Before joining Sasquatch Strength, It had been decades since I had last set foot in a gym. I was a little apprehensive about showing up to a class basically as a newbie, but as it turns out, I had nothing to worry about.

Everything about the classes accommodates everyone from complete newbies to experienced regulars and people of every fitness level, completely non-judgmentally. Every coach I've worked with has been patient, kind, motivational, and more than happy to answer questions. The other class members have also been friendly and helpful. The staff is great -- everybody knows your name and gets to know you personally. Shout out to Cheryl, Jonathan, Reilly, Naomi, and Tyler!

All the exercises are explained thoroughly and modifications are provided for anyone who isn't able to do the full-fledged movement. The exercises have an incredible amount of variety, from the usual bike/row/ski machines, to bodyweight exercises (pushups, planks, etc.), to free weights (bench press, squats, deadlifts, etc.), kettlebells, medicine balls, and even Olympic weightlifting (snatch, clean). You'll never get bored of doing the same thing week in and week out, and you get a good mix of strength training and cardio.

Sasquatch Strength has been exactly what I needed. The coaches keep me motivated, the classes are enjoyable, and I can feel the progress day by day! 💪

Sasquatch is a great program! I really love how every class is different and the coaches do a really good job pushing me and helping me get results. Evan and Cheryl greet me everyday I come and it’s makes me feel so welcome and like I have a gym family. Naomi and Iyrna do an awesome job coaching and overall I feel like I found a gym that feels like home. I’ll definitely be staying for a long time, thanks Sasquatch!

Sasquatch Strength has provided me with the structure and support that I needed to start to get my weight down and strengthen my leg and core muscles. Aging is no fun, and with Type II diabetes lurking just around the corner, this July I signed up for the 12 week Challenge in their Kirkland gym. At the end of three months, I have lost 23 pounds in weight, with 30-odd pounds to go. My family tells me that Sasquatch is more expensive than some other gyms, but I am pleased with the results. So far, it has cost me less per pound of fat lost than semaglutide would, and I am fitter, stronger, and feel healthier for it.

I don’t think I would have survived for as long at most other gyms. I had been fairly intimidated by what I saw at other gyms, mostly populated by young and already obviously physically fit people. Sasquatch classes have a good mix of people attending, cutting across different ages, body shapes, and levels of skill and strength. I discovered quickly that I wasn’t the oldest person present, and I feel comfortable there. The coaches and the other gym members have created an ambiance that is encouraging and supportive. The coaches also do an excellent job in adapting the different skill and strength levels of members by proposing adjustments to routines. Importantly for me, they have been inventive in providing workarounds for physical limitations (knee osteoarthritis, poor balance, and a half-century-old sports injury that reasserted itself). These accommodations have allowed me to focus on the mechanics to the point that I can now perform many of the exercises in question with some success. I enjoyed the mix of weightlifting and cardio, and ended up going to class 6 days a week. The sessions were exhausting, but they set my pace for the day.

The nutritionist support in the program was essential to getting the weight down. I have been skeptical of nutrition plans in the past because the ones that I have looked at in the past involved eating specifically designed meals that looked terminally boring. At Sasquatch, I was given a calorie target and a protein target in grams; it was up to me to decide how to organize my food consumption. This worked. After a couple of weeks, and with the help of the nutritionist team, I was able to manage my diet so that I could sustain workouts and recovery, and at the end of the day eat a fairly conventional meal (not centered on carbs) and still meet my targets. Thank you Issac and Jonathan!

Changes are measured in increments. I can jump again, not very high perhaps, but it’s something I could not do 6 months ago. I can hold a lateral plank without my knees collapsing. The improvements in everyday life are meaningful. Walking is easier and faster, and I am experiencing less referred pain from arthritis in my lower legs. I can extricate myself from the Mini without having to lever myself out with my elbows. Getting up off the floor or ground is much easier. The other day, I caught myself running to catch a pedestrian light. I haven’t done that in years.

So Sasquatch worked out well for me. Thank you, Reilly (and Matt, Cheryl, Naomi, and Iryna, who stood in for Matt when he was out), and also Evan, ever the cheerleader. I will be taking a break for a few weeks for travel on a project. But I will be back.

I’m so grateful to Evan and Riley and the amazing coaches at Sasquatch Fitness Kirkland! In just 2 weeks, it’s been more than just a workout—it’s been a journey of mental, emotional, and physical growth. Evan’s weekly check-ins, not just on fitness but on my personal and mental well-being, have made a huge difference. The workouts are fun, always varied, and the community is so welcoming. I joined for 6 weeks, but I’m staying until I hit my goals—and beyond! I strongly recommend this to anyone looking to transform your personal life.

