Great Gym! Coach Mitch was great and mindful of the fact that it was my first time. I appreciated that he gave me instructions on my form and valued my safety. Even though I absolutely hate working out, I have yet to have a bad experience at this gym over the past two and a half months. The coaches know what they’re talking about even if you have been there for years like some of the members have they walk everybody through all the emotions making sure that your form is good making sure that you’re not gonna hurt yourself doesn’t matter if you’ve been in the CrossFit world for a decade or if you’re just starting out, this is a great place to be.

I’ve had an excellent experience at The Loop so far! From the moment I joined, it was clear that Mitch, the owner, knows how to run a business!

One of the first things that stood out to me was the ambassador program. As a new member, I was paired with someone more seasoned who helped me get familiar with the gym, making the transition into a new place much less nerve-racking. It had been a long time since I’d been in a CrossFit gym, so having someone help me get re-familiarized was great. On top of that, Mitch and the staff frequently check in to make sure I’m getting the most out of my membership.

The communication at The Loop is also top-notch. They regularly send out newsletters and social media updates, making it easy to stay engaged and informed. The gym also provides a useful app that does a great job with scheduling, includes social features, and even lets you see the WOD and who will be in your class.

Another thoughtful touch was the swag pack I received when I joined, which made me feel even more welcomed. All this to say, I was impressed by how well things seem to operate.

Beyond the community and organization, the quality of coaching and programming at The Loop is fantastic. The coaches are knowledgeable, attentive, and push you to improve while ensuring you move safely.

Mitch was ready to coach at 5:30 am again. So hard to be motivated that early in the day, but he seems genuinely invested in providing the best experience possible. 5:30 class is historically a low energy class, but Mitch is somehow able to drag the class energy level up by the end of class. I always feel better after class than before I walk in.

Lots of different time options for the classes. Coaches are fantastic and work well with people of all different fitness levels and capabilities. I've had back issues for many years and they've helped me find movements to strengthen and improve those issues. Ive been coming here for about 2 years and have never felt better and healthier in my adult life. Highly recommend! Edit: Updated October 2024- still coming here (now almost 7 years and still loving it! If you’re looking for classes where the coach and other members know you and keep you accountable, you can’t go wrong here! Still highly recommend.

I was skeptical of CrossFit for a long time but gave this gym a try. 9 months later and I haven’t looked back! Their amazing coaches and programming make you feel like you’re getting one-on-one training, but you also get the support of a wonderful and accepting community to go with it.

Not only have I seen an increase in strength and endurance, I have also seen an increase in my mental capability to push myself to get better each day.

New to the area, around 6 months ago, I set out to find not only a gym but also a community of like-minded people. After trying several gyms in the area, I HIGHLY recommend The Loop Fitness. Not only are they full of warm, friendly, and down to earth people, but they also provided the best fitness experience in terms of coaching, professionalism, and overall excellence. Not naming names, but other gyms I tried just pointed to the board to indicate the warmup and the coach spent the whole class rolling out vs actually coaching. From the coaching to the programming, from the facility (the gym is ALWAYS clean which is no small feat) to community engagement, and class experience, Mitch, the owner of The Loop, makes it clear that he is committed to constantly improving for the sake of his clients and community. The Loop Fitness has been somewhat life changing for me. I’ve not been one to be athletic or to play sports, so to say joining the Loop was out of my comfort zone, is putting it lightly. I’ve been going for over a year and the coaches are amazing! So supportive, meeting you where you’re at, sharing modifications that still provide an excellent workout. Coach Mitch has built an amazing team and they’ve created a fun, and encouraging environment! I have found my home!
Another thing is the Loop offers nutrition coaching! Tish is amazing in allowing me to be vulnerable with where my challenges are and what goals I want to achieve. Achieving your nutrition goals is more than just counting calories and Tish and all the coaches understand that it takes time and consistency in order to do it. It’s all about support, accountability and consistency! I love this place and would encourage anyone to try it at least once. You’ll be hooked, too!

