Tim very much impressed me with how he's able to run a very overpriced basketball league while being a rude and disrespectful organizer at the same time. He constantly changes the price of the games, and doesn't have any transaction history for your player account on their website; so you're always confused how much you paid or get refunded for games. Heβll also make random travel or double dribble calls that completely ruins the experience as a player. And this is in a recreational game. Highly suggest you use your money elsewhere.

Good facility but parking is a nightmare with stadiums nearby and private lots are quick to hand out tickets for just a few minutes of time violation

Really good place to play some basketball. Solid sized court. Leagues run year round and have solid competition. I come here on Thursdays and have a good time. The league is run pretty well. Overall, come here for some good basketball.

This place offers a near perfect venue for organized pickup basketball (called "Hoops on Demand"), with signups, scoreboards, and lots of game time options -- from early morning to lunchtimes to weekends and more. PSBL also offers official league ball with teams and referees, but my schedule aligns better with Hoops on Demand.
The online signup system works well, and the time per game (60 min., with a max of two subs that rotate) is perfect. The competition level is good (think high school level or intramural ball), with options for more rec/co-ed style if desired. The gym is easy to find and parking is free. The only downside is the cost, but this is what it likely takes to run this venue.
There's good sportsmanship during the games (in part because there's no risk of losing and then sitting out multiple games). Vaccinated people don't need to wear masks, which is nice. The physical quality of the gym (floor, lighting, ventilation, etc.) is decent, though not top notch. There are bathrooms (but no showers). The organizer is super nice and knows how to run things. I highly recommend this place.
As a tip, early morning slots (6:30 weekdays, 7:45 weekends) fill up the fastest. Lunchtime slots are much less popular. Make sure you bring your own ball. Games actually begin at the indicated hour, so plan to arrive 10+ min earlier.

Been playing here for a few weeks now. Hoops On Demand (competitive men) is great way to get the morning started. Good runs every session I've attended. Games tend to run on schedule. Everyone cooperates pretty good to. Price per game isnt the best (welcome to the city life for me).

Best city league in Seattle. Professional league, quality referees. All levels of competition. A lot of ex college players if you really want good competition.

Hoops on demand is a perfect weekend pickup game situation for me. You pay between $5 and $7 depending on time and location, and you get an hour or more of organized hoops, capped at 14 people max. You basically have a running clock 5-on-5 with no more than 2 subs each and they keep score. No ref, and I honestly prefer that. It's great and pretty much everyone that attends is a good sport.

Excellent. Best League Around, Hands Down. Very well organized, they respond to emails quickly and will put you in times and locations that are good for you, as well as they possible can. Pleasure as a business and good quality of hoops. Of course, everybody has a problem with a ref or there are incidents that occur but goes with the territory. I played for 8 years, and would highly recommend it!