Great Experience, Cut Short by Injury

Overall, this was a great experience, largely thanks to the high quality of most of the coaches. They really know their stuff. Regrettably, we had to discontinue after a few weeks due to some minor injuries developing. Otherwise, we were very happy with the program.

Sasquatch is an amazing place to start a fitness journey. This was my first time working out in a functional training facility, and every instructor provided a great training experience. It feels amazing to push my boundaries and surprise myself. The gym is super spacious and incredibly hygienic. One of the best aspects is the in-house nutrition Todd support—after all, as the saying goes, fitness is 80% about the food we eat and 20% about the workout.

By the end of my 10 sessions, I felt more confident in my ability to apply the knowledge that he had shared with me.Thank you for your dedication and hard work.

Sasquatch Strength is a fantastic place to train and build strength. The coaches thoroughly explain the workouts and provide cues to help you maintain proper form. The equipment is in excellent condition, and the class sizes are relatively small, which allows the coaches to offer personalized guidance during workouts. The workouts themselves are varied, with different focuses throughout the week. The app experience is user-friendly and makes it easy to track your progress. Overall, I highly recommend Sasquatch Strength to anyone looking to start their fitness journey with exceptional coaching and accountability.

I rushed into signing a $1200 contract for a 6-week free trial with a nutritional consult, with the promise of a refund if I didn’t like it. Due to personal issues, I could only attend three sessions. Despite being on a free trial and realizing it wasn’t for me, I offered to pay for the sessions I attended, but they refused to refund anything and only offered two months of participation.

My advice: don’t sign a contract. Pay monthly instead, as the instructors are good, but paying upfront could result in losing your money, even though they claim they’ll reimburse you. I was surprised, as they didn’t seem like the type to dishonor their word.

Sasquatch Strength is an awesome place to get stronger and learn how to lift. I've particularly liked learning how to do cleans which I would never had done on my own. In just a month here I've already noticed that I've gotten a bit stronger and put on some muscle. The coaches do a great job dealing with people of all levels so definitely give it a try.

I joined Sasquatch Strength in Kirkland 2 months ago as a 64 year old woman who wanted to improve her strength, muscle tone, and keep away osteoporosis. I started in their intensive 6 week program which included body scans every 2 weeks and weekly nutritional counseling. If I missed a class, I got a phone call. I have gone faithfully 3 times a week since I started.
I was worried about not fitting into a strength gym as I saw the large weights that the men and women were using. The coaches suggested I try the 8 am class where I found several women my age or older. And they were so strong! They have helped me be stronger too! The coaches have all been very nice, informative and have adapted my workouts to my physical limitations.
In 6 weeks, I gained 2 lbs of muscle throughout my body and lost the same in fat. My weight is down and my arms are starting to look buff! I always feel great when I leave.
It is expensive when you compare to some other gyms, but the personal attention you get and the genuine care they have for their members really shows. Well worth it!

My wife and I read reviews for a number of gyms in the area, got the best vibe from Sasquatch, and then came in for a consultation with Collin, the gym manager. He had us do a body scan, listened to our goals, assured us that it was completely fine to have no prior experience with barbells or kettlebells and be out of shape, and then signed up for the six week challenge, which includes unlimited classes as well as nutrition coaching.

It's now been two months, and we've both added some muscle and lost fat, in addition to feeling stronger, sleeping better, and having more confidence. We look forward to classes every weekday with Reilly, who has just the right demeanor in terms of being encouraging and helping to push us without making us feel worn down. In the early days, we were clueless about technique, but he was great at providing guidance and continues to give suggestions every day on things to try to improve. The rest of the staff is super friendly and encouraging as well, as are the other gym members, who are at various levels of fitness and not all meatheads by any means.

Tracking my workouts in Beyond the Whiteboard, I've seen good improvement over time in squats, cleans, bench press, etc. and try to take both the workouts and diet seriously to continue making gains. What I think helps to make Sasquatch workouts sustainable is that there's a lot of variety, and you can use more or less weight or pick a modification (e.g. assisted versus strict pull ups) to modulate the intensity of the workout depending on your fitness and energy levels. After returning from a vacation, you'll probably be more sore than usual after the first class, but you don't need to worry about being able to keep up.

6 weeks into Sasquatch and im hooked. I came in apprehensive if this is the right gym for me to reach my goals but boy was I pleasantly surprised with the experience here.
The workouts are challenging but not too out of bounds that it demoralize you. The community is amazing and the coaches are awesome. Very supportive.
The nutrition coaching and accountability was the key to my 6 week bootcamp. Having a regular checkin with Corey and going over the inbody scan numbers was very useful. It really got me to think hard about my food habits and what I specifically needed to change to reach my goals.
Is recommend Sasquatch to anyone looking for a great supportive gym that makes you feel welcome.