The workouts. The community. The energy. I love it all. Whether you are a beginner or a competitive athlete, this is the place. I live in Arizona but spend about 3 months out of the year in Lake Stevens. Every time I walk in the door I’m greeted with genuine smiles, happy to welcome me back (from both the staff and the members) My favorite thing about the Loop is the excellent coaching and explanation before a workout begins. They breakdown the moves we’ll be doing so even a beginner can grasp the concept and not feel overwhelmed or discouraged because they don’t fluently speak CrossFit. The workouts are designed to leave you feeling challenged and accomplished with both strength and cardio elements built in. I leave feeling strong and energized. If you’re on the fence about visiting, don’t be. Take the plunge, you won’t regret it and you’re guaranteed to leave better than you arrived.

I joined The Loop about 8 weeks ago. It came highly recommended from a few friends.

As a stay at home mom of 3 who has sorta lost herself in the midst of motherhood and life. I didn’t think that I fit “the mold” that is tied to this level of fitness and had been so intimidated to start a CrossFit journey.

I signed up, showed up and I have felt so supported, included, encouraged, and inspired. The coaches are kind and motivating. Pushing me to keep going when I think I can’t. Coaching me on my form and movements. Cheering me on through out the work out. I truly believe I’m apart of something really special when I am there. I leave a better and happier person.

I’m so thankful that I signed up and that I get to be apart of this community.

I first went to The Loop during bring a friend week a few months ago, super reluctant. I've never been much to stick to a gym routine and was a bit nervous. I have been looking for a awesome gym for the past year and I found that the loop is that and some. I was nervous about doing CrossFit because it can be intense, competitive and can really injure yourself if lifts are not done with proper technique. The coaches here are phenomenal. They make sure you perfect the techniques during classes and give helpful tips and tricks to help you reach your goals and do it safely. For anyone that wants to get in shape and not be in super competitive CrossFit, this place is for you. People are friendly and family oriented and overall just a wonderful atmosphere to be in.

The Loop is THE BEST gym experience I have ever had. The coaches/staff and other members are all supportive, non-judgmental, helpful in every way and just fun to be around. I had never been great about keeping a workout routine but the Loop experience really changed that for me. The workouts are challenging but fun and always something new every day. It is truly amazing to see how quickly you can enhance your strength, mobility, energy, motivation and overall health/happiness by committing to a consistent CrossFit routine at the Loop. I stopped by for about a month and had an excellent time. The gym itself is BEAUTIFUL. There's plenty of space and you definitely won't be wrestling six other people while you try to do burpees. The equipment is clean and well cared for, the coaches know what they're doing, the programming is fun and challenging but easily scalable and there is an emphasis on quality over quantity in every way. I'm just sad that I don't live closer.

Update 5/15/20: The Loop has been great during the COVID-19 shutdown. Daily workout videos, loaning out equipment, Zoom classes, calls and emails to check in and to give updates. They remodeled during the shutdown and are ready to reopen safely as soon as they're authorized to do so.

Highly recommend The Loop! I started with zero CrossFit experience, very outside my comfort zone. The coaches meet you where you are at and scale the workouts to your fitness level.

The environment is supportive, encouraging and fun. Not everyone is ultra fit; there are people of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels.

I was never a person that enjoyed working out but now I go 5-6 days a week and love it. It's something I don't have to plan/manage myself and it's NOT BORING. Each day is different. The workouts are challenging, fast paced and performed in a fun group setting.

Also just FYI their SWEAT class and the CrossFit WODs are quite a bit different so I'd encourage you to try both and find what works for you.

UPDATED REVIEW: Still 5 stars, would add more if I could. I was in the BEST shape of my life headed into this quarantine. Down 40 pounds and I had MUSCLES!!! Well, guess what?

