though we have a signed document of the cancellation of my account as of 4/7/24 and the last day I could use the gym of 4/16/24. I have called over ten times today throughout all different hours and no one answers the phone. Not surprising considering the kids just stand behind the desk and talk to each other the whole time. I’ve emailed their gym as well and no response either. This is not the first time I have cancelled with the gym over the last 6 years but it will be the final time I cancel. I recommend paying for LA Fitness, you may pay more but the service and quality overall is a hundred percent worth it and the gyms are kept clean.
Update- called numerous times throughout evening no response, called again numerous times this morning no response even to an email they provide. We will see where I get with the social email. Do not recommend at all. I thought Arizona was bad, this is ten fold at least that gym’s manager took care of the issues.
Update as of 5/2/24 - went in to the gym on the 19th (my only day off) and spoke to the employee at the desk. They said that their system still showed active even though I have the cancellation document. So I signed another cancellation form. Was told that I would get my money back within 7 days. Still have not received it. I will be going back in and if I do not get anywhere, I will contact an attorney and go the legal route at this point. If I could give zero stars I would.
Update 07/24 - Still zero refund and zero response from planet fitness. They once again ignored a signed cancellation with plenty of notice before the billing date period and still took additional money out of my bank account.

I was a PF member for a long time, (homeclub Eastside Tacoma) Due to work, my time was limited and couldn't make it to the gym. I chose to leave my account open but came to find out I was getting 3-4 charges a month. I called customer service and was advised to go to my homeclub and they would be able to help me there. Therefore I went to PF Tacoma Eastside and the gal in the the front desk Esperanza C was kind of disrespectful and basically said she couldn't do anything to help, that I had no choice. Her customer service was terrible, Esperanza C was the reason I chose to cancel my PF membership. Even though I had 4 transaction on my bank account from PF in the month of June 2024, Esperanza pretty much said it's to bad, and she couldn't do anything about it.

After paying for my membership I checked in and went to use the restroom in the middle of going to the bathroom the staff member on duty comes into the bathroom and tell me I need to come back up front and proceeds to stand there and wait for m as of I had done something wrong. Rushing me out of the restroom she tells me I can't use the facilities because I have a bill in collections of $258 because I didn't cancel my last membership back in Kent 4 years ago. I know I cancelled my membership but apparently they didn't put it into the system I guess. So now I have a paid membership that I can't use. She was extremely rude to me. She didn't even take the time to tell me how I can get this fixed.

This place is super chill. You can feel free to do as you please while exercising. Judgement free for real. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This location is the biggest I've seen. The only part that sucks is they're not open 24hours anymore. New hours are 5am to 9pm. You'd think the membership would not be as much as other locations which are 24hours. But there's none in Tacoma or Puyallup. And they have new prices. For a classic card it's now $15, not $10.
