Pushbox is great, I don't even know where to start. The owners Trysh and Aiden put their heart and soul in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all the members, whether you're new to CrossFit or a competitive athlete. They organize special events whether it be happy hours or field day workouts, which is really perfect for people who have recently moved to the area and looking for group of good people.

The programming cycles and changes often, yet builds on each other so you can monitor your growth. Coaches give good instructions on movements and workouts, are attentive, supportive and patient. The facility is smaller, but very functional and very clean. There is even a free parking lot. After a long day at work, I always look forward to coming to workout here.

After taking a break from CrossFit through most of the pandemic, I decided to return by joining PushBox. A lot of what I loved about CrossFit the first time I’ve found here. First and foremost is the community. Everyone I’ve met through the various classes is encouraging, helpful, and friendly. Many also do things outside of the box together and bring new people in easily.

The coaches are amazing. They know what they are talking about and help you get better. If you are newer to Crossfit, they take the time to teach you the fundamentals. If you are working through injuries, mobility issues, etc, they will find ways to modify workouts so you can still participate.

The level of fitness amongst the gym is very impressive. From people in their 20s to people over 50, there are many that are great athletes and their performance only pushes others to perform better. That being said, Pushbox makes room for everyone, whether you are a competitor or just looking for a place to get fit. You will not regret joining.

Not only are Aidan and Trysh superb people, but they truly care about every memeber. The community they have developed and nourished at Pushbox is admirable. The environment encourages all around strength and health: physical, emotional and social. I absolutely love the fun and engaging vibes at Push Box! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed like part of the community. Coach Adam is incredibly professional and pays great attention to detail, making sure everyone has proper form and movement throughout the class— which I really appreciate. 🙏

The gym itself is super organized, with top-notch equipment that’s clean and well-maintained. You can tell they take pride in their space. They also seem to host lots of community events, (on the board) which is so valuable for new comers.

PUSH is the best gym in the city hands down! I've always been interested in Crossfit style/weight lifting workouts but never knew where to start, until I found PUSH. I was looking for somewhere to learn proper weightlifting technique, and build strength while keeping workouts fresh and challenging (I get bored at the gym by myself). I spent a lot of time researching on Google and Reddit reading reviews, and PUSH stood out for all the right reasons.

I started with the 3-pack of private intro sessions (shoutout Caroline!) to learn the fundamentals, and then joined group classes. Aidan and Trysh have put together a top-notch coaching staff. Every coach is knowledgeable, encouraging, and constantly offering tips to help you improve. As a beginner they give you scaling options, but also when you're ready push you to go big.

The workouts are tough, fun, and always varied, which keeps things exciting. The community vibe is also great—supportive, motivating, and welcoming.

If you're thinking about trying CrossFit or just looking for a new gym, swing by and try a class - you won't regret it!

I joined PUSH over a year ago after moving to Seattle a few years ago and wish I had joined sooner. The gym I started Crossfit at set a high bar for me in terms of programming and community and after trying several gyms in the Seattle area, this has easily been my favorite. The coaches give excellent individualized attention even in large classes and bring really great attitudes and energy to the gym every day. The programming is also excellent. Every workout has detailed notes on the intention of the workout and ties in to multi-week cycles with longer term goals in mind. I've finally been able to stick skills that I've struggled with for a while and I'm the strongest I've ever been. Additionally, everyone at the gym is really friendly and the community does a lot of fun events all the time and there's something for everyone. I highly recommend this gym for drop ins and people who live in Seattle.

I switched gyms 2 years ago to find a spot with open gym slots that work with my schedule and Push does not disappoint. The owners are really nice and accommodating, and they've been the best owners/coaches I've come across after sampling multiple gyms. If you're looking for a gym that doesn't just help you check the "I worked out today" box, this is it. The workouts at PUSH Box are incredibly balanced and effective - they're designed to gradually build you up to those fully dynamic, powerful functional movements (without breaking you in the process). The coaches are attentive and incredibly knowledgeable and sharp with the cues.

What makes this place stand out is how Aidan and Trysh (the owners) invest in building a real community. This isn't just a "nod at the regulars" kind of place. It's where people actually know your name and notice when you're not there - in a good way, not in a creepy way!

