This gym exceeds all expectations. I was struggling to exercise while dealing with a nagging foot injury and generally finding my way after having two kids and a stressful job. I want to be around fun humans while I exercise. This gym has great customized workout plans and coaching to meet whatever your goals may be. Scheduling is so easy. I joined The Lift about two months ago and could not be happier with my experience. The workouts are tailored to your goals and capabilities, and accommodate for any injuries. The small group sessions mean that you get lots of feedback from the coaches - they make sure your form is correct and push you to add weight when you're ready (even if you don't think you are!)

It's a very positive and acceptable atmosphere - people with different fitness levels and goals working out next to each other and celebrating wins big and small. I never feel dumb for asking questions, and always leave feeling accomplished.

I absolutely love this gym, I love that your work out is personalized to your fitness level but also any injuries you are working around. I recently had to start PT due to some issues with my shoulder and was able to provide the PT notes to Alex & Cole and they are creating my stretches and work out to compliment what I'm doing at the physical therapist. I've been to a lot of different types of gyms and work outs over the years and I have to say this is the best place I've ever been. The environment is super positive and the coaches are so good. I love that they know when to push you a little and just so encouraging overall. One top of all that, I love the small group class style and the fact that there are so many class times available. (even if I always go at the same time)

Highly recommend doing personal training here. If you sign up, you’ll get a customized plan that you access in an app. You come in at a specified time you choose, and go through your workout following the app. You’ll always have a coach there to watch your form, explain how to do the move, or spot you. But since it’s semi private, they work the room. I work in sales and have two kiddos, so my schedule is a bit inconsistent. They have a lot of available times every day and allow you to book at days and times that work best for you. Alex, Ryan and Cole are all super knowledgeable but also approachable. They encourage me to lift heavier than I think I can, and I always walk away feeling like a badass. The other folks at the gym are all nice and welcoming. There are folks of all ages and types. There are no egos here. Jay good vibes! If you have an injury, they know how to accommodate. I originally signed up for 90 days, and decided to continue because this is the first program I’ve had where I am actually consistent.

I’ve been going to The Lift for 6 weeks and it has been life changing! The trainers are extremely knowledgeable. The community is very supportive and I look forward to seeing everyone.

The personalized programming has grown my confidence to lift heavy and do the exercises correctly. My strength has increased in a short amount of time and anxiety has significantly decreased. I actually miss strength training on the days I don’t go and am already seeing results after adding the nutrition coaching.

Five Stars Isn’t Enough!

I’ve been training at this facility for over three years now, and I truly can’t imagine my life without it. As a lifelong martial artist with a laundry list of old injuries shoulders, elbows, knees, and even a leg length discrepancy finding a training program that works with my body instead of against it seemed impossible… until I found Alex, Ryan, and Cole.

These guys are the real deal. They build fully customized, one-on-one programs tailored to you. They’re not just trainers they’re incredibly smart, deeply knowledgeable, kind, funny, and yes, nerdy in all the best ways. They’ve helped me strengthen areas I thought were beyond help, and they’ve done it all while keeping me safe and injury-free. They got me feeling and looking my absolute best for my wedding day!

The facility itself is spotless and welcoming. Every client I’ve met there is kind and encouraging, it really feels like a supportive community, not a gym. It’s everything a big box gym isn’t. You won’t find any of the ego or intimidation here, just a bunch of good people getting strong together.

When I showed up at The Lift I had been doing strength training for a couple of years at home without any knowledge or foundation, so I had nagging pain issues that were getting worse. Alex game me a full assessment and created a workout plan that incorporated exercises to address the pains I was having, strengthen weaker areas, and to support my many outdoor activities.

There is enough structure to get me there (signing up for a time slot), with enough flexibility to accommodate my constantly changing schedule and frequent work travel. The ratio of trainers to clients also means I have constant support to make sure I'm doing things correctly, and adjusting load appropriately, but without needing one on one coaching every time I workout. This really works for me!

I've now been through many injuries from mountain biking and surfing (or sometimes just life), and with custom programming and attention I have been able to continue working out as I recover, coming out stronger on the other side. My programs have also shifted to accommodate seasonal activity or training goals. It's amazing!

It's now been two years and I can't say enough good things about my experience at the Lift - the unique business model, the trainers, the community, have all had a big impact on my ability to be consistent, get stronger, and have fun.

Working out here has changed the way I see gyms. The energy is so uplifting. The trainers are so kind and encouraging but simultaneously make sure you are always pushing past what you thought you could accomplish. It is a perfect blend of private training and self driven workout. Love the gym culture here at The Lift. I've finally found a powerlifting environment that feels supportive, encouraging, and hands off in the kindest way when I'm feeling emo at the gym.

I've worked most closely w Cole and Alex and they're both extremely knowledgeable-- ask any question you got abt body mechanics, progression, form! If you want a weight loss-neutral approach to lifting/working out, these folks have your back 100%.

Membership does cost some serious $$ but I'm someone who really values that my programming is fully customized, I have help loading plates and being spotted, and I'm coached by chill and talented trainers. The Lift has an excellent gym set up w plenty of space to take a lap, do floor work, etc. All equipment is top notch, not overcrowded, and they're adding equipment bit by bit!

The other folks who workout here are kind and friendly, and I love that we're all here to do our own thing without too much fanfare or ridiculous group weight-loss competitions. I love my gym!

I've been coming to the Lift Gym for a little over a year now and I can't say enough good things about it. Alex and the team listen to what your goals are and set up your workouts to achieve them. It is also a really fun, welcoming environment and there is truly a strong sense of community.
I really like the set up of the semi-private sessions so you can get help when you need it and be pushed when you need it but not feel like someone is standing over you constantly.
I've built lean muscle mass and reduced my fat % and lost inches. I continue to get stronger.

