I've been taking classes regularly from Hali for a while now and she is absolutely amazing!! I've had always wanted to try pilates but would talk myself out of it because of dumb insecurities. Prior to my first class with Hali, the pandemic really got the best of me and it had been over a year since I had worked out, I very reluctantly scheduled my first session and I felt so good after! Hali is so kind and intentional with her words and makes a point to promote body positivity in her practice, she prioritizes health over fitness trends. I especially like that she doesn't encourage my negative self-talk but instead, shifts the conversation to alignment and strength. I never knew pilates could be so fun and not nearly as intimidating as it seems. Hali does a great job thoroughly explaining the movement and which muscle groups should be putting in work, she gently helps to shift alignment to get the best results while reducing tension and pain. It's been a major confidence boost to see my strength and flexibility increase so drastically. Book your sessions immediately, you won't regret it!!

I was always interested in trying Pilates but was also intimidated to get started. Hali immediately made me feel comfortable, confident and excited for more. I’ve now been going twice a week for over a year.

She is a great teacher and has a passion for this movement. She also understands on a personal level when you have to make adjustments and how pain or injury can affect your day to day and she takes that into account. She is prepared to help you through any sort or acute or chronic issue.

She is helpful, kind and overall and wonderful person to work with. 10/10 would recommend.

About two years ago began experiencing some chronic pain symptoms which left me totally disoriented. I spoke with doctor after doctor who continued to leave me feeling more confused and scared. At the same time I began working with Hali. I spoke with her at length about what I was experiencing. Through our work together we discovered that the issues I was having were posas pain (Hali mentioned likely due to sitting for work).
She gave me some tips and tricks to manage it, and she also tailored our sessions routine towards alleviating my pain.

My symptoms shifted almost immediately and I have since been able to manage my ongoing pain symptoms due to the care and thoughtfulness Hali has provided me. Two years later I am still using the exercises Hali taught me.

I can’t imagine what my journey would have looked like without her helping me navigate this.

Hali is the queen of intentional movement. Has always shown up in a way that makes me feel comfortable and excited to get on the reformer. She truly cares and moves at your pace. Really can’t recommend enough esp if you are looking for a 1-1 that’s totally tailored to your body.
