Unstill Life offers year-round outdoor fitness classes (with virtual and indoor options for bad weather), personal training, fitness coaching and a walking and running group. We are a great fit for folks who love outdoor sports and want to up-level their fitness for adventures of all sizes. Workouts are adaptable to fitness level and work with/around injuries. Running not essential! You will be among a welcoming group of all ages. Come move outdoors with good folks!

Rachel is an excellent fitness coach with a unique ability to keep it fun and interesting! I have been participating in strength and stamina classes for 3 years now, she really helped pull me out of a fitness rut. I look forward to these morning classes, each one offers a different challenge with customization for all types of "athletes". I also enjoy meet ups with the run/walk group and the urban adventures she creates in various neighborhoods around Seattle. Rachel is skilled coach who truly loves to support others uplevel their movement whether you are just getting started or training for a major event. 2024 has been my most active year by far thanks to the Unstill Life Monthly Fitness Challenge. The fact that you can make money back if you hit your movement goal for the month is simply brilliant and shows just how committed Unstill Life Fitness is to their mission. Love that the class is at local Seattle parks, and it is kid-friendly. I have been bringing my kids with me for the past 3 years, and we all love it! It is a great community of people, we get a great work out, and the kids have a playdate. Rachel leads us in challenging work outs, and she is great bc she radiates positivity. Wow, every work out is uniquely different. Rachel does an amazing job of listening to her client’s needs, desires, limitations and then diligently finds solutions to help them meet their potential. If you have ever yearned to create a new lean body, she can help you do it. The outdoor workouts at Volunteer Park are my favorite, the opportunity to watch the sun come up while workout is fantastic! Rachel's strength + stamina classes are so much fun! The workouts are always different so it's not repetitive or boring. I love that I can bring my toddler and he gets to have a play date while I exercise. I also like that I'm setting a good example for him to make fitness part of life. It's really nice to be outdoors in a Seattle park, where the kids can play on the playground. I never stick with any fitness routine, but I've been coming consistently for 9 months and counting. It has been a great community to be a part of. I look forward to it and I've never felt that way about exercise before!

I have worked with Rachel for close to a year, and she is unequivocally the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. I was at a fitness crossroad when I met Rachel: I had recently delivered my first baby and had returned to my busy tech job. My baby weight-loss had plateaued, and for the first time in my life I was having a hard time fitting in my workouts and keeping my motivation level up. Going to a gym was not an option. Finally, my wedding was on the horizon just 6 months away, and I wanted to look and feel my best for that event. I hired Rachel to help design and coach me through a workout program that I could do in my home. Rachel quickly helped me put together a workout plan that was impactful, fun, and easy to follow. She helped me make some fundamental mindset shifts that were critical to my success – for example doing daily shorter workouts at home in <30 min (as opposed to my pre-baby mode of 1 hr workouts a few times a week). She also helped me mentally move past life setbacks and consistently get back to my program when I would fall off the wagon. Finally, she completely changed the type of exercise I was doing to maximize my results. Within weeks I saw results and within 2 – 3 months I was back at my target weight. By the time of my wedding I had gained a lot of new muscle tone and I really felt fantastic on my wedding day! My time with Rachel has been so successful that I view our time together as an essential part of my overall health and wellness. I look forward to setting and achieving new fitness goals with Rachel in my corner!

I am not an athlete. I walked a bit and hiked occasionally.
I started working with Rachel over three years ago because I wanted to be more active and fit.
She developed a great training plan that made me feel better and gave me a sense of accomplishment right away! Then I joined her running group. The next thing I knew I am running half marathons!

I have worked with Rachel for several years now and cannot say enough great things. She is focused, organized, and pushes me in a way that stretches my limits without making me want to scream or feel like I'm being tortured (a common complaint with past trainers).
