My 3yr old loves her class, looks forward every week. She's learning great skills for her age. Also had her birthday here and it was so fun and everyone was great.

I was here with my nephew and went to jump into the ball pit with him and I was yelled at saying that I needed to read the sign. All the sign said was jump in feet first it's what we did. Not sure what the deal was.

Not a good fit for beginners, and staff is rude to kids who are. Will not be going back.

We stopped going to lessons for my 4 year old. Some of the teachers aren’t very patient for kids that are still learning and they are not able to redirect if your child has more trouble focusing. An instructor that is kind but also has the tools and knowledge to help get kids, especially young kids to focus & is able to reinforce those positive behaviors would be good. Maybe some more staff training on this. Gymnastics skills are good really all they focus on. I think maybe If your child already knows basic gymnastics it would be a better fit. We also came for a birthday party and I just felt like they had so many rules and the only time the staff interacted with any kids or parents was to repeat the rules. I imagine some of the other locations may have better staff, this one is not my fave tho. Photo of my son being carried off by a staff. Really didn’t care to try and help the focus it was just lots of no no no 🤷♀️

Claudia Cecil should be fired for the way she grabbed my daughter. This lady has no business being around people's kids. She has anger issues and is very judgemental. She has now made threats towards my wife and put her hands on her. This is completely unacceptable.
My daughters go to the gym class regularly. We signed our oldest up for the gymnastics class on Saturday. We showed up to be told they over filled the class and wouldn't be able to start until July 1st. A phone call would've been nice.

We just don’t really like the way this place operates. The staff is cool and all and the venue is fine. We just didn’t feel like there is much value in going there if you are hoping for your child to get “coached”. Seems more like an expensive indoor play date. They’ve also had a couple times where they had to shut down for some unforeseen issues but still expected full payment for the month of classes. Zero flexibility to go to class on a different day when life comes up even when the class isn’t full. We’re pulling our child out.

Place is ok but not ideal policies.
Often they are closed a week out of the month and you are forced to miss classes, and you still have to pay the full monthly fee even though they are closing. Definitely don’t feel like that’s right, and they don’t allow make-up classes which is another not so great policy.
Their bottom line is definitely the dollar.
My child enjoys classes so we will continue, and the instructor is great, wish they would adopt more family-friendly policies however.
If I could find a smaller local gym with better rates and a more understanding policy I’d switch in a heartbeat.

My daughter has been taking classes at Columbia City SGA for years. They recently opened a new gym in Burien. Yay! Much closer.SGA staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and diverse. I value that they have a very diverse clientele as well. So important. 5 stars.

My son had his first class at the Burien location. We were so excited and had been talking about it for weeks leading up to it. Unfortunately, excitement quickly turned to extreme disappointment as we had a terrible experience with the instructor.
My son was playing on the mat waiting for class to begin. No one acknowledged me or my son to the point where I had to ask several instructors where He belonged. Finally, one of them said he should be with her and another instructor scoffed and rudely said “he’s all yours” to the instructor.
I got him to go with the rest of his classmates . The instructor never acknowledged him or introduced herself or even spoke to him. The only thing she said to me was “he needs to stay with the group or he has to leave because I’m not stopping my class to deal with him.”
Against my better judgment I encouraged Harper to participate because he really wanted to do gymnastics. My son was having difficulty following the instructions as this was his first class. My wife tried to help him and she was told she had to leave by the instructor or sign a waiver to be on the mat. My wife tried to tell the instructor that my son would respond better if she would talk to him, teach him or even acknowledge that he existed and the instructor told her that her class wasn’t the class for our kid.
I immediately grabbed my family and canceled our membership immediately. I’m not going to have my child someplace where they are not wanted or appreciated or even treated like normal humans. The next day the owner called to apologize but only made excuses for the experience citing that they were understaffed and poorly trained.
I wouldn’t recommend this place for small children.

We have been thrilled with our daughter's experience at SGA Burien. She goes twice a week in the evening and both the coaches have been absolutely phenomenal. They learn her name quickly, pay close atention to each exercise and offer feedback and corrections gently and understandably so that the gymnasts improve every week. They keep the classes a very manageable size so that each athlete gets really good attention. Highly recommend!!

We are new to SGA. The SGA burien location our 3 boys have attended since opening has been awesome. The coaches are all friendly and welcoming. Each of the boys have age appropriate activities and things they work on. The location is clean and very spacious. We had 1 of our sons birthday parties here and it was a fun, affordable event space and all the staff that were here during it were great and kept all the kids entertained and also helped us set up some decorations! We appreciate all the great staff you guys have and will continue to bring our boys here!

This location is brand new, clean, spacious and has great parking. We were regular customers at the Columbia City and Lake City locations and so were excited to have a location closer to me. My daughter and I decided to stop by before grocery shopping as I wanted to show my 3 year old where we were having her party. I mentioned to the representative, Odette that my daughter was planning to have a party and just came to show her the place for approval. I was so excited about this location and wanted to bring my 5 year old here as well. I mentioned that she was Autistic and she responded with a non-welcoming face and asked me how autistic my child was. I didn’t expect to be treated with such unprofessionalism especially given my great experience from the other locations.
I was caught so off guard that I said thank you and told my 3 year old that unfortunately she will not be having her birthday party there because your sister would not be welcomed here. SGA Burien please do a better job training your employees.
