I've been visiting this location for about a year. While I'd really like to rate the SLU solidcore more positively, dealing with anything outside of just taking classes is awful. Staff are quick to collect payments when the app isn't working, but are pretty negligent with other client-related issues (management of memberships, etc.). Aside from that, many of the instructors here are wonderful and class goers are generally kind.

I signed up for unlimited but they stop me anytime at the door saying just one class is allowed.

Was interested in trying [solidcore] since they are expanding to my city. I was visiting Seattle and decided to book a class. I arrived 10 mins early to get myself familiar with the studio. I was greeted by Drew, who was the instructor. I was given a secure locker to store my stuff. Once I entered the room, it was dark and moody. I loved there were mirrors both front and back of the machine. I had taken similar classes before, and had wished there were more mirrors. Correct form is really important. Drew let me know the class was going to be small, it was 9:30am on a Wednesday. He went over the machine and showed the class a few moves to expect. He also introduced me to a classmate who, if need, I could see what she was doing if I was unsure of a move. I felt very welcomed. I loved the encouragement during class. The room was dark and moody, the music was 🔥[solidcore] seems to be core/ab focused with addition of lower body and upper body. However, my inner thighs and shoulders were buring during a few moves. I was sweating, heart rate was averaging 119bpm. I really enjoyed the workout, the vibe, and the community. Will be joining my local studio and will be taking Drew’s class again if ever in Seattle.

The 5:30am classes were packed and it was just what I needed to kickoff the day properly before a long week of work away from home. Super convenient that they accept ClassPass so people traveling can workout while abroad. I'll definitely come back.

Coaches are great!! But the membership is frustrating! I got double charged every time when I upgrade the membership. There could be better communications between Solidcore and the IT company that built the app. The front desk lady could also be more experienced and offer more clear solution on how to handle this situation. I was left in silence for 5 minutes while she checked the internal system with a frustrated and annoyed look and ignored my proposals/questions multiple times as if they don’t make any sense at all.

I did the 2-week unlimited promotion, and it was fantastic! I tried different classes and instructors each day, and every one was great. I left every workout drenched in sweat and feeling amazing, with my mood significantly improved. This program consistently challenges me to the point of struggle until failure, and I see noticeable progress after every class. The instructors know how to read the room and motivate without being demeaning. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a rewarding, killer “pilates” workout!

The first class of mine was 10/10! The instructor Zara was so nice and helping me adjust the weights all the way through. She also corrected my gestures from time to time which made the first class a great value to me! Absolutely love this place!

Coach Kylie was the best coach I’ve ever had! I’ve taken so many fitness classes and she made my first solid core class the most enjoyable class ever. She’s so knowledgeable with fitness and corrected my form when it needed it. Gave me alternates to do when I couldn’t do the full range movement which was so helpful. She was so positive and didn’t make the first class scary or intimidating at all. I think I’ll come back to Solidcore just for her classes!!!

Great workout, but not so sure the reformer machines are cleaned regularly enough. Got a rash wherever my body was touching the reformer about 24 hours after the class. They do not require people to wear socks and have the class participants wipe down the machines, so be careful! Not particularly sanitary but I’d try it again wearing long sleeves and not trusting the machine was clean.

Working out at [Solidcore] is an absolute joy. From the way the coaches hype you, to how sweaty you get, each workout leaves you so shaky!
My girlfriend and I use this for cross training on our off days and not only have we physically gotten stronger, but we become even more bonded after every class when we talk about how sore we are 🤣🤣🤣
Here she is after her 25th class!

First time at the studio taking the Beginner50 workout and my instructor was Amie. She had the music low and lights on that helped a lot in taking things slow the first time. She designed a great class that got me sweating a lot. It was definitely at a good pace and was able to keep up. She was very attentive and corrected our postures. Would recommend this class.

My instructor was Amie and she was wonderful! She helped get me set up on the machine and was very good at checking in to make sure I was feeling good with the pace of things!
The workout itself was intense and challenging!! I absolutely loved it- I took breaks in between the moves but I could tell a lot of thought was put into curating the whole exercise session- after finishing the workout, my body is feeling it!

Was quite confused and overwhelmed but it was also my first time. The instructor we had didn’t correct form much which wasn’t very helpful.