Still down 40 pounds and have MORE muscles two months into this Stay At Home order. Why? Because of The Loop. I've got my Zoom classes online, Happy Hours, Coaches checking in with me, Coaches who answer any question I have via text, email, or DM on Facebook. This place has changed my life and continues to change it daily. These coaches CARE. I messed up my back running last month and they modified each workout I showed up for - I didn't even have to ask, they were just on it right before we would start the WOD. "Jennie? Back still sore? Okay, don't do (this), I'm going to have you do (this) instead. For (this), we will sub (this)." I cannot say enough about this gym or these people.

I just moved to the area and I wasn't just looking for a gym, I wanted a family. It's what I left behind in my hike club when I moved up here from Los Angeles. My friends are all about CrossFit and I'd been wanting to try it but it's really intimidating from the outside. I checked out a few places, but when I walked in The Loop, I knew I was 'home.' Everyone was so friendly, so welcoming.

Those first 5 one-on-ones with Mitch were crucial - for both of us. He needed to know where my fitness level was at and I needed a little boost of confidence. Come for the workouts, stay for the hi-fives. I'm so excited to be a part of this community and to grow. If you're thinking about trying it, call The Loop. You've got nothing to lose. There are no heavy sell jobs here. You're not pressured into anything. Don't be scared to take that first step. They meet you where you are and get you moving in ways you've always wanted to, but never thought were possible! YOU are worth it!

Incredible place! Fantastic ownership, encouraging and motivating coaches, clean and organized facility, and really solid programming. This box is for all fitness levels. There is a true community feel. Ownership supports its members and the local community. I have been a member since July 2019. Due to Covid 19 we have been forced to go virtual since mid March. My fitness and nutrition hasn’t fallen by the wayside during this global pandemic due to the innovative solutions this gym has provided from daily programming, equipment checkout, nutrition coaching, daily zoom classes, regular member communication, town halls, zoom happy hours, and ownership and coaches who are reaching out often to virtually connect with their members to support and encourage us all while we are apart. The Loop is more than a gym. It’s a way of life and a fitness family. If you live in Lake Stevens and you aren’t a member here you are missing out!

Covid has been tough on small gyms like The Loop. To their credit, they have been fantastic at providing a modified program for members over zoom and social media. It’s kept people engaged and motivated during the stay home order. I can’t say enough good things about the coaches and their enthusiasm for your health.

I can't say enough about how great this place is. It's a gym of regular people trying to be more healthy. What I find best about this gym is that I never have to guess about what exercise to do each day. I come in each day and I'm told what to do and how to do it. I have only been at this gym for 9 months and I already have people noticing that my body has changed for the better. Long story short, CrossFit works. If you want a normal person gym of big people and small people and people of every fitness level, this is your place. You will fit in.

The Loop is an amazing gym. the coaches are here to help, and to keep you working towards and reaching your goals. They have started Zoom classes, so we can stay connected and on track during COVID. Some of the activities include: Daily fitness classes (including Saturday and Sunday), twice a week stretching class, Sunday Meal prep, and even a book club. Mitch and his team have gone above and beyond to continue to meet the needs of the members during this unprecedented time. I feel so lucky to be a part of this gym.

The Loop Fitness will be there for you through anything (injuries, nutrition, goals, friendship, and Covid-19). Before stay at home orders were in place I was working out 4 times a week and while we are under the stay at home order I am still working out 4 times a week. The Loop has made it possible for us to continue to work out through this via at home workouts and zoom workouts. They have let their members borrow equipment but the best thing is all workouts are adaptable for what you have available. They have taken the time to keep providing us with great workouts, community, check-ins, accountability, etc.

If we listen, in all of us there is a drive and need to be our best self. Everyone wants to feel good both physically and mentally. We want to be able to carry the groceries in without losing our breath, to hike with our kids and feel good when we slip our jeans on without laying down on the bed to get them buttoned. I've been working out at this gym for a few years now and have always had a great experience. The coaches are knowledgeable and treat you with the utmost respect. They push you to better yourself, while also respecting your personal limits. Need help with something? The coaches will answer any questions you have or tweak any workout routine to fit your needs.

