My granddaughter loves going to dance at 4th Avenue. The staff enjoys working with the children. I would recommend the studio to anyone. It's all about the love of dance.

Not only is it a great place to learn dance, but the teachers and staff truly care about the kids and helping them grow in all aspects of life!

As a student I’ve always had a great time and enjoyed class. Most supportive dance studio I’ve ever seen/walked in! Best staff too, my teachers have never failed to educate me or take care of me.

I have played instrumentally for some of the modern dance classes and I have witnessed firsthand the professionalism and care that the owner and staff have for their students. Not only when providing dance instruction but in the concern for the individual and positive affirmation that each student receives. I have also taken Pilates classes and performed in several of the shows. Having professionally trained and caring instructors make it easy for me to say that I believe this studio is by far the best studio in the tri-state area.

I’ve known the owner (Jessica Fox) for 15 years. She is a professionally trained dancer, choreographer and teacher that the Huntington community is incredibly lucky to have with them! I’ve been honored to work with her on a couple of productions. Of course the dancers’ experience is like no other but most noticeably is how supportive, encouraging, polite, and kind they are all to one another. If I have children, I would consider moving to the area so they could take lessons and have Jess, Nikki, and her entire team as role models! Most important to me is that she offers pilates and other non-dance lessons for people that are intimidated to begin moving as adults. It’s an incredibly comfortable environment focused on health, strength and self expression - beyond “just” technique. Love 4th Avenue Arts!

I am now 23 and I have been involved with 4th Ave Arts since I was 9! This facility has been my second home for years. The rest of the staff and myself have formed a family bind over the years, and it is our mission to given quality, compassionate instruction. We strive to provide our students with a safe, judgement-free, creative space to explore the world dance!

Fabulous for all your dance needs!! My child started dancing at 4th Ave Arts when the doors opened and now is a Freshman at WVU working on her Dance Major. Due to all the top educated training and encouragement she received from 4th Avenue Arts. She is able to continue her dream. A++++++++

4th Avenue Arts has given my daughter a home away from home. I am pleased they don’t just teach choreography but provide an education in the arts.

The experience here is unlike any other! They are so welcoming, inclusive and highly trained. They are so supportive of the students of any age and encourage them embrace who they are. They are so body positive and as someone’s whose body isn’t where she wants it to be, but loves to dance it feels nice to be so encouraged. It’s awesome to laugh, be challenged and celebrate my growth.

I have been studying under the Director/Founder Jessica Fox since 4th Avenue Arts opened under their previous title, Jeslyn Performing Arts Center, in 2006. The quality of the staff, their phenomenal education and training, and passion for what they do is clear in every class they teach. They have expanded so much over the past few years and have created new outlets for their students to grow and express themselves in performing arts. This studio creates lifelong movers through safe, challenging classes and technique-driven programming, and I am proud to still be a part of it eleven years later.

The receptionist is rude and very impersonal. I had problems last year and decided ok misunderstandings happen and my daughter loves her teacher so signed her up and gave them another chance. This year they have cut a lot of things. They are no longer doing pictures, they cut out programs for the performances (which some of the ticket price was supposed to cover). The teachers are great and I would love to keep my daughter there but the business part of it has gone down hill and I cannot justify it any longer.

Previously known as (Jeslyn Performing Arts Center) in 2016 the company re-branded to "4th Avenue Arts" to be more inclusive of all the services and instruction offered. Everything from Dance, Theatre, Musical Theatre, Vocal Training, Satellite Education Programs, Stagecraft, Home School Extension Curriculum, Pilates and more! Even more this is the ONLY studio I've ever come across that has their VERY OWN personal theatre and costume shop! The staff and faculty are highly trained and very knowledgeable in their specific skill sets. It's your best option for the best education in performance arts in the tri-state.
