Sub par equipment. Because they have crappy equipment they lock you into terms in a long contract with super small fine print. They will not tell you up front at the counter the terms of the agreement. When my wife tried to cancel they made us pay for another month even though we canceled before the renewal time. Then when we tried to cancel through the online portal it will not let us cancel.

I ran into financial difficulty and made a trip in person to cancel my membership since they don't let you cancel online. I was told i had to pay what i owed first to cancel. I said i'm just not able to pay right now and i need to cancel so it doesn't keep accruing. They refused to cancel and send me a bill and now every month it keeps growing in debt. What a terrible and manipulative way to do business that literally traps people into debt. 0 Stars!

The ceiling/wall TV positions set-up seems less easy to watch compared to other Planet Fitness locations; Some commonly popular types of gym equipment feature a small front display on each although most displays still have no TV signals yet. Honestly this used to be my favorite Planet in the Vancouver area but my experience here has been lacking a lot lately. Trashes often full, machines dusty and tattered or otherwise broken in some way, and sometimes the front desk people won’t even acknowledge me other than a blank stare. I’ve come here in early mornings and in the afternoon and the experience doesn’t seem to differ. I’m almost always one to leave positive reviews as well but the issues at this location seem to go unresolved. This used to be a nice gym to come to like 6+ months ago

Love this gym, it’s low-key enough where not a lot of people go so I can get the equipment I want anytime but also big enough where I like to work out any muscle group is there. They change the rules… no longer allow my support dog. And… will not refund this months payment…and…make me come in to cancel membership…and charge $60 cancellation fee when i came in …they allowed my dog when i joined… then i needed back surgery and paid monthly fees for months when i couldnt come…but when the doctor cleared me to exercize they said my dog could no longer come…ok to change the rules but to disallow me and charge me to stop payment on my credit card…disgusting…im almost 80 and dont want to waste time fighting this but it is costing close to $100… some people could not afford this…SHAME ON THEM…

On weekdays I go in at 0500 when they open, so pretty much have the run of the place. Plenty of space and new machines, air circulation is good and it's kept cool. Nice locker room and showers. For $10 monthly it's an unbeatable bargain.

If you want to have your membership revoked for defending yourself, welcome! I advise you speak to Rachel, the supposed regional manager haha. She’s wonderful in discriminating and making you, the person who got pushed, feel like the aggressor when you defend yourself. Even more so to my point: after the push I got and me pushing the lady back, the lady put me in a chokehold and I tried getting her off of me. Even then, I got my membership revoked because I defended myself. Congrats Rachel! I’m proud of you using your position to favor the white lady who did that to me. The best Planet Fitness location in the area. Mason does a great job taking care of the clients. Every time I walk in and see him, I know I'll be having another great workout. He got us signed up quickly and hassle free. I was doing my dumbbell chest press one day when I sprained by wrist. Luckily, Mason was there and he held an ice pack to my wrist as I finished the rest of my set. He was even kind enough to lend me the shoes on his feet as I didn't have the proper attire. Angel is also amazing, he was kind enough to demonstrate how to properly do jumping jacks. Everyone at this location is highly trained and well educated on the workouts. The gym itself has a friendly environment and is well maintained. I recommend this gym to anyone looking for a gym to go to!

I said” this is not a good first impression.” She replies “Are you talking to me?” Yes… and YOU need your take ownership and have backup plans to service your customers when things go haywire. Manager refused to sell me water because I politely declined to have my photo taken day in that moment. I am experiencing a medical skin condition and offered to have my photo taken at another time. David had a real attitude about me not wanting to take a photo. He explained he needed a photo to verify it’s me. I've been going to this location since it opened and it has always been clean and well maintained. As someone who's schedule and social anxiety make night workouts most convenient, it is frustrating to see that they have cut back hours from 24 hrs weekdays to closing at 10pm.

I can personally attest to 2 people I know having trouble fitting this revised schedule into theirs and I am considering cancelling my subscription because of it. I was told by an employee that the cutback of hours was also not due to understaffing.

Planet fitness' whole motto revolves around making the gym accessible to everyone, and this is a step back from their goal.

I observe a hospitable environment between clients and a positive morale. In recent weeks, there has been an uptick in maintenance needs (e.g., building leaks and treadmills needing repairs). Since this location is currently w/o a manager there on a daily basis I have seen the cleanliness of the building decline and some staff just not care. One night I was there, who I can only assume was an employee's girlfriend was sitting cross legged on the lower counter eating food. Another night, the first thing I see when I walked in was the employee sitting on the floor behind the desk reading a book. It's just unprofessional. The past two nights that I have used the tanning rooms, the floors look like they haven't been swept in a while. I hope they can get a manager soon, because this location is going down hill, fast.