Great instructors. Clean facility. Relevant classes. I've been a member near one year now and motivated enough to get there for their 6:00 am classes. The classes vary, focusing on different muscle groups. Classes always start with a warm up and may or may not include weights. I'm 69 and some exercises aren't in my repotoire (ie my body doesn't move that way), but the instructors work with me to find something similar I can do. I fell motivated and I have seen results with weight loss, better balance, more stamina and greater strength. I highly recommend.

I have been very highly impressed with this gym. Coming off of a broken wrist. I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to do the workouts, the staff has been really accommodating and shown me ways to still engage with the workout without hurting myself. What I really like about this place is they focus on form and the work outs build different moves upon each other so that you are able to lift heavy amounts of weights safely. As someone who's a former athlete, it's really nice to feel like I'm back on one of my teams where the coach is guiding me and helping me be my best self. Also shout out to the front desk staff who is super friendly when you walk through the door.

From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a smile and a hello every time from the front desk staff, and the coaches there are truly some of the best in the game. All the equipment is top of the line, and don't get me started about the programming; it's the most thoughtful, high-quality programming I've ever used. When I signed up, I received a free month of nutrition, and the nutritionist, Corey, is one of the best I've ever worked with. Additionally, the gym manager, Collin, is one of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever meet. Absolute 10/10 gym.

I joined Sasquatch Strength back in October as a last attempt at staying consistent in the gym. Before I joined, I’d get into fitness for maybe 6-12 weeks at a time and then I’d be right back on the couch eating chips and not stepping foot in a gym for months. I had tried all sorts of things from running, martial arts, cardio boxing, and strength training but nothing would stick. I’ve now been consistently attending Sasquatch classes for 6 months and am amazed at the amount of strength and conditioning I’ve gained over the time. I’m less achey and I have way more energy throughout my day. I’m also getting compliments on my physique for the first time in a long while. Sasquatch strength is worth checking out if you want a close knit community who will make every workout fun and will keep you accountable. They’re intentional with their routines, prioritizing mobility and safe form while focusing on functional movements that will contribute to your longevity. Definitely worth checking out!

I have struggled with motivating myself and pushing myself in safe, but accomplishable ways. After going to Sasquatch, I found myself craving to workout in ways I never experienced before.

For context, I am by no means a superfit person, but I want to be in better shape and am actively working toward that goal. Honestly, Sasquatch Kirkland makes me feel like I can do it.

The coaches are incredible and supportive, pushing where they need to, but showing empathy when they feel like you're genuinely struggling.

The workouts really push you, but always shock you with how much you are able to do. They are also balanced and encourage you to come in multiple days a week to have a holistic body experience.

Lastly, the community is incredible. I found friends here and we all motivate each other to get through our workouts.

Truly the best class I've done/found! I highly recommend it to all and can't wait until I'm back from the holidays to keep going <3 :)

This gym lost my business before having it. Very poor customer service from the start. I came in for my scheduled assessment early, and when I got there, there was confusion on my booked appt. I was told they couldn't see me until they found me a trainer who could do personal training before the assessment. Yet on the call prior when I booked the appt, I was told the assessment will be done as the initial step to understand my goals and determine the right program and coach. Then the girl up front (black hair, brown eyes and looked to be in her 20s, who also refused to give me her name) proceeded to tell me that they couldn't give me a call because there were duplicate numbers in the system, which was also very confusing. If there are duplicate numbers, how does that prevent you from calling, I asked. She proceeded to stumble and appear nervous then finally said that the number they took down was incorrect. I was starting to feel like I was getting the runaround, and politely told her, that if you guys messed up and completely forgot about my appointment, just say that - and thats ok. People make mistakes all the time and thats ok, but to look me in the eye and feed me inconsistent answers makes me lose trust. I asked her if I can speak with her manager or the owner, and she refused me that right. I merely wanted to provide feedback that customer service shouldn't be hard - I'm totally easy going, but didn't appreciate the story telling and runaround to a very simple appt coupled with the deflection that I was the one being rude. I'm very disappointed - I was really looking forward to training here. An easy "I'm sorry for the confusion, its our fault, is it ok if we schedule you another time - we have great trainers who care, etc." would've been fine.

