Liz Dilley uses Pilates and the Melt Method to help her clients find more ease in movement and less pain in life.
What is Pilates? Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise often using resistance which aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment, flexibility and the mind body connection.
What is The MELT Method? Melt is a gentle self care technique that enhance mobility, stability and performance and is clinically proven to reduce chronic pain while restoring overall wellbeing.

We live with repetitive physical patterns - from sitting at a desk for eight hours a day or training for a triathlon.

I first met Liz Dilley at a MELT class hosted by our YMCA. As a 72 year old women with many arthritic joints and multiple aches, pains and impingements that seemed to be an inevitable part of aging, her class was truly an eye opening experience for me. Never did I imagine that I could see such dramatic improvements to the functionality of my body so quickly or from such simple techniques. From that very first session with Liz, I noticed improvement.
As an instructor, Liz is thorough and consistent. She brings a warm respectful connection to her students, deep knowledge of the topic, and a strong personal conviction for the power of the MELT process.

Liz introduced me to MELT Method in 2019. A consistent MELT practice has eased pain and stiffness in my knees, hips and lower back. Liz conducts sessions with clarity, warmth and humor. She is greatly skilled at noticing where I need to make adjustments to exercise more efficiently. Since working with Liz, I've become more cognizant of where I'm holding tension in my body. Liz is the one you want as your Pilates teacher. She comes from years of experience teaching in New York City and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to modifying workouts to my unique needs. I feel 100% confident I can share where I'm at on any given day and that it will be met with both expertise and empathy. She knows how to give a great workout, push you how you need it most, and also calm things down as warranted. As a professional dancer, Pilates helps me work out my asymmetries and strengthen all the missing links. Liz also offers Melt classes - I haven't had a chance to do a full session but it's definitely on my bucket list!

Radiant Pilates is the real thing!
Liz has such a detailed understanding of muscles and fascia, and such skill with the techniques she teaches, sessions with her feel like some kind of wizardry.
I came to Liz with chronic pain, and I rarely struggle with that anymore! I’m gradually retraining my body —and experiencing changes in my mind as well. For me, it’s a night-and-day difference between these sessions and the group classes I’d tried previously.
She meets me where I am, and is creative about meeting our goals. Every session is an education.
I learn a little more about how to strengthen efficiently while releasing stuck stress, to find more ease and pain-free functioning. It can be finely detailed work, and her keen eye, warm-hearted attention and sense of humor make our work together a pleasure.