This is my location and I've been a member since they started allowing pre-signups to join. I loved it at first but haven't been going as often lately because safety is getting out of hand. I understand not being able to do much about the people living in their vehicles in the parking lot but allowing these people to break in or attempt to break in to other people's lockers is insane. Yes they may have memberships and are there to use the showers, I love that they have thay resource but it doesn't mean they should be allowed to steal people's stuff. I've seen the same woman at least five times trying to pick locks in the locker room and when I've told the staff... they don't even care. I know lockers are use at your own risk but damn.
I've also noticed cleanliness went downhill fast. It used to be super clean but now when I've gone whether it's 2am or when the gym opens on the weekends, there's always bundles of hair on the floor in the women's locker room... why is it so dirty when the gym just opened?!

Today was my first time at this location and I was surprised at how small it was compared to other locations. The equipment was nice, but there were no explanations for using the built in TV. This was fine because I prefer music, but I couldn’t get it to turn on to even try it. The employees were friendly for the most part. The shower didn’t get warm? It was just under lukewarm. Taking a cold shower after a workout might be great for some, but I turned up the dial all the way and it never got warm. I finished up and got out, tried the next shower over just to see if it got warm. It was a bit warmer than the one I used, but still not what I would call a good hot shower. Not sure if that was a one off thing or not, but it was a turn off for me personally for this location. My last thing is that when I walked in I told the employee it was my first time there and I feel like she kind of brushed me off. I heard that this location has massage chairs and other amenities, but didn’t try them this time. Overall, biggest turn off was the cold shower

Really great large, facility.
But! It is not getting cleaned as well as it should.
Dust is starting to pile up along the baseboards, floors, and equipment. It's clear the floors throughout are not mopped well.
It's the little things that let you know whether or not management makes cleanliness a priority.

The gym is fine, but once you sign up, you’re forcibly a member for life. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership going on 11 months the now. I did everything they ask. They say go in, I go in. They say call, I call. They say write a letter, I wrote a letter. Each time they say that method doesn’t work, while continuing to charge me every month plus another 40 something they always claim is the annual rate. Tf am I paying monthly and annual for? I eventually had to close out that bank account. You get blinded by the “cheap” rates, but they scam the life outta you. Do yourself a favor and NEVER sign up for planet, unless you plan to go until you die.

The location and the machines are amazing! The manager is also really nice and helpful! The employees on the other hand, not so much. Not friendly at all in the gym or on the phone. I called to make sure a payment went through because I got an email saying the payment declined for some reason. She seemed to want to dodge her having to do any work and sounded sassy when I asked her to actually look into my account and do her job to see if my payment processed. It’s not hard and took her 5 seconds when she actually did it.

1st my complaint - No hooks in or outside showers for towel, etc. Dressing rooms - no hooks, no seat. Do I put my clothes/ towel on the floor? or flop it over the wall so it is hanging half in the next shower or dressing room?? Impossible to keep your towel dry!! I was really surprised. Best Planet Fitness ever! I become a member in NYC in Brooklyn. And immediately get regret - it was always packed over the capacity. Even difficult to get empty locker! Then I found one in Manhattan, that was better.

This location is much smaller than the other Planet Fitness locations in the area. They offer a ton of amenities for the black card that I never knew were an option! Hybrid light technology offers stand up tanning. Red light therapy by the Vibra shape machine! They have a relaxation pod which is amazing! I was shown all of the black card options by one of the nice gals that worked there! Again this location is much smaller than the others so it does get very busy quickly!

Glad the gym is finally open 24 hours on the days it supposed to be. REALLY wish they would stay open later on the weekends since not everyone can make it by the very early close time of 7pm. Aside from the improved hours, the women's locker room was in severe need of cleaning on Sunday 1/8/23!! Staff hanging out at front desk, yet no toilet paper in stall I went into and even blood on floor!!! I go most days end of week and noticed floor has same stains everyday, indicating no moping is taking place. NOT a good start to their grand opening, which was merely a few weeks ago. Probably better to find a gym where people actually show up to work. I know there’s a little ice out there, but you can’t tell me that one person can’t make it to work for a few hours so the patrons who pay to play can get their workout in during the holiday stress. If stores like Big Lots, Safeway, hell even podunk mini marts can operate during inclimate weather, so can the big corporate gym machine.