I can’t recommend this gym enough! Firstly, the workouts are intense and will definitely help you reach your fitness goals. I’ve already seen changes in my body and feel more confident, plus other benefits like better sleep, less back pain, and better mental health. Something that is very important to me is safety, and the coaches prioritize this heavily, with proper warm-ups and close monitoring of your form during the class. They always offer modifications if you can’t do something. Secondly, the community here is awesome! The coaches and staff are so friendly, with people greeting you by name as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone I’ve met in my workout classes have also been super nice! As someone who WFHs and is by herself all day, it’s great to come here and get some socializing in while also getting in a killer workout. Finally, I’ve been very impressed with how the coaches check in with you 1x a month to talk about your goals and make sure you’re on the right path. These check-ins have inspired me to make positive changes in my life outside the gym, so it’s truly a lifestyle change you’re making. For the first time in my life, I look forward to my workouts. If you’re wanting to level up your fitness game in a supportive, community-focused environment, you should definitely join!

I am not motivated enough to go to a gym and figure out what I should do. If I joined a conventional gym I would probably just not use my membership. Sasquatch Strength is different. There is a coach that leads an hour long class with a planned workout. Classes are usually about 4-10 people. It is like having a personal trainer that you share with others for that class. The schedule is great. There are morning classes, lunch classes, and evening classes during the week. Saturday mornings as well. The coaches are personable and friendly. Somehow they know everybody’s name too. I do well in this type of system. The peer pressure of working out in a group and having someone dictate exactly what I should be doing helps me.

Why do i pay Sasquatch Strength Kirkland when I have a fee membership elsewhere? It's the entire system of small group and coaching support. When i received the free membership (to another gym) with insurance a few years ago, I hired a personal trainer for a few months to get me back into the training rhythm. Not being a gym rat, after a while, I got a bit lost (forgot stuff) with the machines and different movements.

At Sasquatch, the small groups have a semi-private trainer all the time. There are some exercises that I can't quite do because of limited mobility or low muscle tone. Instead of struggling with it, the coaches modify or even change it totally to something else that will lead to being able to do the original movement in the future.

Other members who come on the same days and time are encouraging and help keep me moving forward.

So, for me rather than walking into a huge room of equipment where I feel lost, I have support from members and coached.

Jason is great!

I also definitely appreciate how clean the gym and the equipment are. If you’re trying to decide on which of the various gyms in the area to join, check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Sasquatch strength Kirkland is the first gym that I have ever belonged to that I have built a community with. Everyone is so nice and the workouts are hard, but the coaches are really good at adjusting them to each person. They offer a variety of classes so if you over sleep you can try a different time or if you get off work late you can go later. Overall, definitely my favorite gym that I have ever been a part of.

I’ve just started here, and even just a few workouts in, I’m super happy with how the workouts here are structured and led. The coaches are knowledgeable and helpful, and I’ve been able to try things like free weight lifting that I had never been brave enough to do at any other gym. Also, there was no hard sell to join, which was very welcome.

What an awesome gym! I've been training here since it opened in Nov and it quickly already feels like a community. Love the flexibility of class times (lots of options to work with busy schedules), and super high quality coaching.
All coaches are friendly/personable and make an effort to connect every class and provide tips and modifications for all levels and goals, with focus on quality and form... and FUN!!
I joined to develop more strength and skills, but find myself signing up for cardio and conditioning classes because they're so fun and effective :)

Exercising in a group helps with motivation and the coaches are with you every step of the way supporting you in any way they can.

I have been working out here for just over 2 weeks now and so far have had a great time and feel like it's a good investment. I am not usually a fan of group workouts but wanted to try something new and now I look forward to going 5 days a week. I consider myself slightly more athletic/physically fit than average and I can honestly say I feel like I get a great workout every time I come in and have felt parts of my body I forgot existed because of the range of motion incorporated into the programming. I think the best description would be that it's like CrossFit but really chill vibes and maybe more beginner friendly.

Great if you're looking for:

- Challenging workouts that are intelligently programmed and include targeted warmups and cooldowns based on what muscle groups will be emphasized
- Efficient use of your time - workouts are exactly an hour long and they keep to the schedule every time
- Scalable programming - workouts can be made as hard as you want in terms of weight or intensity or scaled down if you are just starting working out or recovering from an injury. Seems like a wide range of people are here in terms of where they are at in their physical training journey and any workout session can easily accommodate people of the entire fitness spectrum
- Friendly and motivating staff and nice patrons - only met good, chill people here so far
- Fitness that can fit easily into your schedule - they basically run a class every hour of the day (at reasonable times) and at an hour flat it's easy to work it in
- Clean facilities with well maintained equipment

Probably not for you if you need:

- An open gym - it's only scheduled workouts under a coaches supervision
- Specialized training regime - Workouts are more generalist rather than targeted so if you are a serious bodybuilder/powerlifter/endurance athlete than this probably isn't for you (but you already know that don't you)

Shout out to Coach Cole for keeping me motivated to come in before the sun comes up each day!

