I’ve been working with Josh and SKB for ~9 mos or so and he has already helped me lose weight and reclaim much of my fitness from a time before children. As a fellow Dad, he can relate to being a parent — he is very flexible and adapts our workouts to accommodate my travel, my family, and various fitness goals. Did I also mention his training and knowledge in sports medicine, kinesiology, and nutrition? Saved me from some sciatic pain as a side benefit. His rates are more than fair, and worth every penny. Anyone nervous about starting a fitness journey, interested in exploring a new kind of training, suffering from an injury they can’t train through, or wanting to take their fitness goals to a new level but aren’t sure where to go next; will benefit from training with Joshua at SKB. He coaches in a safe and judgement-free space, and is easy to take instruction from. He totes extensive knowledge and experience with physical therapy, fitness, and how the human body functions. As a functional fitness junky, it’s nice to finally have someone make a program just for me, rather than being dropped into a program made for a group that’s hit or miss week over week. He’s a great listener and is committed to helping his clients works towards the goals we set for ourselves rather than some predetermined ideals based on stats. I’m feeling stronger already and enjoying the process, which is key for me. 12/10 recommend!

Gym is a place where people feel most awkward but when you enter ETF all the staff is very welcoming and they make sure you feel at home. Hesitation is a huge setback for many people, so this really helped me in the beginning.

I can't say enough great things about Coach Hughes. I suffered a life changing health issue because of my bad eating habits and lack of activity. Coach helped me get thru that situation and now I am thriving. From his understanding of Kinesics to his care and compassion, I have never felt stronger mentally or physically.
My wife and I train together so it can be tough; yet he always finds some antidotal story or solution to enhance the experience.

I have been training with Josh since January of this year and during that time I have gotten stronger and formed a healthier lifestyle. I have had previous trainer and none can compare to him. Josh is a great trainer because his expertise is not limited to swinging kettlebells. I broke my pelvis and had to get surgery that removed a significant amount of muscle. Josh started making house visits and giving me routines to helped build that muscle back up without compromising my recovery. I believe that this is the reason that my doctor and physical therapist say my recovery is almost 2 months ahead of where they expected it to be. I'm now going on light mountain bike rides 5 months after surgery, instead of 7 months. I owe a lot to Josh's help. GET SOME!

I've been a customer here for years. I started out as someone who barely exercised at all, my max weight on kettlebells when I did use them was pretty low, and to boot I was working a sedentry job. Joshua met me where I was at in my journey, and learned quickly how to coach me thru my sessions with him, finding what worked for me and keeping track of all of it. Soon, I went from dreading working out to actually enjoying the sessions, and the results are really showing. When Covid hit, he was willing to pivot to coaching me remotely in our sessions, and we kept seeing results even then.
I highly recommend trying out SKB; if Joshua can help a programmer not just workout consistently but get visible gains, just imagine what he can do to help you.

We’ve been training with Joshua a little over 3 months, 3-days a week at 4am (via FaceTime). At first we were a little skeptical about the format and how it would translate, it has turned out to be awesome!! I was looking for consistency. I needed someone that was going to hold me accountable and push my body to the limits each session. He's opened functional doors that I didn't even think I could reach. Finding SKB was one of the best things I've ever done for my life! Little did I know looking online for a change in trainers would impact my life forever. He cares about you personally and does back research specifically for you and your body. Joshua is passionate, fun, full of life to say the very very least! He eats, drinks and breathes SKB. I've been working out with Joshua for a month and a half now. I already notice little changes here and there. More energy, better mood, ability to focus, my balance is getting better, and I'm starting to notice a difference in my physical appearance. Josh is an awesome trainer and really makes working out fun! He has many options other than kettlebells to work out with as well. There are usually 2-5 others, so you really get attention on how your format is with a certain exercise, much more personal than many gym classes. I highly recommend!!

I am 40+ and needed an exercise I could actually do that would not adversely affect my fibromyalgia. Joshua took the time to meet me and identify my needs. He then "tailored" a plan which includes working out 3x week in his kettlebell class. This class has changed my life! He is committed to steadily strengthening and increases your "training" based on your effort and the results he sees. The classes are small enough in size where it almost feels as if you have your own "trainer" yet still "affordable" because it is a class setting. Joshua's positive attitude, background, experience in the field & perseverance is a winning combination for those like myself who just want to get healthier & lose some weight as well as the more "serious" type of person who would like to even "compete" it weight lifting. Joshua is AWESOME trainer - I signed up for 3 sessions with him and I am deaf and was concerned how to communicate with Joshua. I never had a problem because he was willing to write down the instructions on a whiteboard. He also was very visual (demonstrating how to do the exercises and easy to follow. I plan to sign up for some of his classes in near future.

Friendly trainers, welcoming ambience and a fun place to workout and get great results! I have always hated working out in crowded gyms and never felt I was getting the proper training in large class settings. I wanted a place where I felt comfortable and could get more one on one time to help me with my workouts. I have found all that at signature kettlebell. Training is done in a professional fun and effective way while insuring your doing the workouts safely. Joshua is extremely knowledgable in kettlebells as well as body movement/function.It is obvious he continues his education and tries to maintain current with the fitness world. His teaching style is very thorough and I love the versatility in the workouts, depending on if you are a person who likes a long workout or a short intense complex moves workout. Great way to start the morning !
