Cally and the students here bring me endless joy, laughter, and community, all while improving as dancers. If you’re looking for a dance studio, look no further. I’ve improved my skills immensely and Cally continues to challenge and believe in us all, as dancers and as people. 10/10, no notes.

I have been going to Pole at Play since September 2020. I started pole because I wanted get fit/exercise and feel good about myself. The way Cally teaches will allow you to grow at your own speed and always feel like you're getting something out of it. She is a very skilled and fun/funny teacher. I can let my guard down in class, be girly/sexy/feminine and feel safe from the "male gaze" all the while learning a challenging form of art. The new space is amazing and I can't wait to perform in it!

Love this place. The owner Cally has just this ability to make you and the entire space feel safe, fun, hilarious, and a great place to better yourself through fitness. I literally praised Pole At Play as well as Cally regularly when I moved away from the area for a few years because her classes had that much of a positive impact on me.

I personally find her hilarious and you know what they say, laughter is the best medicine! Plus she knows how to move dat body & show us students how to…mmhmm period!!! Oh and she has some of the best taste in music, I especially love the hip hop/rap she plays.💓 makes me feel like a baddie like her.
Thank you for being You. 💓🙏🏻

I’ve been coming here for over a year now and I absolutely love everything about this studio. Pole at Play is truly a heaven sent. The instructors are very patient and willing to go above and beyond for their students. Everyone here is so nice and understanding. The environment is welcoming and quite frankly addicting. It keeps you coming back for more! These classes have truly changed my life and I’m more confident than I have ever been. 💜

Pole at Play is one of the best communities I’ve ever been part of. I cannot express how much I respect and admire my instructors and fellow students and feel respected and supported by them in return. I learn something new from everyone every time we’re together. The atmosphere is fun, silly, sexy, accepting, understanding, and up lifting. And it’s that way because everyone makes a conscious effort to cultivate that environment — thank you everyone!!!!

I have been taking classes at Pole at Play for 1.5 years. I have loved every minute of it. Pole at Play is the perfect name because we professional womxn with lots of responsibilities end up playing, something that is so desperately missing in our adult lives. It’s uninhibited and freeing. It’s a pride point now because I’ve accomplished so many things I didn’t think I was capable of at first.

It does take a leap to get started…you’re trying something new around new people while confronting unhealthy societal norms about womxn, but the instructors are supportive, positive, and protective and you end up in a caring community. I have made several good friends just by taking classes. I should start charging a fee for how much I advertise this lovely studio. 😉 Give it a try!

I've been taking classes here for more than a year and can't recommend it highly enough! Cally does an amazing job of creating a welcoming environment and helping students gain strength and confidence. This is by far the most supportive, body positive, and inclusive space I have encountered, and I am so glad it exists in our community!

I am new to pole and am so grateful to be part of this community of badass and supportive women. I was really nervous to try pole as I have been struggling with my body image and confidence and wasnt sure if I could even do this type of dance due to my medical history. Cally has created a space where all women feel included, supported and safe. She is open-minded and caring and takes her time to help students who are struggling to find alternative ways to meet their goals. I am gaining strength so quickly and having fun while doing it! I highly recommend taking classes here and becoming part of this community it is so worth it!

I have only been going for a few months, but everyone has been so incredibly helpful and supportive. Everyone is so kind. I have learned so much in such a short period of time. I feel like I have gotten so much stronger and gotten so much more confident. The instructor is really great, focused on safety for the students and safe practices. It’s also just so fun, that I don’t even look at my watch during class!

I attended pole at play for a year or so before they moved into the new building and for a few months after the move. My life has just gotten too busy to continue attendance at the moment. But the new space is amazing and dreamy. The whole community here is wonderful and supportive. The instructor does a wonderful job making classes fun, safe, and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

I have been going to this studio for almost 10 years (back when it was at a different location, though the same owner and instructors). The pole instructor, Cally, is so supportive and full of love. She is great with students who have zero dance experience, which is how I came to my first ever class all those years ago. I have gained so much strength both physically and emotionally. I can't recommend enough!

WOW I have been coming to Pole at Play for almost 5 years!! And I don’t plan on stopping. This studio is so much more than a place to learn sexy, fun and exotic pole dancing. It’s also a community, an event space, a place to grow as a human being, a place to make friends, a place to feel safe and accepted, and a place to call a second home. Cally creates a positive, loving and silly environment that reminds us all that we are beautiful exactly the way we are. We never feel pressured to look or be a certain way. We are all equal and supported in pure joy. When life gets hard, I come here and I am rejuvenated in multiple ways: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually! Oh, and I learn how to shake my butt and look hot too ;) 💕

What a beautiful dance community! I was absolutely brand new to pole dancing and felt such a welcoming, body-positive environment. The owner/instructor Cally will support you in finding what draws you to dance and building that out in your own ways. Very inclusive, supportive space that I would recommend to anyone wanting to try something different, feel a little $exy, and get strong!

I joined Pole at Play earlier this year, and it's everything I could have wanted in this type of environment, and more! It's a very positive and empowering space, and it's been amazing to learn from not only the instructors, but the other students as well! I've moved away from Olympia but I always come back every few weeks or so to attend classes when my schedule permits. I recommend Pole at Play to people when I can!

I've been in classes with Cally for a couple months now, and can't say enough about how great she is as a teacher. She's fantastic at cutting through the initial awkwardness and just creating a fun and safe environment. This has been an amazing way for me let some steam off, be active, and feel sexy. I love it!

I've been going here for 5 years. Cally is an incredible teacher. She's encouraging kind and really fun to be around. You'd be surprised how quickly you learn. It's something that I find really empowering and it's a great workout. This has really grown my upper body strength in a way that no other type of fitness class has. I would encourage anybody to go!

I wanted to take pole classes when I first heard about them roughly 7 years ago, but I was too nervous... Until finding Pole at Play! Reading all the wonderful Facebook reviews made signing up less intimidating. I started taking classes here two months ago (starting at the old studio on State Ave NE in Olympia then transitioning to the new studio on Legion Way SW) and it's been such an incredible experience. The classes have helped me develop strength and flexibility, and it's such a fun and sexy workout! I'm sore for 1-2 days after every class. I've gained confidence in my everyday life from these pole classes and I'm so incredibly happy that I've found a space with so much support. Plus, I have never had so much fun working out!

The instructor, Cally, is welcoming, kind, funny, energetic, and so much fun! She's a wonderful teacher who fosters the most comfortable and supportive environment. She brightens up the room during every class!

There are people from all walks of life and at every experience level in the classes. Plus, there are beginner, regular and advanced classes to choose from along with class themes (such as strength & flexibility, spinner pole, spin combos, routines, inverts, climbing, floorwork, etc.) . Classes book up fast! Everyone I've met in class has been welcoming and non-judgmental. It's a very positive environment full of good vibes! Plus, the new studio space is absolutely beautiful. I love going to Pole at Play and I highly recommend it.

Cally teaches a fun, irreverent class where my pole skills grew really fast. The community is genuinely welcoming and it's easy to make friends. I've met some seriously amazing dancers here. I am consistently impressed with how positive this environment is - I feel like my awkward beginner self and my unabashedly skilled sexual dynamo self are equally welcome here. Can't say enough good things about Cally and Pole at Play.