I appreciate how it works for all sorts of goals. I joined to make sure I can pick up my kids without breaking my back and to not get outdriven by folks 10 years older than me in golf tournaments, and I'm seeing exactly the improvements I hoped for. And if you're a competitive Cross-training athlete looking for your training home? You'll certainly find your people here.

When I moved in to Seattle I had to shop around to find a good Crossfit gym, it was rough! But after a while I found PUSH. Great place! Definitely the best in Seattle. All coaches are great at providing (safe) instructions. The warm-ups are amazing and I never feel like I'll injury myself while also having very challenging workouts. Regardless if you are new to crossfit or a tenured athlete with years of experience PUSH is a great place to train. (Bonus point) The you don't feel the Seattle freeze in this community.

My wife and I joined PUSH Box CrossFit in June 2024 after having tried a couple other gyms nearby. One trial class and we knew PUSH was the place to be! Our first impressions were that there was real deliberation on mechanics from the warm-ups to the skill work; the atmosphere was competitive yet welcoming and accommodating; and events/hangouts were regularly organized to supplement members’ social calendars.

Fast forward almost a year and we can say undoubtedly PUSH has been extremely positive overall. The explanations and rationale for each cycle (of workouts) has allowed us to focus on improving various modalities—to the effect that we have gotten to see constant improvements in new areas. We also hang out regularly with several friends we have met at PUSH on top of seeing them at workouts. In sum, Aidan and Trysh—the owners—along with its great coaches have made PUSH somewhere I would recommend 365/24/7.

I have been part of a few CrossFit gyms in the Seattle area and PUSH is by far the best gym I have ever been apart of! The attention to detail, quality of instruction, and general standard that members are held to simply does not compare to other gyms that I have seen (I'm an experienced athlete).

I love everything about this gym: the coaches / owners, the people, the programming, the location, the schedule, the way the gym is organized, the community events... I could go on. A lot of people are attracted to CrossFit because of the overall badass-ery of it, but I come for a different reason: after carrying and giving birth to two children and suffering from diastasis recti (ab separation), piriformis syndrome, and pelvic floor weakness, after a certain point, my physical therapist was like "... you just need to start exercising and strength training and you're going to get better." I had done CrossFit over ten years ago (shoutout to CrossFit Woburn) and loved it, but was hesitant to get back into it because I felt so weak and out of shape. I signed up for the free class thinking I would just try it out again, and lo and behold, very first class, Aidan helped me get my first double under ever. He explained the cues to me in a way that just unlocked a physical understanding of what I had to do: "Do you have kids? Okay. Have you ever shaken a rattle? Okay, imagine you're getting frustrated with your kid and you're shaking a rattle in his face." Who thinks of cues like that?! So I signed up! Aidan is very good at teaching and cues and I feel like I have improved in skill and form. And biggest win of all, I have physically felt my diastasis recti and piriformis syndrome improve (in other words, my core and glutes are getting stronger)!

Rejoining CrossFit after a 2 year break and joining this box was one of the best decisions of this year. I've been CrossFitting since 2015, and this is my 3rd box I have been a part of. The programming is SUPURB, the community is welcoming, and the coach is knowledgeable and fun. He genuinely cares equally about building community, good movement and advancing fitness.

This box is very welcoming to the newer athlete, but has everything you need for intermediate-to-advanced athletes. You will never feel pressure to do movement you're not comfortable with (and modifications are always provided) or push beyond what you're comfortable. That being said, if you want to go hard, know that you'll have one of the coach/owners there to cheer you on.

I'll conclude by expanding on the programming, as I feel that really sets this gym apart. While everything I mentioned would be enough to give this gym a 5-star rating, the programming I feel is best in class. Programming is incredibly challenging to make work across fitness levels, for it to both be accessible yet challenging for all who come through the door. That's the challenge on a per-workout basis. What makes this programming superb is that week-to-week and month-to-month there is flow and is built with clear goals in mind. It's not just about a "good workout" it's about building blocks, so that you're developing skills, and improving all aspects of fitness.

Put simply, I look forward to working out here. I know I'm going to get healthier, stronger, and more fit. Thanks for the warm welcome and the awesome workouts.

The folks at pushbox are as welcoming and inclusive as they come! Great staff with depth of coaching experience and credibility in terms of their athleticism. I trust the programming which is a big differentiator for me.
