I hope this is the encouragement you need to give Skyway Strength a try! I’ve been going to the group training sessions 2-3x a week for almost two months. I enjoy the workouts so much, and look forward to the giant endorphin rush each time afterwards. Most importantly 1. The vibes are right. Mikhail has created a very kind, inclusive, and welcoming space for people at all different levels of fitness and 2. The studio is clean and high-grade. I’m impressed by the top-quality machines and equipment which keep the workouts interesting and fun. I’m super happy to have found this place and strongly recommend it to anyone!
Update August 2025. It's been a full year since my initial review, and I wanted to give an update: it's still awesome, and I'm measurably stronger! But honestly, the physical gains aren't why I've continued to come to the workout sessions 2-3x/week for the past 13 months. No matter my mood, energy, or the weather, I make time for these workouts because they leave me happier, calmer, and more focused. For that one hour, I get to be fully absorbed in the workout. It's a break from the noise of everything else. I always walk away in a better headspace, and I look forward to that feeling every time. The people are chill and friendly, and Mikhail is consistently positive and encouraging.

Skyway Strength Gym was a game-changer for me! After my postpartum season, I wanted to feel like myself again and regain my strength. Coach Mikhail customized each workout with care, pushing me beyond what I thought I could do. The group workouts quickly became my favorite—I grew up an athlete, and this gym gave me that sense of team again. The no-nonsense workouts are tough, but the atmosphere is welcoming, supportive, and full of camaraderie. As a mom, it’s hard to find time for friendships, but this gym became my gym family. I started coming to Skyway Strength about three months ago and honestly it's been one of my best investments for myself. For years, I've struggled going to your typical LA Fitness type gyms and needed to shake things up. I decided to try out Skyway Strength so I signed up for the Group Circuit classes led by Coach Mikhail. Coach Mikhail does an amazing job motivating and bringing the best out of you during the workouts. He understands when to push you during the workouts and what your limits are. He offers a morning and evening workout class Monday through Friday (and occasional weekend classes) for the Group Circuits. Each class session is about a hour long and every session has a different set of exercises so the classes never feel stale. Honestly, one of the more surprising things about Skyway Strength is the community of people that attend Skyway Strength. Everyone is very friendly and really encouraging.
Coach Mikhail also offers 1-on-1 personal training sessions if group workouts aren't your thing. I highly recommend working out at Skyway Strength. Fun and challenging sessions that change every time you attend, an awesome Coach, great vibes and amazing community of people. And if you're not sure whether you'd like the Group Circuit classes, Coach Mikhail offers a free class session for you to try out the class so you might as well give it a try!

Mikhail is motivational while not pushing over your limits! I signed up for personal training with him while over coming injuries and seriously needing to get back into shape. He’s provided regressed exercises that have helped make working out feel accessible again. I can tell he also knows how to push when you’re looking for a butt kicking workout too! I found this gym through a random search on google seeking to avoid another big box gym membership. I am so impressed with Skyway Strength!! The professionalism, knowledge and kindness of Coach Seril is unmatched. I look forward to my sessions each week and can see results and improvement in my strength. I appreciate how personalized my workouts are and positive encouragement of where I am in my journey.
The drop in group classes are such a bonus to build community and continue to keep yourself accountable with all the work you are doing with personal training. Coach plays great music and the circuit program is awesome. All the weights are laid out for your level ahead of arriving and coach is keeping a constant eye to make sure everyone is safe, having fun and working hard!
The studio is very clean, organized and has well kept high quality equipment. In the summer months, the AC is cranked up to make sure the you are cool! Always water and towels ready as a nice amenity and perfectly clean restroom. I like the large tall and bright room for group fitness. The space is great and thoughtfully laid out.
I would suggest Skyway Strength for anyone looking for a personalized program with a group fitness opportunity that cannot stand the big box gyms. I am so lucky to find Coach Seril and join this incredible community that is changing my health and happiness!