I highly recommend the Lift gym. The team provides individual workouts for you based on your goals and needs. They switch the workouts up regularly which really helps to learn new things, prevent boredom and use new muscle groups. Alex, Cole, and Ryan are the trainers and always so friendly and very focused on what I need, how I am feeling and how to help me meet my goals. They are always there to help whether it is helping me set up the proper weights, checking in to see how I’m doing, and helping correct my form. Im in the over 50, "it seems to be a long journey back to fitness," crowd. I have hired trainers and taken part in gym memberships many times. LIFT GYM has been great. Using the app to stay in touch during the week, adjusting workouts when I'm traveling to use the hotel gyms, and the 1:1 attention I get during the in-house LIFT GYM sessions have all been great.

I've been attending the LIFT gym in Woodinville, 2x per week, for over 6 months now, and am happy with the results and experience. The trainers are great -- they pay close attention to clients and create or adjust the workouts accordingly. This personalized approach has made a significant difference in my progress:

The workouts are thoughtfully structured, e.g. progressing or changing up from heavier lifting with shorter repetitions -to- lighter lifting with more repetitions. Through the workouts, they introduce variety that has increased my stamina and strength, and kept my interest. Before I started, I had some minor lower back and shoulder crankiness, along with ankle instability. Now, I feel more balanced overall.

This is the gym I had been looking for, for a very long time!

I have tried many different gyms and personal trainer options, a long series of not being listened to, getting injured, feeling unwelcome.

This is the best gym I have ever worked out at. Great community with the other attendees. Good ratio of people per trainer. The planned workouts change regularly so I don't get bored and the trainer picks exercises that accommodate my limitations and get me to my goals faster than with other trainers. I joined the gym earlier this year and can only highly recommend! The trainers are knowledgeable, personable, and they take the time to get to know you and tailor programs to your needs, wants and desires, whether that's strength training, endurance, mobility and balance, weight loss, etc. They'll both push and support you, and work around any existing injuries or concerns. I've been at The Lift since fall 2023. I love the smaller gym environment with personalized attention and workouts. The team has customized my workouts to my goals, and after a couple months, all my knee pain vanished from strength training. They care about how you feel physically and will modify as necessary if you are having pain. Sometimes I have low back pain so they'll adjust my workout accordingly. There's peace of mind in knowing I'm not going to injure myself at this gym. They keep a close eye on form. I've gotten much stronger and can see it, and I feel it when cycling, dancing, and swimming. I cannot say enough good things about this gym! My husband and I found this place when at the Seattle Wedding Expo - we won a free trial when we stopped by their booth. After the trial, we were so hooked that we drive 30 minutes from our house to workout here, passing dozens of gyms along the way, because this place is just So. Much. Better.

I've worked with several personal trainers and Alex (we've mostly worked with Alex, but Ryan is also tremendous) is the real deal.

Why do we drive 30 minutes one way to work out here?

1. They only do small-group sessions, so the gym is never crowded. It's clean, the equipment is in great shape, and it has anything you might need to get in shape.

2. Alex and Ryan create a custom training plan for you based on an interview and physical assessment. My husband and I both have a variety of past injuries and other issues, and we are amazed at how much better we're feeling. We're never worried about injury or doing something we shouldn't, because these guys have 1000 different certifications and trainings to adapt your workout so it's right for you. I come in and say, hey, I did a hike and I'm having some pain here now - Alex will talk me through it, look me over, and add/change my workout as needed so it's safe.

3. It is a great, great community. Everyone is supportive, welcoming, and you spend a good amount of your time there laughing and having a great time. Alex and Ryan have incredibly engaging personalities that put you immediately at ease, and they've built a community that reflects that.

4. We leave every workout feeling great physically but also mentally. Besides the welcoming feeling, Alex and Ryan have that perfect knack to know when to priase you and when to push you for 1 (or 3) more reps. We leave feeling proud of ourselves, energized, and excited for our next workout.

This isn't just a gym where you go in and do a workout, barely look up from your phone, and leave. This is a whole-body approach to fitness, regardless of where you're starting and what issues you might have, that gives you a personalized, targeted recipe, tracking your progress, and celebrating your milestones. It's how fitness *should* be done, honestly.

Also, if you'd like to avoid crowded spaces due to pandemic-related concerns, there isn't a better gym. It's never a lot of people and they can open up one of the walls to have great airflow. Safest I've ever felt in a gym!

Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It's one of our favorite discoveries of 2023!

If you're looking for a trainer that knows how to make you work and get results without causing injury this is the gym for you. I started at The Lift 3.5 months ago with two recurring pain problems - neck and ankle (sometime going up to my knee). My goal was to be able to do my usual activities and hobbies without pain or, at the minimum, without pain that lasted for more than a week after the activity.

I'd been to a few specialists who hadn't been able to address the problems, and even had a sports medicine doctor tell me that I should cut back on my physical activity and accept I might just be getting too old to hike and lift weights like I used to (I'm not yet 40).

Then a PT I had seen a few years back recommended I try out The Lift. Alex watched me do a series of movements and instantly knew what kind of program would help me. My neck pain resolved surprisingly quickly (without me having to cut out my usual activities) and last week I was just able to go for a 6 mile snowshoe hike on a Friday and then another 2 mile trek to climb on Monday completely pain free.

These guys know what they're doing!

Added bonus: the people who work out here are gems. It's a welcoming culture and I never feel self-conscious about what I can or can't do. People will literally cheer you on through the tough stuff.