Their first rule is no injuries and they live by that rule by teaching proper technique and giving you ample warm-up/stretch time. I had a knee injury from sports and they were able to accommodate me so that I could heal as well as stay in my routine. If you have a physical impairment they can modify any workout to make sure you get the most out of it.

In addition to my fitness membership, I've also recently enrolled in their nutrition program. I've learned so much about food and how it affects the body. If that's not enough I've lost 25 lbs. One thing I've always struggled with was keeping the weight off after losing it. It's the number one reason I signed up for the nutrition program and I'm 100% confident that this time I'll have the knowledge and know-how to keep the weight off once I've reached my weight-loss goal.

This summer I was able to participate in a Spartan Sprint and am training for a Spartan Beast in September. Until now I would have never dreamed of participating in races like these, but with The Loop's training I feel confident that I can conquer them. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking to improve their health.

What a great facility! I'm a local chiropractor, have been involved with the CrossFit community for over 11 years, and have had opportunities to train in numerous locations across the country. I've been working out in my garage for the past year and recently started missing the small group classes. A friend of mine suggested The Loop here in Lake Stevens and I have been impressed.

A couple key things that stand out to me personally and as a health professional. The trainers here care about safety over reaching for that next personal record at all costs. Chiropractors, massage therapists, and PT's normally call CrossFit "job security" and I chose to stay with these trainers because of their dedication to helping someone improve their quality of life, while not sacrificing safety.

The second thing I noticed that the coaches have an attention to detail of when their clients are failing. Several times I've seen coaches suggest their clients either reduce weight lifted, or reduce a number of reps completed in order to achieve the spirit of the workout. This is definitely a key thing to help, again minimize injury, but also see health improvements.

If you are new to CrossFit, The Loop is an excellent place to start bettering yourself. (If your not new it's still awesome!)

The Loop Fitness is a place unlike most gyms. I’ll explain, it’s not a place with state of the art exercise equipment or fancy flat screen TV’s or a Olympic size pool. This place is built from alot of hard work, devotion, determination, personal success, tears and sweat. It’s a place they actually change lives for the better. If you’re looking for a place you can better yourself and bond with like minded people who will make you feel like your apart of something larger than ourself. Well then you should call and even stop by to speak to one the caring coaches.

I love this place. I’ve been here for about 2 1/2 years. When I came I was a runner but I didn’t do any kind of serious weight training. Lifting heavy weights wasn’t something I thought I could do, especially with my bad back and horrible shoulders. The coaches here teach proper technique to help you get stronger.
More important is the camaraderie and sense of community the owner has built. There is something about conquering a workout with other people that makes a daunting workout more manageable. The goal of this gym is to make you better than you were yesterday. Have a bad day? Go lift heavy. Have a good day? Go lift heavier.

Like most folks I was scared to try Crossfit but at Mountain Loop all my fears were taken away immediately. Taking the fundamentals class was key to my success. The amount of classes and times worked both for before and after work. Megan and Mitch are a godsend and worked with all of my injuries and doubts that I had. Mountain Loop Crossfit has truly changed our lives! My husband and I planned to eat healthier and workout for so many years, but never found anything that motivated us and worked for us. We've tried every "diet" out there and only gained more weight over time and became less healthy. In January we took a huge step in our journey and joined Mountain Loop Crossfit for their "New You" 6-week challenge. The first workout was intimidating because we hadn't worked out in years, but the coaches encouraged us and helped us stick with it. We found that all we had to do was show up and participate and Mountain Loop Crossfit took care of the rest. The coaches scale the workouts for us, but also push us to do more because they often have more confidence in our abilities than we do. They have helped us with proper form, scaling as needed, and have provided a community like we've never seen before! Our family members all live out of state, but we feel like we have found a family here. The community is incredible. It's been 14 weeks since we joined and my husband has lost 38.5lbs and I'm down 32.5lbs. We are eating healthy, but not on a "diet" and are working out 3-4 times per week. This change could not have been possible without Mountain Loop Crossfit! I hope we inspire you to give it a try because anyone, at any ability level, can do it!