Love supporting local business instead of big brand gym memberships that charge you for every little thing (like no show fees or late fees). Coach is understanding as long as you communicate! I've been seeing Mikhail for personal training once a week for 7 weeks now. I started changing my diet at the beginning of this year and finally decided to take it to the next level and start working out, but I've never been a good self motivator when it comes to working out. Mikhail is a great solution for that. He met me where I was at and challenges me incrementally to provide me with steady improvement. He works with any limitations you may have at the moment, which eradicated some weird fear I had of being handled by some kind of drill Sargent persona. My body is definitely changing, getting stronger, slimmer. Stairs are easier, hikes are easier.. I work as an electrician and I work with my arms in the air constantly... that's become much easier as well. And it's all thanks to Mikhail's help. I'm still not good at being a self motivator, but with Mikhail helping to keep me accountable in my baby steps phase, I hope that one day I'm able to turn that around. I look forward to continuing my workouts with him.
Also, I tried one of his group classes and it's a great workout. When I'm ready (still amping myself up lol) I'll be switching to his hybrid plan of unlimited group classes + 1 personal training session per week.
Cons: scheduling personal training sessions are on the booksy platform, and only allows you to schedule 2 weeks ahead of time. If you have an inflexible schedule, you have to stay on top of scheduling yourself in at exactly (to the minute) 2 weeks ahead. This leaves room for you to miss your preferred slot if someone else beats you to it. The platform also does not inform you if he isn't taking appointments on certain days (ie holidays). All of this can be worked around (make up sessions etc), but it's not ideal for someone with a very rigid schedule.

I trained with Mikhail for about year. And when I tell you, I got into the best shape of my life—I did. I got to the point where I felt very confident in my clothes and skin. I was strong. Don’t let his smile and charm fool you. He will push you. I tend to dread working out, but I looked forward to training sessions at the studio. I really enjoyed his group training sessions as well. I met some cool people, who come to class wanting to put in that work and who are devoted. Classes offered such a variety of lifts and exercises that truly fit all styles of training. Whether you’re training for a 5k or you need to be strong to chase after a toddler—Mikhail’s passion and commitment to getting you right, never seized to amaze me. He will design a fitness regime to fit your needs and reach your goals. His style is very personable, measurable and tailored to your fitness goals. The only reason I had to stop training with him was due to relocation for a job. If I ever moved back near his training studio, I sign right back up. Trust and believe me when I say—Mikhail is that trainer.

Deciding to jump into strength training with Skyway Strength is the best investment I've made in myself. Mikhail is a stand out coach that is an incredible hype man and also an encouraging counterpart in keeping my fitness goals on track. His positivity is contagious, especially during one on one sessions when I'm struggling to hit new goals. He's equally skilled at running a group class with personal attention to each participant. Great local place to get an amazing workout with a great group of people. Coach Mikhail is one of the hardest and most supportive coaches in the industry. He truly knows how to bring the best out of us even when we feel like we don’t have anything left in the tank. I am approaching my one year here and it’s been one of the best decisions I made when it comes to fitness. He offers one on one sessions or group sessions. The workouts are personalized and different everyday which makes things fun and challenging. I really wish I knew about this place sooner but so glad it was recommended to me. I honestly thought I would give it a week or two and find another place closer to me because it’s a 30-45 min drive each way for me but it’s worth the time. I only wish he had other locations closer to my house then I might be doing two a days! So far 25 pounds down and feeling better than I have in the last 10 years! I found Skyway Strength about a year ago and it's been a life-changer. I started with 1:1 sessions, and loved how each session was tailored to get me from my baseline to my goals. Coach Mikhail embodies the balance of keeping it real and keeping it positive, while holding me accountable to the goals I've set for myself. I have been training with Coach Mikhail since late 2021. Signing up was one of the best decisions I have made in my journey to live a healthier lifestyle. I really appreciate the personalized attention and communication style that Coach brings to the table, which are a part of a relaxed, but carefully crafted training style that helps me feel motivated to give as much as I can each session. He's great at describing and demonstrating new or unfamiliar movements so that I learn them quickly and with the proper form, which is something I can't say for the majority of trainers out there. He also is able to give context around the mechanics of various exercises, and help you understand the theory behind the way his workouts are structured. He can also provide dietary tips/tricks if desired. Lastly, although he is a bit of a Bruno Mars fan, I try not to hold that against him.

I've trained with Mikhail multiple times during his career as a training. When he was just getting started, he helped me lose 108lbs. (Got the pictures to prove it) He was a very active coach, involved and invested. Fast forward to present day, working with him on and off for the past 3 years, he is THE trainer you want. He was already fantastic just starting out but seeing his growth, the way he communicates, the way he trains, TEACHS and leads with compassion all while never letting you give up on yourself. He literally is the only person I'd drive 2 hours to put myself through pain for 😂😂. Every session is like a therapy session. I love the group sessions where we motivate each other, workouts are the best challenging you to continue to grow on your journey to weight loss or whatever that journey might be for you. This gym is a hidden gem in our community. Coach Seril is accommodating with scheduling and attentive to customizing a workout routine that works for you.
