I enrolled my child in tumbling here to work on her skills. The class had 3 kids max each time we went. So you would think that the kids would be given more attention and help. But that wasn’t the case. She was told to stretch then given very loose instruction on skills she didn’t know yet, then she was left on her own most every single class. One coach was great and helpful, the rest were incredibly dismissive of the kids in the class. My daughter left in tears almost every class she attended. If you’re not on a team then they just don’t care that you’re there at all. I highly recommend going anywhere else.

I recommend not going here. There are other places much more professional that can teach your child. Don’t waste your money.

Poor communication, very disorganized, and overall unprofessional. Several classes cancelled without notice and no communication after driving 30+ minutes to practice. Unless you’re on “team” then you are left in the dark with communication. The place is also dirty. The bathrooms and waiting area are filthy and it doesn’t look like they ever vacuum the gym floor..So glad I moved my child to a new facility.

My family (2 kids) moved to Recon from another gym. My kids were bullied and lost self esteem at the other gym to the point where my son had started to hate cheer and feel bad about himself my daughter always came out of practice mad at herself and not feeling good enough. But even after a few practices at Recon we can see and feel the difference in the environment, coaches and teams. Everyone at Recon is extremely supportive and the athletes are amazing at building each other up. The love and happiness that radiates from this gym is intoxicating. You are treated like family. They are amazing at balancing working hard a growing with having fun and bonding. My kids confidence and love for the sport is visibly growing. I wish we had started with Recon 4 years ago when we entered the cheer world But I am glad we are here now and can't wait to grow with the team. Thank you Recon. For everything you are doing.

This gym has been a great confidence booster for my daughter. She wasn't into sports or being competitive, until she started at Recon! The gym has taught her all hard things are worth working hard for. Accomplishments feel good, no matter how big or small.

This is my daughter's 4th year at the gym. We started with tumbling and cheer fundamentals, moved up to prep, and this year started on an elite team. My daughter loves it here and is starting to come out of her shell. We tried all the gyms over here when we moved from the westside and this one feels like home. Coaches/owner care about each athlete and not just "winning."

This will be our second year with Recon and my daughters second year in cheer. She had no cheer skills when we started at Recon. She and our family fell in love with Coach Jess’s vision on how to be an all around great athlete, on and off the mat. We are so thankful that we found this place in a time where our daughter needed to build her self confidence, help her anxiety and have mentors and coaches that believe in her athleticism. This gym is like a family, a family that all supports each other and their families and help our amazing athletes reach their goals for cheer and outside of cheer! Very unorganized! The owner Jessica still owes us items from a fundraiser our family paid for. Not to mention merchandise we bought for our daughter. I even offered to pay for shipping so she can ship them to me and she blocked me from communicating with her. The lack of communication with the owner throughout the season was so bad the coaches and team moms never knew what was going on.

Recon is a home away from home for my family. The experiences, skills, memories and family made at this gym could never be measured. Both of my daughters have thrived at this gym and with the incredible staff.