Really great new gym if you're near the area. Have been to classes with most of the coaches and they are all amazing, super friendly, and very knowledgeable. The staff (shoutout to Patti!) are also amazing and always happy to answer questions and help you out with inbody scans etc. as needed

I love that it's easy to sign up for classes via the app and there are several throughout the day so it's easy to always find a time that works for you.

Daily workouts Mon - Sat and they are opening outside of federal holidays, so this is a great place to kickstart your new years resolution to get back in shape!

Couldn’t say enough good things about this place, but wanted to leave a review for anyone looking for the best gym I’ve been to. I have personally training sessions with Jake, who’s been a tremendous help to keep me on track to meet my fitness goals. I worked with him initially at a previous gym, and followed because he’s been a consistent and wonderfully great person. He’s extremely knowledgeable and does a great job always planning out a solid workout. I don’t want to leave the kindness of the other staff out, and can attest they’ve all been very inviting and kind (the nicest of any gym I’ve been a member at). I’d strongly encourage anyone that’s thinking about joining a gym or just switching to give this place a shot! And to also take advantage of personally training with Jake.

The gym isn't open yet, but the sign up process was easy and the people are super friendly. What made me sign up was when they told me they can help me achieve my goal of certain calisthenics moves - such as the Planche and human flag pole.

Edit:
After working out at Sasquatch I can honest say it was worthwhile signing up and going through the effort with being involved in the community. People are nice. Coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. Plus the whole team truly cares about you reaching your fitness goals.

I hope people take the same step I have, and if you do, I will see you in class.

Highly recommend

We just started going to Sasquatch and have been very happy with it. The instructors and staff are fun, knowledgeable and make the classes challenging and varied. There are exercises we do and equipment we use that I might not have ever tried in a gym on my own. We’ve started to get to know some of our regular classmates, which makes it even more engaging. I'm new to the Sasquatch strength community. The Kirkland location is brand new (grand opening was Nov 2022). I've been going at least 3 times a week. The staffs are very professional and attentive to correcting my forms to make sure I did the lifting correctly and not get injuries. I like that the workouts types vary everyday, so different parts of my body get activated on different days of the week.

I am very new to Sasquatch Strength (joined a month ago) and have not always been a regular gym person. Honestly, I did not like the first class very much, but on subsequent ones, it blew me away on how effective the exercise plans are. Corey is an amazing instructor. He will push you, help you with your form and will know your limits as well. He will establish a personal connection, which I have not experienced in other gyms. The staff at Kirkland are very kind, courteous and will help in whatever way they can. It continues to be a great experience for me and I know Sasquatch will help me achieve my fitness goals.

I have been attending Sasquatch Strength Kirkland since they officially opened on November 11, 2022. Full disclosure, this is my first group fitness experience ever. In summary, I would recommend this gym to everyone.

Workouts: 5/5
I think it’s important to note the emphasis Corey puts on getting your form correct. IYKYK. Each class consists of a warm up curated to loosen the muscles you will be using, a movement run down to understand the workout you will be doing, and then the actual work out. Each workout can be modified to your fitness/mobility level. Add as much or as little weights as needed.

Coaches & Staff: 5/5
They’re kind, they’re knowledgeable, and they’re willing to help. I appreciate that the coaches not only explain the workouts well, but they will come around and correct you if necessary.

Accessibility & Booking: 5/5
Sasquatch provides an app that makes it easy to book or cancel a class. There is also a secondary app that allows you to see the workout regiment beforehand. This makes it easy for me to mentally prepare for the next day. Additionally, it allows you to track your progress and fitness goals.

Cleanliness: 5/5
The equipment is well maintained and clean. The coaches put an emphasis on wiping down all equipment and putting it away after every workout. Small shoutout to them for putting female products in the restroom for just in cases. Really goes to show they care!

Progress: 5/5
It’s embarrassing to say I started the gym with crazy knee pain from 24/7 volleyball. I can now go up and down stairs with zero knee pain. Overall my health and happiness has greatly improved, so join now!

Decided to join a new gym after relocating from CA, I was almost ready to recommit to Orange Theory but I decided to check out some options and maybe trying something a bit different. I was debating between OT, Pilates and a few other group fitness classes. I saw Sasquatch Strength was opening soon and unfamiliar with what was offered I decided to check it out for myself. As soon as I walked in I was (happily) greeted. Corey gave me a rundown and tour of the gym, services offered and what to expect. Needless to say I was sold, Im excited to get started since I’ve always just attended cardio focused workouts.
