I have worked with Cat for a couple of years now. Cat has provided grounding, safety, and resonance as I've processed in very real time some of the most difficult events, themes, and periods in my life.
I simply can not overstate how safe I feel in her presence. Perfunctory walls drop with ease, and I feel like I'm sometimes very quickly able to get to the root of what I'm feeling, and really feel it, and express it, in her wise and compassionate presence. I just feel so at ease with her, and this is a big deal to me!
Her space is warm and light. But again, I don't feel the need to shy away from sensitive subjects with her. I've had many CBT therapists that have all been wonderful, and yet my time with Cat offers something deeper. I'm so grateful to always be able to invite movement into our sessions.
If you're reading this please take this as your sign to visit Cat if you're able. She is a facilitator of healing and I'm grateful for her.

Update #2: it’s been months since my last update and over a year since I’ve started healing work with Cat. I am making remarkable strides in my journey. For some added context I’m someone who’s experienced extreme continued trauma, from an upbringing in abusive foster homes, and various forms of abuse I experienced in my young adult life. I often feel isolated and compromised because of the sheer amount of trauma I hold and the way my body responds. I have serious CPTSD. Some sessions with Cat feel like a gentle hypnosis in which I’m able to immediately tap in to my younger self and my inner being and do real, guided, impactful work from that place. Cat is better than any formal therapist I’ve had, and I’ve had many therapists that I’ve worked hard with and trusted. I feel immediately safe with Cat, this can’t be understated. Not only is she intuitive, caring, wise and safe, she actually knows how to facilitate communication between me and my most wounded parts. No therapist or self help book has ever gotten me even remotely close. Cat has been generous to gift me these sessions on a scholarship, which makes me feel infinitely grateful. These last two years were incredibly difficult, and i can’t thank Cat enough for being an agent of not only safety but actual healing in my life during this time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Cat if you’re curious about her offerings. I believe she is truly gifted in the healing arts. I do deep work with her; she knows how to tap in. Thank you Cat!
Update: grateful to still be doing sessions with the generous, warm, wise Cat. Myself & my body feel so trusting and safe in her presence and space and I'm learning so much from her. I'm learning how to ask myself more questions, how to listen to my body. How to forgive and trust myself a little more. Im being reminded of how creative I truly am, The work Cat does with me is truly helping me on my healing journey of repairing my relationship to self, and body. Thank you Cat!
Cat is an inspired, intuitive, teacher with a lot of holistic knowledge. Please don’t let the sound of yoga therapy scare you away. I broke through some pretty tender stuff my very first session with her and felt very safe, guided, and unguarded in her presence and in her space. I really was able to drop in with her right away… I live with complex PTSD and anyone who does knows there is more to healing than talk therapy. Yoga doesn’t just mean stretchy poses on a mat - my last session with Cat we painted and that was my first time actually having a cathartic experience while painting. I was gifted a session with Cat by a trusted, very down-to-earth friend who has also benefited from sessions. Cat then gifted me a few scholarship sessions - paid for by generous donors. I absolutely recommend booking a session with her.

Cat provided a comfortable and caring sense of support that allowed me to express my thoughts and feelings. We worked with breathing and movement in a relaxed way that helped me free up tension and holding in my body. I felt much lighter and more expansive after our session. I recommend working with Cat to anyone who wants to move more deeply into their body/mind/heart connection.

Every time I work with Cat I experience some incredible shift in my life that seems to air out the old sails and get me back to a more calm and steady path. Her intuitive way of guiding me through my internal machinations is nothing short of miraculous. I owe much of my growth to the work I have done with her.

Cat is a neighbor and becoming a dear friend. When she offered me a session I said yes without a moment’s hesitation.
Having explored many different styles of therapy and now going through yet another major life transition, I went in with an open mind and heart. What a deep mind and heart opening experience it was! She is truly a gift to all who wish to know themselves.

Cat is such a wonderful teacher, observer, healer, helper, artist, and friend. Her style is unique to anything I’ve ever done, and I’ve been in therapy for 21 years!
I love how it’s not just “okay you’re depressed, get in downward dog!” but instead and seamless application of yogic principles woven throughout each piece of the conversation. I would recommend this to someone who is resistant to yoga, as well as seasoned practitioners. I would recommend this to people brand new to therapy, as well as people who are decades in, like myself. Cat’s toolbox is like a Mary Poppins bag, and she sees her clients in that way too, I believe. Whatever you say, she will hear you more than you even hear yourself. Her methods are so helpful. Book a session with this wonderful gal, you’ll thank yourself forever!

Wonderful experience with Cat. I was intimidated by the idea of yoga therapy since I last practiced over 10 years ago, but it was an approachable exercise in learning to listen to my body again. I believe that our bodies have a lot to tell us, but sometimes listening can feel hard. Cat helped make it easier, and I walked away with some needed clarity. Would definitely recommend and plan on returning.

I have spent the past decade working through pretty intense symptoms of post traumatic stress and a very dysregulated nervous system. I spent years in counseling and even attempted psychiatric treatment with minimal improvement. This was prior to working with Cat.
I decided I wanted to try a new approach and begin working naturally and somatically with my body in attempt to release stored trauma and really start to heal from the ROOT CAUSE. I also wanted to feel less helpless and more empowered on my journey to wellness.
Working with Cat in Yoga Therapy was a game changer. Not only did I become more aware of my bodies sensations, I was able to start RELEASING stuck trauma and quickly started to see tangible improvement in my everyday life, particularly with relational skills towards myself and others. I felt I was able to take some control back into my life and finally create a safe internal environment for myself!
Cat is so compassionate, warm, and insightful. I always felt heard, understood, and supported.
This was the exact environment, approach, and person I needed to launch major improvement for my mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
I'd also like to mention that there was a period of time where I still needed assitance, but was experiencing financial difficulty. Cat was able to work with me on a sliding scale basis, as well as offer scholarship funds when they were available. This made a world of difference for me!

As a yoga therapist, Cat listens carefully and helps create a safe, supportive space in which you can find what you need to explore. In addition, she’s just a damned good yoga teacher—experienced and skillful. You can get a lot out of working through a sequence of yoga poses with her.

I have back problems and have tried yoga in the past with negative results - I couldn’t do the moves and the instructor couldn’t or didn’t help me modify the movements so I could do them without pain. And, then I found Cat. Cat listened, recommended restorative yoga moves, and worked with me for several weeks showing me how to adjust the movements for my body. She is so gentle, patient, and generous with her time and spirit. I now practice restorative yoga at home. It is my go-to form of exercise to increase my mobility and give myself a healing break when needed. I wouldn’t have discovered this practice if it weren’t for Cat really listening and her insight into what movements would work for me. Thank you, Cat!!!!

Therapists are in high demand these days and I've been looking for alternative options. I highly recommend giving yoga therapy with Cat a try, especially if you're curious about integrating somatics with traditional "talk" therapy. Cat even goes the extra mile and provides an email summary of your session together.
